Welcome back, readers, to another exciting chapter of Dragon Ball Harmony! When we left off, our heroes were finally enjoying some peace and quiet (and in Zackary's case, family time) after resolving their new crisis in Harbour City. However, their quest to restore the world to order still beckons, and something stirs in West City. Could this be the next dragon ball? Find out now…

Pan's Mercy: Battle for West City!

The Castle was quiet.

Zackary and the others were all fast asleep in a room that his mother had found for them. Twilight and Spike were up on a double queen-sized bed, while the others were wrapped up in blankets and sheets lying in various directions on the floor around it. The moonlight glimmered softly through a window that covered most of the northwest wall of the room opposite the door. Nobody snored, and all was silent.

That was, until a vibrating phone interrupted that silence…

"Ugh," Bulla's voice groaned. "Who the hell is calling me at… three thirty in the morning?"

Zackary stirred and opened his eyes, groggily rubbing them as he did. He looked around and saw the light of Bulla's phone just passed Marron, who was still sleeping soundly next to him, wrapped in her own quilt.

"Hi Mom," Zackary heard Bulla mutter. Suddenly, Bulla shot up into an upright sitting position, eyes wide and mouth agape.

"West City? Are you serious?" she whispered harshly. "Now…? Who do we…? Ok, at least we'll have another Dragon Ball by the end of it…. Thanks, Mom." Bulla promptly hung up the phone and turned straight to Zackary, as if she somehow knew that he was awake.

"Apparently a giant mole is attacking West City," she reported. "They said that it also had a cracked sphere with seven stars in it right in the middle of its forehead. You know what that means…"

Zackary shot upright as well. "Well, what are we waiting around hear for?" he said. "Let's get going!"

"Aw, but I was just getting comfortable here!" Spike's voice moaned from the bed.

Slowly, the rest of the crew began to stir. Uub seemed to organise himself a lot faster than the others, including Bulla. Zackary was still folding up the quilt he was sleeping on by the time that Uub was ready. Pan was shaking Buu vigorously in an effort to waking him up. When he eventually did, he sat up wide eyed with a jolt.

"Buu get it! Night Pony need Buu to wake up!" Buu exclaimed, stopping everyone in their tracks.

"Night pony?" Pan asked.

Twilight gasped and rushed over to Buu. "You saw Princess Luna?"

Buu turned to Twilight and stared at her for a few moments before nodding. "Night Pony has wings and a horn, just like Twilight Sparkle. She tell Buu wake up! Friends need Buu!"

"Princess Celestia must've told her about my mission here, and she's been using the dream world to keep an eye on us, Spike!" Twilight said excitedly, squeezing her cheeks with her hooves and she grinned.

"Pretty convenient that it's currently night time in Equestria and the same time as here," Spike observed aloud.

"Enough! Enough enough enough enough enough!" Bulla exclaimed. "We have a city to save and a dragon ball to claim. Get your shit together!"

"Oh, right," Twilight replied, calming herself a little bit as the others resumed packing up. "Sorry."

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Much at the insistence of Zackary's mother, all eight of them hastily chowed down on breakfast before taking off into the early morning sky, following Bulla towards West City. Being so early in the morning, it was still dark. Eventually, however, they caught a glimpse of the sun.

"Get ready to have the time zones mess with your head, Twilight," Bulla called back.

"Time zones," Twilight asked, confused. "Why?"

"It's late afternoon in West City right now," Bulla replied.

Zackary groaned in his mind. They had all woken up so early just to fly to the next night?

As the group flew, the sun became more visible, even though it was setting away from them. The light cast a shimmering orange and purple display across the sky ahead of them. Zackary took a moment to take in the beauty of the scene ahead of him, and even allowed a tear to fall down his cheek as he remembered all the travelling he had done with his family. He felt a smile form itself on his face as he wiped that tear away. He suddenly felt a gentle hoof on his shoulder which could've only belonged to one being.

