After another quiet flight back to the Dragon city of Warfang, our heroes, and Night (*lol*), reached their destiny at the end of the day, as Spyro predicted.

Ember had noticed the wounds that Flame had, and grew worried with that, and confused, because Flame avoided talking about them, for Night's relieve. Night knew that Ember would discover someday, but right now it could worse the way that the dragons looked at her, at least in her mind.

Ember didn't have time to talk to Flame about what happened, neither had Grace to help him. Both things would have to wait.

As ever, Spyro landed with all the others near the Guardians' chamber, and guided them to there.

The three old dragons were there, talking, waiting for them to come back, and noticed Spyro and Cynder soon that they entered the chamber, leading the others.

"Spyro, Cynder, you're back!" Terrador joyfully said while gazing them.

Spyro and Cynder just smiled to him, and soon the others started to enter too.

"Not just them, happily. For the first time no one is missing!" Cyril happily continued.

"Yes!" Terrador agreed. "So, how was it? Is everyone okay?"

"Mostly, Flame and Night and quite beaten up. Me and Cynder took some hits, but we are okay."

"You two should take a sleep in the infirmary then, the healer is there to help you." Terrador said gazing at both. "You can right now if you want..."

"Where is it?" Flame replied him.

"I will take you there." Ember replied him before Terrador could.

"Okay then." Flame replied, not understanding why she offered to help so quickly.

Terrador just nodded to her, and she left, leading him and Night.

"So, where were we?" Terrador looked back to Spyro.

"Well, the one behind this, Night's master as it seems, is dead." He replied.

"Good." Terrador replied.

"We found Night chained in a room, alone. She set her free by herself though."

"Maybe he was keeping her from using her powers while alive, somehow." Cynder said to him, catching his gaze.

"Could be..."Spyro replied, then looked back to Terrador. "She said he locked her to punish her, because he discovered that she defied him. We heard shouts when he first entered the Well, probably her shouts."

Terrador mumbled a bit and stroked his chin, before asking Spyro and Cynder.

"I see... Do you think she said the truth?"

"I guess so. She was really beaten up." Spyro replied.

"I saw that too." Terrador replied. "Now... do you trust her at all?" He asked looking to both.

Spyro and Cynder looked to each other, and Spyro replied. "Well, because of her help, we found the ape, my powers and Flame."

After he finished, Cynder took the opportunity to continue.

"Still, she worked for him, and we do not know if she really changed, and regretted her acts, or if she just wanted us to kill her master and be free. And while we do not know that, we should keep an eye on her."

"That's right." Terrador replied. "Anything else I should know or is it finally over?"

Spyro and Cynder looked to each other again, and back to him.

"Nothing? Good! I know you are quite exhausted, so go on to your rooms and take a long rest. Also, because of these problems you all are being pushing through, probably you all will have the day off tomorrow to rest! And congratulations to you all!" He joyfully finished.

The young dragons nodded their heads, turned and walked away to their rooms then, but Terrador remenbered something, and called Spyro and Cynder back, making everyone stop and look back to him.

Terrador just gazed to Spyro, and said: Sparx had been here while you were off. We didn't tell him what you were doing though. Maybe he visits you tomorrow morning."

"Oh...!" Cynder protested.

Spyro just laughed, as did Terrador.

"Thanks for the advice Terrador." Spyro replied.

Terrador just nodded his head, and the dragons walked out of the chamber.

Once back in the corridor, Spyro and Cynder parted, and went to their room for a well deserved rest. Leaving Amphars and Grace there.

"Well, see you tomorrow, I guess..." Grace started.

"Yes, that's pretty late, I really want to lay down." Amphars replied, and she nodded. "See you tomorrow. Sleep well." He finished, and smiled.

"Sleep well, Amphy." She happily replied, and went to her room. He just briefly watched before going to his own.

Meanwhile, Ember guided Flame and Night to the healer, outside the temple. Once Ember entered, saw the small mole on his desk right on the entrance.

"Healer, those two could you your help." She said, and gazed to Flame and Night coming after her.

"Just pick a bed and rest, I will be there shortly." He replied to them, and they nodded their heads.

"Well, thanks Ember, for getting us here." Flame now said to her.

"That's the least I can do for you." She replied with a small smile.

"So...good night..." He replied.

"Good night..." She replied and turned, going back to her room on the temple.

Flame watched her leave, before he and Night went to pick their beds and rest.

Ember flew her way back thinking in how would she explain what she did to Flame, and on what could be thinking about her. She was happy and relieved because he was back in one piece, but sad and worried because of what happened.

That thoughts would continue even after that she lay down, but she was tired, and didn't take much time to fell asleep.

Flame was pretty eager to see her explanation about what happened, but what he had saw was really hard to deal with, so much that he even wanted to avoid Ember for some time.

In the following day, Ember and Grace were the first ones to wake up, followed by the rest shortly.

Both decided to take a shower before having breakfast, so they find each other at the female's bathroom. They greeted each other, and started to take their showers side by side.

Grace was been thinking of Amphars since she got up, and actually she laid down last night just thinking about him, and while she did, a weird itch to see him again struck her until she fell asleep.

