YEAHHHH I wrote a chapter. ANd its all thanks to you. I took your opinions and kind of smashed them into one so I hope its to your likeing and for those whos stuff isnt here I will try to put them in later on.

(Dedication: FallenAngelwings-you are right there needs to be more Ed and Al loving, So here you go, there will be more in later chaps... awesomesauce (HAHA FUNNY)- Also some Ed al loves and will have some Roy thrown in next chapter so dont worry... ms cheerful- Lost Ed, this might not be what you had in mind but I can get some Lost Ed later on if you wish :D )

Chapter 24: Part 1 Brother's

"Speech"

'Thoughts'

Ed's Pov

I don't remember much of the weeks following the day of the man's awakening. It was slow and quiet considering the commotion of the day he finally woke. Everyone was worried, even myself though I didn't really think on it to much. Then the man woke and everyone was happy, but why was Dad still sad. He spent his time at work and then in his home study. He was like a dead person, rings under his eyes, dead cold eyes. He no longer smiled at me, he didn't smile at all. Did I do something wrong? All I knew was that something wasn't right and I hoped he snapped out of it soon.

General Pov

Ed was walking up the stairs to the second floor of the house. He continued through the hallway toward the one light that seeped through an open door. It was Roy's study, with said man inside like he always was the past week. Ed slowly looked into the room at the back of his Dad who was slouched in his chair. Ed didn't enter, only looking though the door way, scared of the mood he might be in. Ed had heard the yelling between his Dad and Riza, it had been scary but it ended quickly. Riza was now in the kitchen making supper, and Roy had shut himself in the study.

Slowly Ed finally entered finding the courage to talk to his dad. He got to the middle of the room before he finally stopped and stared at his back. After a while he finally spoke "Daddy."

Roy didn't even flinch or show any sign of hearing Ed. He continued to stare down at the papers on his desk.

Ed shrunk back a little before trying to get Roy's attention once again. "Dad?"

Roy finally moved slightly but didn't say anything. He only lifted his head some before returning to stare at the papers.

"Dad"

"What?" Roy finally answered back. He didn't turn around.

Ed started to shake slightly at the tone of Roy's voice. "Dad ok?"

Roy didn't move, "No, I'm busy so go play."

Ed didn't move, Sara always said that when people are not ok that they needed someone to make them feel better. He slowly walked forward. "Maybe take break, Make you feel better." He reached out to grab Roy's sleeve. "Sara say that being with others help-"

"I SAID I WAS BUSY, I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE, NOW LEAVE."

Ed froze just inches away from Roy; tears began to build in his eyes. He dropped his hand and walked back toward the door. He turned and looked back at Roy one last time before walking away as the tears fell.

Al ran up the stairs to his Dad's study. He entered and looked at the man at the desk with a sad face. "Hey Dad dinner is ready."

Roy looked back at Al and grunted in response before looking back to the desk.

Al frowned and shook his head. 'I know he has a lot on his mind but does he has to be rude.' Al then went to Ed's room to get him. He wasn't down stairs so Al figured he was in his room. Al walked in, "Hey Ed dinner is-" Al stopped and looked around; Ed wasn't there. Al looked around in confusion, he then checked the other bedrooms but he wasn't there either. 'Weird.' Al then ran down the stairs into the kitchen. "Hey mom, have you seen Ed, I can't find him."

Riza, who was setting the table, looked up at Al. "Did you try his room?"

Al nodded, "Yeah I tried all the rooms he isn't there."

Riza frowned and looked around the house. She then headed for her husbands study. She walked in and grabbed the man by his arm to turn him around. "Have you seen Ed?"

Roy looked surprised for a moment before shaking his head. "No, I've been in here all day."

Riza narrowed her eyes, "Did he come in here at all?"

Roy shook his head, "No, the only one who came in here was Al; I told him I was busy. If you cant find Ed try his room, he's most likely in there."

"No he isn't, I checked." Al shot back. "And I have been down stairs with Mom all day; I didn't come up here at all."

Riza's grip lightened up on Roy's arm before dropping. She thought for a moment and then quickly grabbed Roy's collar and slammed him on his desk. "WHAT DID YOU DO?"

Roy stared in shock, "I didn't do anything."

Riza gripped him harder, "Don't you give me that bullshit, and I know you well enough. If it wasn't Al that came up here then it was Ed, and now we can't find him. So I ask you again. What did you do?"

Roy looked in shock at his wife, "I was trying to work and I didn't want to be bothered, so I asked him to leave. I thought it was Al, I didn't know."

Riza looked ready to kill any moment, thanks to her husband's stupidity. "You didn't know, DAMMIT ROY, you never know. You've been ignoring your family for a week and in this damn study doing who knows what. And when someone tries to help you, you go and snap at them. Now you go and say something like that to the poor kid, don't you even realize what saying something like that to Ed might do." Riza released him before standing back from him. "You were supposed to be his father for him, not this cold heartless bastard I see now. If this is how your going to act then maybe you should leave cause not even I want to see you right now."

Riza turned around and left Roy on his desk in shock. She grabbed her coat, "Al grab your coat we have to find Ed." Al followed her lead and they left the house to find him. Riza walked down the sidewalk, 'If anything happens to him I'm going to kill Roy.'