"We'll fix this, Zack," he heard Twilight say to him. Zackary looked to Twilight, who was wearing a similar smile to the one he had. "Everything will be ok."

Zackary nodded as Twilight brought her hoof back off his shoulder. The two looked at each other a little longer, as if sharing each other's hope, before turning back to the emerging sun.

"By the way," Twilight suddenly asked. "Who raises your sun and moon each morning? You know, like Princesses Celestia and Luna?"

Zackary turned back to her as he replied. "Actually, our planet just rotates on its axis as it orbits the sun. No need for anyone to do it manually."

"Wait…" said Twilight. "You mean no-one has to raise the sun or the moon each morning? They just raise themselves?"

"That's right," Bulla replied. "The sensation of the rising and setting sun is more attributed to the spinning of the Earth. Only one side of it will get any sunlight at a time, obviously."

"But our world's round too," Spike pointed out. "Why would Celestia and Luna need to move the sun and the moon each day?"

"Maybe they're not," Marron offered. "Maybe it's your world they're moving, not the sun. Princess Luna would still have to move the moon around, obviously."

"Whoah!" Twilight gasped. "Making sure that the planet keeps spinning? And Luna having to position the moon at just the right angle for each shape as the planet turns on it's axis? That sounds even more challenging than lifting up a light in the sky! No wonder I found it so hard when I tried it!"

"You tried raising the sun?" Zackary asked.

"It's a long story," Twilight replied.

"Well, we have time," Bulla called out. "The Dragon Radar just picked up the signal now, and we're a little while out from West City yet."

"Well," Twilight began. "There was this bad guy named Tirek, who had the power to suck up ponies' magic for himself. He was imprisoned in Tartarus, but escaped, and began sucking everypony dry…"

Zackary heard Buu chortle a laugh, and when it suddenly occurred to him why, he had trouble keeping the smirk off his face as well. Twilight continued her story.

"…Of their magic, sucking up their magic," she said. "This prompted the other princesses to transfer they're magic to me, in the hopes that Tirek wouldn't be able to take it from them."

"Hold on," Pan interrupted. "You ended up with the magic of four alicorn princesses? Your power must've been insane after that!"

Twilight nodded. "It was more a burden than you might think," she continued. "Turns out, trying to control that much power is… more trouble than it's worth."

"Did you stop Tirek," Uub asked.

Twilight nodded again. "But I wasn't able to keep the alicorn magic safe from Tirek," she continued. "He sucked it all out of me."

"For Celestia's sake, Twilight, stop using the word 'suck'," Spike commented. "You're getting Buu all riled up!"

Indeed, Buu was having immense difficulty holding it all together. He was gritting his teeth and pulling his face down with his hands in a seemingly vain attempt at controlling himself. Eventually, though, he just could not hold himself together, and began laughing loudly, causing the whole group to stop.

"This Tirek guy sure loves sucking!" Buu managed to say in between laughs.

"Buu, that's… That's…" Pan attempted to scold her friend, before she too dissolved into a fit of laughter.

"Oh come on, everyone!" Spike complained. "Not even you, Zack?"

Zackary, despite his best efforts, could not keep the laughter from leaving his mouth. It was all he could do to keep himself airborne as his stomach contracted with each laugh.

"Let's just wait for them to get it all out of their system, Spike," Twilight suggested, her eyes narrowed and a frown plastered on her face. Eventually, the group did quieten down enough for Twilight to finish her story.

"As I was saying, after Tirek had stolen the alicorn magic from me, my friends and I had to rely on a different magic. One that Tirek couldn't take away. The magic of friendship."

"And super-powered transformations and rainbow beams!" Spike added, as they resumed their journey.

"You have super transformations too?" Pan asked excitedly.

Twilight nodded. "We call it 'rainbow power'. And yes, it's exactly what you think it is. Hay, with all these shadow dragons around, you might be able to see that in action!"

"So that's how you beat this Tirek guy?" Zackary asked. "With the 'magic of friendship'?"

