This Chapter is long! I'm not sure how it happened, but it happened. There will be mistakes. There is no way I caught them all. Overlook them please. Thanks for reading it.

Final chapter

Me and Mr. Grey…..Chapter 25

Brenda slipped out of bed, while Christian was on the phone, and went into the bathroom.

She closed the door and walked up to the mirror.

Her hair was in a single braid.

Courtesy of Christian

She guess it was his idea of safe sex.

She ran her hand across her bare breasts.

Sex with Christian could really get crazy.

Not just crazy, but messy too.

She honestly did not think things through when she decided to un-cuff him.

That was a mistake she wish she could take back.

He definitely made her pay as soon as those cuffs were off.

She grinned and started to take down the braid in her hair.

She mumbled to herself. "….goddamn freak."

But she missed that freak.

It felt good being with him again.

It was not the sex she missed. It was the man.

Maybe this time they would get it right.

She hoped so.

She looked up at the clock.

The kids would be back soon, she really needed to shower.

She turned on the water and got in.

She was standing up under the water, when she heard the sliding door.

She opened her eyes. "Christian, don't even think about it."

"I'll always think about it."

"Trust me, I know. I almost forgot how big of a freak you are."

He leaned down and kissed her. "Glad I could remind you."

She grabbed the body wash. "I didn't think you were ever going to get tired."

"It's called working out. Try it."

"It's called being a freak and I work out."

"I don't call what you do working out. You should start seeing my trainer again. He'll get you where you need to be."

"And where I need to be is up under you for five hours straight?"

He grinned. "Not just under me. On top of me, in front of me….swallowing me."

She rolled her eyes.

Christian ran a finger down the hollow part of her chest. "Don't do that. Nothing turns me on more."

She pushed his finger away and grinned. "Christian, blinking turns you on."

He smiled. "Depends on who is doing the blinking. If it is you, I would have to agree. I remember you used to roll your eyes a lot."

"Because you annoyed the hell out of me."

"Well, not much has changed. I still remember when I first laid eyes on you. I wanted you so badly."

She started to soap up her body. "You got me, fairly quickly actually. I acted like a hopeless sl*t. Not one of my proudest moments."

He laughed. "You did not act like a sl*t."

"Yes, I did. I hardly knew you. You really could have killed me."

"But I didn't, as I have reminded you countless times."

She rinsed the soap off. "Thank God."

Christian was done talking about the past, he wanted to talk about the present. "So, when are you moving out of that other house?"

"Grey, don't you think we should take things slow?"

"Hell no. We have been taking things slow."

"I like my house."

Christian sighed. "Brenda, you drive me f*cking insane. This is our house. It was built especially for us. We are not moving into that other house-"

She placed her hand over his mouth. "I just said I liked the house, that's it. If we are going to live together, of course it should be here."

She removed her hand. "I'm not an idiot, Grey."

"I never said you were." He grabbed the bottle of shampoo. "It would be so much easier if I just got a submissive and left these f*cking relationships alone."

She stood up under the water. "Someone that does only what you want? That's no fun."

He smirked. "The hell it isn't."

She pushed him. "If you want one, you should get one. Don't let me stop you."

"Would you just let me go?" He answered before she could. "Of course you would."

"If it's what you want."

"If it is what I want? We definitely have to work on that. I would never let you go that easily and the situation with Brayden was different."

"I just want you to do whatever makes you happy. When you love someone you want them to be happy and if it is not with you, then so be it."

Christian shook his head. "And that's why I don't do that love sh*t. I want you to be with me, and if you are not happy…tough, you will eventually come around."

"Ok, psycho."

He laughed and winked at her.

"You really think your life would be easier if you had a submissive?"

"No, you have ruined it for me. The only woman I want to dominate is you."

"Not happening, Grey."

His eyes darkened. "Never say never."

"Grey, if you think I'm going to let you tie me up, and torture me, you really should have your head examined."

He laughed. "It's not torture, Brenda. It's all about pleasure. Yours-"

She interrupted. "I know, I know, yours and mine. I don't know how many times I have heard you say that."

"Have I ever tortured you?"

"No, because I wouldn't let you, and remember I never signed the contract."

Christian burst into laughter. "Yes, I remember. You only signed the nondisclosure agreement."

"Oh trust me, I'd never ever tell a soul about all of the things you have done to me or would like to do to me. Let's see, tie me up, beat me, stretch my butt hole, with one of those anal things, and by the way that sounds like it hurts."

"Not if you do it right."

"I don't think there could ever be a right way."

He grinned. "Let me show you."

"No, let me show you, but back to that nondisclosure agreement, I would never tell a soul how great you are in bed. You're already the earth's most beautiful man and if women knew you were great in bed too, I'd really have to beat them off."

"Well, if anyone had any idea you are not only gorgeous, but have the sweetest of p*ssies, I would have to get Taylor to take a couple of people out."

"Grey, please for the sake of everything, say vagina. Just please say vagina. But sex was never the problem. It was everything else."

His smile faded. "I tried, Brenda. As much as I need control, I tried to change...for you...for us and our family. I've never wanted anything as much as I've wanted you. You have given me so much hell, but I still want you. I must be motherf*cking crazy."

"You are not crazy. I'm sorry...for everything."

He looked into her eyes. "I just have to know if you are all in? Because I can't take another separation."

"Based off what you said earlier, it looks like I have no choice."

"I was kidding, but now I am serious. Are you all in?"

She nodded. "I'm all in."

"I'm f*cking serious, Brenda."

"I know."

"You're not going to change your mind?"

"Of course not. I love you, Christian. I always have. You and all your personalities."

He nodded, slipped his hand up the nape of her neck, and pulled her to him, crushing her breasts against his body.

He kissed her hard.

She pulled away. "Christian, we are not having sex."

"I don't want to have sex. I just wanted to kiss you...because I haven't been able to do that in a while."

"Oh."

He started rinsing off.

She apologized. "I'm sorry."

"I forgive you."

"Thank you, Sir."

He laughed.

They finished their shower and as soon as the kids returned they took them out for a little family fun..

They had to stop by Brenda's house first, she needed clothes, and then off they went.

They ended up going to the local family fun center.

There were games, rides, a rock climbing wall, bowling, go-carts, and a host of other things.

Belle was too young for most of it, but she still had fun.

This was something they often did, even while living apart.

They always spent time as a family.

After leaving the fun center they stopped and grabbed something to eat.

They went to the restaurant Christian took Brenda to on their first date.

Not that he would ever call it that.

This is where they shared the news with Brayden.

He was really happy to learn they were back together and they'd be living in the same house again.

He never liked going from house to house.

It was all really confusing because they still spent so much time together.

He never understood why they just couldn't live in one house.

His whole demeanor changed as soon as they shared the news with him.

They knew without a doubt this was the best decision.

It was good for them and also their family….

They are on the way home, and the kids are in the back sleep.

Brenda turned and looked at them. "They are out."

She turned back around and leaned back against the seat.

She was tired too.

It was a combination of the emotion of last night and the sex.

Both took a lot out of her.

They stopped at a red light.

Christian grabbed her hand and pulled it to his lips, planting a kiss on it.

Brenda looked over at him but noticed something on the side of the street.

She sat up. "Oh my God, is that David?"

Christian looked around. "Who?"

"It is David. Diana's David! He's right there with that woman...holding hands!"

Christian spotted him.

The light changed and he kept going.

"Christian, where are you going? Turn around!"

"I'm not turning around. It isn't our business."

"Diana is my business…and her husband, who she loves, is cheating!"

"Maybe, but that is not your concern."

"Oh, yes it is."

She turned in her seat. "Look, they are leaving together!"

Christian made a right.

She turned back around. "Oh my God, that bastard."

"Brenda, let it go. It is not any of your concern."

"Stop saying that! It is my concern! She is my best friend, Christian! Are you ok with cheating?"

Christian shot her look. "Brenda, don't start."

"No, I want to know. Are you ok with cheating? Do you think he is just being a man?"

Christian was irritated now. "We have just gotten back together. It hasn't even been a whole twenty-four hours. I don't think we should be getting involved in other people's lives. We have our own sh*t to work on."

She knew he had a point, but she couldn't believe David. "She loves him. She is good to him. I can't believe he would do this to her."

"People are not perfect, Brenda."

"Have you cheated on me?"

"Brenda, please just stop talking."

"I'm serious, Christian."

"Brenda, I have never cheated on you. You know why? I'll answer, because you haven't stuck around long enough."

Her eyes widen. "So, what you are saying is, if given the opportunity you would?"

Christian could not believe her. "It was a joke, Brenda."

"A bad joke, Christian. Are you lying?"

He frowned. "About what?"

"Cheating on me."

"No. I want you, if I didn't, we wouldn't be together, which really hasn't been that long. Not even twenty-four hours. Remember?"

She ignored him. "I hope if you are ever tempted and I'm not enough for you, just tell me, and we can go our separate ways."

"Brenda, I am done talking about it."

"I'm not. I am so angry. I have to tell Diana."

She fumbled through her purse and pulled out her phone.

Christian took it away from her. "No, stay out of it."

"I can't, she is my best friend. She thought you were cheating once and told me."

He found that amusing. "Oh really?"

"It's when we were living together, but we were not actually together."

"I had a submissive when you were off getting engaged to that blonde b*tch. That is it."

Brenda looked out of the passenger side window. It really bothered her knowing that he had been intimate with someone else, but it was her fault. "Christian, you had every right to do whatever. I left you."

He added. "Yes, you did."

"I know and it will never happen again."

"I won't let it."

She continued. "As long as you didn't cheat on me while we were together."

"I told you I didn't."

She crossed her arms. "I can't believe him."

"Maybe they are just having a day long date like you and Ken."

"Really, Christian? Are we still discussing that?"

"No, Baby."

"Are you being sarcastic?"

"No."

Christian needed her to focus on them, not David and Diana. "Baby, we have our own sh*t, let them deal with their own mess."

"Christian, she probably doesn't even know, in fact I'm sure of it. She would have told me."

"Just stay out of it. We have enough on our plate."

"Damn it, you're right. I know it. I'll try to just forget it. I'll just act like I never saw them."

She was lying and he knew it...

The kids woke up as soon as they got home and Brenda spent the rest of the day with them.

Christian worked the rest of the day.

He ate dinner with them, but disappeared soon after.

It's later and the kids are in bed.

Brenda was in bed too wondering what was keeping Christian.

He had not come up yet.

Maybe he was having second thoughts?

Everything happened so quickly.

She decided to go and find him.

She headed downstairs to his office, but he wasn't there.

She checked the workout room, still no sign. And after that…the theatre room, but he wasn't in there either.

She was just about to head upstairs when she decided to check one last place.

She walked up to the door.

Due to the room being sound proof, she could only hear the piano faintly.

She found him.

She should have known he would be there.

Christian liked to play late.

It was a stress reliever for him.

She didn't want to interrupt, so she stood outside the door, and listened.

He was so talented.

Was there anything he couldn't do?

Make love

She chuckled.

All of a sudden there was silence.

She stood there for a moment, then walked away.

The door opened.

She hurried around the corner.

Christian yelled her name. "Brenda?!"

She peeked around the corner. "How did you know I was out here?"

"There are security cameras in this room. I looked up and saw you."

"Oh, I forgot."

"Come in."

She threw her hand up. "No, I didn't want anything. I was just wondering where you were. Go back...finish playing."

He walked up and grabbed her hand. "Come on."

He took her inside.

He pulled her over to the piano and sat down, pulling her down onto his lap.

He noticed she was wearing one of his t-shirts.

"I forgot to pack something to sleep in.

He slipped his hand under her shirt, cupping one of her breasts. "Are you sore?"

"A little. Are you planning on making me sorer?"

He smiled. "No, I hadn't planned on it."

She laughed. "Somehow, I don't believe that."

"I have to go out of town for a couple of days."

She nodded. "Ok."

"Would you like to come?"

"No, you don't have to take me everywhere you go. We'll be fine. I'm not leaving."

"I know that. We just haven't been back together that long. I'm not ready to be separated from you."

"I'll be here when you get back. Now, Grey, please explain why are you holding onto my breast. It's not going to run away."

"Where else am I going to put my hand? It has to go somewhere. I guess I could put it inside your panties. Are you even wearing panties, or are you just wearing my boxers?"

"No, I'm wearing panties. Where are you going?"

"I have to go New York. I have two days of meetings. I am thinking about taking over another company."

"Hostile?"

"Nope, they are struggling. I have worked in the past with the owners and I want to help them. I'll get it back to where it needs to be, and probably sell it back?"

"That's nice of you."

"I can be nice sometimes. I respect them, they are hard workers."

He stood up, forcing her to stand too.

He closed the lid on the piano.

"Christian, I didn't mean to interrupt you."

"You didn't."

"Are you having second thoughts?"

He looked confused. "About what?"

"Us, we are moving quickly."

He took off his shirt and threw it on a sofa located across the room. "Not quick enough."

He picked her up and sat her on top of the piano.

"Grey, I didn't come down here to have sex."

He coaxed her to lie back. "We are not having sex. Not the kind you are thinking of. I'm going to kiss all of your sore spots."

He pulled her bottoms off.

"Grey, I'm fine. Last night and this morning was great."

He ignored her.

The piano was cold on her rear, but as soon as she felt his warm lips…..she hardly noticed.

She knew from the very beginning he was skilled, but he still had the ability to introduce her to something new.

That night was no different.

He didn't use his fingers, only his lips….and his tongue.

It was the most gentle he had ever been.

She knew he was sucking on her, at least that's what it felt like.

It was so gentle, almost too gentle, and it was driving her mad.

She needed something to hold onto, but she was in the middle of his huge piano.