With that, she couldn't keep herself from asking Ember:

"Have you seen Amphars?"

"No." Ember laughed. "I guess that it's early and he might be still sleeping, as the others do."

Grace didn't reply.

"Why don't you go and wake him up, since you want to see him right now?" She smiled to Grace.

Grace seemed to grow embarrassed. "Who said that?" She questioned Ember, with an eyebrow raised.

Ember laughed to her reaction, and replied. "Oh come on, Grace! No one needs to tell me that!"

Grace didn't reply again, just looked straight again and continued to wash herself.

Ember then started to say: "Or, I can do that..."

"I'll do it!" Grace quickly replied, cutting Ember in mid talk.

Ember just laughed once more.

When both finished their showers and left the bathroom, Ember parted with Grace, going to the mess hall to have breakfast and wait the others, while Grace went to Amphars' room. Ember also planned in visiting Flame later, if he didn't appear at the mess hall.

Grace knocked twice on his door, but he didn't wake up, so she did it again, and called his name.

The noise and her voice woke him up. He woke somehow spooked, because he was not used to being woke up by someone.

"Who's that?" He sleepily asked.

"It's Grace." She replied.

"Oh...come in Grace." He replied, still sleepily, and tried to shake himself awake. For him, that was quite unexpected.

Grace first poked her head in to look at him before going in. She got quite nervous by waking him up.

"Did something happen?" He asked somehow worriedly, while she made her way closer to him. He was still getting up from his bed.

"Nope." She replied. "I just wanted to...see you, and say good morning." She felt a bit nervous while saying that.

Amphars just gave her a happy smile, and sat on his bed.

"Good morning then."

She smiled back briefly, before looking down to the ground. She was close enough to Amphars to notice what lasted of water in her body, from the shower she took.

Seeing that she went quiet, Amphars got her attention once again.

"Did you sleep well?"

She gazed back at him, and replied.

"Well I...did, yes. And you?"

"Pretty good." He replied. "So, since we will probably have the day off, what do you plan to do?"

"I don't know." She shook her head.

"Neither do I." He replied.

Seeing that she didn't reply, he continued.

"Well... we could spend some time together today... if you want." He proposed, looking directly at her.

She seemed to be surprised with what she heard.

"I would like." She happily replied, somewhat shyly though.

"We have time between breakfast and lunch, and then we will have the entire day until tonight."

"That's a plenty of time." She smiled.

He just smiled back, and continued. "So, I'll take a shower right now, then I will be going to the mess hall."

"Ok, I'll be there." She replied. "Have a good shower."

"Thanks." He happily said and left his room, leaving Grace alone there.

Amphars was felling pretty proud of himself and happy, while walking to the showers. He had enough courage to ask her for something like a date and she had accepted without arguing. That was something he had not felt for a good time. Also, he was anxious to see how would that day end.

Alone in his room, Grace started to think what she should do in her time with him later, and how she would tell that to Ember. She was happy, and anxious, to see where things would lead them. While she thought however, his scent came to her nostrils, from his bed. The time he passed in his bed was enough to leave his smell there as strong as in himself.

Grace liked that smell since she first felt it, days before. When she felt it once again, she took a deep breath of it, and suddenly her body seemed to quickly warm from inside out, and her heart seemed to beat stronger. That was a good sensation though, and she come closer to his bed, sniffed it to confirm that the smell were coming from there, and seeing that no one was close, she laid herself on it.

The bed seemed to be much more comfortable, because it was his, not her own. So good that she didn't want to get up again. She had not any idea of why that was happening, but was happening. She got even more comfortable and closed her eyes, while felt his smell, and enjoyed her stay.

She knew that he could easily discover that she had been there, but she didn't care at all. Actually, she wanted him to find out that. She just hoped that he would like the "surprise".

It took her some minutes to open her eyes again and get up. When she did so, she stretched herself, and went directly to the mess hall to meet Ember and to have her breakfast.

Meanwhile, Cynder woke up. Soon she opened her eyes, noticed that Spyro was still asleep. Then she gazed to the balcony, and saw the sun already shining, so she gazed back to Spyro, and nudged him under his maw.

"Spyro...It's morning already." She softly said.

Spyro just moved and grunted a bit, so she poked in once again under his maw, with her nose.

"Spyro?"

"Yes?..." He sleepily answered.

"It's morning already, we shouldn't get up too late." She replied.

"Don't we have the day off?" He asked back to her.

She just laughed a bit, and could see smiling too, still with his eyes closed.

"We still need to have breakfast." She said.

Spyro then sleepily opened his eyes, and looked to her, who gave him a warm smile.

"Good morning." He said with a small smile.

"Good morning, sweetheart." She replied, and touched noses with him.

"Did you sleep well?" He asked after that.

"I did." Cynder smiled, and started to get up from their bed.

"I'm happy that Sparx didn't come to bother us." She said while stretched herself, but when looked back to him, found him totally away, watching her stretch.

When she stopped stretching, called his attention, and he quickly gazed at her.

"Sorry, what?" He asked.

Cynder just started to laugh.

Is everyone eager to see what will happen in this day that just begun?

Until next weekend, people.