"Friendship is the most powerful magic there is, both in Equestria and here on Earth," Twilight replied. "It's proven itself throughout your own journey so far, with Uub and his village's new relationship with Chrysalis, to Bulla not wanting to leave our side when she was the only one who wasn't captured by Rage Shenron, and even when Marron decided to use the time she could have used in her own search of the Dragon Balls to instead teach you how to fly. It's all been possible because you all found a way to work together, and I hope that this will still prove so in the end, when all this is resolved."

"So you didn't defeat Tirek alone, then?" Bulla asked.

"No, Bulla, I didn't," answered Twilight. "I had my best friends with me, the ones I told you about in Uub's village."

"The Elements of Harmony. Of course," said Zackary in realisation. "Although, I don't think we have 'Elements of Harmony' we can use here on Earth."

"But look at what you've accomplished so far just by working together with your friends, Zack," Twilight continued. "The Elements of Harmony aren't just magical artefacts on a crystal tree, they're ideals that every creature should strive towards to be in harmony with one another. Generosity, Honesty, Loyalty, Laughter, Kindness. The Element of Magic can only exist if these five are brought together."

"So, what you're saying is that these 'Elements of Harmony' are within each of us, and that it's up to us to utilise them when appropriate?" Zackary asked.

"You should utilise them all the time," Twilight replied. "That's how friendship becomes magic."

"Well, hopefully we can bring some of that to West City," Bulla called out. "We're almost there."

Zackary hadn't noticed that they were already approaching a setting sun. Juxtaposed on the horizon, Zackary could faintly see what appeared to be the shadows of tall buildings and smoke. As they got closer, he saw that there were small humanoid figures flying around the middle of it all, with small lights being projected from them.

"Looks like the party's already kicked off without us," Uub observed aloud.

"Yeah, and it's not a Pinkie Pie party either," added Spike.

"Hey Zack," Marron called out. "We're gonna pick up the pace. You think you can handle it?"

Zackary responded by giving Marron the 'ok' sign with his hand. With that, the eight of them sped off towards the city, much faster than Zackary had grown accustomed to, though he kept up as best he could.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

The eight of them closed in on the city very quickly, and immediately saw the havoc being caused. Buildings had either collapsed or were in the process of collapsing, roads were splitting down the middle and opening up into great crevasses and smoke and soot filled the air around them. Hovering in mid-air with them were more of the Saiyan Earth-Guard soldiers, who were all shooting energy blasts into those crevasses.

"Keep firing," one of them shouted. "We'll get it eventually!"

"What is going on here?" Twilight shouted over the top of the blasting.

One of the Saiyans turned around and immediately locked eyes with Bulla.

"Miss Briefs," he called out as he approached. "Thank goodness you're here."

"Yeah, well, this giant mole's gonna pay for waking me up at three in the morning," Bulla replied angrily.

"So, your mother's told you already," said the Saiyan. "Well, at least that gets briefing out of the way. It seems to be digging tunnels under the city, and not anywhere else, almost as if it's aware of the destruction and havoc it's causing."

"Well, I have a feeling that that's what it was going for," said Zackary as he looked over the still disintegrating city before them.

"And it didn't occur to any of you that all this blasting into the ground is only HELPING it in its destruction of your city?" Twilight threw in.

The Saiyan stopped, his eyes widened, and he began to stammer. Bulla hardened her gaze as she waited for an answer.

"Well… we… um… you see…" he began, but Bulla cut him off.

"Have the others escort any survivors out of the city, and QUIT THE BLASTING! My friends and I will take it from here," Bulla ordered.

"At once, ma'am," the Saiyan replied with a salute. He then turned and flew off towards the other Saiyans. Within a minute, the blasting stopped, but the destruction continued. The Saiyans dispersed throughout the crumbling ruins and, after a few moments, flew out again carrying other beings, humans, multicoloured humanoid looking beings, and even ponies.

"All those creatures they could've been saving," Spike grunted with a shake of his head.

