This chapter was not easy to write as I had to dig down deep to make Rudia evil. I see her as someone who doesn't like any one getting in her way and anyone who doesn't fit her view of being pure blooded. Think the Malfoy's of the Harry Potter books which is where I drew my inspiration for Rudia's attitude on hybrids and half royal/ half commoner heirs.

This chapter takes place during the previous one.

Chapter 24

Flash did his best to not scream out in pain as he felt the knife dig into his leg. No matter what Rudia did to him, he would not give in to her.

"Well, well, well. Who would have thought that a pathetic human would be able to withstand the torture that has made even some of the best Lycanian soldiers scream for mercy." Rudia cackled out as she stood in front of the red clad speedster with a carving knife in her hands dripping with the blood the belonged to Flash.

"I'm a founder of the Justice League. This is nothing compared to what I've seen." Flash spit back at the Renegade Lycanian that wanted to kill his beloved nephew.

Rudia back handed the speedster so hard that blood appeared on Flash's face. "Watch how you speak to me Human. I will not tolerate such disrespect. You will show me respect." The Royal growled out

"Like hell I will. Respect is earned not given which is something that you will never get." Flash told the black haired Lycanian who once again backhanded him.

"Oh really? So you think that my sister's mutt of a son should get more respect then me? I am a full blooded noble where that so called mutt of an heir is half commoner. He does not belong on the throne. He's to weak to be king. He is weak for showing compassion to our enemies. But then again he was raised with a Filthy hybrid that he views as a brother. That hybrid should not even be allowed to live much less be allowed to be raised by members of the Royal family." Rudia snarled out as she looked at her nephew's human guardian.

Flash was shocked at how hateful Rudia was shown for her own family and the racism she had for Roy who the Speedster had come to know as a nephew or maybe a son like Wally was to him.

"Roy is nothing like what you say he is. Roy's a better person than you will ever be." Flash yelled out before he was stabbed in his other leg.

"That freak is nothing! His kind are meant to destroyed. Lycanis was meant to rule the universe and by the Goddess we will." Rudia told Flash as she got into his face. "You know that I can make the pain go away if you just tell give Lyall." Rudia told the speedster in a seductive voice as her face got closer to Flash's face. "You have speed which is something that Lycanian's are known for. Why don't you join me? We could make a perfect pair." Rudia told the speedster as she leaned down to kiss Flash. The renegade Lycanian Princess was sure her seducing technique would work on the human male as she always got what she wanted with men.

Rudia let out a yelp as she felt blood on her lips from the bite that Flash had given her when she kissed him.

"No thanks. I already had a woman that is worth so much more than you will ever be. Plus Wally also is so much than a two bit wanna be slut of a werewolf Princess who thinks men are playthings." Flash told the Lycanian with venom in his voice. He would never betray his wife who he loved with all his heart and the nephew he viewed as a son.

"How dare you say that!" Rudia screamed as she backhanded Flash again. "I could offer you anything you want but you choose a flea bitten mutt over a Princess of the Lycanian Empire." Rudia was in a outrage. Normally she had men falling at her feet but this human male was not falling for her tricks. He was very loyal to his commoner Lycanian wife. "What does Accalia have that a member of the Royal family doesn't have?"

"I wouldn't call you a Royal. Royalty are supposed to lead by example and also be kind and compassionate which is something you most certainly not. As for my wife, you really want to know what she has that you don't? Well for starters, she is a million times the woman you will ever be. She is loving to a child that is an outcast in both of his parent's cultures. She is strong and loyal. She not afraid to fight for what she believe in. She is also not a cold blooded killer who uses her body to manipulate men to do her bidding and to kill an innocent baby. The thought of joining at turning over my nephew is sickening. I love Wally as if he was my own son and I'll sure as hell die for him before I let some flea bitten mongrel bitch that dares calls herself a princess and I use the word princess loosely as you Rudia are no Princess but a slut get her hands on the boy that I consider my son." Flash growled out with passion. It was true that Flash would die for his wife and Sons as he considered Roy a member of his family long before he found out that Roy was a hybrid.

Rudia's eyes glowed bright yellow as the treatment she was getting from someone that Lawrence had told her was very laid back and content. This human in front of her hanging in chains completely powerless was nothing of what her spy had told her. This human was one of the most passionate creatures she had ever gotten her hands on. He would make a good edition to her army if she could get him to get over his mutt of a wife and get him to turn over the Flea bitten heir to the throne.

"Just you wait Flash, I will make you rethink what you just said to me." Rudia told the speedster with a smirk.

"Do your worse but I'm not joining you. Nothing you can do will make me join you or make me betray my family." Flash snapped out as he knew that he would have to be strong until the rescue team arrived which he knew would consist of his wife (who could take on Batman and win) and sons. As well as Young Justice and the League.

"We shall see Human, we shall see." Rudia said in low dangerous voice that told Flash that he was in for a lot of pain but he wouldn't give up no matter what.

Next chapter Wally, Iris, Eyolf, Roy and Artemis infiltrate Rudia's hideout to rescue Flash only to come face to face with the hardest battle of their lives when one of their own fights a battle of their lives and may make the ultimate sacrifice.
