First off, I want to apologize. It's been…3-4 years? Life clearly happened and uploading to Fanfiction wasn't on the top of my to do list. Personally, I don't think that's an adequate excuse, especially since there are people who've written these lovely drabbles and sadly, the world hasn't seen them yet. Thus, I'm going to upload the last few chapters of PD to honour those who have contributed to this project as well as those who followed this fic over the years. I owe all of this to you and I thank you for the wonderful journey FanFiction has given me. Your personal messages, reviews and fics have warmed my heart and gave me hope that this small town science geek could be creative and be a part of a welcoming community.
Ugh, even uploading this, I totally forgot how this site works (please excuse my mistakes, if any). As well to the authors of these stories, there might be cases where you don't necessarily want these stories out in the open at this time. Completely understandable and entirely my fault for falling off the wagon. Just shoot me a private message immediately and I can remove anything you don't want up.
And to my readers, thank you again and enjoy! (And as usual, my authors notes are longer than the actual fic…some things never change.)
~Post-Exam Craziness~
"I think you'd be a good nerd," Otto regarded Laura with detail.
"Um…alright Otto," she replied, not taking her eyes off her advanced cryptography textbook.
"What's this about Otto?" Shelby asked, settling herself in the chaise beside Laura. It was the day after exams had finished and everyone was suffering from, what Wing termed fondly, 'post-exam craziness'. Otto seemed to be especially affected which, to Shelby's entertainment, provided to be good fun. Laura, on the otherhand was still studying (for what? who knows?) and Wing was being bombarded from 'post-exam crazy' girls (who were twice as Wing-crazy as usual).
"I'm trying to see what characters everyone would be if my life were a cliché teenage movie. Laura, I've concluded, would be the typical nerd who is always studying," Otto gestured to the red head.
"Who would I be?" Shelby asked, suddenly very interested.
"Hmm," Otto carefully surveyed Shelby. Finally he spoke with certainty, "You'd be the head cheerleader type. Girly and popular, yet devious and cunning."
"Cunning and popular? I like the sound of that," Shelby grinned mischievously.
"It's because you fit the profile so perfectly!" Otto said gleefully, clapping his hands together in excitement.
"What about Mr. Tall, Dark and Humourless over there?" Shelby asked, looking at Wing, who was currently evading a fox-looking brunette shamelessly trying to get a 'selfie' with him.
Otto didn't even need to think about that, "He's the popular quarterback. All the ladies love him but he's with the head cheerleader."
Shelby seemed to be content by that. Conversely, Wing was in the background, astounded by the life-like body pillow in his likeness (shirtless and all) that was presented to him by a crowd of first years.
"Hmm oddly true..." Laura put down her book, "But what about yourself?"
He smiled bashfully, "Isn't it obvious? I'm the mysterious pretty boy that all the girls swoon over..."
"More like annoying smart ass with a big ego," Shelby muttered.
The two girls laughed at the poor albino while he grumbled something about being 'an annoying smart ass that all the woman swoon over'.
Wing, who was trying fight off the ladies that were wrestling him to the ground, finally spoke up, "I don't see any body pillows made of you!"
