"And now welcome our victor, for the 26th Hunger Games, Lydia from district 2!" Announces Thaddeus Capital, the famous Capitol talk show host and Announcer. The crowd goes wild in anticipation as their latest victor emerges behind a flowing golden curtain. She is guided to sit down on a large throne, one of two. On the other throne sits Thaddeus. It takes a while for the crowd to calm down, but when they finally do, Thaddeus begins to ask questions to the long awaited Victor. He starts off with a simple one, "So, Lydia, how do you feel? Are you alright?"

She waits for a second before she can get her words out, but she puts on a smile and says, "I'm great Thaddeus, how are you?"

Thaddeus smiles and replies, "Well i'm splendid, but this interview isn't about me. So, lets start off with the arena, did you like it?"

"Did I like the place I was forced into to kill another 23 people?" She says, shockingly making the Capitol laugh, "Well, yes. I thought it looked very beautiful."

"Hmm, this is nothing like the Lydia we all knew before you went into the arena, what happened?" Thaddeus asks.

"I... I grew up," She gets out with much hesitation, "If anyone thinks you can get out of the arena with pure luck, well, they're wrong. It takes hard work and a lot of skill." The capitol audience doesn't react much to her response, so Thaddeus continues.

"Of course, of course. And you did put in a lot of work. What was your training score, 8? 9?" Thaddeus asks.

"Yes, 9. I didn't show them my talent of using tiger claws however," This shocks the audience, who were completely dazzled by the girl with the claws, "I actually showed them my healing knowledge. I think you may have seen my using it during the games when I treated Flint's wound he got from the district 8 guy, on the mountain."

The Capitol is quite shocked, career tributes usually focus on strength when they enter the games, not mental ability. "Hmm... Ok, so lets talk a bit about your fellow tributes, we'll start with Alexander shall we? Ok so, Alex is your cousin right, how did you feel when he was killed during the finale."

Lydia pauses and she coughs before she can speak, to push the tears down that are swelling up in the back of her throat. "What am I supposed to say? Of course I was upset, but..." She pauses again, "But I guess if Flint didn't kill him then I would have to, and I would hate that even more."

"Ah yes, Flint, what did you think of him also?" Thaddeus asks.

"Well, I felt kind of bad for him. I saw his reaping, how he didn't choose to enter the games, he was reaped. I saw his training score, which overall, I thought was pretty unfair, because I saw what he could do in the training center. At one point we all tried this obstacle course, and he was the only one that actually finished in time. I felt bad for betraying him only a few days into the games, as well as the other tributes, but as least he made it as far as he did."

"And the finale, what was going through your head when you killed him?"

"I felt anger, I felt sorrow, but overall, I felt relief," She replies, "I can't get those images out of my head though, the volcanoes first erupting, Alex suffocating to death on the mountain, Flint as he fell and crashed onto the rocks. Last night those images tortured me in my nightmares, but I know I will have to live with them."

A buzzer goes off from behind the stage and crowd sighs. Thaddeus begins to end the show, "Well, that's all the time we have for now, but you'll all be able to see our newest victor when she visits your district in the Victory tour. I'm Thaddeus Capitol, thank you and goodnight." The crowd begins to applaud as both Lydia and Thaddeus bow, and makes their way off of the stage.
