The soldiers deposit the body at my feet, when they do I can hear my squire gag. The man's mouth has strange cuts upon it, I can't help asking, "What are these cuts?". A soldier nervously shuffles and tells me, "We found him with his own genitals cut off and shoved in his mouth. I removed it so it might not offend you.". I groan and tell him, "Bury him with his gear and wipe away the bear head. Nothing about this leaves this room.". The men do as I command and soon enough I'm walking with my squire. "What do we do now?". My squire asks me as we make our way over to the docks. As we walk I tell her, "I'll have the guards walk in pairs of three and forbid them from partaking in whores and alcohol. They'll argue, but eventually they'll get over it. I'd rather have them alive than happy.".
We arrive at the docks a few minutes later, the smell almost makes me turn around and go back. Fish, night soil, and vomit bake in the sun, but that's not the reason I came here. Floating in the water are the remains of last nights attack. Five boats filled with rebels attempted to sneak back into Riften the same way we did, but one of the boats tipped and alerted my men. The boats were smashes and the rebels killed before they reached the shore, but the remains are now floating. Swollen bodies litter the water, pieces of wood clog the water grates, and blood stains the water red. A few of the bodies have already been fished out. My men attempted to loot them, but their bodies are too swollen to take any of their armor off.
"What do you want us to do with them?". One of the soldiers asks me. I consider and tell him, "Burn the bodies and wood, but let the water clear naturally.". The soldier nods and sets to work. As soon as we're done I turn and retreat to the city, the stench of the dock following me. After we're in the city I turn to my squire and tell her, "Feel free to explore the city, I have private duties to attend to.". She nods, but gives me a quick peck on the cheek before trotting away. I quickly make my way back to the keep, every citizen staring at me. Maven told me she wanted to see me, apparently there was a strange attack on the west gate last night. I'm not sure what might have happened, but I have a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.
Dovahkiin POV:
I wanted to swim in the canal since we first got here, but never got a chance. The guards and Rikke have told me the water is filthy, but I simply want to swim to satisfy my curiosity. I'm on the lower walkway when a heavy object collides with my head, from the feel of it a blunt object. I open my mouth to scream in pain, but another hit to the head stops me. A rough hand grabs my ankle and I'm drug across the wood walkway. I reach out and grab one of the planks to stop myself, but my attacker yanks me lose and continues. A door creaks open and I feel myself being dragged into darkness. A laugh erupts off to my left and another to my right, before I know it I'm surrounded by laughter.
I'm flipped around and a familiar face greets me. For a minute I mistake her for Nameless and begin fighting her, but as my vision improves I realize it's one of her sisters. I calm down a little, but only for a second. She yanks my sword from my belt, my bow from my back, and my dagger from my boot. After a moment of consideration she takes my arrows too. She begins groping me and I start kicking, but after a few seconds I realize she's checking for weapons. She finds my last remaining weapon and tosses it aside, my dagger hidden in between my breast. I was armed to the teeth when I left the keep, but in a matter of minutes I have nothing left besides my claws. As if she heard my thoughts the sister grabs my hand and calls to one of her brothers. Using his knife he quickly clips my claws, not the slightest bit concerned he did it too close and I'm bleeding. He does the same to my canine fangs before stepping away.
The sisters laugh and begin yanking my armor off of me, when they're done I'm left in only my undergarments. I manage to claw one of them in the face, but a sharp punch to the gut advises me not to do it again. I whimper as they bind my hands and begin carrying me away, eventually we reach stairs and we begin our descent. "Nameless will be so happy!". One of the brothers manages to say between giggles. One of the sisters answers, "She might even let us run around the city a little!". The group dissolves into giggles as we keep going down, but become serious when we reach a ebony door. They open the door, push me through, and slam it shut. "Well, well, well. What have my siblings brought me now?". I know her voice, but refuse to look up. Nameless yanks my head up to look at her, she's close enough I can smell the beer on her breath.
I hiss and bare my fangs, but the blood running out of my mouth may ruin the effect. Nameless laughs as she heaves me over her shoulder, a quick examination of the room reveals it's Nameless's bedroom. I begin kicking, screaming, and spitting in my attempt to get free. My attempts just cause Nameless to laugh as she tosses me on to her bed. "What are you doing?!". I hiss as she crawls towards me. Nameless smiles and tells me, "Consummating my marriage.". I wait until she's near me before I kick her in the face, the crack telling me I've hit my mark. I smile in victory, but quickly stop when she pulls me towards her.
Her armored fist collides with my gut before it slaps me across the face, blood leaking from Nameless's broken tooth. The hits come hard and fast, but I hardly feel them. When she's satisfied I feel her tear my underclothes away. I whimper and Nameless slides up and begins roughly kissing me. When she pulls away I snap her right ear in my teeth and begin shaking, but only stop when the ear detaches from her skull. I spit the ear out and begin laughing, but stop when Nameless's hand tightens around my throat. Her armored fist yanks back, but I hardly feel it smash into my face before everything goes black.
Rikke POV:
I examine the bodies that were thrown over the walls last night. Instead of directly attacking the city the Stormcloaks threw corpses, bloated with disease. Most were burned, but a few of my own men have begun to show signs of sickness. I tell the men to burn the corpses and see the healer, then I return to the keep. My head is throbbing and doesn't get better when a courier seeks me out. "What's wrong now!?". I snarl at the man. He nervously replies, "We looked for you squire like you commanded, but we didn't find her.". I practically growl, "Did you find ANYTHING?!". The man gulps and says, "Armor and weapons matching your descriptions were found in the river, along with some bloody underclothes.". I feel my shield clatter to the ground. One word runs through my mind again and again. No.
