Skullface: If you love music check out TheEnigmaTNG on youtube. You won't regret it. Also here is the conclusion to the whole Point Man/Liara subplot. Enjoy and sorry for those of you who were waiting. Also Shepard and Paxton have a little 'talk'.
Point Man was sitting down on his cot. Thinking back on what happened with Zaeed and Samara in that limbo he was stuck in. The third saved him from dying that was for certain. How much farther did he have to go, how long will it be until he can hold his sister and make sure she is safe and out of danger? But the third wasn't the only one on his mind, Liara who has been his friend since he's been on the Normandy has special interest into him.
It came to him a while ago back when Liara was patching him up when he was shot in the leg. Did Liara have feelings for him? What did she see in him? What does she hope in succeeding with him? Taking the time to reflect, the 32 year old man thought on and on about what will happen when his mission is done. Who would have thought he would wake up into the year 2185? Today marked the twenty ninth of August, so much has changed within him since then. He was apart of a team again.
And yet Alma his mother refuses to leave him. Worst yet, he now knew that mother was quite literally within him. When the Psychic Field Holder locked Alma into the chamber with him, her soul must have ventured within his very essence. If you think about it, it all makes perfect sense. Like blending two different colored eggs together, you get something that was different on the outside but is then the same on the inside. Did this mean that what ever Point Man thought, Alma could invade in his privacy?
He most certainly hoped not. What it did mean though, was that it would be explaining all the sudden headaches. They were from having two souls in the same body. The living shell cannot take that much room. The only reason Point Man isn't splattered all over the place yet, is most likely due to Alma focusing all of her power on keeping him from blowing up. She was fighting hard to keep him alive. A true mother wanting her boy to live so much, that she is drawing her power into him. It only made Point Man feel even more guilty for even hating her in the first place. Deep down he felt a great pain inside. Was it his? Or hers? Maybe both. Standing up and pacing around, Point Man pondered on what life would have been had mother raised him. Would he had join the Army? Would he have had a family? Would he had been able to celebrate every day with his mother and brother like a true family? Shutting his eyes, he thought of a place where he could be in peace. Mother had her garden, brother had his oblivion, but what about him? Calming all nerves, allowing his mind to be free to wonder Point Man began to daydream of someplace where he would feel at his most comfortable.
Clear sky with a blue sea, a forest colored to match fall. A ground covered in dirt and trees streaming with life. Deer ran by and a bear was walking through the soft brown earth. In the sky an eagle flew through the blue sea high overhead. Point Man walked past some trees and not long came to a creak. Water flowed nice and easily through the area, crystal clear water that sparkled like diamonds in a pot. Alma would find this place pleasing in her child form. Point Man began to approach the water. Inside were a bunch of fish. It all seemed just right to Point Man. This was his bliss, his little piece of tranquility. A heaven of his own.
Slowly the middle aged man sat on the ground cross legged allowing himself to cast off into this world. Away from all troubles. In his meditation he saw images of his mother, images of her reaching out to him when he was still in the womb. He was never a strong psychic, but mother kept trying. She was so eager to see him. He was so small that she could only see his still developing body inside her swollen stomach. She was looking forward to holding onto him. To being the one to give him a name, love, a home. To give him the world.
Did Alma kill for herself, did she really want to bring the end off all life to the world for revenge? Was it herself she was avenging, or was it her children? Point Man never thought it that way until now. Maybe this whole time mother wasn't being selfish, what if she was only trying to make the world theirs? Point Man could feel within himself weight being lifted from him. Was Alma here with him? Was she trying to tell him that she was doing for her family? Suddenly there was a warmth inside of him, he could feel a tingling feeling of peace. Nerves were being released and all stress lifted off. He felt like he was reaching Nirvana. This all felt uplifting. He was reaching inner peace.
"My baby..."
