Chapter 25 Fire in the night Part 1
Alarm bells whistled through her eardrums as her boots thudded along the lino floor. When she had found the building, it was quiet. A tall entity in the night with no signs of life. Then suddenly for some reason, the shouting started and the life within broke free. Her only guess was Dean and Roman had arrived, like she thought Seth wasn't so content on leaving with them like before.
"She's in sector twelve!" The robotic cackle annouced around her making her remember that she wasn't alone in this building, the people here were enemies and they wouldn't take so kindly to her killing their new leader. Thick hands wrapped around her wrists, trying to pull her to an un-known room, their binds tough but somehow she managed to twist herself out of their grip. Raven fled as fast as she could, that robotic cackle now focused on some thing else.
"Forget the girl! Get the Vampires instead!"
A cold chill swept through her spine as the truth finally lept at her, Dean and Roman were here and someone was about to die.
"Raven? Can you hear me?"
Her head cocked from side to side trying to find Stephanie but so far it was just her voice,
"Stephanie?"
"You have to get out! It's a trap! It's a trap!"
"Well duh" Raven muttered as she went back to her running, everything just blared in her head, the vision she had recieved mixed with the concern for Dean's safety was starting to take its heavy toll. She knew she had to get out because it was obvious that her survival wasn't part of the plan. Still she refused to leave Dean behind, even if she didn't survive at least he would. After all everyone else she had was dead and gone, perhaps it was time to join them. Just as another guard came round the corner Raven swiftly moved into the nearest door she could find, looking up at the figure in front of her, her whole body seemed to just shut down as the reality swept over her. In the glass container filled with a murky liquid was her sister. Her tattooed body kept in brilliant condition, no wonder they couldn't find her, she was here the entire time. Raven made herself move to the glass, her hand gently touching the barrier between herself and her twin.
"She's beautiful isn't she?"
Raven couldn't take her eyes off her Iziah, it was like she was asleep, waiting for a better reality to wake up too.
"What did you do to her?"
Kane let out a gentle chuckle "I've kept her alive Raven. You have no idea how many people I've killed to keep her in this condition"
Raven just kept staring at the still frame, floating somewhat in the water.
"At first I thought that the only way she would be alive was if she had your blood, being twins and all. But then Beth Phoenix came along, with her blood injected into Iziah, it allowed her to come back, well for a month or so"
His words barely got through but it cleared up what happened that month, for some reason Iziah's ghost had just vanished and for a moment Raven thought she had finally moved on. Then there she was, back again and neither twin could explain why.
"Then we realised that the only way to bring her back for good was to mix your blood with her's. With Iziah we would be un-stoppable!"
"Iziah would never join you" Raven backed away, her dead hands inching towards her knives, "She would rather be dead"
"Iziah only cares for one person Raven, and once you're dead, she'll have no other reason to be...good, we'll call it shall we"
The dart flew quicker than she could move, it hit her neck and for the first time in a long time, she went down to the black abyss.
