"Any more problems that need to be discussed?" Rhaegar asked his good brothers Ned and Oberyn. He didn't bother acknowledging anyone else in the throne room.

"No my -"

"Yes there is." Lord Tywin Lannister demanded cutting off Ned completely.

Rhaegar closed his eyes before reopening them as he turned to face the eldest Lannister royal. He knew he won't be able to get out of this conversation because Elia & Lyanna were both off visiting their respective houses with the children. Beside he knew the Lannister wasn't the only one who wanted to talk about the future, Rhaegar saw the way Roose, Stannis, Balon, and Walder. The only ones who weren't interested in strengthen the bonds were Ned, Oberyn, Hoster, and Olenna.

"What is there more to discuss my Lord?" Ned asked.

"We have to discuss our future and the alliances that need to be created to strength our bonds. My grandson Joffrey he is a summer short of being the proper age for an arranged marriage. Princess Rhaenys is well almost past her marriage age, my King."

"Rhaenys is seventeen summers and she is still a child. Joffrey is what thirteen? Fourteen summers at the most?" Oberyn hissed. Rhaegar was thankful for his good brothers because he had no patience to truly argue with any of the other Lords and he wouldn't be opposed to rewards his dragons with a treat.

"He is the best option for her. Joffrey is ideal and he would make excellent King one day. This will only hel-"

"Theon is sixteen summers. He's a man not a little boy like your pathetic grandson. Theon has been to battle already while your grandsons still suck on your daughter's nipples." Lord Balon Greyjoy rudely interrupted ignoring the glare Tywin sent his way.

Lord Roose Bolton chuckled, "You're all damn idiots. Ramsay is seventeen summers the same age as Princess Rhaenys. They have more in common then she would have in common with some little boys."

"There is not reason to rush marriage-"

"Of course there is no reason for House Stark, Martell, Tully or even House Tyrell! The Houses of Stark, Martell and Tully are guarantee support regardless of anything beside King Rhaegar have you not already arranged an marriage between Prince Jon and the Stark heir." Walder Frey hissed. His hand clutching his wine glass almost daring for an argument. "I have two sons both who are a more realistic marriage for Princess Rhaenys or even Prince Aegon."

"Shireen is still only twelve summers but she knows the duties of being a proper wife." Stannis added.

"As does Myrcella-"

"Yes her fostering in Dorne with that Martell boy is so proper." Roose hissed.

Oberyn eyes narrowed at the comment. He might always agree with his family but he would have no one speak ill of his nephew Trystane. "Now listen here you Bolton scum-"

"Silence." Rhaegar hissed.

The throne room grew quiet as Rhaegar straighten up in his throne, "I agree with all of you my Lords. We do need to strength the bonds within our kingdoms and our allies however we will not do it at the expense of my children happiness. Rhaenys is still a young lady who is just growing and I will not tie her down to someone who will hinder her growth. Aegon has no desire to marry and I will not make him. Now Jon has found his happiness in Robb such as I have in Elia and Lyanna. Now if you desire to strength the bonds between our houses and create more allies try looking at each other. Lord Tywin your grandsons loved interacting with my younger nephews Rickon & Bran in Winterfell and Myrcella enjoys her time in Dorne with my other nephew Trystane. Why not form alliances there first and secure your grandchildren happiness. Lord Balon and Lord Roose your sons have a connective why not make it beneficial for your respective houses. Stannis little Shireen is still a child, let her be a child, your child a little longer. Lord Walder you would do better letting your sons fall in love by themselves." as the words left King Rhaegar mouth the Lords straighten up.

It was clear to anyone that the words of the King weren't to be taken lightly and some of them aren't simple statements.
