go naruto!
Well, we all love Naruto, don't we. And I'm sure he appreciates your encouragement. He needs all of it he can get!
(Tigrezz Tail)
Interesting that the crowd goes silent during the match. That's really unnerving...
As is the drama of my written imagination. Okay, so I made it a bit dramatic, but it's cool, right?

Naruto winced almost silently at the blow made to his stomach. Deidara lowered his leg from the blow just soon enough to dodge the hit thrown his way. The golden-haired fighter internally groaned as his fist met air. They'd been fighting for almost fifteen minutes and though he saw his opponent wobble slightly on his feet, he knew he'd taken twice as much damage. His feet protested as he shifted them on the ring's floor. He was running out of steam fast and knew he needed to end the fight quickly now. As if to remind him, a gentle voice caressed the back of his mind, whispering words of victory and rest.
He pushed the voice aside and refocused on Deidara. The lemon-headed man was standing a few feet away, appearing to take a short rest, like the younger man. His eyes, though, were not resting, but frantic and calculating. The calmness in those eyes unnerved him, and he shifted slightly to his left leg. Deidara's eyes flicked to his feet before rushing back to his face, his own unmoving. Naruto growled and launched himself at his opponent, but his moves were too fast and too close. He rammed face-first into the wire. To make matters worse, he slipped on his own disposed jacket and fell towards the ground, his face, chest, and one arm dragging along the barbed claws as they worked for a hold in his skin.
When the blonde's knees finally hit the mat, he could hear a screaming. It was him, of course, but he wasn't the only one. He turned his burning eyes to see Kakashi holding a wailing Iruka back. The silverette's own eyes were glossed over, though, working against his obviously forced, hard face. Sakura had already fainted in her seat, her head lolling back behind it. Sasuke was gaping, wide-eyed, and gripping his arm rests with trembling hands.
The most alarming expression, however, came from his own opponent. Deidara was looking at him with something Naruto couldn't describe with one word. It was scared, panicked, angry, and... worried.
Naruto blinked painfully as the word came to mind. Why would Deidara be looking worriedly at him, of all things? He attempted to shake his head and force the thoughts from his mind, but froze when the action closed his air pipe. He tried again, more slowly, but it happened again. Every time the blonde turned his head to the left, he couldn't breathe. At all.
He slowly brought his left, uninjured arm to his throat, letting his dark fingers gently prod the shredded skin there. One slipped in and something in his throat contracted agonizingly. He swept his hand to his side and gripped his pants tight enough to turn his knuckles blue, as if worried that they would repeat the action against his will. He turned his head slowly to the right, elicting much less pain and much more air, and pleaded at Kakashi with his eyes. There was something very broken in his body right now, and he knew that he needed it fixed. Slowly, ever slowly, the pain seeped into him. No, it was more like it came from the very core of his being, burning its way out like the white-hot fire of an enraged dragon.
He doubled over as his chest started pumping, not seeming to get much oxygen from the excesses of air being pulled into his lungs. He felt like he was choking on something. Then, with a fresh burst of horror, he realized that what was blocking his air flow was his own blood seeping both much too slowly and much too fast down his throat, the inside and out.
The last thing he heard before he blacked out wasn't the gasps of horror that surrounded the underground stadium, or the footsteps pounding as Deidara ran to catch him before his face hit the floor. No, what he heard was a humming. Hmmm Hm Hmm Hmmmmmm. He looked up to see a woman cradling his face. A woman with hair red as fire.
There were strange sounds all around him. There were strange beeping sounds, the hum of a furnace, birds chirping off in the distance. There were also the sounds of footsteps all around him, people shouting orders. But the sound he focused on was something much quieter, something more distracting. He snuggled lightly into the chest he was laying against, warmed by the arms wrapped around him and the soft, slightly uneven heartbeat against his ear.
"Naruto..." A soft, strained voice whispered. He had no clue what that meant, but it sounded nice.
The baby lifted his eyes as far as he could -which wasn't much- to look at who was holding him. It was a woman with raving, fiery hair and large, gray-blue eyes. Something seemed a bit off to the infant, though. The long hair that reached out of his eyesight looked dulled and oily. And the eyes dulled slowly as he watched. The woman holding him so tenderly seemed like she was...fading.
"Kushina! KUSHINA!" Someone screeched, and he was torn from the woman that fascinated him so. He immediately began to wail, unsure of what was going on. He wanted to be back in that woman's arms again. But through his bleary eyes, she seemed to be getting smaller and smaller, until he could no longer make out her silhouette in the distance. He looked up at who was now carrying him and began to wail even harder
Holding him was a skeleton, one with blonde hair and glowing blue orbs in pits of black for eyes. "You killed her, Naruto. You killed me. Only alive one day, and you've already killed two people. You really are a monster." The skeleton dropped him and when he hit the floor, he'd turned into his teenage self, mabey fifteen or sixteen.
Suddenly, he was surrounded by countless other skeletons, all rattling and grimacing in pain or anger. "You killed us." They chanted. "You killed us, Naruto...!"
Naruto woke with a start. His upper body jerked forward, but something held him down. His eyes widened to show his entire irises at the leather straps holding down him arms, legs, and chest. "Iruka...?" He called uncertainly. "IRUKAAA!" He now screamed, thrashing about in a quickly-rising panic attack.
The called brunette swiftly rushed in. He ran up to the bed and pressed the thrashing blonde's shoulders to the mattress. "Naruto! Calm down! Naruto!"