"Wow, Bulla," Twilight said, nudging Bulla as she spoke. "Your words carry weight around here, I see."

"Well, I am the Princess of the Capsule Corporation," Bulla replied, curling a lock of her hair behind her ear. "But enough about that. Right now, we have a giant mole to punish."

"Mole disturb Buu and friends' sleep," Buu growled, cracking his knuckles. "Buu make it dead!"

"Let's keep our eyes open, everyone," said Marron. "I don't want this thing sneaking up on us,"

"If a giant thing like that pops out of the ground at us, I think we're gonna know about it," Uub replied frankly.

"I'll say," Pan added.

Zackary thought for a moment before speaking again. "Let's split up, but stay at this height so we can keep an eye on each other as well."

"I agree," Twilight replied. "We can't be too careful, after all."

The eight of them took off in all directions. Zackary decided to keep heading westwards, keeping an eye on the ground as he flew. He noticed that the buildings along one particular street were collapsing inwards into the street. It then occurred to him that they were collapsing one after the other on both sides of the street.

"Guys! I found it!" he called out as he took off after the destruction. He followed the collapsing buildings and tried to feel for its energy. When he felt it, he suddenly realised…

This thing was big…

Like, really big…

He felt his friends catch up with him after a few moments.

"Good spotting, Zack," Marron said.

"Careful, guys," Zackary replied. "We've got a behemoth over here."

"Sweet Celestia, your right," he heard Twilight agree with him. He turned to see that Twilight's horn had lit up. She suddenly came to a halt and as she did, the destruction down the road stopped as well.

"Uh, Twilight," Spike said. "You're not trying what I think you're trying, are you?

"What is Twilight trying?" asked Pan, nervously.

"Everyone, quiet please," Twilight interrupted. There was silence for a few moments before a smirk spread itself across Twilight's face.

"Gotcha!" She whispered. Her horn glowed brighter and more intense until an enormous creature suddenly appeared out of thin air.

Zackary was astounded to see that it did in fact resemble a giant purple mole, with its elongated snout and fine whiskers and long claws. What really got Zackary's attention, however, was the small blue dot in the middle of its forehead. A dot that Zackary could faintly see seven stars in.

The Seven Star Dragon Ball!

Twilight released her magic and the creature dropped back to the ground with a loud thud. The already crumpled ground crumpled some more under the weight of the monster, and those buildings that didn't topple over initially fell down on top of it. All eight of them looked down on it, waiting to see what it would do next.

The Shadow Dragon slowly stood up, and began brushing the fallen buildings off of its body.

"Hey, what gives?" it suddenly grumbled. "One minute I was digging holes under this city, and the next I'm out here!"

"So, you get off on the destruction of innocent people's homes and livelihoods, do you?" Twilight demanded.

The giant mole turned around to look at her and replied. "Kinda, yeah. Did you do this to me?"

"I'm guessing you're the Seven Star Dragon then," said Zackary.

"Yep, that's me alright," the Shadow Dragon replied. "Name's Natron Shenron. I like digging holes and destroying stuff."

"I know, we saw," Bulla replied angrily. "So, are we doing this, or what?"

Natron looked up at Bulla and blinked a couple of times. "Doing what?"

"Us kicking your ass and getting that dragon ball, of course," replied Uub.

"Oh." Natron looked down in thought for a few seconds before shaking his head. "Uh-uh. I'm too busy digging holes and causing earthquakes. See ya!"

With that, Natron began to dig with his front claws straight down under him.

"Oh, come on," Marron complained.

"No, I don't think you are, actually," said Twilight, lighting up her horn again. A glowing Natron Shenron reappeared in mid-air again and fell back to the ground when Twilight's horn stopped glowing.

"Hey, that's the second time that's happened," Natron said. "What the hell is happing."

"You wanna know what the hell is happening," Twilight asked angrily as once again, her horn lit up and Natron lifted off the ground. "I'm what the hell is happening!"

