I am so sorry guys! This update kinda late but I got distracted by my recent readdiction to Stardew Valley so I found myself playing that rather then writing. Even though I kept telling myself I would update I got distracted and ended up procrastinating doing it. So it's like 1:40 am and I am now writing this chapter for you all. But enough about all that! Time for the chapter! Hope you all enjoy!

Mistfall caught sight of Fireheart on his way to Bluestar's den as she returned from a hunting patrol. Remembering their conversation from yesterday Mistfall doubted that he had heeded her advice and placed her prey on the pile before hurrying over to Fireheart and blocking his path.
"What are you hurrying to Bluestar for? What did you find out?" Mistfall asked in a calm manner but anxiety pulsed through her.
"Well...it turns out that Stonefur and his sisters have Thunderclan blood. Graypool isn't their real mother and Oakheart brought them to her to raise." Fireheart said in a hushed tone.
"What does that have to do with Tigerclaw?" Mistfall asked softly as she tried to keep down her sense of urgency and the desire to keep the secret that she had promised to take with her to Starclan.
"I don't know but I have to tell Bluestar what I know." Fireheart said.
"Fireheart I am telling you now. You should leave out the Riverclan cats. They have nothing to do with Redtail's death and tell no cat about what you know." Mistfall said in a soft urgent tone.
"What? Why?" Fireheart asked confused.
"Because it is irrelevant to Tigerclaw." Mistfall said as she met Fireheart's gaze praying to Starclan he would listen to her.
"I have to talk to Bluestar." Was all Fireheart said as he walked away. Mistfall let out a hiss of frustration and looked up to see the suspicious glance of Tigerclaw as he stalked past with his patrol. She met his gaze and her tail tip flicked. Mistfall had a feeling that Fireheart hadn't listened to her when she saw Fireheart hurriedly leave Bluestar's den. Mistfall picked up a bit of prey and padded over to her leader's den.
"Bluestar it's Mistfall I wanted to know if you wanted to share some prey with me." Mistfall said as she sat at the entrance of the leader's den.
"Come in." Bluestar answered and Mistfall walked in carrying the prey she had brought. She pushed her way into the nursery to see an expression on her leader's face she hadn't seen since that night.
"What's wrong Bluestar?" Mistfall asked in a concerned tone even though she already knew the cause of her leader's distress.
"Fireheart has been coming to me with some pretty big accusations towards Tigerclaw and in his digging for evidence against Tigerclaw he found out that Stonefur, Mistyfoot and Mosscloud are part Thunderclan." Bluestar said as Mistfall set the prey down in front of her leader and settled down.
"I have noticed a lot of hostility between those two lately. He doesn't know you are their mother right?" Mistfall asked watching as Bluestar took a bite of the freshkill.
"No I don't believe he does and I hope he never finds out." Bluestar said after she swallowed her bite of the prey.
"I will do what I can to make sure he doesn't find out. If you want I can keep an extra eye on him. Make sure he doesn't get in trouble because he's chasing rumors." Mistfall offered trying to ease her leader's mind while telling herself she would claw Fireheart's ears when she got her paws on him.
"Yes that sounds like a good idea. Thank you Mistfall." Blustar said with a grateful nod.
"Of course. It is just like young cats to get in trouble. Plus he still seems to need to get used to the way the clans work. I am sure he will settle down as soon as he gets another apprentice to distract him." Mistfall said as she ate.
"You're probably right." Bluestar said thoughtfully as she and Mistfall finished the rest of their meal in silence.
"Thank you for sharing prey with me." Mistfall said once they had finished eating.
"Thank you Mistfall. You've grown to be a great warrior. I am proud to have you as a part of Thunderclan." Bluestar said and Mistfall felt warmth run through her at her leader's praise.
"I had great warriors around to learn from." Mistfall replied as she left her leader's den and tensed when she saw the tense exchange at the camp entrance. She stalked over in time to hear Tigerclaw's words which made her growl softly.
"I always said bringing kittypets into the clan was a bad idea."
"Nice to see your hatred for cats better then you still stands." Mistfall said without thinking making the deputy whirl around to face her. Dustpelt looked at her shocked.
"What was that Mistfall?" Tigerclaw asked.
"Nothing O great deputy. It's just so like you to be picking on other cats. Just brings me back to the day I go this scar. Do you remember? A couple of helpless kits you viciously attacked. Oh wait! You don't care because they were just kittypets but you get to see one of them every single day. I am living breathing proof that kittypets are just as good and sometimes better then cats born to the forest. If I hadn't said anything I am sure no cat would've known because most of the cats who know are dead or don't find it relevant to talk about. Maybe you should stop spreading around all this hatred. Stop putting so much pressure on the kittypets in this clan. If you put them down less maybe they can do things that'll surprise you. Cats who can't see past their own hatred aren't fit to be warriors." Mistfall said with a bit of venom. Dustpelt stood staring at her speechless and Fireheart stood stunned. Sandstorm looked between Tigerstar and Mistfall seeming just as shocked.
"You should be more respectful Mistfall. That is no way you should talk to your deputy." Tigerclaw said in a calm tone but the look her gave her was menacing. If Mistfall had been a different cat she might've shrunk under the deputy's sharp gaze but she stared back and held her head high.
"What deputy?" Mistfall asked in a calm and icy tone which made Tigerclaw bare his teeth. The two stared at each other tension thick in the air but Mistfall wasn't going to back down. She didn't move till she felt a familiar pelt brush against her.
"Mistfall calm down. I am sorry Tigerclaw but she gets riled up sometimes and she hasn't been sleeping well lately so she has been on edge." Eaglepelt said and Tigerclaw tore his gaze from Mistfall and looked at Eaglepelt.
"Well keep an eye on her. She might get herself in trouble if she talks that way to the wrong cat." Tigerclaw said and Eaglepelt nodded as he pushed Mistfall away and guided her away from any prying ears. Once he was satisfied with the distance he turned to face her and sat down.
"Are you okay?" Eaglepelt asked her with a concerned look.
"Yes I am fine." Mistfall said meeting his gaze.
"Are you sure? I have never seen you act like that before. I know this whole kittypet thing bothers you but you can't talk to the deputy that way. Something is bugging you." Eaglepelt said looking at her with concern.
"I promise I am okay." Mistfall said trying to reassure him. But Mistfall felt on edge and stressed out with the dreams she had been having and Tigerclaw.
"I am here if you need to talk." He said as he touched his nose to her head.
"I know." Mistfall said but she knew she couldn't tell him what was going on. She didn't want to get him involved with the truth about Tigerclaw nor did she want him to know the nature of her dreams.
"Good. Have you eaten yet?" Eaglepelt asked.
"Yes I shared some prey with Bluestar." Mistfall answered and Eaglepelt nodded.
"We should go hunting before we go to sleep. Maybe it'll help you sleep." Eaglepelt suggested and Mistfall nodded though she didn't think hunting would stop her dreams. She couldn't help but feel like they were trying to warn her of something bad and it made her nervous. She watched Eaglepelt walk away and prayed to Starclan that whatever was coming would be something she could handle.
