Well, time to explain what happened to Cody. Poor everyone, seriously. I hate to see the characters a bit depressed, but it kinda tugs at the heart strings too that I can't help and try to write them mourning. And I'm finally feeling better, I'm not coughing up phlegm every five minutes, I can sing again!

Disclaimer: How's my foot up the next person's ass that's stupid enough to ask if I own SWAT Kats.

"Is this Hell?" The young tabby stared at the unreal sight before him. He seemed to be standing on an old concrete sundial, but with no sun to cast a shadow. The sky, or what seemed to be it, was a constantly blending of purple hues. Cody looked from beyond his platform to find a strange dark blue substance pooling around the entire area. To be honest, it seemed like his sundial was in an ocean of the stuff.

"So Hell looks like this huh, didn't expect that." Cody stayed unusually calm at the moment, he couldn't really process the shock thanks to the intrigue he was getting from this location. Examining his little foothold, he noticed that a couple pillars were poking out of the sea of dark blue. A few were toppled over and conveniently made a bridge. Watching each step he took, the tabby hopped across the pillars to find another sundial. Only there was something sticking out at the center that wasn't part of the actual dial. It appeared to be a scythe stabbed into it.

Feeling that it was the only thing close to signs of civilization, the tabby walked towards it, only to be attacked by a strange creature. The creature was very round minus a small tail like appendage in what he guessed was it's rear. The creature had bright blue beady eyes with large blood red teeth. Aside from the large incisors, the thing looked a bit adorable in a way. He figured because it reminded him of a Boo from Mario, only this one had a black coloring and way monstrous teeth. And the fact that it was staring him right in the face, Boos don't do that.

"Hey there little guy." Cody attempted to calm it down, though he moved a bit back to give it space. The little creature attempted to follow him, only to come short for some reason. Wondering for the reason, the tabby looked carefully to find some strange thing linking the creature and the handle of the scythe together. Almost like the two were chained together. "If you let me take that scythe, you'll be able to move away from here."

The creature stopped chomping at Cody and calmed down. Thinking it was ok for him to move forward, the tabby made his way to the strange thing first, petting it. "Thanks." Although he wasn't sure why he was petting it, but he would show his gratitude for letting it observe the scythe.

After he was done petting the creature, he walked up the scythe and traced his paw over the handle. He felt something connect to him, like as if he was bonded to something.

Feed me...

Shocked by the voice that was ringing in his head, the tabby fell backwards and stared at the scythe. He felt something was pulling at him to grab the weapon and take it with him, but the fear of what might happen afterwards was eating at him. Deciding that there was no other distinct object of interest any where in this world so far, the tabby dusted himself off and gripped the handle again.

Feed me, and be granted eternity.

"What?" Cody wondered about the point of this. "Feed you what?"

Souls of the wicked, do that and I shall grant you what you desire.

At this point, the tabby was considering taking up the offer. The only thing he wanted was his old life, so maybe feeding it souls wouldn't be that bad.

"I'll do it." The tabby waited for an answer, getting a small tug on his pants. He looked down to see the small creature motion to the scythe's blade. "Right, pull it out."

Cody gripped both his hands on the handle and pulled, he could hear the blade's metal slowly slipping out of the concrete sundial. After the weapon was fully free, the tabby cradled it over his shoulder and looked at the now cheery creature. Though afterwards, he began to regret his decision after watching some dark aura come off the blade and surround himself. The aura soon materializing as a black hooded vest and a red scarf.

Now you take on the responsibilities of a Reaper, go forth and reap the lives of those that seek malice.

"But, I'm the only one here... except for this guy." The tabby pointed at the small creature.

As a Reaper, you will be able to walk among the living, though they will not see you. Neither for your helper, GowGow.

"GowGow?" Cody looked at the small creature, seeing it jump a bit hearing it's name. It somewhat fit it, seeing as he was more cute than menacing. "But how do I do get to back to Megakat?" He asked, a bit shocked to assume that he was in fact dead.

The tool of a Reaper is what holds all their power.

