A/N: You want to know why I haven't been posting...lol I owe you that much. I lost my home and cannot work yet due to personal issues with my family, so I'm stuck with no internet. Relying on the wifi from Mcdonalds or library should my son decide not to throw a fit when I lay him down. I swear he's teething.

But I will be ending this story, it's just not doing it for me anymore. However I'll re-read through these last 10 chapters and see if anything gets sparked. I am really in love with this story so I may try to crank one out once in awhile when I get inspiration. What do you want to happen?

Also, please check out my new story, "Summer Blessing"it's a new Jacob and Bella story, beginning where Edward leaves her and she's to face picking up the pieces. But finds solice in her best friend, it's even sweeter and funnier than this story. I actually laugh out loud when I re-read before moving on, so check that out please and review all the chapters.

I cannot stress enough how happy it makes me to see my inbox light up with reivews or PM's from you. With my life so miserable it would really pick me up. In the states it's Easter this weekend, happy holidays! Love you all!

Now that Jacob was at school I was in packing mode, not that I had much to pack but I was only leaving out the essentials. I was overly excited and it was still a few days off, I glanced at the phone and knew Jacob's orientation would be over in a few minutes and he promised to call before he left school. I would have to do my very best acting job, people always told me I sucked at acting though. We will see how well I can do.

I taped up the final bathroom box and dropped it next to the door as I heard my phone ring. I took a deep breath and dug it out of my pocket and turned the music off on the stereo. Claire De Lune would have to take 5.

"Hey Jake! How was orientation?"

"Good. Can I come now I miss you like crazy."He cut straight to the point and I was determined to do this.

"Oh, Jake...I'm so sorry. Julie from work called me this morning and asked me to go to her parents cabin on the other side of Seattle and I went with her."

Silence on the other end and I held my breath, either he bought it and is upset or he's trying to decipher this.

"Are you serious?" He finally spoke up, his voice full of disappointment.

I bit my lip out of habit, "Yes, I'm really sorry. I feel bad, but we will be back in two week-"

"TWO WEEKS?!" He shrieked and I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing out loud. "I can't see you for two weeks? I'm going to explode!" He sounded agitated.

"Jake, it's just two weeks. You'll get some, I promise."

"Th-that is not what I meant. How, why do you think that's all I think about?"

I laughed out loud this time, "Jake, because you do."

I heard him sigh but I could tell he was smiling, "I meant this *whispers the word pull * thing is harder than I thought, I barely made it through my day. Seeing you kept me going, now I can't for two weeks?"

I nodded, I was putting up a brave front but it was tearing at me too. "I know, I feel the same thing you do. But it'll be okay, it's a mini-vacation."

"I don't know...I might have to come see you in Seattle."

As feared, I knew that would happen and threw my second plan into action. "You can't Jacob, her parents are hunters and I'm not risking your life just to see you for a few minutes. I love you, but no."

He was silent a few moments and I heard a door open and then slam.

"Are you in your dorm? I heard a door."

"Yeah." I heard him sit down as he sighed, "Well, I guess have fun. You deserve to have fun, I left you I guess I deserve this."

He plays dirty, I smiled again and bit my lip. "Jake, this isn't a punishment. It was an opportunity to get my mind off of things."

"Why do you sound happy?"

I cringed, oops I was slipping! "I'm watching a parody on mute, it's pretty funny. Sorry, I'll shut it off. Tell me about Orientation!"

"Nothing to say, I mean we sat around like a bunch of freshman and listened to a speaker drone on for 6 hours about what to expect here and rules and what not. I have a resident meeting in an hour anyways, I'm sorry I guilted you."

"It's alright Jake, I understand. What's a resident meeting?"

"Meet with our floors resident adviser, go over rules of the dorm, meet other floor mates, that sort of thing." He crinkled a bag and I heard a microwave turn on.

"What's for dinner?"

"Some kind of soup, I dunno." Jake sounded annoyed that he was eating like a college student.

"Missing your home cooking I bet."

"You have no idea. So, I guess I should let you go so I can scarf this garbage down and get to my meeting. Can I call you before I go to bed?"

"Of course you can, I look forward to it. Love you!"

"I love you too, see ya."
