"I am loosening my powers...I may disappear one day soon. My time is ending. You must not tell nobody not even Luka that is something I have to do myself."
Sodom gasp and was shocked but agreed to not tell anybody. Yuki patted his head "Thank you" and she walked way into the living room Sodom still stocked by the news he stood in place. A few minutes has past until Yuki heard a knock at the door, She opens it.
"Yuki-san!" Toko said and hugged her "Hello." said Tsukumo as he also hugged her "you guys are early." Yuki said until she saw Luka "welcome back Luka, where did you go?" Luka looks towards Yuki. "I had to take care of something" Yuki nodded and welcome Toko and Tsukumo in, they sat in the living room and began to chat to Yuki.
An hour has past and Toko was looking around in the room until she gasped and looks at Yuki. "Yuki! give me a tour around this place." she said cheerfully Toko gets up and grabs Yuki's hand, she noticed something different and looks down to see her hand injured. "Yuki why do you have a band-aid cover one of your figures are you okay?" Yuki looks up at the nervous Toko and laughs "Yes I just cut my hand while trying to make something; it's nothing to worry about." Toko was still surprise "Then why didn't you heal yourself?" she question Yuki frooze she couldn't tell them the truth right away, Yuki was quick to answer her. "Why would I use my power for something as this small wound?" Toko shrugged "Well I guess that true" then Yuki gets up and starts to get dizzy her face was red and then falls to the floor but Toko catches her.
Luka and Tsukumo was stocked and rushed over to them, Yuki showed no signs of waking up. "Yuki!" Toko called out her name but that was not working this made Luka very worried he turns to Tskumo "Can't you call Isuzu?" Tsukumo nodded and pulled out his phone. Toko puts her hand onto Yuki's face she gasped "Whoa her face is burning up she has a fever." Yuki was breathing havey her face showed signs of Pain's. Sodom runs to get a wet towel Luka kneels down and touches Yuki face "You're right she is." Toko nods and hears Tsukumo hang up, she looks over to him while Luka still stared a Yuki. "What did Doctor Isuzu say?" Tsukumo looks over and puts his phone in his back pocket "He said he'll be over in an hour." Tsukumo kneels down beside Toko "Maybe she should lie down for a while a rest, until Doctor Isuzu comes." Luka and Toko nodded Luka picked Yuki up, and they followed Luka to Yuki's room.
They all stood in Yuki's room quietly until Sodom opened the door; he was carrying a bowl of water and a towel. Sodom soaked it and put it onto Yuki's head, everyone was worried mostly Sodom who couldn't tell them the truth. Luka noticed something off about Sodom but didn't bother to ask him.
An hour has past and they hear a car door open and close, it was Isuzu along with Takashiro. Luka opened the door and they were now in her room, Isuzu begins to check her out. After a few nods and mumbling he came to his senses. "She is very ill and her fever has gone down a bit, with some rest and medicine she will be fine." everyone was relived besides Takashiro who sensed something weird about Yuki. But shook it off "alright everyone let's all head back now you been here far too long, you have school tomorrow." Toko groaned "and I was really looking forward to hanging out with Yuki." Toko put her head down and Tsukumo put his hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry once she is better we can come back another time." she nodded and everyone left besides Luka and Sodom.
Something was bothering Luka he couldn't point out what it was, he looks over to Sodom who is staring out the window. "Sodom are you hiding something from me?" Sodom jumped and after a few minutes of silent he spoke. "What...what do you mean? you know I would never hide something from you master." Luka nodded "I see then never mind" Sodom signed of relief.
In the middle of the night Yuki awoken, she slowly raise she sees Luka sitting at the end of the the bed, and Sodom looking at the window. Luka looks at Yuki "Yuki are you alright?" he said Sodom walks over to them and sits on the floor. "I'm alright..what happened too me?" Yuki looks at them both with a confused face. "You collapsed you were running a fever Yuki" Sodom said "I did what!" Yuki gasp Luka gets up and puts his hand on Yuki's forehead she blushes.
"What..what are you doing Luka?" Luka takes his hand down "Your fever has gone down you should sleep still, Sodom will get you some water." Sodom nods and leaves the room it was just Luka and Yuki alone.
Yuki has to tell Luka the truth.
"Luka there is something I must tell you." Yuki voice is shaken, Luka looks at Yuki with a worried face. "What is it Yuki?" he answered Yuki closes her eyes but re opens them, her eyes began to water up she faces Luka. "If I told you that I was loosing my powers..and I didn't have much time left what would you do?" Luka gasped his eyes widen. Sodom was standing by the door, his hands shaken he took a step back.