Choosing to stop questioning the voice in his head, the tabby decided to just learn things on his own. That way he would know exactly what's going on instead being spoon fed riddles. "C'mon GowGow, we got some killing to do."

The tabby walked away from the scythe's old resting place, having his little helper gladly follow him.

The blade sliced through the air and seemed to show a bit of resistance as it revealed a small portal. In the portal, the Salvage Yard was in clear view.

"Now that I figured that out, time to go." He walked through the portal and sighed in relief to find himself in one piece in the Salvage Yard. He had to thank his father for always putting cartoons on to watch instead of educational shows. If it hadn't been for a certain cartoon with a Jamaican accented Grim Reaper and two dysfunctional kids. The tabby would still be talking to himself. (I loved that show... I miss it though)

Still carrying the scythe on his shoulder and GowGow following him, Cody made his way to the garage, only to find it closed. He reached for the door handle and was surprised to see he could actually make contact with physical objects. Then again, gravity seemed to still be in effect and he wasn't falling through the center of the earth.

After opening the door, he found that the whole place was entirely empty. No one was home at the moment. He sighed and sat at the couch that he knew the fox was still sleeping in. At least Roy was respectful enough not to move into his old room.

The tabby took a look at the calendar behind him to see that over a week had gone by since his death.

"They're probably at my funeral or something..." Getting up, Cody decided not to stay to see the sorrow that they were in. It would be better to remember the smiles they had rather than see the tears they would currently be crying.

"Time to find some bad guys." He walked through the streets of Megakat, seeing the sun set and the crime start to rise. He began to wonder how he was even supposed to reap souls. Choosing once again to learn it by himself, Cody scanned for any target. He noticed a shifty eyed raccoon and decided to make a move.

The raccoon continued to shuffle through the streets, bumping into other people occasionally. All while the tabby continued to stalk him, taking notice that he was a pickpocket. After watching him go down an alley, Cody took a deep breath before chasing after him. Hoping that he wouldn't go into another crowd and make his death obvious.

Eventually, the raccoon stopped and leaned against the alley wall. His eyes showing a bit of paranoia. Cody looked down at the small little creature and noticed it licking it teeth. "Lunch is coming GowGow, just wait." The tabby raised the scythe above his head and brought it down on the thief raccoon. Watching as the blade simply passed through him, leaving no wound or scratch whatsoever. And yet the body dropped, his eye's being lifeless and blank. He watched as a glowing orb left the body and was quickly eaten by GowGow. The creature jumping after swallowing.

"So I have to feed you the souls, are you the one with the voice?"

No, he is merely a gateway for the souls to transfer to me.

After realizing that the small helper and scythe are connected, he looked at the scythe.

I am the one who guides you, the Reaper's tool.

"That makes a bit of sense. Well, the night's still young." The tabby had the scythe rest on his shoulder yet again, GowGow following close behind. He had a whole night's worth of reaping to do if he ever wanted to live again.

Sorry if it seems short. I wanted to give Cody his own chapter. And explain my plan for killing him off.

Also, I was freaking out yesterday about SOPA trying to come back. But after a few words from friends, and getting sense slapped into me. (literally, I had my friend slap my face... it still stings even to this day) I realized that their is no way it's going to get passed. But just incase. I want to let my favorite guest reviewer know that I'M FUCKING HAPPY TO KNOW THAT YOU'RE PROBABLY COMING BACK IN ABOUT A WEEK! *coughs* Ahem... Sorry, but yeah, pretty happy. Also... pretty sure Skype allows messages to be sent. And if not, then we could've done Email. Also, I find it cute when you can't find anything else to talk about, especially when you mention something off topic like Basketball. Also, if SOPA does get passed, don't murder someone, that means you'll go to jail, and we all know what happens in those showers... I realized I'm not talking to a straight person, drop the soap...? Naw, I'm kidding, I won't let the inmates have you.

Anyways... on an unrelated note. I'm trying my best to try and write my own English dub lyrics to Shounen Brave... but I suck at it, I'm so horrible at creating lyrics. So I'm just gonna go to Mr. Corner and listen to Toumei Answer. *sits in emo corner*