Point Man opened his eyes. He found himself back inside of the cargo bay. Taking in deep breaths he stood up with the feeling of powerful energy existing inside of his very body, mind and soul. For the first time, in a long time the man smiled. He wasn't worried anymore. Fettle, Kruger, the New Replicas. None of it bothered him anymore. He was alive! He still has the mission before him. But for now, he was going to live. You only experience life once...so why not enjoy it? He walked over to where his cot was, inside of the bag next to the leg of the cot was the bag with Monticristo cigars. Strange of Kelly to give these to never was a smoker. He only lit up one time back near the border of Russia. This was way back when he took part of a special operation regarding stolen information about a new chemical ballistic missile capable of destroying three cities the size as New York.
He could die at any given moment. Why not just sit back and enjoy a fine cigar for a change. Taking a seat, Point Man reaches into the bag and finds the box of cigars. Opening it up he takes a look at one of the opened cigars out side of its box. Picking up the long round shaped joint, Point Man places the cigar into his mouth. Only to realize he had nothing to light it with. Taking a deep breath he placed the cigar aside. So much for smoking right? Would Shepard be upset with him if he had though? It didn't matter. The cargo hold was big enough to evaporate the smoke.
"How are you feeling?"
Point Man looks up and is not at all surprised to see Liara standing there in her usual satire. Point Man just sat there. He knew that tomorrow he will be seeing Liara leave for her duties as the Shadow Broker. It was going to be hard seeing her go now. After everything, she's the reason he survived this long in Shepard's custody. Shepard could have ditched him off anywhere, but Liara not only vouched for him but kept his secret from everyone else. It must have been difficult keep such a huge truth like Point Man's from the rest of everyone's on the Normandy.
"Liara I'm actually glade to see you." Point Man says to her as he Sits up straight even though his back would much rather be slightly hunched over. He did his best to pull off a smile. Which as it turned out wasn't as hard since he'd gotten along well with the blue woman.
"Ghost I need to speak to you about something very important." Liara says as she keeps to almost modest stance.
"I could imagine." Point Man says in response to Liara's talk with him.
"I know that ever since we've first met each other, we never had a true moment to fully connect to each other. Except for me invading your mind of course." Liara brought memories back to when they first met each other. Shepard practically introduced them to each other in an odd way. He wasn't talking and they needed answers. But most of all Shepard just wanted Liara on the ship. The two had a steady friendship that if saw them talking to each other you would tell they were friends and neither would trade over their friendship. Hell everyone on this ship was family in a sorta way, a well trained and unstoppable combat family.
"You've done a lot for quite the number of people Liara. I've been able to get some information from other sources." Of course he was speaking about Liara's past experiences with Shepard on the original Normandy when they were first being caught in the Reapers deadly ploy.
"I can say the same about you." Liara mentions back. To which Point Man responds. "Well I'm not the one who saved the entire galaxy." It was a good counter, in honesty Point Man could probably never pull of what Shepard has done. She was the hero here. If anything she was someone people would look up to as a role model and be willing to die next to if given the chance.
"But you've fought creatures that I never knew existed Ghost. You were able to confront your own mother who was going to tear apart all of your world. In a way you saved countless lives. So if anything that counts you as a hero."
"But I'm no hero. Don't forget that I'm the one who destroyed half a city and inexplicably killed thousands of people. And not to mention killed his brother and was going to do the same to his unborn sister."
This caused Liara a huge draw back. She couldn't forget that part. what it must be to carry such luggage. Liara had to do something to let him know that no matter what would have happened, it was unavoidable.
"Ghost, what happened back then is not what defies you. It was impossible to prevent. You were only trying to stop your mother from tearing apart the world and possible the universe."
Point Man only shook his head, his mind going back to all those dead people back in limbo. Each of them blaming him for their demise. "Liara the disaster I caused is to big of a mistake I made that can't be fixed."
Liara gave a melancholy expression and then put a kind hand onto his shoulder. "I want you to know right now that no matter what, you aren't the one who knew that destroying the vault would cause a butterfly effect like the explosion. You destroyed the facility believing to save countless lives. If anything you were just fighting for what you believed in doing was right."