She reached down and grabbed a handful of this hair.

He had no reaction, he just continued with the same gentle sucking.

He never increased his speed or got overly aggressive.

She had never experienced anything like it.

It felt amazing and she was moaning like a porn star, which was not uncommon whenever they were together.

Except she was not the star….Christian was.

She was so wet.

She could feel the slickness up under her rear.

She looked down at him.

His eyes were closed, it was like he was in some sort of a trance...a zone...and she was reaping the benefits.

She didn't know how many times she came.

She lost count.

Eventually, he raised his head. "Better?"

The only thing she could do was nod.

She was out of breath.

He helped her down, cleaned the piano, and they went up to their room...

Christian was in the bathroom, she is in bed waiting on him to come out.

She didn't care how sore she was, she wanted him.

After what happened downstairs…..she needed him.

She saw the light go out in the bathroom and finally...he emerged.

He slid in next to her and kissed her shoulder.

Brenda waited….but nothing.

Was he really going to sleep?

After about fifteen minutes, she turned to face him.

He was looking directly at her with those haunting gray eyes.

"I thought you were asleep."

"No, can't believe you are lying next to me. Why aren't you?"

"I...don't know. I...guess I can't sleep."

"Why not?"

"I don't know."

"You know. Brenda, aren't you comfortable with me?"

She touched his cheek. "Of course, I'm comfortable with you."

"What's wrong?"

"Are you seriously just going to go to sleep?"

"Unless there is a reason I shouldn't?"

"I mean if you are tired you should go."

"Brenda, stop. Tell me what you want. We are not strangers."

"You. I want you, Grey."

"How?"

She grinned. "What?"

He asked the question again. "How?"

"How? I don't know, the normal way."

"Tell me."

"You want me to tell you how?"

"Yes."

"You take your penis and insert it in my vagina, that's how."

He laughed. "As beautiful as you are, and you are beautiful, that mouth of yours is what hooked me. From the first moment I laid eyes on you, it was moving."

He tossed the covers back and removed his boxers.

He threw his leg over her upper body, practically shoving his manhood in her face. "Suck."

"No. I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but this room is not red, which means I am not your submissive. If you would like me to perform oral sex on you, ask me nicely."

"Suck."

"No."

"Goddammit it, Brenda."

"Goddammit it, Grey." She gripped him. "Ask me nicely."

If he wanted his d*ck sucked, he was going to have do what she wanted.

He knew from past experiences that she was not going to back down.

"Put it in your mouth...please."

"Yes, Sir." She swirled her tongue around the tip and shoved as much as she could down her throat...

It's the next morning and Brenda is just waking up.

She found a note on Christian's pillow saying goodbye.

She wondered why he didn't wake her.

He was going to be gone for two days.

She wanted to see him before he left.

There wasn't anything she could do about it now.

She got up and took a shower, because the kids would be up soon.

She also changed the linen on their bed.

Things had gotten a little wild last night.

She often wondered what kinds of things Miss Jones had seen when she cleaned his playroom.

What she must have thought?

She was sure she thought something, she was human.

She could only imagine the things she'd seen.

She smiled.

Just thinking about Miss Jones made her smile.

She really missed her.

She knew Christian did too.

He never talked about it, but she could tell….

After changing the linen and starting the laundry, she headed down to Belle's room.

She was still sleeping.

She looked in on Brayden, he was asleep too.

She went back into Belle's room and sat down in the rocking chair.

She really needed to make arrangements to bring her things back over.

"Mommie!"

She looked up and smiled. "Belle!"

Belle yelled again. "Mommie!"

Brenda threw her hands up. "Belle!"

She laughed and walked over to her crib...

Brenda and the kids ended up going over to Diana's for breakfast.

Diana called and extended an invitation while she was getting the kids dressed.

David was not there.

They have just finished eating.

The kids are playing and Brenda and Diana are sitting on the large sectional watching them.

"So, how in the world did it happen?"

Brenda stretched. "It just happened. We realized we wanted to be together."

"We...or you?"

"I guess I did. I will never find anyone that I want more than Christian."

Diana grinned. "No, you won't, but you two never really broke up. You still spent every day together."

"We have kids."

"Yeah, but you never dated, and as far as I know, he didn't either. It sucks he had to go out of town, when you just got back together."

Brenda sighed. "Yeah. I miss him like crazy."

"Awe, that's sweet. Are you sure you don't want to try one more time with Jax?"

Brenda giggled. "I'm sure. Are you still team Jax?"

"Yes." She laughed. "I am just kidding. I am on your team. I know you love Christian."

"How is everything going with you and David?"

"Great, he's working more than ever, but we are solid."

Brenda wanted to tell her the truth about her cheating, lying husband, but she decided to take Christian's advice.

At least as it pertains to Diana, but she planned on having a word with David, as soon as she got the opportunity.

They spent the whole day with Diana and Ariyanna.

Brenda really stayed because she wanted to see David.

She never got that opportunity.

He never made an appearance.

Diana said he was working late.

It was so hard for Brenda not to tell her the truth.

She wanted to but she was anxious to talk to David first.

Just maybe she could talk some sense into him, because she didn't really want to break her friend's heart…

It was late when they got home.

After Brayden and Belle had their baths, they all piled in her and Christian's bed.

She decided to let them sleep with her, since Christian wasn't coming home.

The bed was huge but they were both pressed up against her.

Brenda could barely move.

She looked at the clock on the wall.

She hadn't heard from Christian all day.

She wondered why he hadn't call.

She looked up at the ceiling.

This obviously wasn't going to work.

She just wasn't sleepy.

She managed to get out of bed, without disturbing Belle and Brayden.

She decided to go downstairs, and get something to drink.

As Brenda approached the kitchen she heard some fumbling.

It was probably Taylor or Miss Thomas.

If not them…a burglar.

She chuckled.

That would never happen on Taylor's watch.

She walked into the kitchen and found Christian sitting at the counter eating.

She was ecstatic but didn't want him to know.

She smiled. "Hey."

He looked over his shoulder. "Hey."

"What are you doing here?"

"We just got back together, I didn't want to be away from you for two days. So, as soon as we were done for the day, I headed back. Did you miss me?"

She walked past him. "Not really."

He laughed.

She opened the refrigerator, grabbed a bottle water, and took a sip.

He turned in his seat, reached over, grabbed her by the shirt, and pulled her over. "You're not happy to see me?"

"A little."

He knew she was lying but he'd play along. "A little?"

"Ok, I'm lying...actually a lot. I missed you like crazy."

"You should have called and told me, I would have left even earlier."

He took the bottle out of her hands and sat it on the counter. "Did you really miss me?"

She nodded. "I told you...like crazy. I don't want to be separated from you right now. We've wasted too much time...being separated. I just want to be together. I want to touch you anytime I want. I haven't been able to do that."

"Brenda, that's a lie. You have always been able to do whatever you want to me. I haven't been able to do what I want, but you could. It's always been on you. From day one."

"Well, I want you."

"Today?"

"Forever. I love you, Christian. Every part of you, even the parts that are closed off to me."

"Brenda, are you on birth control?"

"I tell you I love you, and you ask me if I'm on birth control. Well, Grey, I guess it is good thing you have been cumming everywhere except inside of me."

"You really should get some. Unless you would like to have another baby? And if you do then we should talk."

"No, I don't."

"I could call a doctor and she can be here tomorrow."

"I told you, I am not using your doctor. I still prefer going to the hospital like everyone else. I just would love to know what kind of women you were dating, and why on earth did they feel comfortable with that?"

"I never dated them."

"Ok, whatever seen."

"Regular ones."

"Yeah, regular. What did they act like? Look like?"

"They didn't look like you."

"Well, what then?"

"Brunettes, slim, not attractive, but not unattractive either."

"So, basically they were all like the one-"

She stopped.

Leila, the girl that was with him the first time she saw him.

The one who took Brayden.

The one who was dead now.

Christian knew what she was thinking. "Forget her."

She continued. "What kind of personalities did they have?"

"They were just regular women."

"Did you like them?"

"Yes, but not like you."

"I bet they worshiped you and did whatever you wanted them to. You're hot, rich, and you are amazing in bed. Not only that you were interested in them. I'm sure they were jumping at the chance for you to tie them up, beat them, and see your doctors."

"I'm not cruel. I never beat anyone."

"I apologize...spank."

He gripped her rear. "If you ever gave it a chance, truly gave it a chance you'd love it."

"Grey, are you still trying to make me your submissive?"

"No, I'll take you anyway I can have you, but I would love to have control over every part of you. Your mind and your body. From the top of your head to the bottoms of those beautiful feet."

"I wouldn't want lines to get blurred."

"They wouldn't. What we do during our playtime, is separate from our everyday. Playing in our bed would be off limits."

"So, you'd have to turn one of the rooms into a playroom?"

"Are you agreeing?"

"No, I'm just asking questions."

"I think you are interested."

His eyes were dancing now.

There was a different kind of excitement in them.

"I don't know, Grey."

She had been in his playroom at his penthouse before.

It was so intimidating.

"I don't know if I'm truly ready to tangle with dominant Christian. I don't even think I'm equipped."

"You are...more than anyone. Was it...terrible the last time you were in there?"

"No, but I also realize you were holding back. I think we should work on this relationship first. We haven't been back together two full days yet, and you're already trying to tie me up."

He smiled. "Ok, you have a point."

"I know. Don't I always?"

He stood up, emptied his plate, and placed it inside the dishwasher.

With no warning he picked her up and threw her across his shoulder.

She giggled. "Christian, maybe we shouldn't have sex until I get my IUD?"

"No, we are having sex, I'll just cum in your mouth."

She slapped him on his back. "You are so gross!"

"It's not gross, it is the truth."

She grinned. "It's not polite talk, Christian."

"I'm not polite."

He took the stairs two at a time.

He opened the door to their bedroom. "Why didn't you tell me we had visitors?"

"It slipped my mind. I guess no sex tonight."

"This house has more than one bedroom."

He took her out, closing the door behind them.

They ended up in one of the other bedrooms down the hall.

He threw her down on the bed, and quickly flipped her over onto her stomach.

Brenda burst into laughter. "Christian!"

She felt his hands on her shorts pulling them off and him pushing one of her legs up and off to the side.

She had the case of the giggles and couldn't stop laughing.

She heard him fumbling with his belt.

"May...I...please have...some...foreplay?!"

"We've been having foreplay for the last year and a half. How many times did I have to sleep down the hall? That was foreplay."

And with that he entered her.

She gasped and grabbed a fist full of the comforter. "Ugh! Damn you, Christian! Aaaah..."

He collapsed on top of her, linking his fingers with hers, and driving his body deep into hers.

His hips...grinding, twisting, sinking...deeper and deeper...

Christian moved down her body and latched onto her love, dipping his tongue...in a mix of her...and him.

She sighed and felt him moving back up, running his tongue up her spine.

He moved next to her and kissed her hard.

She could taste him...and her own juices on his tongue.

Just as she had so many times before.

He kissed her nose. "You really should get some birth control, or we are going to have a...what should we name our next child?"

Brenda grinned. "If it is a boy, Cameron, Chase...Christopher?"

He laughed. "C's now?"

"Yes, why not?"

"Brenda, do you want another child?"

"I do...one day, but we should take it slow. We need to take this slow. We have to learn how to make us work. We are good at having sex and children, but we suck at everything else."

"Recently it's been you sucking. Make a doctor's appointment, because I am not going to stop f*cking you and I'm not using a condom."

"I will."

He leaned over and started sucking on her neck.

"Christian, maybe we should try not having sex. Maybe that would help strengthen our relationship?"

He looked up at her. "Have I ever told you how..." He kissed her. "...beautiful your mouth is? These lips...so soft."

"I...don't know...probably."

"It is a beautiful mouth. It's just the sh*t that comes out of it sometimes. I will never ever understand, how a mouth can be so beautiful, but spew such sh*t. I don't know if you heard me, but we are not going to stop having sex. In fact, just for saying...no even thinking we should, we are going to f*ck again...and again...and again."

"God, Christian, make love. No woman wants to be f*cked."

"Bullsh*t."

She grinned.

She knew that was a lie when she said it. "Ok, maybe, but can't you just say make love."

"Flip onto your stomach."

"If you insist."

He moved behind her, pulled her cheeks apart, and shoved his tongue up her a**hole.

"Aaaah..." She closed her eyes.

He lifted his head. "Your a** is perfect."

He took his finger and pushed it in...

They are sitting in bed eating ice cream.

Christian fed her some.

Brenda touched his nose. "Are you trying to make me fat?"

"Of course not."

"I don't believe you. Whether you are or aren't, I don't want anymore. My metabolism isn't as fast as it used to be. I have to watch what I eat, because I think I'm going to start taking modeling jobs again. I miss it."

"Belle is too young to leave."

"She can come with me. I'll take the nanny with me, so she'll be fine. Brayden can stay here with you, Taylor, and Miss Thomas."

"How often will you be gone?"

"Maybe once a month?"

"How long will these trips last?"

"I guess it depends on the job."

"Brenda, we are just getting back together. I don't think we should be separated right now. Didn't you just say that downstairs?"

"I'm not saying tomorrow, maybe in a couple of months, and you work Christian."

"I can't stop you, I'm just telling you how I feel."

She grinned. "You can't stop me?"

"I don't have any control over you. That frustrates the hell out of me, but it's the truth. You know I need it, but I can't let the need push you away. You are already on your mark, as it is."

"That's not funny."

"Wasn't meant to be, it's the truth."

He sat the bowl of ice cream on the nightstand.

He ran a thumb across her cheek and stared into her eyes.

He looked as if he wanted to say something.

She smiled. "I love you."