Natron looked a Twilight and blinked another couple of times. "The only way a pony like you could lift someone like me up with magic is if you were and alicorn. Look at that, wings and a horn, you're an alicorn alright."

"Enough stalling, Natron Shenron," Spike interjected, cracking his knuckles as he spoke. "The Dragon Ball. We want it. Now!"

"Even if one of you guys do have god-ki, there's no way I can just give you my dragon ball."

"Yeah, we got that," Zackary replied. "That's why we're kicking your arse, mate."

"Yeah, see," Natron stalled again. "I'm not much of a fighter…"

"You think after everything we went through so far, we're going to buy that crap," Bulla demanded. "Gig's up, mole-guy! Put up, or shut up."

"Guys' hold on," Pan tried to speak up.

"Look, all I wanna do is dig holes, cause earthquakes and destroy things," Natron explained. "Is that such a crime?"

"Uh, yeah it's a crime!" Uub replied. "It's literally a crime! Especially when there are other people's lives involved!"

"Guys, hang on a second," Pan pleaded again, only to be shut down by Marron.

"Didn't you give a second thought to what those people were going through when you decided to do all this?" Marron asked, pointing in the direction of the evacuated citizens. "Or were you that selfish that you only thought of what you wanted to do?"

"Guys, can I try…" Pan was once again cut off, this time by Zackary.

"If you won't bother attacking us, then I'm more than willing to make the first move," Zackary said, cupping his hands by his side. "Kame…"

"EVERYONE LISTEN!" Buu's voice suddenly rang out through the entire city, echoing off in the distance. Everyone's attention turned to Buu.

"Pan want to try something new," Buu explained.

"Thank you, Buu," said Pan. "Speaking of selfish, guys!"

Zackary looked down and scratched the back of his head sheepishly. The others, including Twilight and Spike, were in a similar state of embarrassment.

Pan hovered down to Natron's face height before speaking. "You don't want to fight us, do you?"

"Not really," Natron replied. "I just wanna dig holes."

"Well, why don't you just give us the dragon ball and we can be on our way," Pan suggested. "Nobody has to get hurt that way."

"Like I said before, lady, no can do," Natron replied again, shaking his head. "How do you think this works? If you guys get my Dragon Ball, I can't dig holes and destroy things. I kinda need this thing to exist, you know? So, if you excuse me…"

Natron poked the inside of the magic bubble he was in and it popped, sending him back to the ground, along with everyone's bottom jaw.

"…I have some hole digging to do."

With that, Natron once again began digging bellow him.

"Well, it was worth a shot," Uub said, with a reassuring hand on Pan's shoulder.

"UGH!" An exasperated Twilight lit up her horn once more, and once again, Natron Shenron appeared before them, only this time, instead of letting him fall to the ground, Twilight positioned herself more upright and kicked upwards with her hind leg into his chin, sending him flying across the city. He landed on a main road and skidded to a halt, taking some of the buildings with him.

"The city's evacuated, right, Bulla?" Zackary asked worriedly.

"Oh, yeah, the Earth Guard's quite efficient with these sorts of things," Bulla replied.

"Geeze, Twilight," Spike said. "Did you have to go that far?"

"Yes, Spike. Yes, I did," Twilight replied.

Natron stood up and turned back around to face Twilight and the others.

"Ok, now you've really pissed me off," he growled. "You wanna fight? Fine, I'll give you a fight! Take this!"

Natron put his front claws on the ground and looked straight up at Zackary. Zackary suddenly realised that the ground bellow him was starting to glow pink. He was forced to suddenly move when a pink beam of energy shot up from under him. He wasn't the only one, either. All of his friends found themselves dodging energy attacks from the ground.

Gotta get up close and personal with this guy, Zackary thought to himself. He charged straight at Natron Shenron, but was forced to stop when he found himself surrounded by multiple energy blasts from bellow.

"Not bad, huh?" Natron taunted. "I call this one Aftershock! Now dance for me!"

