Chapter twenty-four part two: SunnyD - The Power of the Sun
"So we meet again, Q-Proto" I say as I face the Nasod war machine. "It's been quite a while." Q-Proto stands staring at me with her emotionless golden eyes.
"I will eliminate those who stand in the way" she replies as she takes a quick step back, materializing a machine gun in the process. "Atomic Blaster."
Bullets fly towards me which causes me to begin dodging. As I dodge, they start coming faster. I draw my swords and start deflecting the bullets as they fly past me. I advance closer in an attempt to cut Q-Proto's gun, but then she switches it with a new one.
"Hornet Sting." A high powered missile flies right at me.
I stop cutting to guard rather than deflecting. It blasts me back a bit, but I remain standing. That would have hurt if I didn't block in time. Darn it, all of these weapons!
"Illusion stinger." Her relentless assault of skills continues as her drones transforms into twin pronged spears. They then launch at me. I hold my hand out and blast a large fireball to counter Proto's move.
The two moves collide and an explosion happens at the collision point Q-proto forms a spear. "Assault Stinger" she says as launches the spear. It zips at me at high speed and ends up knocking me straight into the air. She then flies to me and starts hacking and slashing with multiple spikes. I try to block her attacks, but I was in the air unbalanced. She then smacks me down to the ground. My back bounces off the ground as the air gets knocked out of my lungs. I begin to recover while coughing due to the impact.
"So you like to fly around huh? Well, let's put an end to that" I say as I put my hands close to each other and make a fireball. "Come forth, body of the Fire Dragon!" The fire turns into lava and it engulfs my body. The lava then hardens, forming heavy armor. "Now let see you try that again Proto." I dash to Proto and begin slashing at her. She blocks my swing and we hold a stalemate with are weapon crossed. "You're one stubborn Nasod." I feel a pulse run through my swords as Proto sends an electric shock down my swords. It causes me to drop my swords. "Well now, isn't this something else?" I draw Shakunetsu no tamashī. "Fire Wave!" I place the tip of my sword in ground and swing upward in the direction of Proto. The fire wraps itself around her.
"Suck weak fire cannot burn me" she says as she twirls around a lance she created, creating a vortex and scattering the fire. She stabs the ground and causes spikes to rise. They knock me into the air, but the weight of my armor keeps me low to the ground.
"That won't work on me anymore Proto." Q-Proto remains silent as she steps back, re-summoning the machine gun she once made.
"Atomic Blaster."
"Not again. Shield!" A barrier forms, blocking the bullets. "Now to stop horsing around. It's time for a little magic trick." A rune forms behind Proto. "Wind blade!" The mystical blade jabs Proto in the back. "I have you now." A lance rises for the ground and toward me, breaking my mask and a helm off.
"Hornet sting." The bullet flies into my shoulder, making me fall." Persistent hunter. It would seem you're near your limit." I manage to pull myself back up and glare at her.
"I'd like to say the same, but you shot me. I was trying to avoid this, but now I have to get serious" I say as I raise my hands, making my two swords return to me. "Alright now Q-Proto, give all you got. Runic Wave: Quantitative improvement Wind Blade!"
"Atomic Shield. This is nothing to me." My runes hit her shield, doing nothing in the process. "Explosive impact." A whip emerges from the shield and grabs me.
"What is this? I can't move." I try, but it still doesn't come off. A chain of explosions goes off, sending dust and shrapnel around. Once the dust clears, I stand here, still glaring at Proto.
"No, not like this. I won't fall here and not by the likes of you. Now that I'm heated, you're going down." I rush forward, closing the distance between us and then punch Proto in the face. The punch blasts her back with a small explosion. My armor begins glowing red orange and my wounds close, but doesn't completely heal. "Ok, I'm going to end this game Q-Proto. The Demon hunters will stop Edan and all your plans!"
Q-Proto remains silent, as though she didn't hear me. I let out a slight sigh. "Queens Throne. Prepare yourself for combat, hunter. "Assault Spear."
"I'm more than prepared. Solace! Solar Blade!" Once again, our two attacks meet and a crater forms when the two moves finish. We both receive massive damage from the aftermath.
"You are very resistant toward defeat, hunter." Her emotionless eyes seem unfazed by the event that we just witnessed.
"Haha, I'm not an Executioner just for show." Proto sends a wave of blades along the ground following me. I take advantage of the positioning of the blades to lunge myself at Proto. We begin a melee fight once more. "This time, your electric shock will not travel to me. I'll just conduct it with the energy around Shakunetsu no tamashī." She jumps back, increasing the distance.
"We shall end this here, Executioner."
"That, I can agree with you on. This battle shall end with one of us dead." Proto flies into the air, making even more distance between us while unleashing a fury of electric spheres.
"Fire Dragon's Wing!" I swing my sword toward Proto, fireballs shooting from it. The impact creates another shock wave between the moves. We both land and stare at each other.
"This next attack will eradicate you. I advise you dodge to avoid excessive pain, resulting in death. Lunatic Scud." I quickly calm myself as I tighten the grip on my swords.
"I'll show something that I know no one knows about. Unfortunately, you won't live to tell the tale. Come forth, Sword of Light. Lord of Dawn!" My two swords conjoin, forming a blade made of pure light. Q-Proto's restless attack of combined explosions land, but there was no body at the point of collision. "You missed." I axe kick her to the ground, light binding her to keep her from moving. I fall down and walk over to her.
"Impressive. How did you escape?"
"I can move at the speed of light. Currently, I'm the fastest hunter and no one knows about this speed. You can thank Spriggan for the bindings. It's a great move for executing. Now to end you once and for all."
"Twilight Fade!" I shout as I toss Lord of Dawn into the air. Light falls from above, engulfing Q-Proto in light. The massive heat from the attack scars the earth underneath her. She falls over, a now empty shell. I sigh as I sit on the ground, exhausted. That really took a lot of energy. I think as I look up to the sky. Now to wait for Lucifel to finish with Edan.
