When Harry got back to his home, he was greeted by all of his elves. They wanted to know if he was alright and if they could do anything such as take his things to his room for him. He allowed them to take his things and then asked them to make him a nice dinner and bring it to the library.

He knew Dumbledore would never rest until he was back at the Dursleys. If there was one thing that Harry wanted more than anything in the entire world, it was not to go back to the Dursleys. He also wanted Dumbledore off of his back. This put him in a bit of a situation, one that he really wasn't happy with. His wants conflicted with Dumbledore's wants and Harry knew that if Dumbledore really wanted too, he could make his life very difficult.

Dumbledore was still head of the Wizengamot and the ICW after all even if he would probably hesitate using said power to take Harry back to his relatives. Most important and relevant to Harry at that very moment was his other position. With him being Headmaster there was really no escaping him for Harry, not unless he went somewhere else for his education anyway and he couldn't do that.
Harry would never want to go somewhere like Durmstrang. They had too many questionable things going on there, especially with Karkaroff as the headmaster. Beaubaxtons was out of the question simply due to the fact that well, there wasn't really a good reason not to specially go there, but he still couldn't due to one simple fact. He couldn't change the timeline too much until he was able to defeat Voldemort. He feared that he already had.
"Don't worry you haven't." said a very familiar voice suddenly.
Harry had just entered into the library so that he could do some research and was not expecting anyone to be in there especially considering the fact that no one knew where he lived well except Fawkes but he promised not to tell, or did he? It was always hard to tell with Phoenixes.
Anyway, that was besides the point. What the point was, was that there was someone besides him in his library. A very familiar someone.
Sitting on one of the tabletops situated in the library was the figure of a women in her mid twenties. Today her brown hair was up in an intricate braided bun. She was wearing a deep red blouse and skirt that came down just past her knees with matching boots that laced up the sides to her knees.
"Hello Harry surprised to see me?" she asked.
"Acara." said Harry very afraid. "Don't tell me I died and didn't realize it. I'm sorry I didn't mean to. I don't know what I did." rambled Harry fully panicked. He didn't want to make her mad at him. Truth be told he liked Acara but from what little he had seen of her, he really didn't want to make her angry.
He was startled out of his thoughts by a velvety laugh. "Oh Harry. You. You think your dead." She smiled. "You are such a silly young man sometimes."
Harry was startled by her outburst.
"No. I am just here to check how you are doing. Nothing more nothing less. I did tell you that I would be checking up on you right?" Acara asked.
Harry shook his head mutely.
"Oh! No wonder you look startled. I am so sorry. I meant to tell you but I guess with everything we were talking about well." She shrugged. "What can you do?"
A moment later Harry snapped out of his surprise at seeing her and remembered what she had said. "What do you mean I haven't? Haven't what?"
"Haven't messed up the timeline irrevocably." Acara said.
"Oh that is good? Wait. How did you know that was what I was thinking about and if you know what is going on then why did you need to come down and see how I was doing? Harry asked.
"I couldn't help but hear your thoughts. You are getting a bit lax in your Occlumency while here where you feel safe and were broadcasting your thoughts quite loudly." She stated as if it was obvious which to her it probably was."To answer your second question." she continued. "I can see what is going on down here, and so really don't need to come check on you but I wanted to."
Harry processed what she said and then came up with yet another question. "How can you be here? I thought you couldn't interfere and that is why you sent me down here."
"You are right in that we can't interfere, and I technically am not. I haven't said anything that has changed what you are going to do. It is a fine line I am treading but I know what I am doing. If I didn't then I wouldn't be doing it." she stated.
"Ookay." Harry said drawing out the first part. As long as she knew what she was doing then that was the important thing.
"So I haven't changed too much. That is good." Harry said.
"Yes. Don't worry too much. What is supposed to happen will happen no matter how much you change it." Acara told Harry.
"If that is the case then how did the original future get so messed up in the first place?" asked Harry.
"That case was slightly different. If it had been someone on earth who had tried to mess it up that much then the timeline would have corrected itself. It all comes back to the fact that the perpetrator wasn't of this earth and so knew how to mess it up right properly."
Harry thought on this and thought it made sense though he still wondered about the specifics.
"Now I must say goodbye for now."
"Really but you just got here?"
"Yes and if I stay here anymore I might give too much away and change the timeline. So till next time Harry. Ta." Acara said in between one blink and the next she was gone.
Harry shook his head. She sure was weird. Though at least she didn't yell at him this time. Shrugging he went to sit down at the table that Acara had been sitting on and got to work. Where to start. He supposed that he should first look over the list that he had made the previous summer and revise it to see what he had done and what he had yet to do. He pulled out the list and looked it over. I read.

Send Domina to buy Hedwig so that I can reply to the letter from Hogwarts. Read and learn as much as I can from Potter library Make sure Occlumency shields are up to snuff When interrogated by Dumbledore, tell him you ran away because the Dursley's were cruel to you and that you won't tell him where you ran away to. Destroy diadem ASAP Try to get on good terms with Snape Don't let Malfoy get on your nerves Try to act like a normal 11-year-old as much as possible Read a lot to explain abilities Talk to the basilisk in the chamber of secrets and kill it if needed Defeat Quirrel without alerting Dumbledore Start up DA if possible Destroy the ring summer after first year Destroy the diary when it's given to Ginny Free Dobby if possible In third-year, take ancient runes, arithmancy, and care of magical creatures instead of divination Figure out how to expose Wormtail Devise trap for Wormtail Prevent Remus from being outed if possible Prove Sirius's innocence Destroy cup after Sirius is proven innocent since he would have access to Bellatrix's vault Destroy locket at Grimmauld before fourth-year If Winky is given clothes by Crouch then bond to her Get gillyweed for tournament Kill Voldemort in graveyard
The first one could be crossed off the list. That was one of the first things that Domina had done for him last summer. He was so glad that she had.
Number two was a work in progress. He would learn as much as he could that summer. He had a lot of research to do after all.
Going on to number three, he decided to revise that one. His occlumency shield were good, but they could always be better. Acara had just demonstrated that.