He leaned over and kissed her. "I missed you."

"I know. My vagina is getting quite the work out. I might have to get stitches."

"I haven't ripped her have I?"

She laughed. "I hope not."

"I'll check."

He pushed her back onto the bed.

She laughed.

He opened her legs wide.

She giggled. "Christian!"

He looked up at her. "It looks fine. Nothing's torn."

She looked down at him. "I'm relieved."

"I think I need to check the inside."

He took two fingers and pushed them inside of her.

She closed her eyes and inhaled.

He moved them in and out. "It feels fine. How does it feel to you?"

She moaned. "Fine."

He removed his fingers and licked them. "Tastes fine. Looks fine. You're fine."

"Thank you for that examination."

"You are welcome."

He leaned down and gave her button a quick hard suck.

She arched her back. "Oooooh."

He moved next to her. "Just a kiss good night."

He noticed her eyes getting red. "You look tired, Baby."

She yawned. "I am."

He pulled her closer. "Go to sleep."

"Yes, Sir." She snuggled up against him. "Grey, we have been having a lot of sex."

"Just making up for lost time."

She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes.…"

It's early the next morning.

Brenda woke up before Christian which hardly ever happened when they were together.

She checked on the kids.

They were still sleeping.

She returned to her place in bed beside Christian.

She watched him for a while.

He looked tired.

She had been such a big idiot.

At no point did she ever stop loving or wanting him, even when she tried to convince herself that she didn't anymore.

At least he never gave up on them and she never would again.

Yes, he was as complicated as any man she had ever known, but he had been more devoted to her, than anyone had ever been in her life.

She didn't deserve him or his devotion.

She knew that.

She abandoned him after they thought they'd lost Brayden.

He still took her back, only to be pushed away again.

He stayed patient.

He gave her space.

He gave her what he thought she needed.

She removed her shorts and panties.

He was still naked from last night.

She moved up under the covers, climbed on top of him, and started kissing his neck.

He was ready, she could feel him pressed up against her.

She shifted her hips, and slowly took him fully inside of her body.

Christian moaned and grabbed her rear spreading her cheeks wide.

That sent him deeper, causing her to gasp.

"Ooooh...Christian."

He pushed his hips up, sinking even deeper into her, while gripping each cheek, and holding them apart.

Their lips joined, their tongues intertwined...her hips...his hips...moving...

Brenda buried her face in his neck and collapsed against him.

Christian kissed the top of her head. "We have to get you in shape."

She lifted her head and grinned. "F*cking shape?"

He burst into laughter. "If that's what you would like to call it. Brenda, you have to get some birth control."

"I know, Grey. Maybe, I should get a plan B?"

"Oh f*ck, you will definitely end up pregnant."

"It will work this time, no way I'm in the two percent again and I'm going to call my doctor for an appointment today."

She moved off him and threw on her panties and shorts. "I need to shower before the kids get up, and what about the meeting today in New York?"

"I'll be attending through video chat. I have a couple of hours."

She nodded.

She opened the door and was just about to leave when she stopped and turned.

"Why didn't you just give up on me? No one would blame you if you had. Not even me."

Christian sat up. "I want what I want and I've wanted you since the first moment I laid eyes on you. I haven't needed a lot in life, but I need you."

"Thanks."

He was confused. "For what?"

"Not giving up."

She left...

Brenda had a busy day, she started the task of moving her and the kids' things out of her house.

Well, Miss Thomas started the task.

She hired someone to do it for her.

She manage to get a doctor's appointment, and an IUD, which worked as soon as you put it in.

She also picked Tango up from the groomers and finally she took the kids over to Diana's for a playdate.

It was her idea.

She was desperate to see David and she finally got her wish.

He walked in smiling and looking like the liar he was.

He played with the kids briefly, hugged Diana, said hello to Brenda, then went outside to take a phone call.

Diana kept looking outside. "He is always on the phone now."

Brenda rolled her eyes. "Really?"

"Yes, he's always busy. I'm so proud of him, he works hard."

Brenda wanted to blurt out. (Yeah, at cheating)

Diana stood up. "Are you thirsty?"

Brenda nodded. "Yeah, sure."

"What would you like?"

"Just bring whatever you have."

She waited until Diana was gone, made sure the kids were fine, and walked outside.

David told the person on the phone, that he'd have to call them back.

Brenda looked out at the landscape. "What are you doing, David?"

"Excuse me?"

She looked at him. "I saw you, with that woman. The brunette and it was not Diana."

He looked as if he was going to piss on himself.

He looked inside. "Brenda, it's none of your business."

"She is my best friend. It is my business."

"No, it is not. How long have you been back together with Christian? Two hours? I think you should concentrate on your own relationship."

"You're right I should, but Diana loves you. She believes in you. What you are doing is wrong. She is a good person. She is devoted to you, David."

He looked inside of the house again, making sure Diana wasn't around, then looked at Brenda. "Brenda, this has nothing to do with you."

"You are really messing up. If she finds out, she will be crushed. You are everything to her. She believes in you."

"Brenda, mind your damn business."

"F*ck you, your wife is my business."

Diana walked out of the house. "What are you two whispering about?"

David smiled. "I was trying to get Brenda to tell me what you have in store for my birthday."

Brenda wanted to slap him and tell Diana everything.

Diana kissed him. "She wouldn't dare and it is a secret."

"Yes, David, it is a secret."

Brenda excused herself and went back inside the house...

"I can't believe he told me to mind my damn business? What am I supposed to do pretend as if I didn't see anything?"

Brenda and Christian are soaking in the tub.

"Yes, Brenda. It is none of your business, and I don't want to have to beat David's a**, so stay out of it."

Brenda turned. "Would you really beat his a**?"

"Yes, if he gets out of line with you."

She giggled. "I don't want you to do that, although someone should. Pig."

"I don't want to talk about them, we need to focus on us."

"Yeah, I know." She leaned back against his chest. She should just tell Diana. She deserved to know. She hated David for putting her in this position. Hurt her friend or lie.

"Brenda?"

"Hmmm?"

"Stop thinking about it. Let's talk about something else. Anything."

There was something she always wanted to ask him. "Christian, you said you were in a very dark place, when I left, after we thought Brayden...after he was taken. I don't know what happened with you."

"There really isn't much to tell. Brayden was gone and then you left too. You not only left but you were living with another man. That almost drove me insane. I wanted to make you come back. Beat his a** and make you come back, but you were so fragile. I told you this, but after Brayden left, it's like you-"

She finished his thought. "Lost my mind? I did. I had no idea how to ease the pain."

"I just knew I had to back off. I wasn't happy about it. I missed you. I worked a lot, I worked out more than I ever had. I was not a joy to be around or work with. I guess I'm never a joy to be around to some."

"How long before you started seeing Cara?"

"I told you around the time you moved with J-" Christian couldn't even say his name. "That blonde b*tch. The thought of another man touching you almost made me lose my mind."

"We didn't have sex."

"Yeah, but he held you at night. He kissed you. You were my wife."

"I'm not happy knowing you were with someone else. I don't blame you, it was my fault. I left. I shouldn't have. I guess our vows have been broken."

"No, you didn't love Jax."

"You said his name, I am impressed."

"You shouldn't be."

She turned and looked into his eyes. "Did you love, Cara?"

Christian touched her nose. "I don't believe in love remember?"

"Right."

He kissed her.

She broke the kiss. "And you don't believe in romance either, but you have done a lot of romantic things for me. You bought me Tango, you purchased the rental truck for me. A truck we still have. You whisked me away to Las Vegas to get married, and it was not some cheesy wedding. It was exceptional. So, I don't really believe you when you say you don't believe in something. Except making love, now that I believe."

He laughed.

She ran her fingers through his hair. "Did you think about me, when you were with her?"

"Did you think about me when you were with...him?"

"Yes, all the time. Maybe, that's why I couldn't have sex with him. I loved you."

"That does not make me feel better. He still had his hands all over you and don't lie and say he didn't. Maybe you didn't f*ck him, but I'm sure you did everything else."

She didn't deny it.

They slept in the same bed.

Things happened.

"I am not dumb, Brenda. Give me some credit."

"I know you are not. At least you were not here pining away after me. You had someone."

"Are you serious? I didn't want her, I wanted you. I thought about you every f*cking day. I was miserable."

Brenda knew she should not have said that. "I'm sorry."

"You should be for saying that sh*t."

He stood up.

Brenda moved back. "Are you leaving?"

"Yes."

He got out of the tub, grabbed a towel, and left.

She leaned back. "Well, that went well…"

It's the next day.

Brenda is sitting on the floor in the theatre room, taping up boxes.

She was sending Julia and the kids some things.

They were always sending each other gifts.

Maybe they were making up for all of the years they were not close.

Christian was sitting in one of the seats reading.

The kids were playing in the yard with Miss Thomas and Taylor.

Brenda really wanted to talk about what happened last night.

He was gone when she got out of the tub and she ended up falling asleep before he returned.

"Christian, I think we should talk about what happened last night."

"No, you just pissed me off, when you implied that I was somehow fine because I had someone. You can't be replaced."

"Neither can you."

Christian stood up and walked over to her. "Let's not dwell on it. It's done, just don't say that sh*t again."

He leaned down and picked up a roll of duct tape. It was in the box of supplies she was using.

"You know, there are so many useful ways to use duct tape."

She smiled. "Really?"

He kissed her neck.

She squirmed. "Please enlighten me."

He looked at her with raised brows. "Really?"

"Yes, tell me Christian Starr."

"I'll show you."

She watched him walk over and lock the door.

He turned. "Take your panties off."

"Now?"

"Right now."

"You cannot be serious? I'm busy, Grey."

"You are taping a damn box."

"Yes, I am, which equates to being busy."

"Just take off your panties."

"No, please?"

"What the f*ck is up with you and this please sh*t?"

"It's called being polite. If you want me to take off my panties, please is the magic word. You like red, I like please."

He knew she was just trying to be difficult.

He shook his head. "Ok, goddamn it please."

She stood up, reached up under her dress, and removed them.

Christian walked behind her and kissed her neck.

He pulled her arms behind her back.

She heard the duct tape then felt it being wrapped around her wrists.

He took her over to the sofa pushed her thighs together and taped them.

Brenda laughed. "Are you really taping my thighs together? I never thought you would do that. Tape them open maybe."

He kissed her. "Shhh..."

After securing her thighs, he went to work on her ankles.

"Christian, I think we are definitely making up for lost time."

"Shhh, Baby."

He stood up and started getting undressed...

Christian grabbed the scissors and cut her wrists free and carefully removed the tape.

He did the same for her thighs and ankles.

Brenda rubbed her wrists. "Do you just make these things up?"

He grinned and started dressing.

Brenda picked up her panties. "What just happened?"

"Something great."

Brenda didn't think some of the positions he put her in, were even possible, because her thighs and ankles were bound, but Christian knew what he was doing.

The key was making sure she was able to bend her knees.

He sat on the sofa and held her up, while burying himself deep inside her. Everything was heightened, because she couldn't move.

She could only feel, as he moved her from one position to the next.

She never thought she would be interested in being tied up like an animal, but she had to admit, it made the sex even better.

If that was possible?

Who in the hell was she married to?

"Christian, do you miss your playroom?"

"Sometimes."

"I can tell. Do you miss your submissives?"

"No."

"Not even a little?"

"No. You are the only woman I want in my life, in my bed, and I want you every day."

She believed him...

They started their therapy sessions the next week.

They were still trying to learn how to deal with each other.

How to communicate better.

Brenda thought the root of Christian's problems, started with his mother, and he didn't disagree.

She really wanted him to learn more about her, and for him to accept that she wasn't the best mother, but maybe it was because of her own past.

Christian was not interested in that.

He wouldn't listen when it came to giving his mother any type of break, or trying to understand.

That's why Brenda took it upon herself to find out more about her.

When the time was right she would give him the information.

Information she didn't have yet…..

Over the next few months things had gotten better...stronger between them.

She moved back into the main house.

Christian was happy they were all living up under the same roof, so was she.

His family was ecstatic when they learned they were back together.

Julia was also happy.

She had been a fan of Christian's ever since Brenda's breakdown.

She saw firsthand how much he loved her.

She was just wondering what took her so long…

They are at his family's house for the weekly family dinner.

Carrick and Brenda were making small talk.

Well, not exactly small talk, he was giving her one of his lectures.

"I know Christian can be difficult-"

Brenda added. "So can I."

"I'm sure, but I what I'm trying to say is, he loves you. Don't give up on him. He has a lot of demons. He's trying to deal with them."

"I have my own, Mr. Grey. We've both made mistakes. I more than anyone."

Carrick smiled and nodded. "You are great for each other. Sorry, it took me awhile to see it."

She returned his smile. "You were always respectful, and he is your son, it is your job to be concerned."

She looked across the room at Christian. He was talking to Mia, who was holding Belle.

Brayden was following Elliott around.

Brayden thought he was the coolest person ever.

Christian's eyes fell on her.

He gave her a quick nod and left the room.

She excused herself and followed him.

He was waiting by the staircase for her.

"What do you want, Grey?"

He grabbed her hand and took her upstairs.

They ended up in his old room.

Christian sat down on the bed.

Brenda looked around.

She'd been in his room several times, but she never really got the chance to look around, because they were usually fighting.

This was one of the only times they were not.

He read a lot, that's the first thing she noticed.

There were a number of books on an assortment of topics.

That did not shock her.

He was extremely smart and well versed in a lot of subjects.

He reminded her of Jax.

She would never tell him that, he'd flip out.

She continued to take in his room.

Surprisingly, it was like any other teen room in America, excluding the types of books he read.

She took a book off the shelf. "Christian, were you an only child?"

