Everyone's POV
It was unusual for Piper to be up so early, but after yesterday's events, she fell asleep earlier than she normally does. Of course, it didn't help that she shared a room with an early raiser.
She was just starting to feel the oncoming boredness as she finished her breakfast. Allie was walking Scooby and everyone else wasn't here or up yet. Except for Tamaki and Haruhi that is. Tamaki came by his self to make sure Haruhi was fine and Haruhi was working. Right now, Tamaki was doing some planning in the corner. He looked so devoted to it that she didn't want to bother him. (It is very rare for him to be like that. She didn't want to ruin it.)
She was looking around the room when she noticed him. She froze just seeing him again. He looked better than he did the last time she saw him. He wore a white shirt under a leather jacket with dark blue jeans and dark brown boots. He was wearing his reading glasses. His hair was shorter than last time and even styled a little bit with his bangs to the left side. He had a high o'clock shadow as well. He was reading a book, alone.
She didn't know how he would react seeing her. Would he be cool or run away? They didn't have a horrible break up and never went farther than a kiss on the cheek. It is still awkward seeing an ex, even more so when you thought you wouldn't be seeing here anytime soon.
"Hey, Piper. Is something wrong?" asked Rory suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
"Ah, yea. Totally fine." Said Piper tearing her eyes away from her ex to look at her best friend "How are you today?" before looking at the door for everyone else.
"Good." Said Rory giving Piper a confused look. She then looked around the room and saw him as well. She quickly looked away and back at her friend before she noticed.
"Where is everyone?" asked Piper.
"Adrian is sleeping in and Jade is outside drawing." Said Rory "You know how she is. I am sure when Allie comes back that she will drag Jade inside to eat."
"Yea, she will go days without eating when she is drawing." Stated Piper quickly glancing at him "You want to go somewhere?"
"Where to?" asked Rory playing along. She knew the real reason Piper wanted to leave.
"I don't know. A walk, maybe?" asked Piper "Quick, before anyone else shows up."
"You can't run from him forever. You will see him eventually. You might as well get over the awkward first encounter. You moved on anyway." Whispered Rory.
"I know I should just get it over with. I don't want to do it right now." Whispered Piper "And you promised not to say anything about him."
"You are hopeless." Stated Rory. A week, or so ago Piper confessed a secret to Rory. Well, not confessed. Rather forced it out of her.
"I am so let's go." Said Piper getting up and almost making it to the door.
"Piper? Hey, Piper!" yelled her ex who got up from his table and jogged over to him.
"Ah, hi Nico!" said Piper turning around to face him "How have you been?"
"Pretty good. You?" Nico asked.
"Good. I got to go, see you later." Said Piper before turning to run away, but running into Allie and Scooby instead.
"Hey, Nico! Funny runny into you here." Said Allie once she got off the ground.
"Likewise." Said Nico with a playful grin.
"Hey, dude. How you been?" asked Adrian followed by everyone else. The twins came down stairs just then too.
"Been good. How about you guys? Seems like you made more friends." Said Nico looking around the group.
"No surprise for Rory thou." He joked before Rory gave him a playful push.
"Let's go sit down and catch up. Oh, first we have to introduce you." Said Rory as she introduce Nico to the Hosts.
"How do you know these guys?" asked the twins.
"He is friends with our brothers." Said Piper who reluctantly joined the group.
"Also he is…" Allie said before Piper stopped her. She whispered in Allie's ear before releasing her sister. They shared some twin communication before turning back to the group with faux smiles.
"Never mind." Said Allie to a confused group "Anyway, we have been great."
"Yea, You here visiting, or university?" asked Jade.
"Both. I go to Ouran University and I am here in Karuizawa visiting family for a few days." Said Nico.
"So, you have known these guys for a few years then?" asked Tamaki.
"Yea, for about two years now." Replied Nico glancing at Piper.
"You seeing anyone?" asked Rory.
"Yea, I am. What about you guys?" asked Nico with a smirk.
"Nope. None of us are seeing anyone." Said Adrian. 'But there are a few crushes in the group even if they don't realize it yet.' He thought looking around the group.
"What are you majoring in, Nico?" asked Honey.
"Law." Said Nico with a slight blush "I want to a lawyer like my grandfather."
"How's he doing?" asked Piper.
"Good; a few health issues, but doing well. He is old." Said Nico.