Point bows his head. Why was Liara doing this to him? Why does she have to try and make it all seem alright. Ever since he arrived he's been making life hell for everyone here. Especially for Shepard and Liara. If Alma was listening in on what was going on right now, he wondered if she would approve of his self loathing. He has to man up. He was a Green Beret after all and most of yet a F.E.A.R. operative still. In a way these people need him. Not just for the supernatural threat that stalks them, but because the Reapers are coming. if anything they need more soldiers like him. Harlan Wade once said he wold be a god among man. And you know what? He was right. In its own little way Point Man, Ghost was the evolution of the ideal soldier. Quick, professional and most of all unstoppable. A true god among man.
He was the perfect soldier, in every way of being one. "Liara please just, don't. I don't want sympathy. I know what I've done is unchangeable. I can only push on like the man I am." Point Man says to his asari friend.
Just then Liara crouches down to floor level and makes eye contact with the first born of Alma Wade. Shades of blue meeting an even deeper sapphire. It was in this moment that Point Man looked away from Liara. "Ghost...Ghost look at me."
Slowly Point Man looked back into Liara's gaze. He could feel two gentle hands stroke then wrap around his face. "I don't know why but every time I look at you I see more than a soldier who lives his life on the battlefield. Your not just a soldier...your a man. And when this is all over you can live like one"
"Liara-"
"No, Ghost."
"Please. Promise me you'll never stop fighting. Promise me that when this is over you will be by our side when the Reapers arrive. Promise me you will be standing besides all of us." Liara asks as she moves in to give him a hug. Point Man felt a bizarre sensation in his chest. He could actually feel his heart beat inside his chest. On instinct, Point Man placed his arms around Liara.
Heat radiated off of the other as they held onto each other.
"Ghost."
"Yeah."
"Can I kiss you?"
The words strike Point Man. Kiss her?
"Liara why would you want to do that?"
"Ghost, because every time it is that I look into you I see a man who through thick and thin has fought for what he believed in. You are the only living person who has seen things no one else could ever live to witness. You've saved your world from your own mother. In all of that you knew there were high chances of your death, and still you carried on. Like a warrior carrying the weight of his guilt trying to fix what he broke."
"So you're interested in me because I'm lucky?" Point Man asked Liara, to which the woman simply giggled.
"I'm interested in you, because your intriguing."
So she thinks I'm cute? Liara is that the only reason why? What about my mother? Aren't you afraid of her? What do you think she will honestly do if she realizes you have interest in me? So thought Point Man as he pondered on the possibility of his mothers wrath falling onto Liara.
"Liara, my mother. She...she find's you inferior. She wants me to carry out the legacy. She wants to seek out her wrath still. I'm afraid you'll get hurt. Things are dangerous. Are you sure you want this?"
"Ghost. I'm the only one here who has helped you and knows your true origin. It pains me keeping this from Shepard. But I don't know what she'll think if she knew who you really are. In truth I'm all you got."
Your wrong. Miranda knows but won't spill. Paxton seems to be keeping close watch of that.
"We come from different worlds, and different times Ghost. But a bond has been made. I feel comfortable around you. I know that while your around nothing bad will happen. Not that I need a protector or anything. But your something else entirely. And I like you."
Point Man couldn't take his gaze off those eyes. He was lost with things to say to her. Under a short period of time things between them moved from total fear, to pity, to something between a man and a woman. Did Liara love him? Was it even possible for them to even make this last? How can something beautiful blossom when something so ugly is happening all around them?
"Liara what about the Reapers? This will never work, how can two people be together when certain death is on the way?"
"Forget the Reapers. I'm here with you that's all that matters." In the next few seconds, Point Man didn't know what to say. He could only stare at this blue beauty who was before him. Her hands lightly brushing his face as he slowly moves his hand towards her.
"Kiss me."
"Liara your a very good person, hell your my best friend perhaps my only one here." Point Man says calmly as he looks at her, then takes his hands landing on her shoulders giving her reassurance. "But I can't be more with you. Believe me Liara you've done more for me than what anyone else has since I've got here in this, wild wild future world." Point Man says as he smiles at Liara his hands moving slowly around her blue cheeks. She responds to this by placing a calm hand over his.