The blonde trembled at the brunette's arms on his shoulders. He bit his lip, closed his eyes, and forced his breathing to become rhythmic until his heartbeat slowed. When the beeper didn't sound like a siren, he slowly opened his eyes to look into those of the only man he considered family. "Iruka...What's going on?" He choked. His voice was hoarse and his throat felt on fire. How had he screamed so loud moments before?
Iruka hurried to lift a glass of water from the small table beside the bed. "Here..." He VERY slowly tipped the edge to the blonde's mouth, letting him drink half before setting it aside again. "Easy. Give yourself a minute. The doctor said to let you drink in small amounts because it could upset the medicine in your stomach." The brunette set the glass silently on the bedside table, then fidgeted in his wide chair. "Naruto, we're at the hospital. You've been out cold for two days."
The blonde was amazed. "Really? That long? I feel like I've only been sleeping for a few minutes!"
Iruka gave a small, tired smile. "That doesn't at all surprise me." He muttered to himself. "The doctor should be here soon," He said, slowly bending over to untie the leather straps holding the blonde to the bed. "and I'm sorry, but would you mind much if I went to rest? I'm a bit tired..."
The fighter took a moment to survey the brunette. The man's normally dark skin seemed to have paled quite a bit. His brown eyes had dulled slightly and sunken into his skull, making him look like a walking corpse. His dark hair was undone and reached out every which way. All in all, the blonde decided, the man looked like royal shit. Knowing his 'Father', he'd been up all of both those days, needlessly worrying himself sick.
After they said their short farewells, the doctor came in and started checking the blonde's pulse, blood pressure, and other things, asking senseless questions like doctors do. Naruto felt that he was in for a long, irritating stay.
Iruka groaned as he sprawled out on the white bed. The hospital had given him and Kakashi a neighboring room to Naruto's, so they could stay near him and not be cramped in the small room the blonde had. Theirs consisted of a normal twin bed with white sheets and a white pillow and blanket, a small end table on its right side, a rather large, poofy chair, and a small T.V. set up in the ceiling's corner, now playing some old, boring game show.
The brunette heaved a sigh and rolled over onto his stomach, unlatching his pants along the way- they felt way too tight at the waist, he needed to go shopping. He shuffled his body under the thin white blanket and sheets and nuzzled his face into the pillow. His entire body ached and his eyes stung with weariness, drifting closed until the pure bliss of sleep encompassed him.
"Iruka! Look at this!" A certain blonde child called to him from behind.
The brunette turned slowly in place to see Naruto grinning and waving at him from up in a high tree branch. They were in some thick woods, surrounded on all sides by trees that towered above them like dark towers. A young Shino sat on the branch above the grinning blonde, watching a rather large beatle run in circles on the branch in front of him.
Iruka sighed in relief and smiled, taking a few steps towards them. "Naruto, come down from there! You could fall!" He lifted his hand as if to reach for the boy, but he was sitting on a branch far too high for that.
"Hehe!" Naruto slowly stood up on the thick branch, his arms outstretched to his sides. He wobbled a bit, but managed to stay upright as he walked along the branch towards the trunk. When he reached it, the blonde put his hands on the rough bark for a moment to steady himself before sliding down it like a pole. His but hit the ground softly and he giggled.
Iruka's smile grew as the blonde boy raced/stumbled over to him.
Naruto wrapped his arms around his senior's waist and nuzzled into the chest. "I love you, Iruka..."
Iruka woke and his eyes slid down to his chest, where a mass of silver hair laid. He stared at the head for a moment before shifting his legs under the man to get more comfortable.
Kakashi groaned low in his throat and shifted along with the brunette, moving so his legs wrapped around the shorter man's left calf and his arms embraced the other's stomach.
Iruka rolled over only to face-plant the floor. Spouting a curse, he lifted his bruised nose with his hand grasping it and looked up at the man grinning on the bed.
Kakashi had rolled over on his side and propped up his head with his hand, gazing bemusedly at the brunette. "'Morning, Enkeli (RTN)." He whispered.
Iruka felt a shiver go down his back at the word.
-(RTN)
Rough hands caressed his chest, fingers grazing his hard nipples now and again. A low moan made its way from the blonde's throat as a finger pressed down hard on one. He opened his eyes to gaze down into beautiful munsell (RTN) ones near his stomach. Even as their eyes met, those devilish hands continued lower, stopping their hopeful trail at his bare hips. The redhead lowered his face to a toned stomach, dipping his tongue playfully in the shallow dip presented to him.
Naruto involuntarily moaned again and brought his fist up, biting on it to prevent further embarrassment.
Gaara hardly seemed to notice, too focused on his hands as they traced small circles on the flesh they touched. The circles soon developed into intricate designs the blonde couldn't seem to follow, much less fathom.
The blonde fighter groaned in impatience into his fist and bit down harder in slight shame. He so wanted those hands in a much more sensitive place, a place that was quickly gathering blood.
Hearing the displeased sound, Gaara slowed his movements until only his finger tips were moving, once again in those small, slow circles. After another moment's contemplation, his hands moved further south, coming to rest in golden curls that glistened with slight sweat. His faced followed soon after. He wrapped his thin lips around the blonde's pulsing-
Naruto snapped awake, choking on the air that didn't seem to want to leave his throat. He glanced at the small black clock on the wall to his left. 2:14 AM.
What the Hell had just happened inside his fucking head?

The break shown is where a lemon will be. A helpful person volunteered to write it for me, but it may take a bit, so I'll put it in later.