"So, do you have any stories about them?" asked Tamaki gesturing to the ones Nico knows.
"Yea, I do. Wanna hear some?" asked Nico with an evil smile.
"Yes!" said an excited Tamaki.
"If you don't mind?" said Honey.
"No, I don't. Hmmm…." Said Nico "Oh, I know a story."
"All right. When this two were ten, I was hanging out at the house with their brother's." said Nico with an evil grin. 'Oh, no.' thought both Piper and Allie.
"Well, these two decided to make cookies. Bad idea. They mixed up the measurements for the salt and used a tablespoon besides a teaspoon." Laughed Nico "And that wasn't the worse of it. They cracked eggs and had some of the shells still in it. They also burned the cookies."
"Imagine Percy and Will trying these cookies that look like lava rocks. Priceless." Nico said in between laughs. Everyone else was laughing at Nico's story. Everyone, but both set of twins. Allie and Piper were blushing while Hikaru and Kaoru were hanging out at another table away from the group.
"Please tell us more stories." Begged Tamaki as he wiped away tears from his eyes from laughing so hard.
"Alright, if you…" said Nico before he was interrupted.
"Why are you guys interested in these old stories? It is dumb." Said Hikaru "You can clearly see that there is more going on with Nico and Piper anyway. Why not talk about that?"
"That's rude, Hikaru." Scolded Allie.
"If you must know, we dated. It was mutual break up and we are still friends." Said Piper glaring at Hikaru. She didn't understand why he had a problem with Nico. At least, now he had a reason. That is if he liked her.
"WHAT?! You dated my daughter!" yelled Tamaki making Nico and Piper blush and everyone else laugh. Nico gave a confused look to Piper and she just shrugged and lipped 'tell you later.'
"Yea, a few months ago. And before you say anything, he is only two years older than me. He skipped a few grades and graduated early. We went on two dates and had a mutual break up." Piper emphasizing the last part as she explained "You just had a birthday, right?"
"Yea, I am seventeen now." Said Nico.
"You guys reacted like they grew extra heads or something." Piper said looking around the group.
"We were just surprised is all. Why didn't you say you dated? Daddy feels so…" Said Tamaki waving his hands around.
"Didn't think you would date." Stated Haruhi rather bluntly and interrupting Tamaki.
"Oh, thanks. I think." Piper said "Why don't we get back to the stories?"
"Hey, you guys! Don't you want to come over here and hang out?" asked Tamaki looking at the twins.
"NO THANKS! NOT INTERESTED!" Hikaru said back rather forcefully.
"Besides, can't that guy tell that we don't care about him at all?" said Hikaru nonchalantly.
"Hey, knock it off. He is our friend and I am not going to let you insult him like that. I could care less if you don't like him or want to hang out with him. You still should be nice to him." Said Piper glaring at Hikaru.
"Come on…who cares about other people? Look, we're the ones who are your friends! He is your ex! You should be over here with us, not flirting with him!" yelled Hikaru before he stormed upstairs followed by a concerned Kaoru.
"Their world is still….very small." Whispered Tamaki.
"I think I overstayed my welcome and I do have family to met up with. See ya, later!" said Nico as he backed up to the door.
"Bye." Said Piper as she turned to go for a much-needed walk. She needed to cool down. She was so pissed off. He had no right to act like that. 'That idiot.' She thought as she walked out.
"That could have gone better." Whispered Allie.
"Hey, Allie." Said Kaoru walking up to her later that day "I am sorry about earlier."
"It's not your fault and Hikaru should be the one apologizing." Stated Allie.
"Oh, I forgot you can tell us apart." Whispered blushing Kaoru rubbing the back of his head.
"Since I got you alone. I was wondering if you could go out on a date with me?" stuttered Kaoru.
"Sure. When?" asked a blushing Allie.
"Tonight work?" asked Kaoru.
"Yea, that will work." Said Allie with a huge smile.
"Good. Great. Umm, see you at seven then." Said Kaoru walking away "Oh, don't tell anyone thou. Ok?" He said turning to face her again.
"Well, since you asked. I won't" said Allie.
"Ok, see ya." Said Kaoru.
"Bye." Said Allie before running upstairs to get ready. 'Good thing Piper is still gone.' She thought as she walked into the room. It would be hard to explain this without going against Kaoru's wishes.

Hey, guys! Sorry for the late update. I had to rewrite this chapter. The first draft sucked in my opinion.