"But I can't be with you romantically. There's just no way this will work out for either of us. With all that's happening around us, you being the new Shadow Broker and my family. I don't want to bring you into a relationship with my family. I'm sorry." He says almost sadly. Liara closes her eyes and takes a calming breath.
"I understand." She then gives a gentle smirk then says. "Ghost...your an amazing man. Some day I know you'll do something incredible. I want you to know right now that no mater what. Always remember your not the monster who others claim you to be. To me your a man with special abilities. Always remember who you really are on the inside and never forget that it is never too late to become something the galaxy needs more than ever." Liara says rubbing his cheek as Point Man smiles to her asking who it is the galaxy needs.
"Who might the galaxy need."
Within the next second, Liara planted a soft kind kiss on his cheek then said to him.
"A hero." Liara says as she stands up and Point Man follows her up. The two give each other a tight hug. "One day, someone is going to fall head over heels for you." He says assuring his friend. Both smile at each other and keep the silence alive for another minute till one of them decides to break the ice. "I still have another day on the Normandy Ghost. Any ideas on things to do till I leave?"
"How about a movie?"
"What did you have in mind?"
"I don't know...we'll find something together." Point Man said as he and Liara both sat down next to each other in search of a movie to watch together to pass what time they had left with each other.
Paxton Fettle was circling her as she stood under the white light beaming down on her causing her light completion glow and her red hair to look even more like a bright red than the dark blood color look it had. "you are the one mother wishes to carry out with my family's legacy. You are to be the mother of a new member yet I can hardly see why you'd be fitting. I wonder why mother chose father and now I wonder why she chooses you." Paxton says as he continued circling Shepard.
The marine only did what she thought wise and listend to this mysterious entity. This is Paxton Fettle, Alma's second born bastard child. Shepard thought as she observed him. To her he didn't look like much, she's read that he could manipulate peoples thoughts and has a strong connection towards Alma Wade. However, she didn't know what to expect from the phantom now that he was here. What powers does a spirit like him possess? What demonic forces can he summon?
"You must be curious," Paxton says with his snake like voice. "who am I. What do I want but most of all 'What is this?' am I correct?"
"I know who you are, your Paxton Fettle...second born of Alma Wade." Shepard states remembering the files that Miranda and her went over regarding Alma Wade and her sons.
"Then I take it you know my brother?" Paxton asks and Shepard nods her head while also saying yes. The files Miranda had showed her not only described Alma Wade but also her sons, one of her sons being Ghost.
"He's quite the quiet one. I can't even make out what goes on in his head. He's an enigma."
"That he is, he's never even bothered talking to me yet. But from what I can make out from the way miss T'Soni mentions him he's been open to her. Why though, why not me his own brother? I take it as a sign of deception. Of course he never was much of a brother nor was he ever much of a family man." Paxton replies as he thinks back on his brothers betrayals. Not only did he betray him his own brother, but also their mother. He would never accept them as his family. Always running away from the truth, but the truth always comes back even from beyond the grave.
"I've noticed my friends liking to him for a while yet but always shrugged it off as a simple sign of concern and nothing more. Why does this concern you?" Shepard investigates.
"Because I see her as an inferior as does mother...girl. I have little to no tolerance for her. She is an nuisance . A bug like the rest of all these others here. Compare them to me and I will squish them like the insects they are compared to my power."Paxton gloats mentioning on about his psychic abilities.
"You seem more bark than bite if you ask me." Shepard responds to Fettle's vanity not buying into his whole unholy unlimited power get go he was trying to make himself appear as. Phantom or not there was no way she was going to let this asshole talk about her crew and friends in such a way.
"Just so you know woman I am an immortal being, never to age or to be rid of this mark my brother put into my very head. Still I feel the pain of the bullet enlarged into my brain. Never to be rid of the echos of the past or of the feeling of my own brothers deception."
"Maybe you shouldn't have been such a complete nut job." Shepard snaps back at Paxton.