"What do you mean your loosing your powers..This has never happened before so why now." Luka tried to hold back the anger that was inside of him. And closed his hands together It began to rain outside. Yuki holds out her hand, a small glow of light comes from it. Luka looks at it as it soon turned to darkness Yuki looks over to Luka. "See..I can't even cast a simple spell, my time is running out darkness is getting stronger while I grow weaker."
"How did you know They where still alive?"
(S/N Luka says they as in Cadenza and Elegy)
"You can never hide anything from me Luka, and besides I been sensing their presence lately." Luka felt guilty that he didn't tell Yuki "So you knew all along.. don't worry I won't let them take you, I'll protect you I'll never betray you." Yuki smiled and gets out of bed and walks to the window and looks up at the sky. "The sky is very pretty tonight, you can see the stars." Luka walks over to Yuki "You should go back to bed it's very late Yuki" she turns around and faces him. Yuki's feels dizzy her head is spinning, Luka calls out her name but it is slowly fading from her mind.
Yuki closes her eyes and falls forward Luka catches her, Yuki is fast asleep Luka is very worried. He carry's her to her bed, he tighens his grip around her petite body. He puts her down and puts the blankets over her. Luka sits on the floor and covers his face with his hands Sodom walks in.
"Master..."
It was the next day and rain had fallen on this day Yuki awoken to find nobody in the room with her, not even Sodom. Yuki gets out of bed and walks over to the mirror, she noticed she had bruises on her tighs and stomach and lower arms. She turned around to see more seeing this Yuki was scared she had question flowing threw her head, but came back to her senses when she hear laughter.
Yuki hurries to get dress and opens the door she is nervous she walks down stairs. She hear everyone get quite she walks into the living room. Yuki sees Toko, Tsukumo, and even Hotsuma and Shusei. She looks to see Luka and Sodom leaning on the wall everyone looks at her. "Yuki good morining!" Toko said cheerfully she nodds "What are you guys doing here?" Toko gets up and walks to Yuki.
"Since its a Sunday and we don't have school today we all were worried, so we wanted to see how you were feeling." Yuki looks at the clock it was almost 12 "I hope you didn't wait long?" she asked Toko shook her head. "No, in fact we just got here not to long so don't worried." Toko took a deep breath "Yuki what do you say we all hang out today? It's been such a long time." Yuki didn't know how to respone she looks over to Luka who nods. "Alright, I'll go I do need to buy some winter clothes." Toko jumped up and claped her hands "lets go then!" Yuki was taken by surprise "what you mean right now but I-" Toko looks back at her "we don't have much time left until the sun goes down." Toko reaches out her hand "Let's go Yuki"
Yuki nodded and walked towards Toko, until Yuki felt light headed her eyes where havey. Everyone kept calling Yuki's name but she gave in and collapses.
The next few days have pass and Yuki was getting worst nobody knew what to do, not only that the rate of Duras where increasing in numbers. Luka and Luze kept meeting each other in private to discuss this problem. "Have you found where Cadenza and Elegy are?" said Luka Luze nodded "I have, but we are no match for them they have an army." Luze signed "I'm guessing your going to go alone and not ask them to help you?" Luze wonder.
Luka nodded "Takashiro knows I don't need there help but he will bring them, regardless of what I say." Luze ponder about Luka's answer until it hit him "Then who will protect God's Light then?" Luka didn't think that far ahead but Luze was right, who is going to protect Yuki.
Luka looked up at the sky then back at Luze "She will have no choice but to come with us." Luze nodded and then took a few steps away from Luka "I must be on my way, I guess the next time we'll see each other is in battle." Luze waved and left and Luka turned away and began to walk away as well. He must get back to Yuki or should he talk to Takashiro so many question unanswered.
Yuki awoken in her room she began to slowly rise up out of bed until she hears someone walking towards her room, she begins to panic. She pretend she is asleep she hears the door open and she could make out the sound of boots was it Luka she wonder.
She was right it was Luka, the foot steps stopped and he sat on her bed and Luka put his hand on her check. His cold hands comforted her she felt safe once more.
She could feel it Luka was worried about her which made her upset . Tears began to run down her closed eyes Luka wiped them with his tumb. "Yuki..." Luka whisper softly Yuki opened her eyes. He embraces her which made Yuki cry even more she wanted to let it all out.