"As far as I know. Why do you ask?"

"I was just wondering."

Brenda had recently come across some information.

Turns out, it was possible that he had a sibling.

A biological sister, younger than he was.

She didn't just come across that information. She got the first man she ever married to use his connections to find out for her.

Jason Morgan

Her hitman ex-husband.

The husband she never slept with.

He was surprised to hear from her even though he didn't sound happy.

She knew he was happy.

He answered on the first ring. "What do you want, Brenda?"

"Hello, ex-husband."

"What do you want? Are you in trouble?"

"No, I'm not in trouble."

"Well, what do you want? I know you must want something. I know you didn't call just to talk. Spit it out, Brenda."

"Don't you want to know how I'm doing?"

"Not really."

"Oh, yes you do. You know you miss me."

"I don't have time for this, what do you want?"

"I need a favor."

"No."

"I really need a favor, Jason."

"No, I am all out of favors."

"I'll pay you."

"I have money I don't need yours."

"This is honest money. You won't even have to murder anyone."

"Goodbye, Brenda."

"Jason, please! You are the only person I can trust. Please."

He had no intention of hanging up.

Jason sighed. "What is the favor?"

She explained everything to him.

After a little more begging, he agreed to help.

A couple of weeks later he was calling with information and it was a bombshell.

Christian just might not be an only child.

They were not positive, but she should receive the final word any day now.

Brenda knew she was taking a big chance doing this, because Christian would probably be pissed.

No, he would definitely be pissed, but he had to face his past head on, because he was still carrying that baggage.

It was weighing him down.

"Mrs. Grey, are you ignoring me?"

Brenda placed the book back on the shelf. "No, I wasn't ignoring you, just admiring your taste in books."

She walked up to him.

"You have my undivided attention."

"What were you and my father talking about?"

"That is between us." She ran her fingers through his thick hair. "Grey, I would love it if you bought me flowers."

"What?"

She repeated herself. "Flowers."

"You told me you didn't like flowers"

"I changed my mind."

"Of course."

"I want you to pick them out, don't have your secretary do it for you."

"I don't know anything about flowers. You know I don't do hearts, flowers, and candy."

"I am not a tie me up and bang me kind of girl either."

"Brenda, I don't know anything about flowers."

"I'm ok with that. You choosing them will make it extra special. I don't care what kind you get."

"Brenda, you are so f*cking needy."

"So are you, Mr. let me tie you up and screw you. And how often do we have sex? I'll answer for you…almost every day. Except when it's that time of the month, but if you had it your way, there would be no breaks. You...are the needy one."

"Ok, I stand corrected, but I'm just making up for lost time. I'm trying to overdose on your p*ssy."

Brenda shook her head. "Vagina. Please, Christian."

He grabbed her hand. "Are you happy?"

"Yes." She ran a thumb across his lips. "Where did that come from?"

"Are you really happy?"

"Yes, I am."

"I am too. That worries me, because it seems as if every time we are happy something happens."

Brenda thought about the secret she was keeping.

"Brenda?"

She looked down at him.

He was still sitting on the bed.

"Where did you go?"

"Nowhere."

He stood up. "Like hell."

She looked up at him. "I didn't go...anywhere."

"Brenda, stop lying."

"Christian, I didn't go anywhere. I am totally focused on us and making us solid."

"Yeah...I hope so."

"I am."

She grabbed his hand. "They are probably waiting on us."

He nodded and they headed back downstairs.

Christian didn't believe her.

She was keeping something from him.

He was very good at reading people.

She was lying...

It's later and they are back home…in bed.

Christian is being unusually quiet.

Brenda turned to face him. "Are you ok?"

"No, I think you were lying earlier. What were you thinking about?"

"Really, Christian?"

"Really, Brenda. Don't treat me like I'm f*cking stupid. I could see it in your eyes."

"I know you are not stupid."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm not going to argue with you."

She turned her back to him.

"We are not done, Brenda."

"I am."

"Don't f*cking turn your back on me."

"You don't tell me what to do, and I am going to sleep."

Christian got up and left.

As soon as the door closed Brenda started to feel guilty.

He was right, she was lying.

It's not his fault he could sense it.

She got out of bed because she needed to make this right.

She headed downstairs to the piano room.

She opened the door.

He stopped playing and spun around.

She spoke before he could.

"I'm sorry, you were right. I did go...somewhere and I'll tell you all about it, when the time is right. Ok."

"What is it, Brenda?"

"When the time is right. It involves us and making us solid. Ok?"

"Brenda, am I going to be pissed?"

"I hope not. Please, Baby, trust me."

"I guess…I'll just have to."

She nodded. "Thank you, and I promise I'll tell you…when the time is right."

She ran her hand across the piano keys. "Play something for me."

"What would you like me to play?"

"It doesn't matter. Play whatever you like."

She sat down on the stool and he turned around.

He started to play.

As soon as he started to play her mouth fell open.

She knew the song.

She once told him how much she loved it.

It was, "The Way We Were."

She could not hold back her tears.

He learned the song for her.

She tried to stay as quiet as possible as his fingers moved with ease across the keys.

It was the most beautiful version she'd heard, because it was coming from him.

She could hardly sit still.

She was overcome with emotion.

Even though she knew he loved her, she would sometimes question it.

Mostly because he never said the words.

She knew it was the way he treated her that mattered, but sometimes she longed to hear him say them.

And then he would do something like this.

He probably never would tell her he loved her, but he did…without a doubt.

He played the final note and looked over at her.

She tried to wipe her face before he could see the tears.

He removed her hand and ran his thumb across her damp cheeks. "You liked it?"

"Of...course...I did. It was great. Sometimes you leave me speechless, Grey. You really do."

He stood up, leaned down, and kissed the top of her head. "Let's go to bed."

He grabbed her hand and pulled her to her feet.

She wiped her eyes.

He picked her up, threw her across his shoulder, and carried her up to bed...

Brenda is in Christian's arms.

She looked up at him.

His eyes were closed.

She kissed his neck. "Are you asleep?"

"Not yet."

"Are you tired?"

He yawned. "Not tired, just sleepy."

"Is there a difference?"

"Yes, you can be tired but not sleepy."

She agreed. "Yeah, I guess you are right. Do you ever get tired?"

"Everyone does."

"You hardly show it. You are always busy doing something."

"I like being busy."

"How do you find the energy?"

"I can still remember how I felt when I didn't have anything. It drives me. Have you ever been hungry and didn't have food to eat?"

"No."

"I have and I will always remember that feeling. I don't take anything for granted. None of us should."

She lifted her head and planted a kiss on his lips. "No, we should not. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, Baby…"

It's the next day and Brenda is on the way to meet a friend.

She was running a little late.

She rushed inside the restaurant, spotted him, and walked up to the table.

Josh stood up. "Brenda."

She smiled. "Josh, hi."

They embraced and he pulled out her seat.

She thanked him and sat down.

"I was shocked when you called. Does your husband know you are meeting me?"

"Actually, he doesn't, but I'll tell him. I am really sorry about what happened."

"Don't be. The fight was fair, and I lost. Brenda, you don't have to apologize every time you see me."

"Ok."

"Can't believe you are a mother of two now. You are still just as beautiful as the day I first laid eyes on you."

"Thanks, you look as handsome as ever. How is everything?"

"It's great. How is your family?"

"They are fine."

"Now, what can I help you with?"

"How long has David been cheating on Diana?"

Josh shifted in his seat. "You don't waste any time."

"No, I don't. She is one of my best friends, Josh."

"Brenda, he is one of my best friends."

"I know, and I don't want to put you in this position. I know it's awkward. I just don't understand. Diana is a sweetheart. She loves him."

"I know. I am very fond of her. She is a great person. I just can't get involved."

"But Josh, you have to talk to him. This will destroy her if she ever found out, and I feel terrible because I know."

"How did you find out?"

"I saw him standing on a sidewalk with his mistress."

Josh dropped his head. "If I were you, I would just stay out of it."

"She is my friend."

"I know. Brenda, I just can't. He is my friend."

"I just want you to talk to him."

"We shouldn't even be talking about this. It's wrong, I feel like I am betraying him."

"Josh, he is betraying his wife."

"I know, but I just…look Brenda, I shouldn't even be talking to you about this."

Brenda was beyond frustrated.

She was getting nowhere.

She was not upset with him.

He wasn't cheating on her friend.

"Ok, Josh. Well, thanks for meeting me."

Brenda prepared to leave.

"Brenda, I've tried to talk to him. He won't listen. He has everything. The greatest wife and child. I hate what he is doing. I hurt a very good person when I cheated. I suffered after I lost her. I just don't want it to happen to him. He says he loves her. He just needs variety."

"Variety? That son of a b*tch."

"From an ex son of a b*tch, I'm hoping he wises up."

Brenda and Josh talked until she just had to leave.

She promised Brayden she would take him toy shopping…...

Brenda and the kids are just returning home.

They were greeted by Christian when they drove up.

He kissed Brenda and Belle then disappeared with Brayden.

Belle was a little cranky.

She was probably just tired and needed a nap.

Brenda took her into the living room, held her close, and started singing to her.

She was no Christian but Belle didn't seem to mind.

Christian stood in the doorway and looked at his two favorite females.

Brenda turned. "Are you spying?"

"No, admiring."

"Where is Brayden?"

"Playing in his room. She is out."

"She was a little grouchy."

"She was just tired."

Brenda needed to tell him where she had been earlier. So, she just blurted it out.

"Christian, I met Josh today. David's best man."

"Why?"

"Because I wanted to see if he could talk some sense into David."

"Brenda, just stay out of it…sh*t. It is not any of your business."

"She is my friend. You know she is wondering why they haven't been spending time together. I want to tell her, but I don't want to hurt her. She is making excuses for him. She thinks he is just working."

"Baby, just let it go. At this point our only concern is us and our children. We can't worry about another relationship, when ours is so f*cking challenging."

"You're right. I know I shouldn't get involved. I guess I'll just have to try to stay out of it, as hard as that is going to be."

"No, you won't."

"I will try my best, because we do have our own issues. Issues that we can get through as long as you aren't cheating on me. Would you tell me if you wanted someone else?"

"No, I'd just do it."

Christian was over this conversation. "Goodbye, Brenda. Please, make sure you are dressed by seven."

He left.

She totally forgot about the hospital event they were going to that night.

His mother invited them.

Brenda really didn't want to go.

She wanted to find David and beat his cheating a**.

That's what she wanted to do…

They are at the hospital function and Brenda is sitting at their table alone.

She had enough of smiling and making small talk.

She was just not in the mood for a party.

She wanted to go home.

She had never been to so many functions in her life.

Even when they were not together, she was always being invited to something.

Mia spotted her and sat down next to her. "I wish I was home, in bed, with a bowl of ice cream."

Brenda grinned. "You and me both."

Mia pointed to Christian, who was busy talking to a group of people. "Christian is like a machine. I don't know where he finds the energy."

"Me either."

"How are things between you two? If you don't mind me asking."

"I don't mind."

"I'm not trying to be nosy, I just love you both. I wouldn't dare ask Christian. He would lose it. He has always been so private."

"I know and I don't think you are being nosy, but we are fine. We are committed to making it work."

"You know…we never saw him with anyone before you. I thought he was gay."

Brenda laughed. "The first time I saw him he was with a girl."

"Really?"

"Yes, but I don't think it was serious."

"Oh, but I knew there was something special about you. First of all, he never brought anyone around. That was the first clue."

Brenda laughed. "Your brother is different."

"That he is. Brenda, can I share something with you?"

Brenda looked at her. "Yeah, sure."

"I haven't told anyone. I have someone that I'm serious about."

"Really, who is he?" Brenda looked around. "Is he here?"

Mia was visibly nervous. "No, he isn't here."

"What's his name? What does he do?"

"He is a football player."

"Oh, ok. Professional?"

Mia nodded.

Brenda asked another question. "Who does he play for?"

"Atlanta."

"I know someone who plays for Atlanta."

"I know."

Brenda looked at Mia, who was avoiding all eye contact.

Her mouth fell open. "You and Josh?"

"Please, don't say anything to Christian."

Brenda burst into laughter.

Mia grabbed her arm. "Brenda, please."

"I am just shocked, but I would never tell a soul."

Mia let out a sigh of relief.

It felt great telling someone.

"I have been hiding this for a very long time. I know how Christian feels about him."

"He is fine, that was a long time ago."

Mia stood up. "Elena, hi."

Brenda had no idea she would be there, but she was friends with the Greys.

Elena and Mia embraced.

Brenda didn't move.

Elena looked down at her. "Hello, Brenda."

She threw her hand up. "Hello."

Elena knew Brenda couldn't stand her so after saying hello she continued on her way.

Mia sat back down. "You don't like her."

She wasn't really asking a question. She was making a statement.

"I don't know her."

Mia smirked. "You know she has a thing for Christian."

"So, you are not oblivious to that?"

"No, but he isn't interested."

Brenda looked at Elena. "No, he isn't, but that doesn't stop her from being interested in him." She looked Elena up and down. She was wearing a black floor length gown. It was gorgeous. "The b*tch has great taste in clothes."

Mia laughed. "Some say the same thing about you."

Brenda looked over at her. "And you too. I guess we all have something in common. Now, back to Josh. How-"

Christian walked up to the table.

He grabbed Brenda's hand and pulled her to her feet.

Mia was slightly annoyed. "Hey, we were talking."

"Find someone else to talk to."

Mia frowned. "Christian, you are so rude."

He ignored her and pulled Brenda to the dance floor.

He pulled her close and whispered in her ear. "What were you two talking about?"

"None of your business. I think sometimes you forget I am not your submissive."

"I haven't forgotten. How could I? You remind me each and every f*cking day."