"Oh so I'm the bad guy in all of this? That may be, but I'm not the one who leaves a personal loved one to die in a fiery explosion now am I?" Paxton taunts Shepard, the woman clenches her fist and does her best to hold back her anger. The popping of her knuckles could be heard as she tightens her fist.
"Kaiden Alenko...such a kind man I presume. At least that's what I can dig up from hearing you in your sleep. How much you wished you would have picked him and Ashely both had there been a way. What is it that caused you to choose someone other than a beloved? Why choose miss Williams instead of Alenko...what went through your mind knowing you left him to die?"
Shepard wasn't going to put up with this anymore. He was pushing on some bounders no should ever cross. Yes she left Kaiden to die, yes she felt bad about it, yes she wished there was a way to save them both, and yes she chose Ashley because she was with a whole unit of soldiers from the Special Task Group. Shepard never wanted anyone to die on that mission, yet it was her call and her mistake she will live on with for the rest of her life. No she wasn't totally in love with Kaiden, but he was close enough than what ever other guy Shepard had been with.
"You fail to realize that all attempts you've made so far in stopping these Reapers have resulted in you only wanting them to bring their wrath down upon you more. When the end times come Shepard you will bare witness to the bodies that will lay out upon the streets, watch as cities are reduced to ashes. And in the middle of all of that there will be retaliation." Paxton says mentioning the war he sees in his dreams to Shepard.
"For the longest time I've wondered to myself when it will all happen. When will this time of great death and chaos begin? And now I am seeing it unfold slowly right before me. I've waited a long time for this day. The Reapers will come, and when they do. My family will bend them into our slaves. At least...that's what I plan on doing anyways."
Shepard couldn't believe what she was hearing Paxton wanted to control the Reapers and make them like the Replicas, puppets to his command?
"The Reapers can't be bargained or controlled. I know a certain Turian Specter who had thought the same. He ended up taking his own life." Shepard explains.
"Ah, but that is where you are wrong. I'm not a Turian, nor am I necessarily like Saren...I'm a powerful psychic being Shepard. Who do you think will have more control in a battle of wills? A Reaper with indoctrination capabilities or me a super psychic being with telepathic abilities and other unique capabilities?" Paxton smiled as he explained his psychic powers to Shepard and to his abilities being able to deflect the Reapers control.
"Listen here and listen good Fettle, say what you will about me but leave my crew and my friends out of it. You can boast all you want about how much more superior you may be compared to me and my team but if you were all meat and bones I would kick your ass! And just an FYI your brother may be a silent guy who's pissed me off in such a little amount of time, but he sure as hell is a lot less annoying than your sorry ass!" Shepard ordered not wanting to listen to him say another word. If this momma's boy thinks he can push me around then he's got another thing coming.
"How dare you speak to me in such a way. Compared to you I'm a god among man. I've killed hundreds through the control of soldiers who could massacre countless soldiers. Do you honestly believe you could get away with speaking to me in such a way?" Paxton demanded. To which Shepard responded speaking aggressively and with great anger.
"I believe that your a pussy who's all talk and no balls to do the rough shit." Shepard had to admit she never talked like this unless someone really touched the core of her temper.
With anger written all over his face Paxton was quick to come back with. "If you weren't of importance to mother I would..."
"God damn do you ever stop talking about your mother. Fuck do you have like an incest relationship or something, fuck your like obsessed with her. Talk about a real life Norman Bates ya' fuckin' wakko." Shepard put in with mentions of the movie Psycho.
Paxton was clenching his fist and eyes wide and berserk. In his fit of anger he couldn't see Shepard's right hand slowly glowing blue.
"Let me ask you something, little girl...do you honestly-"
Fettle was quickly interrupted as Shepard shot out a biotic throw tossing him thirty feet away. As he landed hard on his back, Paxton quickly rose to his feet anger swelling all around him that it caused his red misty aura to glow even more menacing with his rage. "You...bitch!" He shouted as he shout out a red plasma blast from his finger tips. Shepard was quick to deflect it as she used her biotcs to create a protect shield for her. The plasma from Fettle's attack splattered all over from Shepard's defense.