She embraces him back she wraps her arms around Luka's neck and beings to cry. "Luka I'm so scared." Yuki crys out Luka tightens his grip they embrace each other for a long time. Until Luka spoke "Yuki you do not need to worry anymore I will put a stop to this once and for all." He stop embracing her and he looked at her eyes which were filled with sorrow.
Luka leans down and put his lips on Yuki's lips now embrace in a kiss. Yuki seemed to have calmed down and relax more. They parted and then Luka got up and kneel on the ground putting one hand on his chest and his other on the ground, he took a deep breath.
"Once again, I swear to you...My life will be your shield and my body will be your sword. Until the day I die." Luka said but felt the warmth of Yuki's hand on his chest he held her in his arms.
a few days have past and Elegy and Cadenza was almost done with the peperations for the attack on the Zweit. "We should attack now Cadenza while everyone is not with God's Light. " Cadenza turns to her "Not yet, don't forget Reiga is dead which makes it easier on them to kill us." Elegy was getting annoyed by the way Cadenza handles things she walks away and Cadenza looks at her. "And where are you going?" he asked Elegy stopped but didn't look at him. "I'm going to go kill them myself" Cadenza laughed "Are you mad you know you alone can't kill them." She began to walk away.
The Zweit's where on there way back from school. "Man, spring needs to hurry up I can't take this cold weather, we really shouldn't go to school during the winter." Hostuma said everyone laughed "and what play video games all day long?" Shusei asked "Shut up!" Hotsuma replied. They all came to stop sign and waited for it to turn green, until eveything turned dark around them. They all looked around then suddenly they were ambushed by Duras.
They all summoned their wepons and began to attack, "What in the world are they doing here!?" Toko shouted. The more they killed the more Duras appeared, "We're surrounded!" Hotsuma called out. Toko turned to Tsukumo he nodded and began to use his power his Kami no Mimi. He projected his voice in hoping to reach Luka and Yuki.
Yuki was taking a shower while Luka was still in Yuki'a room until he heard Tsukumo voice. It was faint but he could hear him. "Luka...help us where surrounded by duras, please come and bring Yuki with you..." after Luka recived the message he got up and walked out and into the hallway where Yuki was already dressed and standing there.
"What's wrong" she asked Luka quickly grab her hand and began to walk. "They need us" he replayed he heard a small gasp escape Yuki's lips. "You mean Toko and the others?" Luka nodded "We need to hurry." He called for Sodom and they left.
After Tsukumo used Kami No Mimi he used summoned his gun and joined the rest. Toko looks back at him "So?" she questioned Tsumoko. "He revived it, but said nothing do not worry they will come, I put some of our energy in the message so they can find us."
Everyone was worn out but keep fighting Hostsuma began to get annoyed. "Dammit what is taking them so long!" he yelled. "Just keep fighting I'm sure they will come" Tsukumo said. After that everyone began to feel a strong feeling coming from behind them, It was Luka and Yuki.
Luka turned to Yuki "Go heal them, Sodom and I got this." Yuki nodded and ran to them, she used Halo Wall. The green-ish light surround them creating a barrier, The zweit's felt the warmth and kindest while in the light, everyone injuries where healing. Luka began to attack wiping hordes after hordes of duras, Sodom of course protecting Yuki and the others.
Yuki began to shake she couldn't keep the barrier up for much longer, everyone's pain put alot on her. The light began to slowly fade everyone was worried "Yuki! stop this we're alright now now please before you over do it." Toko shouted "She's right Yuki our wounds are fine." Tsumuko also said, everyone nodded and Yuki stopped the barrier but shortly after she was shot by a powerful spell in her shoulder close to her heart. Her blood drip her clothes blood stained in her own blood, seeing her blood made Yuki go into shock and she faints.
Luka was finished with killing the duras and felt the energy of Elegy he wanted to run after her, but was more worried about Yuki. He turns around to see Yuki collapsed and runs towards her "Yuki!" he called out, no reply everyone was worried her breathing was slow Luka feared the worst.
Shortly after everyone heard a car pull up it was Ibuki she told everyone to get in and they rushed back to the main house.
Doctor Isuzu was waiting for them he asked all shorts of question about what happened, but was more worried about the wound Yuki had, and took Yuki under his care and everyone waited outside.
Author note: I decide to end the chapter here and pick up on it on another chapter. I kept you guys waiting long enough sorry about the huge delay, hoped everyone had a good Christmas and a new year! now the next chapter will be the FINAL I know I said final so many times but this time its for real.