The fourth one was taken care of at the beginning of the last school year. It was not his best plan, and it had not been fully developed at the time. This went back to what he had been thinking of earlier. He would have to come up with a plan.

His thoughts were interrupted once again. This time it was by a supper of chicken with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables appearing on his table. Realizing how hungry he was, he ate it swiftly along with the slice of treacle tart that appeared after that. He then, with a comfortably full stomach, went back to his work.

Where was he? Oh yeah number five. That he could cross off the list. The diadem was gone.

Numbers six and seven would always be a work in progress. He had done well this past year with both Snape and Malfoy. He would just have to keep doing what he was doing.

As for number eight well, he was mostly successful. No one had looked at him any more weirdly than normal or confronted him about acting like the twenty-five year old that he still felt like at times. This was good. However, he had heard some whispers about how mature he was. Oh well. He knew he couldn't be perfect.
Number nine was a little too successful in his opinion. The Ravenclaws had taken to glaring daggers at him at times due to his propensity to get better grades than them. Once again. Oh well. He could only dumb himself down so much. That is not to say that he was as smart as they were. He knew he wasn't. It was just that he had more experience than they did even if they didn't and couldn't know that.
The tenth and eleventh items on his list were both successes. He had made a good friend in Viride, and really hoped that he could destroy the diary before Tom Riddle could possess Ginny and take control of her. He really didn't want to kill her.
As for Quirrel, he had defeated him right under Dumbledore's nose. As far as he knew Dumbledore still didn't know who had done it. He was just sad that they had decided to destroy it. He knew it was a possibility but he had still hoped otherwise. His mind wandered back to the article that had been in that mornings paper.
~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~NTTMP~~~~~~ The Wizarding World says its goodbyes to the most brilliant Alchemist its ever seen and his wife. By Alicia Alexander Readers it is my sad duty to report that the wizarding world is losing two of its most famed members. It was announced early this morning that the famous Alchemist Nicholas Flamel and his wife Perenelle are going to be leaving us after more than six hundred years.
"It is time. We are tired and ready for the new adventure that awaits us in the afterlife." Nicholas Flamel said in his statement this morning.
No one is quite sure as to their reasons, but we here at the Daily Prophet just want to wish them much luck and say that they will be missed.
For more on Nicholas and Perenelle Flamel see page 3 For their information on their most famous creation the Sorcerer's Stone see page 5 For theories as to why the Flamels are dying see page 7
~~~~~~End Flashback~~~~~~NTTMP~~~~~~
It made Harry sad to think of the wizarding world losing such interesting and brilliant people, but he would respect their wishes. There wasn't much he could do anyway.
He went back to going over his list and scratched off number twelve as a job well done. The DA was started and thriving. It was even better than before. He then looked over the rest of his list and found that he couldn't change anymore. He then went back and added things. When he was done it looked like this:

Read and learn as much as I can from Potter library Keep working on Occlumency shields Keep on relatively good terms with Snape Try to help Malfoy become a better person Try to act like a normal twelve year-old as much as possible Keep reading Try to keep from having to kill Viride Figure out how to deal with Dumbledore and his obsession with keeping me at he Dursleys Figure out how I want to deal with Lockhart. Destroy the ring this summer Destroy the diary when it's given to Ginny Free Dobby if possible In third-year, take ancient runes, arithmancy, and care of magical creatures instead of divination Figure out how to expose Wormtail Devise trap for Wormtail Prevent Remus from being outed if possible Prove Sirius's innocence Destroy cup after Sirius is proven innocent since he would have access to Bellatrix's vault Destroy locket at Grimmauld before fourth-year If Winky is given clothes by Crouch then bond to her Get gillyweed for tournament Kill Voldemort in graveyard Harry had realized that he had forgotten all about Lockhart. He knew that he couldn't get rid of him. That could mess things up big time and despite Acara's assurances, he really didn't want to risk making a mess out of things more than he already was. After all defeating old Voldy was more important than having to deal with Mr. look at me I'm an awesome pretty boy who knows how to smile. He would deal with that tomorrow. He thought with a yawn.
He was just about to go up to bed when he was interrupted for a third time that evening when a flash of fire appeared in front of him.

"What does the senile old man want now Fawkes. I'm tired. No wait don't answer that. I know what he wants."

Fawkes just looked at him amused.

Sure enough the letter said pretty much what he was expecting it too. It read:

Harry my boy,

I was very disappointed when I missed you at the train station. I thought we had agreed that your relatives miss you and that you need to go back there. Reply with your location so that I can come and get you immediately.

Sincerely,

Albus Dumbledore.

Yup that was definitely what he had been expecting. Unfortunately for him, he still didn't know how to deal with it yet. That would be the first thing that he would look into tomorrow. For now though, he turned to Fawkes.

"I don't have a reply for him right now Fawkes. You can go back to him. I am going to bed. You are welcome to visit just like last summer."

Fawkes bobbed his head and left, leaving a very tired Harry to make his way to bed.

A/N Thanks for reading! This is betaed by the awsome pinkrose14. Till next time :)