Within the next moment Shepard commanded from her biotics a shockwave. Her hand rising from underneath and sending out a pulsing wave of dark mater out, she watched as Fettle faded away to the side in a ghostly mist.
Using his telepathic powers, he grabbed a hold of Shepard and levitated her into the air. "No escape. He said as he was preparing to damage her. To his dismay however, Shepard using what power she had left of her hands to diminish Paxton's levitation.
Shepard fell to her feet and collected her breath.
Paxton using the opportunity at its best shot out two plasma blast from his hands. Shepard creating a biotic field around her hands held up her hands in a boxing like stance and prepared to deflect the missile attacks. Using quick adrenaline exhausting speed and reflexes she was able to knock away the plasma before the burning substance could melt away her skin.
Fettle quickly began to sprint towards her.
You wan't some, come get some. Shepard thought as she lashed out a pull field drawing in Fettle. When the specter was in arms reach, Shepard clenched her fist and used a kind of biotic sucker punch throwing the phantom away in thunderous loud crack.
As Paxton Fettle hit the ground face first, he slowly raised to his feet. This didn't hurt, more necessarily it was drawing away power from him.
"You want to go! Then come on!" Shepard shouted as she held up her hands prepared to fight tooth and nail.
"Ah," Paxton sighed as he began clapping his hands. "So that is why she chose you, your no different from us. Willing to kill for vengeance and filled with tragedy on the inside. You truly would make as an excellent member of The Family." Paxton said as he faded away into ash.
Shepard looked all around but could see only darkness.
Go now and fight for your feeble existence girl...fight for a lost cause.
Shepard opened her eyes to realize that she was once again in the confined spaced of the elevator where she had once been in before Fettle snatched her away. It didn't take Shepard long to realize what she had intentionally come down to the Cargo Bay for. She was intending on discussing why Liara had kept Ghost secret from her for this long. Shepard wasn't going to interrogate Liara, just ask her a simple question regarding on why she left out such key information from Shepard for this long.
Stepping out of the elevator while shacking her head from the massive migraine she was having, she looked outside of the widow showing the large cargo bay below her. So much space was down their that Shepard at times thought of making an obstical course but realized that her resources could have gone to things of more importance for the voyage that was ahead of her back when the Collectors were an issue. Now she was dealing with psychotic ghost and super soldiers who haver super enhanced reflexes.
Peeking a little bit to the left from where she stood, Shepard could see Liara sitting next to Ghost on his cot that Shepard issued him. From what it looked like the two were watching something on Ghost's omi-tool. The two of them were smiling and laughing from what it looked like. Watching them enjoying themselves Shepard thought back of her days when she had used to go out and watch movies with friends. Shepard wasn't jealous or anything, she was just happy to see Liara enjoying herself with the newest edition to the Normandy Crew.
Seeing two people being happy in each others company made Shepard smile and remember a time when all was just so easy. Questions can wait tomorrow. Shepard thought as she took one last look at Liara and Ghost sitting down and watching whatever it was they were watching. Bowing her head, Shepard turned back to the elevator and looked to the key panel. Still smiling at the thought of seeing her friend watching a movie with someone she liked kept Shepard with her smile.
You deserve to be happy...the both of you.
As the elevator doors close and Shepard headed back to her personal quarters. The elevator was a little slow but she was there in no less than a minute. As the elevator door opened Shepard walked over to her bed. Yawning and stretching her limbs she looked down at her officer uniform.
Maybe its time for a shower, been a long time since I got cleaned up.
Shepard looked to her shower and began walking towards her bathroom in the process of pressing the 'Feed' button on her little aquarium with all her various fish she collected. The little fish hurry to the surface of the aquarium to eat away at their food. Their little bodies danced in the blue light of the tank that glowed like a watery paradise. At least this is what Shepard thought when she would look at the little aquarium. She always wondered secretly when people will discover the lost city of Atlantis. To her the place existed and she knew that one day in the future the lost city will be found.
