30 minutes later, Ratliff was back at the centre to get Laura's two books she left behind. He didn't even know what the two notebooks she had contained because she always hid them from everyone. So now it wouldn't hurt to look whilst she's not around. See if she is a good story writer and song writer.

He got let into Laura's room by Demonica and left instantly before Ratliff shut the door so he could have some privacy reading these two notebooks. They were sat down on the bed. One was yellow and the other was green.

Which is so ironic, because Ratliff's favourite colour is green and Ross's is yellow? Ironic? Huh?

Grr. Ross. Ratliff doesn't want to hate Ross, because that would just put them back to the beginning. He still loves Ross no matter what, but as Ross said in the bathroom to Calum and Jacob... He feels nothing for Ratliff and never has. Ratliff means nothing Ross. Which is strange because it's the complete opposite to Ratliff when it comes to Ross?

How could Ratliff be so stupid to of actually thought Ross liked him like that? He's a pretty good god damn actor that's for sure.

He sat down on the edge of the bed. The two notebooks were burning a hole in the side of Ratliff as he was tempted to read them both. But it would be wrong and disrespectful to Laura's privacy. Then again... Laura's not here and she don't have to know Ratliff has read them. No it's wrong he shouldn't.

Then again Ratliff is more than likely never to see Laura again.

He then picked up the yellow notebook and began to read it.

The yellow one appears to be songs Laura has wrote in her time being at the centre. He read them. DAMN. They are really good! She even put the dates of the days she wrote them.

It was so strange, he couldn't help but smile. They reminded him of something but he couldn't but his finger on it.

'Hate That I Love you' was one. 'According To you' was another. 'Better Than Revenge' and then 'Wait For Me'.

He read the lyrics to Better than Revenge. That's what got him thinking a little bit;

The story starts when it was hot and it was summer and...

I had it all; I had him right there where I wanted him

She came along, got him alone and let's hear the applause

She took him faster than you could say "sabotage"

Is it bad that that reminds Ratliff from when Ross and Ratliff had finally became friends, Ratliff didn't exactly want any of it to change and then Maia came and... Well... She kind of stole Ross a little in a way? No. Okay.

I never saw it coming, wouldn't of suspected it,
I underestimated just who I was dealing with,

It's true... Ratliff did kind of underestimate who he was dealing with when it came to Maia.

She had to know the pain was beating on me like a drum

Ross seemed a little hurt when Kelly came back. A lot. Almost like he was jealous. But he was faking so...

She underestimated just who she was stealing from,

Hmmm... It was like that when Ross threw the bucket of water over Kelly. 'Cause she seemed pretty pissed by that.

Ratliff sighed; he doesn't even know why he's thinking this whilst reading the song lyrics? All the songs have nothing to do with Ross and Ratliff do they?

He shut the yellow notebook and picked up the green one and began to read. Which were obviously the stories.

Wow. These stories are pretty good; he's not going to lie. He cocked his head a little whilst reading them. The stories seemed to be about these two people who've hated each other for so long and then realize they love each-

"Oh no..." Ratliff said.

He kept on reading through the green one until he got to the end before he opened up the yellow one once more. That's when he realized. Laura didn't just write stories and songs about anything random that came to her mind...

She wrote about Ross and Ratliff.

'I Think about You' was another one. He sighed as he read the lyrics.

This summer we met, we started as friends,

He then just shut the note book, but a piece of paper slipped out from the back and he picked it up and read it.

To Ross or Ratliff,

I know one of you is probably reading this by now because I've left and left the notebooks behind and Demonica has probably asked you to come get them...

All I am saying is don't be freaked out by the stories and the songs I wrote about you both if you've clicked on... It's just I haven't met two people who inspire me so much before. Whether or not you hate each other or like... Or better yet love.

Throughout the time I have been at the centre, which is the same time as you both... I've watched you both. You've both come such a long way from the beginning of the summer. I'm writing this now because I am about to leave for New York. 'Cause Ross's brother Riker is taking me back home! :D

These are just a few things I want to say before I go...

No matter what when you both go back to school, I hope you work things out and still remain friends, best friend's, or better yet lovers :) Even if someone, Jaymee, decides to go tell people about you both because she told me was going to because of Ross being a jerk. Don't let anyone tell you, you guys can't be together! Love is love.

I know one of you is going to get into a tough spot with a friend and you are going to deny any feelings for one another. Let's say it's Ross, Ross will get into a tough spot where he doesn't want to lose Raini or Calum as a friend, so he will deny all feelings for Ratliff in front of them. When in reality. He loves him so much, more than you could ever know. I know this because Ross said it's what he'd say to Raini and Calum 'cause he doesn't know their reactions to gay people.

So please, for the love of god stick together! You both have come way too far now to give up being friends, best friends or lovers. Please... Don't give up!

Ratliff smiled. Ross does love him; he's just saying that to Calum because he is afraid of losing him. He's never felt so happy in his entire life. He then grabbed both of the notebooks before leaving the centre and going back to school.

When he got back to school it was half way through lunch time so everyone was getting something to eat. He wasn't in the eating mood, he needed to find Ross.

Right now he's beginning to think that he and Ross just staying friends isn't really a good thing. It's just beginning to kill him and eat him alive even more than it was before. The need to be together no matter what and not give up. Just like Laura said in that note.

They can't give up. Not yet anyway.