She giggled because he was telling the truth. "Yeah, I do, don't I? And why are you so nosy?"

He planted a kiss on her neck. "I like to know. I saw you talking to Elena."

She corrected him. "No, you saw Mia talking to Elena."

"My mistake. Have I told you how f*cking sexy you look tonight?"

"You just did."

His lips brushed her neck again. "You smell nice."

"You look nice. I love watching you work a room."

He blew on her neck. "Did it turn you on?"

"If it did, what are you prepared to do about it?"

"F*ck you until you pass out."

She laughed. "You are so romantic, Grey."

"I know."

She looked up into his eyes. "Do you ever get tired of going to all of these functions?"

"No, I am use to it. These functions support a lot of charities. I am all for giving back."

"I love giving back, as in writing a check, or interacting with the people that need it. I am sick of these parties."

He looked down at her. "You don't have to come to everything I attend. I don't mind."

"Go ahead and say it, I'm selfish."

"No, you are just tired. We have two children that you chase after all day. You are not selfish. Closing you're a** off to me, now that is selfish."

She grinned. "You are gross."

He pulled her closer.

She touched his cheek. "Baby, what time are we leaving?"

He questioned her. "Now?"

She nodded. "Please."

He led her off the dancefloor.

They spoke briefly with his parents and left.

They are alone on the elevator.

It was a glass elevator and you could see the whole city.

They had been in this building and on this elevator before, but they were fighting then.

Back when things were different.

Now, his fingers were linked with hers.

They were solid.

But were they really?

Brenda couldn't help but feel guilty.

She couldn't help but think about the lies she was telling.

She was looking into his mother's past.

If he found out, when he found out, he would be livid.

She looked over at him.

Was she making a big mistake?

Maybe, she should just call Jason and tell him to stop.

Things were great.

She didn't want to do anything to ruin it.

She'd already put him through a lot.

The bell went off and the doors opened.

She would call Jason tomorrow and call everything off.

It was for the best…

PART 2

Brenda received a text early the next morning.

It was from Diana.

She was coming over.

She said she needed to talk to her.

Diana must have been on her way when she sent that text, because thirty minutes later she was ringing their doorbell.

After getting the kids settled at the table for breakfast, they went into the playroom.

As soon as Brenda closed the door, Diana burst into tears.

Brenda rushed over to her. "Oh my God, what's wrong?!"

"It's David."

"Has he been in an accident? Is he hurt?"

"No."

Brenda felt like a fool. "Of course not, you wouldn't be here if he had. What's wrong?"

Diana pulled away and walked off. "I am so embarrassed and I feel so stupid."

That's when it dawned on Brenda…she knew.

She knew he was cheating.

Diana continued. "I might as well just tell you. David has been cheating on me."

"How did you...find out?"

"Last night he was in the shower, supposedly getting ready to go out with the guys. He left his phone on the counter in the kitchen, it started beeping like crazy. It was getting on my nerves so I picked it up. I was not being nosey, because I trusted him. I only wanted to put it on silent, when I saw the text. It said…baby, where are you? Can you believe that son of a b*tch?"

"I am so sorry, Diana. What did he say when you confronted him?"

"I didn't say a word to him. I followed him. Oh, and they were all over each other. He didn't even notice he was being watched."

"I am so sorry."

"Now I know why we only have sex every once in a while. I wonder if he has been using a condom. That bastard!"

Brenda had to tell her. "Diana, I need to tell you something."

She looked up at Brenda. "What? You didn't know about this did you? Tell me you didn't know."

"I tried to get him to stop."

"You knew?"

"I didn't tell you, because I didn't want to hurt you."

Diana yelled. "You knew?!"

Brenda tried to explain. "Diana, I am so sorry."

"Wow, my best friend knew my son of a b*tch husband was cheating and didn't tell me! How long have you known?!"

"A couple of months, I was hoping he would realize how stupid he was being."

"How did you find out? Did…you…see…them?"

"Yes, one day while riding through town. I wanted to tell you. I just did not want to hurt you."

"When I thought Christian was cheating, I did not hesitate in telling you. I wish you would have shown me that same courtesy."

Diana walked over and snatched the door open.

"Diana, please, I didn't do it to hurt you."

"Save it, Brenda."

Brenda followed her into the kitchen, watched her pick up Ariyanna, and leave.

She didn't want a scene in front of the children so she kept quiet.

Inside she was dying.

Her friend was hurting and there was nothing she could do about it.

Christian walked into the kitchen.

His hair still wet from his shower.

He had just finished a session with his trainer.

As soon as he walked in, he could tell something was wrong.

Brenda's eyes were red.

He looked in Miss Thomas' direction and held up a finger.

He grabbed Brenda by the hand and led her out of the kitchen.

As soon as they were at a safe distance from the kids he stopped and ask her what was wrong.

She threw her arms around his neck and sobbed.

He stroked her hair. "Baby, what's wrong?"

She couldn't get a word out. She was just too upset.

He just held her until she was ready to tell him what was going on.

She eventually pulled away and told him what happened.

He wiped her tears away. "Brenda, she is hurting. She just needs time."

"I should have been honest."

"And then you would have felt responsible. It is not your fault. It is her husband's. I feel like whipping his a** for making you cry."

"I want you to whip his a**."

He smiled.

She sniffled. "No, I don't. He deserves a good a** whipping, but I don't want you to get into trouble. I never would want that."

"I really hate seeing you cry, always have."

"I'll be ok. I am more concerned about Diana."

He kissed her. "We are getting out of this house. We are taking the kids and leaving."

"I don't know, Chr-"

He kissed her again and repeated himself. "We are taking the kids and getting out of this house."

"Christian, stop trying to boss me around. I am not your employee."

He kissed her forehead. "I know, Baby. Let's get the kids, get dressed, and go."

She nodded. "Ok."

"Good girl..."

They didn't get back home till late that night.

It turned out to be a good day, especially for Brayden because Christian took him flying in his helicopter.

Brenda trusted Christian but she was still nervous.

She didn't relax until her baby was back on land.

It was a good distraction.

She was able to concentrate on something besides what happened with Diana.

It's later on that night.

Brenda is in bed thinking about her friend.

Christian was downstairs and hadn't come up yet.

She called Diana a couple of times, but she didn't answer.

She placed her phone on the nightstand and leaned back against the pillow.

Her friend was somewhere hurting, and there wasn't anything she could do about it.

Diana didn't deserve this.

Brenda felt helpless.

She grabbed her phone and dialed another number. "Julia..."

She talked to Julia until Christian walked into the bedroom.

She felt better after talking to her sister, who told her the same thing Christian had.

It was not her fault.

It was David's.

He put her in that position with his lies, she did not betray her friend.

Julia assured her that Diana would come to realize that.

Christian slid in next to her, as she was saying her goodbyes to Julia.

She placed her phone on the nightstand and snuggled up against him.

He kissed the top of her head. "Feeling better?"

"A little."

"Good, are you tired?"

"Are you asking if I have enough energy to open my legs?"

He burst into laughter. "No, Brenda, and I would never ask, I would just open them for you."

"Christian, if I'm not enough for you, will you promise to tell me beforehand."

"Brenda, I'm not discussing that sh*t. You are bringing someone else's baggage into our relationship. I have told you over and over don't do that."

"I just-"

He moved in between her legs. "I am not discussing it."

He clamped his mouth over hers, while hooking a finger inside of her panties, moving them to the side, and entering her.

It was the Christian way.

No warning, no foreplay, just straight to it.

It was one of things that made sex great with him, because of how straight forward he was.

Sex that night was extremely intense.

He was definitely aggravated.

Maybe he was angry because of the cheating question, or maybe he was just being Christian.

Nevertheless, it was another welcomed distraction…

Christian woke up before Brenda.

He watched her for a while, before she stretched, and opened her eyes.

She was exhausted. "What got into you last night?"

"Brenda, you just irritate the f* ck out of me, with that cheating sh*t. Don't I f*ck you like I want you?"

"That doesn't mean anything, you like sex. It's a sport to you."

"Yes, I like sex, but it's better with you. Everything is. Don't ever question how I feel about you."

She nodded. "I'm sorry, you are a freak, but you are not a wh*re."

"No, I'm not. Are we done with this topic?"

"Yes, Sir."

He looked at the clock. "We need to get you showered. I am bringing the spa to you today."

"Really?"

He nodded. "You deserve some you time."

"Yes, I do. Especially after you bent me like a pretzel last night."

He laughed...

They had a full service salon in their house.

Christian thought they needed one, so he had it added, along with a couple of other things.

This was done during the time Brenda was away.

Brenda thought it was a great addition and didn't know why she didn't think of it.

The people from the spa arrived about an hour after breakfast.

Christian and the kids went over to his mother's, leaving Brenda alone.

Brenda wished they would have stayed.

She didn't really want to be alone.

Maybe, because she was used to doing these types of things with Diana.

She undressed and wrapped herself in a towel.

She walked into the massage room and noticed a second table.

An occupied second table.

It was Diana.

Diana sat up. "First, I want to apologize, it is not your fault. You are not my husband. David is…or was."

"Diana, you have to know, I did not mean to hurt you. It was the very thing I was trying to avoid. I did not want to break your heart."

"I believe you. I was just upset."

"I know, who could blame you? Did you and...David talk?"

"No, he still has no idea I know."

Brenda's eyes widen. "What do you mean…he has no idea?"

"I haven't said a word to him and trust me it has not been easy. I plan on telling him tonight at his birthday party."

"What? You are still going through with that?"

"Yes, I am. I have something in store for my soon to be ex-husband. Ariyanna is staying at my parents, so she won't be around. I am going to humiliate him just like he has been humiliating me."

Brenda didn't really think that was a good idea. "Are you sure you want to that?"

"I am positive. Are you still coming? Because I want you there."

"Yeah, sure. If it is what you want."

Diana nodded. "It is."

"Diana, how long have you been here?"

"I got here right before Christian and the kids left. He called and told me what I needed to hear. My husband was the jerk, not you."

"Yes, he is a jerk, but you love him. I know you do. I am so sorry he did this."

"Me too. I never thought he would hurt me like this."

Diana's eyes filled with tears.

Brenda rushed to her side and they embraced...

Christian went to the party with Brenda.

Diana played the role of the loving wife perfectly, until the cake was brought out.

A cake she went and got herself.

The cake was huge.

She had to wheel it out.

After getting a good look at it, they could all see why.

It said: Happy Birthday Cheater, I want a divorce.

Everyone was in shock, especially David.

Gasps could be heard throughout the room.

Diana told everyone, which included all of her family and friends how he'd been cheating on her.

David begged and pleaded for her to hear him out, but Diana didn't want any part of it.

She told him they were over and he was now free to date.

He cried.

Diana didn't.

He was just told to leave and with the help of some family members…he did.

Brenda and Christian stayed well after the party ended.

They wanted to make sure Diana was ok.

She assured them that she was fine.

She had the support of her family and David's.

David's family was very disappointed in him too.

They knew Diana was a good wife.

Her parents, who were taking care of Ariyanna, had already been filled in on everything.

Christian offered to send Diana away.

He told her she could use his jet, and go anywhere in the world…on his dime.

Brenda thought that was really nice of him.

She never expected him to do anything like that.

The only thing she expected him to do, was to stay out of it.

They are in the car headed home.

"Christian, I honestly did not think you cared."

"Brenda, you care a great deal for her. She has been a great friend to you. She didn't deserve that sh*t."

"No, she didn't. Why did you always seem annoyed?"

Christian continued. "You annoyed me more than anything. I don't know how many times you asked me if I cheated…was cheating…wanted to cheat."

"I'm sorry." She reached over and ran her fingers through his hair. "I have never seen you be so sweet."

He chuckled. "Sweet."

"Yes, sweet and it was refreshing and hot. Have I told you how much I love you today?"

"No."

"Well, I do."

She leaned over and kissed his cheek. "You were wonderful…"

It's a couple of weeks later.

Christian is in his office working.

He is on the phone, when Brayden bursts in. "Daddy! I just beat the whole game!"

Christian asked the person on the line to hold.

He placed the phone on mute. "Brayden, that's great, but remember you can't just come in here yelling. I'm working remember?"

"But I beat the whole game."

"That's great…good job. I am so proud of you, but-"

Brenda rushed in.

Her eyes apologizing. "Baby, I'm sorry. Brayden, go back to the playroom."

He looked up at his mother. "I beat the game!"

"Yes, you did, Sweetheart. Good job, but you can't bother your father when he is working."

His eyes darted back to his father. "Sorry."

Christian nodded. "It's ok."

He left.

Brenda walked over to Christian. "I'm sorry, Baby."

"It's fine."

He looked down at the base of the phone. "The son of a b*tch hung up."

"Call them back. They will answer, you are the man with the plan. Again, so sorry."

She kissed him. "I love you."

And walked away.

Christian picked up the phone. "I love you too."

Brenda's heart skipped a beat.

Her knees got weak.

Christian froze as soon as he realized what he'd said. "Brenda-"

She opened the door and rushed out.

As soon as she closed the door, the tears fell one after the other.

Yes, he treated her like he loved her, but hearing him say those three words meant the world to her.

Christian stood up and was just about to go after her, but his phone rung.

His connect was calling back.

"Sh*t!" He picked up the phone. "Grey..."

Brenda knew Christian was dying to talk to her, but she avoided him for the rest of the day.

She took the kids out and didn't return till much later.

She knew he was itching to explain and take it all back, but she didn't want any part of it.

When they returned, Brayden begged Christian to play a game with him, leaving no time for them to talk.

Brenda knew that she would have to talk to him at some point.

She couldn't avoid him forever, but she would try.

