Chapter 25

When we wake up the next day, we delve deeper into the uncharted forest. I watch the sun reach its highest peak, noon. Soon, we find a beach we set camp on.

Peter, although he is old Peter, is growing on me and I don't want to stab him much anymore. He makes a fire and plays by the crashing waves. Tori on the other hand watches the fire like a predator stares at its prey. Tobias and I lie on the sand together, with my head on his chest and arm around me.

We can be together. We can be together. We will be back into our bodies and be able to touch each other with our real fingers.

Tobias runs his hand through my hair. He gives me a little kiss on my forehead before he sits up. "What?" I ask him.

"I just love you." He says. His words stay in my mind. "You look beautiful."

Our lips touch and electricity runs through my veins. Our bodies are one. We are like two puzzle pieces that have finally connected and will never be separate, until...

He. Pulls. Out. A. Gun. He puts the butt of the gun on my forehead and orders me to stand up.

I turn around and find Tori and Peter gone. "What is going on?" I ask with nervousness in my voice. He pulls me to the ground and kicks me in the stomach, making me cough.

Welcome to your final test, Ms. Prior. The voice says.

You backstabbing bitch. If I get my hands on you, I will choke you.

How can you battle yourself then? It says.

Something brings my hands to my neck and chokes me. I gasp for air and as I make gagging sounds, Tobias kicks me more.

He is not the real Tobias. Tobias will be waiting for me. He is in the Other World right now. He is making his way back to the Bureau and is waiting to see me.

I am controlling you.

My nails dig into my skin and I let out a sharp yelp. Pain is what I am feeling right now, raw pain that is ripping me apart. I feel blood on my fingernails. I fight the force, which is probably the Voice, with everything that I have.

I stand up and rip my hands out of my neck. Air enters my body and my neck is bleeding. Tobias stares at me, his eyes widening.

"You bitch!" He yells and the words affect me. "How did you that?"

"I may love you Tobias, but I will never love you in your way right now you fucking bastard." His jaw drops and he looks at me with great concern. Then I charge at him.

Tobias aims at me and shoots. I move to the left slightly, but the bullet still touches me, scratching my left shoulder. I don't care for these wounds. I have too many scars to worry about. Scars outside and inside of me.

He shoots again and it hits my leg and a sharp pain shoots within me. I ignore it as I slam myself against Tobias and we both fall against the sand. I scratch his face, which draws three lines of blood on his cheek.

He grabs my hair and carries me by it. And it hurts. He swings me and I hit a tree and land on my back. My mid back section stings with pain. I stand up, even though I 'm pretty sure my veins are running with pain now, not blood.

How do I defeat a growing invincible monster? The Voice is a part of me and is probably telling Tobias what my next move is.

I make a clean punch at his nose and hear a little crack. Checkmate, bitch. I kick between his legs and he screams.

He falls onto the sand with his gun. I run toward the gun, but Tobias pulls me onto the ground with him. He jumps up and lands on his feet. He holds the gun and has a good grip on it. "Well," he says. "Guess who will never win against me."

Pain goes through me and my eyes close. I take my first breath in an old world.

A/N: Many of you guys have predicted the whole thing to be a test and it was! But did I fool you with it? Cause this what I had always had in mind when I first typed in the words, I wake up in a small twin bed. Yes. This was the MUHAHAHAHAHA thing I was talking about!

FactionMixer, this was my explanation! It was never the afterlife just some test!

Tris will return to Earth, but we shall have a small little chapter from Tobias's POV, the Earth one.