As he was walking along the corridor, he saw Ross walking along so Ratliff grabbed him by the arm and quickly dragged him into the bathroom. Nobody was in there either so it was private.

"Whoa," Ross said "what's wrong?" Ross asked.

"I love you." Ratliff said.

"Yeah I know, I love you too, you know that," Ross said "but you said its better us being just friends rather then not ruin our friendship."

"But I don't wanna be your friend Ross!" Ratliff whined.

"Oh jee thanks..."

"I want to be more..." Ratliff said "I know I said that it'd be better us just being friends, but I got called back to the centre to get these two notebooks Laura left behind. She left a message in the back of one of them for us. That's what made me realize..." Ratliff continued "c'mon Ross... Who cares what people say? Love is love."

Ross sighed. He knew Ratliff is right. Love IS love and nobody can change that.

Ratliff then took the notebooks out of his bag pack and gave them to Ross, which Ross took hold of.

"These are Laura's," Ratliff said "the note is in the green notebook. Read them notebooks and the note and then tell me shouldn't be together after everything we've been through. That's what she's basically written..."

Ratliff then left the bathroom, shutting the door. Leaving Ross stood there with both notebooks in his hands. Ross looked down at them. SONGS was written across the yellow one and STORIES was written across the green one.

Even Ross noticed straight away that they were green and yellow, Ratliff and Ross's favourite colours. He opened them and began to read all the way through until he got to the note. He read before smiling. Ratliff was right, he doesn't see any reason now why they shouldn't be together. After all they've been through a heck of a lot.

It was the end of the school day, and Ross followed Ratliff out of school until they got walking past the park.

"Ratliff!" Ross called as he ran up to him.

Ratliff turned around "Thought about it?" Ratliff asked.

Ross nodded.

"And...?" Ratliff asked.

"Does this answer your question?" Ross asked.

Ratliff cocked his head in confusion at Ross, which was until Ross put his hand behind Ratliff's neck and pulled him in close and kissed him on the lips. It was like fireworks blew up everywhere! Best kiss in the world.

Ross then pulled away and looked at him as a smile crept up on Ratliff's face and he nodded.

Basically. Their thoughts right now... Who gives a flying fuck about what people think? Love is love and nobody can exactly change that.

For the rest of that school year they stayed together through their fights and disagreements, most people were accepting of it and didn't care and some didn't like it and made fun. But they ignored that.

Even after High School they were still together.

One thing was for sure was that they couldn't wait to see what the rest of the future brought them both.

"And that is the end..." Laura said she shut the notebook.

Ross, Ratliff, Rydel, Riker, Rocky, Raini and Calum were sat at the far end of the room on chairs looking at Laura shocked. Some of them with their mouths hung open. All of them thinking 'What the heck did she just write...?'

Everyone in the room clapped for Laura and she walked from behind the stand to the others smiling. "So, you like?" Laura asked.

"What did you just write?" Ratliff asked.

"A story."

"Umm... Laura..." Ross said "this was a contest of write a Fan Fiction of you and your friends... Not a frickin' odd love story between two of your friends."

"It had me, you, Ratliff, Rydel, Rocky, Riker, Raini, Calum and Maia in it, didn't it?" Laura asked.

Ross then shut up and slouched in his chair.

"Yeah, but who are Jaymee, Cassie and Jacob? They are made up characters!" Ross said "I didn't have made up characters in mine!"

Laura rolled her eyes at Ross playfully.

"Besides," Laura said "I found it funny to write. Also, payback for the time when you, Ross, got entered into the last 'write-a-fan-fiction-about-you-and-your-friends' and wrote a Fan Fic about me and Rydel."

"Oh..."

"Plus, if you and Ratliff were gay," Laura began "and Ratliff wasn't with Rydel and you weren't dating me Ross, I think you two would be pretty cute together." She said nodding.

Ratliff and Ross looked at each other strangely before looking at Laura "No!" The both said.

Laura rolled her eyes playfully.

"Besides," Ross said "this was a challenge Disney set you up to do! Now you've probably started a whole new fan-base of people shipping me and Ratliff now!"

"Awe, didums, that's the same challenge you got," Rydel said in a baby voice before going back to her normal voice "besides, it seems fair seen as though after you, Ross, wrote that one about me and Laura... You started a whole new fan-base of people shipping us together."

Ross couldn't help but laugh at that. It was hilarious when he done that because all the R5 fans and Austin & Ally fans started shipping Lydel or Rydaura as some people calls it. It was pretty hilarious for everyone. But now Ratliff and Ross are probably going to get a fan-base called 'Rosslington'.

Oh well.

Ross and Ratliff guess it's only fair.

"Besides," Ratliff said "I don't need to hate Ross and have someone come along and make me jealous to get Ross to go out with me or get flattered when I flirt with him. Watch."

Ratliff sat back in the chair and put an arm behind Ross's chair and cross one of his legs over.

"Sup baby." Ratliff said nodding his head in a flirty way.

Ross glared Ratliff before slapping him in the face.

"Okay maybe not..." Ratliff said sitting back normal whilst holding his face.

But can you imagine if that Fan-Fiction Laura wrote was actually real? That would have been something to deal with... Yet fun.

Oh well.

Hahahhahahahha! LOL. I told Keely (rosslynchdramaseeker/Lov3R5er) about the ending and she was mind blown by it ;)