Zackary suddenly found himself on the defensive, dodging one blast after another. He took his chances to look around to see how the others were fairing, but they weren't doing any better. Buu was trying to use his healing abilities to his advantage, but was constantly having to reconstitute himself, after having gone nowhere.

Damn it! How do I get around this? Zackary thought, as he suddenly remembered his training with Master Chu again…

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

"Now remember, Zack," Master Chu said. "Wing Chun works by defending and attacking simultaneously. That means that every defence must also be an attack, and focused towards your opponent's centre. If you spend too much time defending attacks without attacking yourself, you will eventually get hit, or even lose the fight entirely."

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Every defence must also be an attack…

Zackary gritted his teeth with determination and once again charged at Natron Shenron.

"Oh, you're trying that again, are you?" Natron asked amusedly. "Well, I won't complain. Have it your way!"

Zackary charged and energy ball underneath himself and spun it in place as the next energy blast erupted from the ground beneath him. To Zackary's contentment, his energy ball did what he wanted it to do. The energy blast deflected off its path as Zackary travelled towards his target. He pushed his spinning energy ball along with him as he charged towards Natron Shenron.

"What! How did you…" Natron demanded, wide eyed and bewildered. "It doesn't matter. This one won't miss!"

Another energy blast shot up from the ground, but once again was deflected away from Zackary by his spinning ball of ki. This continued on as Zackary pressed on towards a now desperate Shadow Dragon. When he felt he was close enough, Zackary straightened himself upright and kicked his spinning energy ball right into Natron's face. It exploded on impact, causing Natron to shut his eyes and shake his head, giving out an irritated grunt as he did. As Zackary expected, the ki blast didn't have much effect, if any, but it did give him the opening he needed to get it close enough to do some actual damage.

Natron opened his eyes to see Zackary already right in his face. Zackary began throwing his continuous punches straight between Natron's eyes. Little by little, they Shadow Dragon began to stumble backwards.

The others had since stopped having to dodge the sky bound energy blasts as Zackary had halted the source.

"Whoa, way to go, Zack," Spike called out.

"Yeah! Show him what for!" called out Bulla.

"Grrr, I've had enough of this! Natron exclaimed as he took a wider step back and dug his back foot into the ground behind him, causing Zackary to bounce backwards on his last punch. Zackary travelled back a few metres before charging in again.

"This time I won't miss!" Natron said, once more placing his front claws on the ground. Zackary looked down and began to charge his energy ball, when suddenly a different idea came to mind. He looked up and picked a spot right behind Natron Shenron's head.

That should do the trick, Zackary thought as he let loose his ghost projection attack right at the back of the shadow… mole's… head. The attack caught Natron by surprise, and he stumbled forward slightly. Much to Zackary's delight, his claws where still flat on the ground. Zackary looked down and saw the pink start to rise up from under the cracked concrete.

Perfect, Zackary thought as he took a hold of Natron's whiskers and pulled with all of his might as he was falling forward. Just as Zackary had hoped, the pink energy blast shot up from the ground and engulfed Natron Shenron's head. Zackary quickly let go and retreated just as this happened. He cupped his hands beside himself as he prepared the attack he was going to use earlier.

"Ka… me… ha… me…" The ki blast stopped, leaving a very dishevelled looking Natron Shenron.

This was his que.

"Ha-,"

"WAIT!" Pan's voice rang out from behind him.

"Oh, come on!" Zackary responded through gritted teeth as his target fell on its front.

Pan hovered down to the new face height of Natron Shenron, with Buu and a very bewildered and annoyed Twilight Sparkle close behind. Zackary rolled his eyes and followed them down.

"Look Natron, you said yourself that you're not much of a fighter," Pan said to him. "And you were just beaten by the least experienced one here. So, what do you say? How about we end this. Just give us the dragon ball and let us save our world. Please?"

A puff of smoke exploded from Natron's nostrils before he responded. "Well, I guess you make a good point."