Al ran down the sidewalk yelling Ed's name. It was slightly cold outside for the winter months were upon them. Riza had gone in the opposite direction so they could search more ground. Al had made it a block already and there was no sign of him. Al had asked some random people walking by but no one saw him. Al was worried, after all Ed was his brother even if not by parents. It was starting to get dark and if they didn't find him soon then- Al didn't want to think about it.

He continued down the road and it was getting colder and darker. He wondered if his mom had found him by now and was tempted to turn back when something caught his eye. Across the road was the park that his dad use to take him to. 'Maybe Ed was there.' Al checked for cars before running across into the park. He called for Ed a little but he didn't see him. He almost left when he heard something, 'it sounded like, crying?' Al listened closely and followed the sound.

It was coming from the large tunnel near the playground. Al remembered he use to hide in there when playing hide and seek. He approached carefully and kneeled down to look inside. There was a child curled up in the middle of the tunnel, it was Ed.

Al slowly got down on the ground and slightly entered, "Ed, you ok?"

Ed flinched away from him and continued to cry.

Al felt bad for him and then decided to climb in after him. He slowly crawled in and sat only a couple of inches away. He then settled himself into a comfortable position. He stared at Ed for a few minutes before putting up his hand for Ed.

Ed didn't budge nor attempted to return Al's gesture. It was obvious ed wasn't going to talk.

So Al did first. "You know we were really worried." He paused. "I was worried; I was also scared that something bad had happened when I couldn't find you, I looked everywhere. I don't know what I would do if something had happened. I really care about you, I don't want you to be hurt. I don't like it when you're hurting, it makes me sad. You should be smiling and laughing, because you deserve to. I'll do anything to make you happy again."

Ed looked up slightly, "Why you care?"

Al looked taken back, but then smiled, "Because silly, I'm your brother. It's what we do, we care for one another."

"I not real brother." Ed said.

Al nodded, "Yes you are, it might not be by parents but you are my brother and you will always be my brother. That's all that matters." Al shifted closer and hugged Ed. Ed latched on and began to cry into Al's shoulder. They stayed that way for a while before Al noticed Ed was shaking. 'He looks cold.' Al looked closer, 'The automail, I remember Winry talking about cold weather and what it does to automail.' Al took off his coat and put it around Ed.

Ed looked up and smiled, "Tank you." He leaned into Al for warmth. "Does Riza care?" Ed asked all of a sudden.

Al looked at him and smiled, "Of course. She got really worried when she noticed you were gone. She really cared; she almost beat up Dad about it."

Ed stiffened at the mention of Dad and Al noticed. "Dad no wants Ed no more. He say to leave."

Al hugged Ed tighter, "No, no, no, He didn't mean it. Dad was just upset, he sets that way sometimes. He still wants you."

Ed cried harder, "HE YELLED AT ED. He yell when try to make feel better."

Al was starting to tear up, "I know, that wasn't right of him. He never should have yelled. He was a big bastard wasn't he."

Ed slightly laughed, "You swear."

Al chuckled as well, "Yeah, but its ok cause its true Dad is a bastard."

Ed nodded and further leaned into Al.

They stayed that way for awhile before Al heard a voice. "ED, AL." It was Riza who was looking for them both. Al slowly let go of Ed and crawled out of the tunnel. It was really dark, 'I didn't notice how late it got, mom must be freaking out.' Al looked around and found her walked by. "MOM, over here."

Riza stopped in her tracks and looked toward the voice of her son. She saw him over by the playground. She ran over, "Al, didn't you find Ed?"

Al turned around and helped Ed out of the tunnel. "Yeah, I found him."

Riza finally got to her son in time to see Ed getting out of the playground tunnel. "Are you both ok?"

Al nodded, "Yeah were ok, we had a nice chat and everything is ok."

Riza sighed and then grabbed them both into a hug. "Good, that's good." She then let go of Al and kneeled down in front of Ed. "You ok Ed, you're not hurt."

Ed nodded and smiled weakly.

Riza closed her eyes for minute and when they opened there were tears falling. She hugged Ed, "Don't you ever do that again. I was so worried, I thought, I thought- never ever again you understand." She sobbed.

Ed nodded and hugged her back, "I sowwy, I won't do again. Dad scare Ed, he bastard."

Riza looked at him in shock, "What did you say?"

"It's my fault I called Dad a, a bastard and that's why Ed said that," Al quickly cut in.

Riza stared at Al and then to Ed and smiled, "I guess we can let this one slide, Roy after all is being a, well you know." She wiped her eyes and then looked at her boys. "Come on lets go home, dinner is getting cold and you look hungry." She smiled at Ed.

Ed nodded and then raised his arms up. Riza smiled and picked him up into her arms. Al smiled and smiled at Ed who watched him from Riza's shoulder. Al reached up and grabbed Ed's hand hanging there. Ed smiled and gripped Al's hand in return, his brother's hand.

AWWWWWW hows that for Brotherly love. I'll make sure to have more of these moments from now on after all Ed needs the LOVES. AND ROY YOU BASTARD, how could he be so cold hearted. oh wait I made him do that. XD lets all hate on Roy.

Now all we need is some Roy Ed talks next chapter, he better cause Ed very upset. :( dont worry he will