That time came later on that night.

After kissing Brayden good night and closing his door, Christian said the words she was dreading.

"Brenda, we need to talk."

She hurried down the hall. "After I shower."

She rushed into the bathroom and locked the door behind her.

Christian tried to open it. "Brenda, open this door."

"No, and I don't want to talk about it, Christian."

"Open the door, or I will kick it in."

She didn't doubt that he wouldn't do it, so she reluctantly opened the door.

He walked in. "Look, about what I said earlier-"

"So, you don't love me?"

"Brenda, that's not what I'm saying. I-"

"You what? Let me ask you a question. Do you have an intense feeling of deep affection for me?"

"What?"

"Do you, Christian Grey, have an intense feeling of deep affection for me?"

"That is a dumb a** question."

"Answer it."

"Of course."

"That is the definition of love. You love me, you have shown me, and today you told me. So, don't come in here trying to take it back, because that will break my heart. Do you really want to do break my heart?"

No, he didn't.

"Enjoy your shower."

She grabbed his hand. "Only if you join me?"

"I can do that..."

It's later and they are in bed.

She ran her fingers through his hair. "You are so pretty. Do you have any idea how pretty you are? Do you ever just look in the mirror and say, damn I'm hot."

"Brenda, I don't care."

"Yes, you do. You have to notice the women watching and some men too."

"Not really. Do you notice?"

She laughed. "No."

"It's because it doesn't matter. At the end of the day it doesn't matter."

"I guess not. I do love looking at you though."

"Likewise, but it's not why I have an intense affection for you."

She giggled. "Say that again."

"I have an intense affection for you."

"I love hearing you say that."

She curled up against him and closed her eyes. "I hope we are always this happy."

"Just do what I say, and we will be."

She grinned and went to sleep….

Brenda and the kids are out walking Tango.

She is pushing Belle in her stroller, while Brayden walked alongside holding Tango's leash.

Her phone rung.

She glanced at the number.

It was Jason.

She answered.

He asked if she could talk, she assured him that she could.

He didn't waste any time, he just confirmed what they suspected.

It was true, Christian had a sister.

Brenda was shocked.

She couldn't believe it.

It was really true.

Brenda wanted to know where she had been all this time, and most importantly, where was she now?

Jason knew exactly where she was.

Chicago

He would fill her in on the rest later.

Brenda wanted to see her.

He didn't know if it was a good idea.

She was a stranger.

Brenda still wanted to see her, so Jason agreed, on one condition, he go with her.

She agreed.

Jason didn't tell her too much, but he did tell her that she was working at a diner.

He didn't want her running off to find her alone.

Jason made Brenda promise to keep her distance.

They could go but only if she agreed not to say anything to her.

He wanted her to be safe more than anything, because she didn't know this woman.

Again, she promised.

They agreed to meet and she disconnected the call.

Brenda couldn't believe this was really happening.

She was going to meet Christian's sister.

She knew he would be angry and she should have left well enough alone, but she just never could bring herself to contact Jason and call it off.

She just felt he needed to know.

She really hoped she made the right the decision…..

Brenda was due to meet Jason in Chicago in just two days, which meant she would have to lie to Christian.

She came up with a plan, she would just tell him she had a modeling job.

It worked.

Two days later, she was on his private jet, headed to Chicago.

She didn't lie about where she was going, only what she was really doing.

She even gave him the hotel information.

Jason got a room in the same hotel.

He was already there when she arrived.

She called him as soon as she checked in, and minutes later he was knocking on her door.

She opened the door and smiled. Her eyes roamed over him. "Hello, ex-husband! Where is your tag team partner? You look...like you should be standing in a ring wearing tights, and trying to pin your opponent. You have gotten huge!"

Jason was not amused. "Not bigger than your mouth."

"Hug me! I know you are happy to see me. I can see it in those blue eyes."

She jumped on him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Get off, Brenda!"

"Not until you hug me back!"

"No."

"Well, we are going to stay like this."

He knew she wouldn't budge until he hugged her, so he gave her a nice squeeze.

She released him. "That was nice."

She moved to the side. "Come in, Mr. Scharzenegger."

Jason shook his head and followed her inside.

Brenda and Jason had an odd relationship.

Nothing ever happened between them, except for an innocent teenage kiss.

A kiss that happened before he was in his accident and lost his memory.

She was the only person, besides his grandmother, that remained close to him.

He distanced himself from the rest of his family, which was really hard on them.

He cared a great deal for them, they were just not as close.

Brenda and Jason spent some time catching up.

It was mostly Brenda telling him about her life, and asking him questions about his life, and the people in Port Charles.

He was a private person and he hated talking, but Brenda made him talk to her.

It was one of the reasons she stayed apart of his life after the accident.

She never took no for an answer.

There were times when they fought and a lot, but he was always there for her.

Always

Brenda took out her phone and showed him pictures of Brayden and Belle at different periods in their young lives.

She also told him the story about what happened to Brayden.

She trusted him more than anyone and knew he wouldn't repeat a word of it.

"They really are fine kids. I'm a little worried with you as their mother."

"I'm a good mother, Jason. I really am."

"I know, I'm just kidding, Brenda."

"I didn't know you knew how to kid."

He rolled his eyes. "I check up on you from time to time."

"You have me followed?"

"Not followed. Just making sure you're ok."

She wasn't surprised he always looked after her.

Ever since Sonny left her at the altar, he looked after her.

It started out being because Sonny told him too, but in the end, it was all him.

"Ok, so what exactly did you find out?"

Jason told her all about Christian's mother whose real name was Ella.

He was able to obtain a couple of driver license pictures as well as some mug shots.

Brenda looked through the pictures.

She was beautiful, but she could see her decline documented through the various mug shots.

He told her about Ella's childhood.

It was rough.

They were poor and she was taken from her parents.

She suffered abuse at the hands of her father.

After leaving the foster care program, she got pregnant soon after.

She was doing a good job providing for her young infant son, until she met the wrong guy.

A guy that would introduce her to drugs.

She had a baby girl when Christian was three but gave it up, by fleeing the hospital after she was born.

They located her, but she didn't want the child, and placed her up for adoption.

Brenda learned his sister had no children and worked in a diner, while going to school full time.

Her name was Christina.

The only thing his mother did before signing the papers was name her and ask that it never be changed.

"According to my sources, she is working now. We can go there."

Brenda was anxious to see her. "Ok..."

Christian was beyond pissed.

He couldn't believe Brenda lied to him.

He was sitting at his desk, when he got the phone call.

A phone call from Brenda's modeling agent.

She wanted to know if she was ready to start back working, because a company was interested in her for a beauty campaign.

She had been trying to reach her.

She emailed her, but never received a response.

She even called her cell phone before trying the office number.

She was anxious to talk to Brenda because it was time sensitive.

At first Christian thought she had taken work with someone else, but he knew Brenda wouldn't do that.

She lied to him.

He was sure she was in Chicago because her credit card had been used to book her room.

Yes, his jet had taken her there, but she could have easily boarded another flight.

He had Taylor check her credit cards just to make sure, and yes she was there.

She didn't lie, not about where she was going.

Just everything else….…

Brenda paced back and forth. "He has a sister. I can't believe it and she is definitely his sister. They look like twins. Jason, they look so much alike."

Brenda and Jason ended up going to the diner.

They found a table in the corner.

She was so nervous.

Jason had to tell her to calm down.

She tried to relax as best she could, and then she saw her, bursting through the doors of the kitchen, carrying a couple of plates.

She knew it was her.

She had Christian's eyes…his nose.

There was definitely no denying it, he had a sister.

Brenda couldn't take her eyes off her.

She watched her and tried not to be obvious, but it was hard.

She was a hard worker, Brenda could tell.

Just like Christian.

But she was always smiling.

That made her different from Christian who was much more serious.

Brenda wanted to talk to her, but Jason wouldn't let her.

They had to be smart.

Christian needed to be told first and then let him decide.

He didn't need her making a mistake and blurting anything out.

So, they kept their distance.

Time flew by and it came time for them to leave.

They had been there for almost two hours.

Jason didn't want anyone to get suspicious, especially since Brenda couldn't stop staring at Christian's sister.

She didn't want to leave, but they couldn't stay forever.

Even though Christian's sister was not their waitress, Brenda left her a tip anyway.

A hundred-dollar tip.

She would have left more, but that was all the cash she had.

It was actually all the cash Jason had.

She really hoped Christian would be happy.

She couldn't wait to tell him.

He would be angry at first, but she really believed this was a good thing.

He had a sister.

Brenda continued to pace back and forth in her hotel room.

"I don't know how to tell him. He is going to be so upset, but he really needs to know this."

Jason was sitting on the sofa his eyes following her as she walked back and forth. "I thought you were going to rush over and hug her."

"I wanted to." She stopped. "She looks tired doesn't she?"

"Well she works six days a week and takes classes. Brenda, I don't want you contacting her, not before talking to your husband. Understand?"

She nodded. "Yes."

*knock on the door*

Jason looked at Brenda. "Are you expecting anyone?"

She shook her head. "No."

Jason stood up and walked up to the door.

He looked out the peephole.

"Your husband."

Brenda froze. "My what?"

He repeated himself. "Your husband."

"No, it isn't."

"Yes, it is."

Brenda's eyes widen. "How do you know that?"

"I have been keeping an eye on you. I know. Should I open it or not?"

Her heart was pounding.

"Are you sure it's him?"

She rushed over to the door and looked out the peephole. "Oh my God, it is him."

Taylor was with him.

This was not going to end well.

She looked at Jason. "Please, don't do anything."

He looking confused. "Do what?"

"Anything."

"Ok, yeah…sure…whatever."

Brenda really didn't want to open that door.

The knocking got louder.

Jason looked at the door then at her. "Are you going to open it?"

"Jason, I don't know if I should?"

"I'll open it."

"No, I will."

Brenda took a deep breath and opened the door.

Christian yelled. "What the f*ck, Brenda?!"

"Christian, I can explain."

"Your a** better explain and now!"

Jason stepped from behind the door, grabbed Brenda's arm, and moved her out of the way. "Don't talk to her like that."

"Who the f*ck are you?" Christian's eyes fell on Brenda. "Who the f*ck is this? And why is he in your motherf*cking hotel room, touching you?"

Jason repeated himself. "Don't talk to her like that."

"I do what the f*ck I want! Brenda, you're a** had better start talking and now!"

Jason didn't care who he was, he was not going to just stand by and listen to him disrespect her. "Swear at her again and I am going to knock you out."

Christian took off his jacket. "Do it, b*tch."

He threw his hand up at Taylor, who was getting ready to tackle Jason.

He wanted to handle it himself.

Brenda jumped in between Jason and Christian. "No, no, no, no! No fighting! Christian, this is Jason, my friend. He is helping me with something and I will tell you about it later, when we are alone. There isn't anything going on. I promise. We have been knowing each other since we were kids! He is the friend I married, but never ever slept with. Remember I told you all about him? We are just friends, Baby. I promise."

"You promise? You have another motherf*cker in your hotel room and you lied! What in the f*ck is wrong with you, Brenda?"

Jason was trying hard not to hit him.

Brenda turned to Jason. "Could you us a minute?"

Jason's eyes are on Christian. "Are you sure?"

Christian yelled. "B*tch, yeah she is sure! Get the f*ck out!"

Jason had enough, he moved Brenda out of the way, and punched Christian in the face.

The blow almost knocked him off his feet, but Christian quickly swung and landed a punch splitting Jason's lip.

Brenda jumped in between them again. "Jason! Christian! Stop! Please! Stop!"

No doubt they would end up tearing her hotel room up.

Jason was a street fighter, but Christian was a trained fighter.

She knew Christian could hold his own, but Jason was a hitman.

He would probably end up shooting Christian, and Taylor would end up shooting him.

She turned towards Jason. "Jason, leave! Please. He is not going to hurt me."

He didn't move.

"Jason, please. Just do it for me. Please."

He still didn't budge.

"Jason…I'm begging you. Jason! Please."

He finally gave in. "Only, because you ask me to. But if he breathes on you…."

Christian grabbed Brenda's arm and pulled her behind him. "Shut the f*ck up and get out!"

Jason's blue eyes were darker now, and they were watching Christian.

Brenda thought he was going to hit him again, but he didn't.

He looked at her briefly then left.

Taylor followed him out.

As soon as Taylor closed the door, Brenda started pleading her case.

"Ok, Christian, hear me out."

Brenda noticed his cheek starting to swell.

She touched it. "Oh my God, I am so sorry."

He jerked away. "I don't give a f*ck about that, tell me what you are doing in Chicago, and why you had another man in your hotel room?"

"Jason...was helping...me find out...some things about your mother."

"My what? No, you didn't do that sh*t, Brenda. Tell me you didn't do that."

"Baby, I just felt like you needed to know. Maybe, if you understood her better-"

"I don't give a f*ck about her! How many times have I told you that?! Damn it, Brenda!"

She grabbed his arm. "If you just look at what I found, I think it could help you deal with things a little better."

Christian removed her hand. "Are you f*cking serious? Are you even listening to me? Have you ever listened to anything I have ever said?"

"Yes, and I know you are upset with me, but if you could just look at the information."

"Hell no! I'm not looking at sh*t!"

"But Christian-"

He cut her off. "Things were great between us. Why are you, hell bent on destroying it?!"

"This could make you...us stronger."

"We were fine, Brenda! Fine! Damnit! You just love sh*t!"

"No, Baby, I don't. I was just trying to help."

"Help? You knew I'd be upset. You knew I would not be ok with this, but you did it anyway!"

"Christian, I didn't mean to hurt you. This was intended to help."

"You are f*cking delusional. You are wearing me out, Brenda. This sh*t with you has gotten old."