I don't care what Miranda says. A city that has been lost for centuries upon centuries out in sea is out there in the ocean somewhere back on earth. I know it!
In her shower Shepard was stripping out of her clothes and hopping in her shower. The door sliding close behind her the woman turned up the hot water and kept her face burried in the wall as she inhaled the warmth of the shower and let the smoky heat drench her bathroom.
After about seven minutes Shepard was scrubbing down on her body with a towel and looking at herself in the mirror. Her damp hair was dripping slightly but never lost its deep red tone. She had thoughts about getting her hair dyed a different color like how she used to when she was seventeen and going through phases. Of course she had to let her hair go back to its original red when she enlisted into the Alliance Marines. wrapping the towel around her Shepard walked out of her bathroom and went for her drawer.
Finding some spare muscle tee and a pair of woman's boxers she slipped them on and went to bed. Slipping under the covers Shepard stretched and closed her eyes. But for some reason she found herself being unable to fall asleep. She looked over to her clock and saw that the time was around 23:34. It was getting close to midnight or whatever midnight counted for out in space.
Slipping out of covers, Shepard wet for her copy of the popular FPS shooter P.A.N.I.C.S. she loved playing this game. She played it through the first day she got it. Never had she played a game with more action and slow motion before. The AI in the game was pretty cool too. The enemies were always tough and had some of the best AI in the galaxy for strategic FPS games. In the game you play as some guy who always wears this black mask and blue goggles who is only known as the Scout or Operative by his commanders and fellow squad mates. The game follows on through as the Scout is sent in to investigate a huge corporate facility occupied by super soldiers who are controlled by a guy who in the end of the game turns out to be your brother and the two of you are the sons of a ghost girl named Ellie who is seeking revenge on her mother and her company for turning her into a powerful psychic.
This game was considered by many to be a hit and was a favorite of Shepard's. She even bought its sequels and played through them all as well as the third game which still was waiting for its fourth installment which she hope would be released before the Reapers arrive.
She played and beat this game over 59 time already and was aiming to play it more.
Michael Becket was alone. Completely alone and far away from anyone else. Should he be happy, should he jump up in joy over this? He was a prisoner for over a whole century and a half. Stockholm syndrome never got to him, he never pitied Alma Wade. In all honesty he hated her for everything she has done to him and those around him. Alma was a monster that almost brought doom on everybody in the whole world. Yet Alma only did it because she wanted revenge.
For some reason though he felt an emptiness inside himself. There was no one here in this garden except himself. Alma was the only company he ever had, although he hated her she was all he had besides Paxton Fettle who is the reason why he is dead. Regret was building in him, he missed out on his own child's birth and now here he was feeling sorry for himself while out there she was waiting for him. He knew that the first born bastard of Alma Wade was out looking for his sibling and for a driven reason Michael wanted to find his kid. Whoever he or she was Michael wanted to meet him or her. Fettle so far has kept all records of discovery of the child to himself. All Becket new was that the child was now a ghost like the rest of them and he or she was out there trying to become freed from her captives.
Silently in this garden of Eden Michael swore to himself. "I will find you...child of mine."
Skullface: How about Shepard and Paxton's little talk huh? Sorry but I want to end the chapter here. I hope it was good to you guys and that if you spot any errors you'll all let me know. Also I finished up another chapter and will post it tomorrow.I haven't been updating as much due to all these awesome new games that I've got. Deus Ex Human Revolution (Thank you Alardem for mentioning this awsome game to me) Assassins Creed 3 and lastly Dead Rising. I've also been busy watching the movie edited version of Bioshock Infinite (I can play the game due to me having to pay money for more important things) and also watching the movie chronological version of Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain. (Both really good games from what I've seen) Sucks how I don't have a PS3. Anyways I hope you all like the chapter and just to let you know that probably by next month during late November I might be done with this story. Oh and does anyone have any recommendations towards good games please since xmas is coming along so I can prepare my list, I would appreciate it.
PS.
If you like horror games check out The Evil Within.