With that, he disappeared into a puff of blue smoke, leaving the blue dragon ball rolling towards Pan. Marron, Uub, Bulla and Spike soon joined them.

"You know, this would have gone a lot quicker if I had just-" Zackary began, but was quickly cut off by Pan, who gave him a sharp look as she spoke.

"Not every enemy we fight has to die, Zack," she said before turning to the others. "Sometimes a tiny bit of kindness goes a long way. I would've expected one of you to teach him that! I can't believe none of you were willing to give Natron a chance to do the right thing!"

Bulla just gave her a stern look and crossed her arms. Uub opened his mouth to say something, but closed it and looked to the ground. Marron was also looking down, with one arm across her front grabbing the other. Spike was expectantly staring at the Dragon Ball in Pan's hand. Twilight was the one to step forward and speak up.

"You're right, Pan," Twilight admitted. "And I should have known better. Back on my world, we didn't kill any of the villains Equestria had problems with. Hay, half of them even reformed and are using their powers for good now. I should've known better than to let our past experience colour our mission's objectives, and cloud my judgment."

"Uh, guys," Spike said. "If we saved the Dragon Ball, shouldn't it turn orange?"

"Huh," everyone else said in unison as they all turned to the Dragon Ball in Pan's hand. It was still blue, and the cracks were still very much there.

"I don't understand," Pan muttered. "He gave us the Dragon Ball. Why isn't…"

Suddenly, a blue light expanded around it, engulfing Pan's arm. Zackary instinctively jumped backwards, but wished that he hadn't. The blue light appeared to be sucking Pan into it.

"Guys…" Pan cried out. "What's happening?"

"Everyone, grab a hold and pull her out of there!" Uub called out.

Zackary nodded and rushed over to Pan's side, taking hold of her free hand. Uub ran up behind her and wrapped his arms around her, locking his grip in place. Zackary took hold with his other hand on her wrist. He suddenly felt two arms wrap around his chest and began to pull backwards.

"Get Pan out of there!" he heard Marron's voice call out behind him. He turned around to see that Bulla had taken a hold of her, and Buu of her, and Spike of his cape. Twilight was positioned behind Spike and had coiled a magical glowing string emanating from her horn around Spike's waist. All of them pulled at the same time. Pan's arm inched out slightly as they pulled.

"That's it, guys, we're doing it!" Uub said excitedly.

Suddenly, the orb expanded, forcing itself onto Uub, who cried out in pain and let go. He fell to the ground, nursing a burn mark on his shoulder.

The orb expanded father and began to suck harder, making Pan inch farther and farther into it. Zackary felt his grip on her slipping.

"No, no no no no!" Despite Zackary's best efforts, the only part he had managed to save as he slipped off her arm was the blue wristband that was wrapped around it. Pan was completely engulfed in this mysterious blue light.

The light soon began to change shape, it morphed into something that looked vaguely like Natron Shenron, only with an extra tail. The blue Dragon Ball made its way to the same spot it was at on the old Natron Shenron, and the light dimmed.

What stood before them also looked vaguely like Natron Shenron, only with two long, slightly curved horns atop its head. These, along with its previously black front and back claws, were now red, contrasted against the cream-brownish belly, neck and bottom jaw, and turquois everything else. Its mole-like snout and whiskers remained, and behind its horns it sported two large fan-like fins with light purple webbing. Its two tails thrashed around the streets, creating even more destruction. It took a deep breath and as it exhaled, it opened its eyes, which were closed when it formed, and looked straight at Zackary.

"Sup, bitches…"

Zackary: G'day, Zackary here. Not only does this bastard have the dragon ball we need, but he also has Pan!

Bulla: Great! How are we going to explain this to Gohan and Videl?

Twilight: Wait! I have an idea!

Zackary: Next time on Dragon Ball Harmony: The New Natron Shenron; A Desperate Rescue! Don't miss it!

A/N: My god this chapter was a pain in the arse to finish. Hopefully I can get some more chapters going more often. Alas, I can make no promises.