"I don't want to wear you out. I am just trying to help, Christian."

"Why didn't you just leave well enough alone?"

"There was nothing well about it. I was just trying to make things better, Baby."

"You are f*cking unreal."

He walked towards the door.

She grabbed his arm, but he pulled away.

"Where are you going?"

"Back home to our children."

"You're just going to leave me here?"

"Yes, I am."

She grabbed his arm again.

He looked down at her hand. "Take your hand off me."

She knew he meant it.

She released him.

He opened the door and left.

Brenda covered her mouth. "Oh my God."

She couldn't believe this was happening.

She just stood there unsure of what to do.

Should she go after him, or just give him space?

She didn't know how long she was standing there, before she heard a knock at the door.

She rushed over and answered it. "Chris-"

It was Jason.

He was struggling to see inside of the room.

"Christian left."

"I came back because I didn't trust the guy."

"The guy is my husband, Jason. He wouldn't hurt me."

She turned around and headed back into the living area.

He followed her inside. "Does he always talk to you like that?"

"When he's angry, sometimes when he's not."

"That's not going to work. You and your kids can come live with me."

"I'm not being abused, Jason. Do you think I would ever let that happen?"

"Not the Brenda I used to know."

"I'm still the same, Brenda."

"I want you and your kids to come live with me."

"I can't come live with you. Don't you have a girlfriend?"

"So?"

Brenda shook her head. "The understanding type? No thanks. I'm fine, Jason. That's just…Christian. You kill. He uses bad language. You both are flawed. He does not use that type of language around our kids."

"He should not be talking to you like that."

"Jason, trust me, I am not being abused."

"I don't trust you and I don't like him."

"Well, I do. I love him..."

It took her two hours to convince him that she was not being abused.

"Brenda, if he ever lays a hand on you, he'll come up missing."

"He wouldn't do that, Jason."

"If you ever need me just call, text, email, send a letter, whatever…I will come."

She smiled. "I think you love me, Jason Quartermaine."

"It's Morgan."

"No, you are a Quartermaine. You can always count on me to tell you the truth."

"Unfortunately."

She hugged him. "Thanks..."

Brenda ended up leaving a little while later.

She was supposed to stay overnight, but after everything that happened, she thought it would be best if she went home.

The kids were in bed when she got there.

Christian was in their room working on his laptop.

He didn't even acknowledge her.

She walked in and placed her things down. "Are you ignoring me now?"

He didn't say a word.

She grabbed her things and took them into her closet.

After slipping on a tank and a pair of shorts she joined him in their bed.

He was on one side she was on the other.

By this time, he was off his laptop, and his back was turned to her.

She looked at the back of his head. "I know you are angry, but you are going to have to talk to me at some point."

*silence*

"Christian, are you just going to ignore me?"

Nothing

"Ok, I guess you'll talk when you are ready."

She felt that familiar feeling.

The urge to leave.

Leave him before he left her, but she couldn't run.

She had to stay and see this through.

She knew beforehand that he would be angry.

It was time for her to put on her big girl panties and face the music.

She knew she did the right thing.

In her heart, she knew…..

He didn't talk to her the next day either, because he left town.

He told Miss Thomas he had to go away on business.

Miss Thomas relayed that information to her.

She learned that he would be back later on that night.

She tried to keep busy, and not think about it, but it was hard.

He returned home that night, but still didn't say a word to her.

He walked in while they were having dinner.

He said hello to the kids, he even joined them, but ignored her.

She couldn't believe he was acting like this.

She understood he was angry, but now he was acting childish.

After dinner he spent time with the kids and helped her get them ready for bed.

After tucking them in, he disappeared.

She didn't see him anymore that night…

It's the next morning.

Brenda looked over at Christian's side of the bed.

It was empty.

She wasn't sure if he slept in their bed or not.

His side of the bed looked slept in, but she couldn't be sure.

She ran her fingers through her disheveled hair.

She was not going to stay in the same room with him and be ignored.

She had to distance herself for her own sanity.

She wouldn't leave the house, but she was going to leave the room.

He wouldn't have to avoid her anymore.

She moved a couple of things down to the bedroom, she once stayed in.

That should make it easier for him….and her….

Christian came home pretty late.

He was still angry with Brenda.

He couldn't believe she went behind his back, knowing how he felt about his mother.

He ended up going by the bar before coming home.

He just needed to clear his head.

He didn't understand why she was so hell bent on making things difficult for them.

Everything was fine. Why would she do the one thing that she knew would upset him the most?

He walked into the house and headed straight up the stairs.

He looked in on the kids before walking down to the room he shared with Brenda.

At some point he knew he would have to talk to her.

He just wasn't sure when that would be.

He walked into the room.

It was empty.

The bed was untouched.

He checked the bathroom, she was not there.

He walked out of the room and was just about to head downstairs when he decided to try the other rooms.

Brenda was in bed reading.

The door opened and she looked up.

Their eyes met.

He didn't say a word, he just closed the door, and walked back down the hall.

She tossed the book on the bed and crossed her arms.

She was sick of this.

She got out of bed and headed down to the master bedroom.

Christian was in the bathroom undressing.

"What did you want?"

"Just checking to see if you'd left."

"Would that make you happy if I had?"

He was naked now.

He glanced at her and got into the shower without answering.

She continued. "Were you disappointed? You have been ignoring me since you left Chicago, maybe you were hoping I'd leave?

He turned his back to her and started soaping up.

She started to leave but then she stopped and turned back around.

Brenda had enough. "Fine, don't answer, Christian! I only did it because you are haunted by your past and don't act like you're not. Baby, I know you are, and I also believe you do care about your mother. You are just hurting. I wanted you to know a little about her, so that you can try to come to terms with what she did, and maybe forgive her. It is torturing you. I know it is. It hurts me to see you in so much pain. I know it didn't happen to me and I can't really understand. I know that. I just wanted to help you get past the pain, because seeing you struggling hurts me too, because I love you so much."

He started rinsing off.

Brenda shook her head. "Sometimes you can be a son of a b*tch! Whatever, I'm gone."

She said her peace and she was going to bed...

Brenda is back down in the other bedroom.

She sat there for a minute, before turning out the light, and getting up under the covers.

About ten minutes later the door opened.

Her back was facing it.

She didn't bother turning around.

She knew it was Christian.

She felt the covers being thrown back.

She turned and looked back at him.

He scooped her up, carried her out of the bedroom, and down to their room.

He took her inside of the room and kicked the door closed.

After placing her in the bed, he slid in next to her.

He kissed her shoulder.

"Did you come because you wanted to have sex?"

"I came because I needed to be close to you."

"You haven't needed it since Chicago."

"Yes, I have needed it. I haven't slept anywhere else."

"Why wouldn't you talk to me?"

"I was angry, Brenda."

"Are you still angry?"

"Yes."

"Well, at least you aren't lying."

He slipped his hand inside her shorts.

She closed her eyes. "Christian, what are you doing?"

"What does it feel like?"

"Sex will not fix the situation."

"We are not having sex."

She moaned as his fingers pressed up against the most sensitive of spots, before slipping inside her…

After showering his fingers, he withdrew them.

Brenda was confused. "Was that your way of saying you are sorry for getting angry with me?"

"No, for not talking to you. I am still angry with you and I believe I have every right."

"You thought you could make everything better by sticking your hand in my panties?"

He smiled. "Do you feel better?"

"I don't know how I feel, but at least you are talking to me. Do you still have a feeling of deep affection for me?"

"God help me."

She turned to face him. "I love you too, Baby. I did not mean to upset you."

"You knew I wouldn't be happy."

"Yes, but I thought you needed to know."

"Brenda, if I wanted to know, I could have found out the same thing you did."

"Yes, but I knew you would never do it."

"Because I don't care."

She didn't believe that but she just decided to let it go.

She yawned.

He kissed her neck. "Go to sleep..."

Christian sat down at his desk.

There was a folder on top and a note from Brenda.

When you are ready read it, and if you are never ready, that's fine too. I will never bring it up again.

He tossed it in the trash and started working on his laptop.

A whole hour passed, and he couldn't stop thinking about that folder.

He pulled it out of the trash.

He got up, punched in a code, and placed the folder inside a secure file cabinet.

He walked back over to his desk and sat down...

Brenda sat down on the sofa. "How are you really doing?"

Diana shrugged. "I don't know, but I'm happy he is gone."

"Are you?"

"Yes, it is over between us. I would have never cheated on him, and I didn't think he would cheat on me. Boy was I wrong. I guess I wasn't enough for him. I should've known. We went from having sex between two and three times a week, to barely every two weeks. He just wasn't interested, and I thought he was just too tired from work. He was too tired because he was banging someone else."

"I really hate that he hurt you."

"Did I tell you that Josh hit him?"

Brenda sat up. "No, you did not! When?"

"He came over to get his things, and Josh was helping him. He was angry with me and he started taking shots. He was saying the most awful things. Josh didn't like it, and told him to stop. He told him that he ruined the relationship, I didn't. They started arguing and Josh hit him."

Brenda laughed. "Good job, Josh."

"I'm sure they made up by now. Josh wanted him to accept responsibility for what he did. He didn't like what he was saying so they argued and then he clocked him."

"I like Josh."

Diana grinned. "Me too…."

It's a couple of weeks later.

Brenda and Christian have not had sex since he found out about her digging into his mother's past.

She didn't have to ask why. She knew he was still angry with her.

He would never have sex with her when he was angry and she didn't want him to.

She liked her vagina.

They didn't discuss his mother at all, or the information Jason found.

She had given him the information and it was up to him to do what he wanted with it.

She thought about it a lot.

She wondered if he'd thrown it away.

She really hoped he didn't.

She wanted to tell him that he had a sister but she promised she wouldn't bring any of it up.

She was hoping one day he would read it on his own. That's if he still had it.

She really prayed that he didn't throw it away or else she was going to have to just tell him.

That information was just too important.

For now, she wouldn't say a word….

One night Brenda was in their bathroom standing in front of the mirror rubbing moisturizer all over her legs, when Christian walked in.

He got more than an eye full of her scantily clad rear.

She stood up and pulled her hair up into a loose knot.

She noticed him watching her through the mirror.

"I didn't see you. How was work?"

"It was work."

He removed his jacket.

It had been weeks since they had sex.

It took him longer than expected to get over what she'd done.

Sex could get rough if he was angry enough, and he was angry with her.

He watched her grab her shorts and pull them on.

Christian walked over and yanked them back down, forcing her to step back out of them.

This drought had lasted long enough.

"Spread your legs."

"Are we having sex now?"

"Stick your a** out and move your panties to the side."

"So, you expect me to just do what you say?"

"You will if you want me inside of you, and I know you do. Be a good girl and do as you are told."

"No."

Their eyes met in the mirror. "You don't want me?"

"Of course, but not just on your terms."

"It wasn't on my terms. It was on yours. You didn't want me f*cking you when I was angry. I can f*ck you in any mood I'm in." He reached down and rubbed her through her panties. "Don't you miss me?"

She closed her eyes.

Damn it, where was her will power?

"No…I don't miss you."

He smiled. "You don't?"

She repeated herself. "No."

"Why are you getting wet?"

He moved his finger up and down her.

She exhaled.

F*ck it.

She leaned over.

He stepped back and watched as she did what she was told. "Baby, you have a beautiful p*ssy."

He unfastened his pants, lifted her leg, placing it on the counter, and pushed his full length inside of her.

He groaned. "You are so warm."

She reached back and grabbed a handful of his hair.

Christian grabbed her breast, and rammed himself in and out of her until he came.

After catching his breath, he scooped her up and took her out into the bedroom.

Brenda knew she was in for a very long night…...

Christian kissed the top of Belle's head.

Brenda smiled. "You are spoiling her."

"I'm supposed to."

She chuckled. "No, you don't."

"Says who?"

"All the books I have read."

"They don't know what they are talking about."

"I think she is the only female that has you wrapped around her finger."

"Not the only, there is her mother."

Brenda grinned.

He really doted on Belle.

She had the best of everything.

It broke Brenda's heart to see her throw those expensive dolls around.

Christian could care less.

If she broke one, he would just buy her two more.

Belle pointed at Brayden and Tango.

They were running back and forth in the yard.

"He loves that dog."

Christian nodded. "Yes, he does."

"They have been close since he was born. I don't think I have ever told you this story, but Tango is the reason I thought I could possibly be pregnant. I had totally forgot that I missed my period, until Tango went into the cabinet, and took the tampons out.

"You never told me that."

"Yeah, that's when it dawned on me, I might just have gotten knocked up by my handsome fling."

He grinned….

Christian punched in his code and opened up the file drawer, he pulled out a file, but noticed the one Brenda had given him.

He hadn't thought about in a while.

He closed the drawer and walked back over to his desk.

He could hardly concentrate.

He couldn't stop thinking about the contents of that folder.

Even after taking a couple of calls, he still thought about it.

He had to know what was in it.

He got up and took it out of the file cabinet…

Brenda is in the playroom with the kids, they were watching a movie.

Well, the movie was watching them now.

The kids had fallen asleep.

Belle was in her arms, Brayden was stretched out on the sectional, with his head on her lap.

Tango was lying on the floor next to her feet.

"Tango, do you think you can carry Brayden up to his room?"

He lifted his head and looked at Brayden.

Brenda shook her head. "You are just too smart, Tango."

The door opened to the playroom.

It was Christian.

She smiled. "You are right on time, I thought I-"

"I have a sister?"

Her eyes widen.

He read it.

"Baby, you read the file?"

"I have a sister?"

She nodded. "Yes, sweetheart...you do."

"This could be a lie, Brenda."

"It's not, we saw her in Chicago. I saw her."

