Chapter 25 the lost mother
Chuck, Blair and their 2 children landed safely in Sydnee and waiting for their taxi to pick them up. They drove to the finest hotels around Sydnee and Blair took a nap as Chuck looks after the children. Taylor was playing with his baby sister.
Chuck again thought about his mother. She had seemed so far away, but here he could almost touch her. He never understood his father, and why Bart had hidden his mother from him, was she that bad that his own father never talked about her?
These thoughts came and went, but he had to see her tomorrow right now he need his two children to sleep because they were both getting fussy.
After a while Chuck mange to put his children to rest.

Next day Chuck's nerves were getting better of him and he was not sure if he wanted to meet his mother´s caretakers. Blair felt his worry and lay her hand on his shoulder and Chuck looks at her.
She kisses him softly and says" she love you". Chuck really wanted to believe her, but he still fear that his mother would turn him away.
They eat, but Chuck hardly eats and Blair orders his favorite coffee. She loves him and seeing him this nervous makes want to hold him forever until he stops worrying.
After they eaten Chuck and Blair got themselves ready to visit his mother's care center. The two children with them. The ride was slow and Chuck kept watching out of the window. The drove up to a nice villa with a big fence and a green lawn and nicely cute bushes around the fence.
They drove up to the gate and waited for the gate to open and let them in. The villa was huge and made more than one person to leave, but that made sense.
A lovey older woman greeted them; she wears white uniform and black shoes. Her name was Mary. Mary had been the caretaker for Chuck's mother Evelyn Bass and Chuck walks with Mary as she tells him about his mother. Blair walks slowly behind them to give them time to talk as she takes care of the children.
"Your mother was such a nice lady and she was very sick in her mind." Mary says as she leads Chuck down to the rooms. The room that was Evelyn's was still there because they had not yet gotten a new client for the room. The bed was small and the bedside table had a picture of a lovely young man. Chuck looks and sees his father in the picture.
"Your father often wrote to her."
Chuck sees the wall with latters and pictures with himself. His father had update his mother one what his life was going, this was hard for you to know that his mother knew about him, but he did not know about her. He had wonder all his childhood if his mother loved him at all.
The last place they saw was his mother's grave. It was nicely with white tulips and blue forget- me-nots. Chuck lay his own flowers and says "I love you mother".
Chuck knew in his heart that he had found peace with his feeling about his mother.
Blair was happy to see Chuck so relieve with this sight. Blair, Chuck, and the children were head out too eat and decide to look at shops and the go back to NY later the next day.
The shopping trip was fun ending up with Blair buying a new dress and both children getting a koala teddy and Chuck buying a new suit.
Chuck suddenly gotten end idea. He told Blair to take the children to the hotel and he would be back as soon as he could. He went into the most expensive jewels shop.
The woman in the shop looks at him with her biggest and brightest smile she would muster and says, "What can I do for you Sir?"
"I just want to look at an engaged ring," Chuck says calmly as he looks on the displays for jewels that was shown.
"Oh, this might be what you are looking for," the woman says as she shows Chuck the nearest display and Chuck looks at the rings and says, "the left one in the top."
She takes it out and he looks at it more closely. It is a silver ring with a bright blue stone and a very nice cute stone. Chuck says after he looks at the other rings, "I take this one."
She nodes and says, "Yes it is a nice pick and your girlfriend will love it." Chuck pays her and leave. On the way home, he goes to his mother's caretaking home.
Chuck asks if they have any of his mother's jewelers. The Nurses nods and gives Chuck a box that is clearly an old Tiffany's box with its blue color and silver written "Tiffany's" on it. Chuck opens the box to find very beautiful neckless and a ring that is an even more impressive ring then the ring Chuck just bought. He takes it op and he knows that Blair has to wear this as the finally weeding ring.
