Chapter 25: Finally Together Again

Zim P.O.V.

I sighed closing the front door behind me as I stumbled to the couch. I had just finished repairing Kim's vehicle and walked back after driving it to their house.

"Hey Zim?" I heard Jade as Dee-Dee bounced over to me. I looked up at her smiling face.

"Guess who's back?" she asked motioning to Emma's room.

My antennae perked up and I smiled running into her room. I saw Emma in her bathroom drying out her hair in her pajamas. I assumed she had just gotten out of the shower. I could see she had a few bruises and bandages on her body. I walked up to her slowly and wrapped my arms around her middle and rested my head on her shoulder.

"Zim?" she gasped.

"I'm happy you're back, my love." I whispered.

She set down her hair dryer and turned to me kissing my cheek. "I was worried about you Zim. When I came back and you weren't here I almost thought something happened to you." she smiled hugging me back.

We shared another kiss before we went back into Emma's room and sat down on her bed.

"How's Lily?" she asked.

"She'll be just fine. But it'll be a while until she is well enough to wake up and even then she may be very weak."

"Poor thing. I'm just glad she's okay."

"Yeah. So where's Trixie?" I asked.

Emma didn't say anything. She only lowered her head and sighed gazing around the floor. I understood everything just from her expression.

"Oh." I muttered.

"What are we gonna tell Lily?" she asked looking back up at me.

"It'll be fine. We can do it." I said with a small reassuring hug.

"Thanks Zim. I love you." Emma smiled lightly kissing my lips.

I hugged her tight and kissed her passionately. It had seemed like forever since I been able to see her and feel her though in reality it had been less than a day. We kissed for a few more minutes before I noticed her body going slightly limp and her eyes fluttering shut. I laid her down on her bed and pulled the covers up to her neck.

I cuddled with her for a few more minutes until I saw she was completely asleep. I kissed her forehead and got up, leaving the room and closing the door quietly behind me. As much as I loved staying with Emma I had promised Lily I'd stay at her side.

"Computer? What's the progress on Lily's new Pak?" I asked.

"100% built 99% downloaded" the computer responded.

"When she's attached make sure you put her in her room. I want her to wake up comfortable."

"Yes master."

Lily P.O.V.

It was dark. Everything was dark. I was all alone in a strange place, the only light coming from above me creating a small white circle around me. I stood up and tried to look around but the light around me seemed to be the only thing there.

"Hello..?" I squeaked.

Soon different colored pairs of eyes appeared in the darkness. They were all around me until a pair of red eyes came closer to me.

"nEXt TiME...yOU wOn'T HaVE yOuR FrIEnDs OR yOUr fAmILy tO SaVe YOu…" it growled lowly.

I backed up as it swirled around me, covering me in a black smoke. I covered my head and heard the voice laughing. I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to block it out and suddenly it disappeared.

I slowly opened my eyes as I felt a numbness all over. I saw the ceiling of my room and a shadow sitting over me.

"Lily?" It was Daddy's voice.

"D-Dad..?" I whispered.

My eyes cleared up and I saw Daddy looking down at me, sitting down next to my bed. He looked really tired. I slowly sat up and a sting hit my head. I felt dizzy all of a sudden.

"Easy Lily. You shouldn't try to get up." he said gently pushing me back down.

"Where's...Mommy?" I asked.

"She left for her first day of Skool hours ago. You've been unconscious all day. She should be back soon." Daddy hugged me and yawned.

"Lily?"

I looked up and saw Gir tearing up in the doorway. He ran up and crawled himself onto my bed. He gave me a tight hug and cried into my shoulder.

"I'm so sowwy Lily! You almost died cuz of me!" Gir cried.

I hugged him back and sighed. "What are you talking about Gir? You've been saying that all week." I asked.

"I think I know." Daddy said putting a hand on Gir's shoulder. "Lily your Game Slave. How exactly did it break a few months ago?"

"Well...Gir took it and when he tackled me it flew up and landed on a counter in your labs." I said trying to remember if there was anything else.

"That panel has my old auto-dial for the Massive. Your Game Slave must've hit that button. And that's how they found you."

Gir sniffled and looked back at me. "I-I'm so sowwy Lily…"

I sighed and hugged Gir again. "You didn't mean to. It's okay." I said.

"Your n-not...mad?"

I just smiled and kept hugging Gir. He hugged me tighter and my antenna twitched when I heard the front door open.

"Zim?" I heard Mommy call.

"In here Emma." Daddy called back.

Mommy walked in with a purple backpack slung over her shoulder and gasped at me. "Oh my god Lily! You're okay!" she ran up and hugged me. Mommy picked up out of my bed and cuddled me with a big smile on her face. Daddy stood up and hugged us both and Gir jumped on his head. We all smiled and hugged for a little while longer then Mommy set me down again.

"Lily. There is something we want to give you." Daddy said pulling out a small purple box.

"It's a new friend to help keep you safe." Mommy added pushing the box to me.

I peeked inside and at first I didn't see anything but then something burst out of the box. I screamed a little and looked up to see a tiny floating purple moose. I stared at it in awe and it squeaked.

"Nya!"

I giggled a little.

"This is an old robot of mine. His name is Minimoose." Zim smiled.

"H-hi, Minimoose." I smiled.

Minimoose hovered over to my and nuzzled my head.

"I reprogrammed him to be your personal robot moose guard. That way you'll always be protected and never be alone."

"Nya!"

I looked back at Minimoose and he stared back with a tiny smile and big eyes facing opposite directions. I grabbed him and hugged him with a big smile on my face. "Thank you Daddy! I love him! He's perfect!" I laughed.

"NYA!" Minimoose happily squealed.

Mommy laughed and sat next to me. "We're so lucky you're okay Lily. We almost went insane without you." she said hugging me.

"I almost did too. Mom? Dad? Gir?...I love you." I said hugging Mommy back.

"We love you too Lily. Come on. Let's go get you something to eat." Daddy smiled, helping me out of bed.

I was glad everything was over but I still felt like there was something still after me. But my family and friends WILL help me. I know it.

They wouldn't let me down.

AN: Well there we go. OF COURSE I WILL MAKE ANOTHER ONE! I left heavy foreshadow for a third and final story but it will be a very long time. But trust me it'll be big and I mean BIG so don't worry about that. Sorry the stories over but I'll add an epilogue at some point and then this is done! Yay! :D But seriously I loved writing this story and you will be getting more for this series at some point. See ya for now!