"The reason you went?"

"Yes, Jason insisted on coming with me, because he didn't want me to go alone."

"Maybe, it is a mistake?"

"She looks like you, Baby. She has your eyes."

"And she works in a diner…in Chicago?"

She nodded. "She is in school too."

"She was sent to foster care?"

"Yes, she didn't bounce around. There was only one family. A good family. They were not wealthy, but they took good care of her."

He was relieved. "Good. I was abused enough."

"Do you plan on...seeing her?"

"I don't know. Maybe she is fine with not knowing she has a brother?"

"Yes, or maybe not."

"Mia is my sister and Elliot is my brother."

She nodded. "Yes, they are."

He was still in shock. "I have a blood sister. What kind of person is she?"

"Jason said there is nothing in her record, not even a speeding ticket. She works hard and helps her family. The reason it has taken her so long to graduate school."

He ran his fingers through his hair. "Sh*t Brenda, I have to be careful who I let in my life."

"I know. You are extremely wealthy. I get it."

"People don't have the best intentions."

"I know."

He looked off. "I'll have to think about it."

She watched him. "Ok, whatever you want to do. What...about the information on your mother?"

His eyes returned to Brenda. "Nothing has changed. I don't care what she went through. If I abused or let someone abuse our children, would you understand because of my situation? Hell no. My mother was weak and I'm done with that. I survived. I'm a little f*cked up, but I survived. Knowing that my sister didn't have to go through what I did…helps. She should have given me up too. She didn't want me. She wanted her men and drugs. I look at Brayden and Belle and all I want to do is protect them. Keep them safe. My mother didn't care and that sh*t hurts, but whatever."

Brenda took Belle and placed her down on the sofa.

She carefully moved Brayden's head and got up.

She walked over to Christian and kissed both his cheeks, before wrapping her arms around him. "I'm so sorry, baby. I love you so much, and I am sorry you went through that."

Christian released all of that hurt in his wife arms, with each tear that rolled down his face...

The next few month things were much better with Christian.

Brenda could see him really letting go of all the pain.

She was shocked to learn he sent his sister an email.

She didn't reply until a week later.

She wasn't sure if he was legit or not.

They agreed to Skype.

It was their first time seeing one another.

They were both shocked at the resemblance.

They were both convinced that they were indeed siblings.

They agreed to meet.

In Chicago.

Brenda went with him.

They met at a restaurant.

She brought her boyfriend with her.

She was in tears when she saw him.

She almost knocked him down, when she practically jumped on him.

She was a hugger, Christian was not, but she didn't notice or care.

She was meeting the only blood relative she had or knew of.

They both were.

Christina was a very nice person with a bubbly personality.

The opposite of Christian.

Brenda liked her.

She told him all about her life.

She loved her foster parents.

They had officially adopted her when she was in the fifth grade.

Her boyfriend seemed nice too.

He was a photographer.

He was successful, but she wouldn't accept any help from him.

She liked taking care of herself.

Christian liked her too, she could tell….

They didn't need a DNA test to tell them what they already knew, but they took one anyway, and it was confirmed.

They took things slow and really got to know one another.

It took a whole year before she came to visit.

She met the kids and his family too.

She was overwhelmed because she had no idea he was as wealthy as he was.

Brenda wondered why she didn't look him up.

Christina told her that she would never do that. He was her brother. He would tell her what he wanted her to know.

His sister was definitely an exceptional person.

She told Brenda that she felt out of place.

Everyone was nice but this was a world she was unfamiliar with.

She didn't envy it or want it.

She loved her life.

She just didn't know how to act.

Brenda told her, like herself.

And she did.

His family welcomed her with open arms.

They were happy to learn he had a sister.

She bonded with Mia the most.

They were a lot alike.

They would go on to become the best of friends.

Christian wanted to give his sister the world.

She wouldn't take a dollar from him.

She didn't want there ever to be a doubt about her sincerity.

Christina eventually graduated and Christian and Brenda was there to cheer her on…..

Christian looked at the time, Brenda would be arriving soon.

They were going to have lunch together.

He had one thing he had to do before he could leave.

He had an interview with someone from the local university.

She should be here by now.

His phone beeped.

He picked it up.

It was his assistant.

"Send her in."

Christian stood up as the door swung open.

A brunette stumbled in, almost tripping over some imaginary step.

He chuckled up under his breath.

She apologized.

He nodded. "It's fine." He walked up to her. "Grey."

She shifted her bag and extended a sweaty hand. "Anastasia Steele."

He shook her hand. "Nice to meet you. Have a seat."

She sat down.

He sat across from her.

He watched as she fumbled through her bag and pulled out a binder.

She looked nervous.

He looked her over.

In the past, she was the type of girl he would have chosen to be his submissive.

Not that attractive, a little awkward, already smitten with him.

Yep, she would have been great for a time.

Until he got bored and it was time to move on.

He couldn't believe the turn his life had taken.

He was now married with children.

Not only that but to a woman who didn't do anything he said.

What if he never went to that salon that day?

Things might just have ended up differently.

He was sure of it.

He wondered what kind of life he would have?

What kind of person he would be?

He'd be unhappy.

He looked over the girl's shoulder and saw the door opening.

It was Brenda.

He had told his assistant to send her in when she arrived.

Ana's eyes followed his.

Brenda smiled at Christian. "Hey."

He nodded. "Hello. Miss Steele, my wife, Brenda…Grey."

Brenda shot him a look because she never officially changed her name.

Ana threw up her hand. "Hello, Mrs. Grey."

Brenda smiled. "Hi, and don't mind me. I will be as quiet as a mouse."

Ana returned her smile.

They were two of the most beautiful people she had ever seen in her life.

They must have beautiful perfect children too.

Brenda sat down on the sofa.

Ana continued asking one question after the next.

He answered them while stealing glances at his wife.

Ana envied her and wondered what life was like for them.

They were rich, beautiful, and probably had no problems.

The country club on Saturdays, church on Sundays.

She finally asked her last question and a couple of minutes later the interview was over.

Ana thanked him and said goodbye to his wife, who actually ended up interviewing her.

She asked her what she was studying in school, which led to several other questions.

Ana thought she was really different than how she looked.

She expected her to be snobbish, but she was really down to earth.

Approachable

Brenda apologized for being nosey and keeping her.

Ana assured her that it was fine.

They said their goodbyes and she left.

Christian made his way over to his wife and sat down next to her.

"I think we need a vacation. It has been a while."

She grabbed his hand. "It has, where should we go?"

"Where would you like to go? It can be anywhere in the world."

She leaned over and kissed him. "Surprise me."

"Ok….."

Christian ended up taking them to Venice, Italy.

It was so beautiful.

Brenda had been to Venice before but not with Christian.

They spent the days with the kids and the nights with each other.

Taylor and Miss Thomas also came.

They were all on vacation.

They stayed in a ten bedroom, ten bath villa.

It was gorgeous, and it was just what they needed.

Things were probably the best they had ever been between Christian and Brenda….

They are having dinner at a restaurant.

"Christian, thanks for a very lovely trip."

"You can thank me later when you part those soft lips and put me in your mouth."

"I am trying to be thoughtful, stop being gross."

"Ok, baby. I apologize."

Brenda started again. "I just wanted to thank you for all that you do. This really was great."

She leaned over and kissed his cheek. "It seems like yesterday when I first saw you walking in the salon. The women were having heart attacks."

"Not the one that caught my eye, she didn't even like me."

"I didn't know you. I thought you were cocky. Good looking but cocky." She laughed. "I was right too."

"I just like things my way. I realize that I can't always have that. I have never compromised as much as I have with you."

She smiled. "It's because of the intense affection you have for me."

He chuckled. "Yeah."

"Do you think you will ever get bored?"

"With you?"

"Us."

He shook his head. "No, you will never stop challenging me. I need that."

"You're the challenge. Do you think if I would have agreed to be your submissive we would have ended up here? Still together?"

He shrugged. "I don't know, probably. I do have this intense affection for you."

"Me or my vagina?"

"Both."

She laughed.

After dinner they walked the streets of Venice.

They didn't talk much.

They didn't have to.

They were finally at a point where they were comfortable with each other.

Finally

In every way...

They are back at home in Seattle.

Brenda was in the kitchen with the kids, when Christian strolled in.

He had just gotten off work.

He approached her from behind and kissed her neck.

She turned.

He handed her a bouquet of flowers.

She squealed. "Oh, Baby!"

She planted several kisses all over his face.

"Thank you. They are beautiful."

"Do you like them?"

"Yes! You picked them out?"

"All by myself."

"Babe!"

She jumped on him and the kids started laughing….

Brenda and Christian are in their room.

She is helping him remove his tie.

"Christian, I have something I would like to talk to you about."

He kissed her. "What? You're not pregnant again are you?"

"Would you be disappointed if I were?"

"Sh*t Brenda, are you?"

"No, relax, I'm still on birth control."

"Well, what is it? Have you spent the day with any of your exes?"

She laughed. "No."

He asked another question. "Have you been looking for my father?"

"No. Would you like me to?"

He shook his head. "Hell, no. Well, what?"

"Do you trust me?"

He looked into her eyes. "Yeah, Baby."

"I trust you too. I trust that you wouldn't do anything to harm me."

He kissed her. "Never, Baby."

"I was thinking. I love being with you sexually. You have taken me to places I didn't even know existed."

Christian was really interested now. "Yeah."

"I want...I'm asking if sometimes...not all the time, Grey. I'm asking…if I could be your submissive."

She didn't get the response she thought she would get.

Christian did not see that coming. "Why?"

"I thought you would be ecstatic."

"I just would like to know…why?"

"Because I trust you now. Totally. We are not strangers anymore."

"Are you bored?"

She caressed his cheek. "Of course not."

"Why now, Baby?"

"Why not now. You don't want to?"

He grinned. "Oh yes. Of course, I want to, but we don't have to."

"I know that, but I want to."

He chuckled. "Wow, I don't think I ever expected you to say those words. Are you sure?"

She nodded. "You love me. I know that and I love you. We trust each other."

"Brenda, I am more than satisfied with you."

She shook her head. "I know."

He placed his hands on both sides of her face. "Why, Baby? Why now?"

"Why not? You don't want to have control over my body….me?"

"Yes, ever since I laid eyes on you. But we don't have to. I'm good. Great actually."

"I am too, but I want to."

His grays eyes are watching her closely. "When?"

"I guess when we work the location out. I know how you feel about the separation. Did you keep your things?"

Christian smiled. "Maybe."

"Where are they?"

"I didn't keep anything."

He grabbed her hand and kissed her palm. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am."

He paused and looked into her eyes. He must have been satisfied with what he seen. "Come with me."

"Where are we going?"

"Not far."

He led her into his closet.

"Why are we in your closet?"

He released her hand, grabbed the wall size mirror, and pulled it back.

Brenda eyes widen.

There was a pad.

He pressed his thumb on it and it opened.

Brenda stepped back. "What…in…the world?"

He took her hand and led her inside.

The hidden door closed back.

Brenda could not believe her eyes.

It was a playroom and it looked exactly like his old one, down to the color.

Red

"This house was made especially for us."

"You told me there was no playroom here."

"The only time I have ever lied to you."

"Christian, have you been in here with someone else? When I was away."

"Nope, this is ours. Everything in here is new."

"How did you know I would change my mind?"

"I didn't."

She didn't believe that. "You must have…"

"No, I didn't."

She took a deep breath. "F*ck, Christian."

"Brenda, if you are not ready, or if you are never ready it doesn't matter to me."

"I am. I trust you. I am just shocked that you have all of this…here."

"We can go over everything. Just like before. Do you have any questions?"

She shook her head. "No."

"Well, I am going to ask you a couple. What can't I do?"

"Whatever you want."

"Your a**?"

"Whatever you want."

"Well, I am not touching your a**. I like it just the way it is. Maybe a finger or two, but nothing bigger. It's tight. It's pretty. I like it."

"That was your opportunity, Grey. You can't take that back."

He grinned. "I don't want to."

"What is the safe word?"

"Red…stop. Whatever you want it to be."

"No, Grey. We need a word. A clear one."

"Red."

"Should I sign something?"

He didn't think that was necessary. "No, you are my wife."

"Should I get you to sign something?"

He shrugged. "If you'd like?"

"I am just kidding."

Christian started unbuttoning his shirt. "I'm not."

His eyes a color she never seen.

He was done talking.

She watched him get naked.

He walked over and opened a drawer.

He pulled out a pair of jeans.

He slipped them on.

He walked over to her. "Get undressed."

She did as she was told.

"Turn around."

She obeyed.

He took her hair down and started to braid it.

As soon as he was done he walked off, returning a mere seconds later…with a blindfold.

Brenda was now in complete darkness, but she wasn't scared.

A calm came over her.

She trusted him…with her life.

She knew he was close.

She could smell him.

There was so many sides to this complicated man.

A lot of them she knew well.

As each buckle was fastened on her wrists and her ankles, she thought finally she was going to get to meet this one...and she was ready...finally…for this shade of Grey...

"Red."

Christian grinned. "I haven't done anything."

"I was just making sure it worked."

He laughed and ran his thumb across her lips. "Is anything too tight?"

She shook her head. "No."

Why was he asking her that?

She felt his lips on hers.

She expected something different, but it was soft…gentle.

He broke the kiss. "I love you."

Brenda swallowed hard.

"Christian…say…that again."

He removed her blindfold. "I love you."

A single tear trickled down her cheek. "I know. Now hurry up. I'm ready to be beat and f*cked."

He laughed. "I'm not going to beat you."

"Sorry, spanked. Blindfold please."

He kissed her and pulled the blindfold over her eyes…

The End
