After the happy occasion earlier, many of the personel walked around camp feeling board out of their minds.
Charles had himself wrapped up in his bathrobe. At the moment he had the tune of clarinet quintet drifting through his mind. He wished his musicians were here to distract him from this war.
Charles jumped out of his thoughts as the overhead came on.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! FIVE MINUTES AGO THE PEACE TRUCE WAS SIGNED IN PANMUNJOM. TWELEVE HOURS FROM NOW, THE HOSTILITIES WILL COME TO AN END... THE WAR IS OVER!!!!"
Charles closed his eyes and sighed. He could here other people screaming and cheering behind him. However, he remained quiet... he wanted to remember this moment forever.

Father Mulcahy could have sworn he heard something outside. He opened the door to his tent and looked outside. People were running around, hugging each other, mouths wide open, it looks like they're cheering...
The Father walked up to a man. "Excuse me, what's going on?"
The man beamed. "Didn't you hear the overhead? The war is over!!"
He stepped back and took it all in, but quickly joined in with the others, throwing his fists in the air and cheering. He was especially surprised when Charles approached him and pulled him in for a hug.
It was finally over.
