Thanks to Batsy8792 and virls1o1 for commenting on my last couple of chapters.

Virls1o1 – I am glad that you loved the chapters, I was nervous as to how everyone would react to them. Hope isn't lost yet, I still have plans for the virals.

Batsy8792 – I'm glad your excited that I started posting again, I promise while the end is now in sight I still have a few plans for the virals. If we do schedule a pick on Jason day you wouldn't be the only one celebrating, I'd be shouting all about it on the top of my lungs. I have a hate/love relationship with Lavender. I needed her in the story for her Dad, Chance and to kick of Tory's jealousy. I had never planned to bring her in more but somehow it happened. Now I sort of need her there so Tory actually had a girl to talk to. I'm glad you are loving the plot so far, it keeps changing in my head pretty much sentence to sentence. I tried to make 23 longer but I felt like I was in suspense writing it because I knew how I was going to end the chapter. I've had that particular twist planned out since chapter 1. It was always going to be in the story but I was struggling to fit it in. Originally it was going to happen when Tory almost drowned, but instead Tory almost drowned. If you're still curled up in a ball crying don't feel bad, I am too.

I apologize for not posting as much as I should have been for you all, I just haven't been able to write, especially over the last month.

So the bomb going off is something I've had planned since chapter one, just to let you all know.

So I own up there is swearing in the song but it is a Pink song….

I don't own virals, just Lavender and the plot.

Cut to now, holy wow

When did everything become such a hell of a mess?

Maybe now, maybe now, can somebody come and take this off my chest?

I know you think it's not your problem (problem)

I know you think that God will solve them (solve them)

But if your shit is not together

It'll never be you and me, plant the seed

Open up and let it be

We are the people that you'll never get the best of

Not forget the rest of, rest of (Ooohhh)

We've had our fill, we've had enough, we've had it up to here

Are we all we are

Are we all we are

"Tory you have to talk to them?" Kit sighed, standing at the bottom of her bed. For the last week and a half Tory had been in hospital, in a medical induced coma for 5 of those days. She had a fractured cheek bone, her ankle had broken, even with the boot on it, with three fractures to her left arm and four fractured ribs.

"I don't want to see them."

"They went after you Tory. They tried to save you."

"I didn't need their help and I certainly don't need them."

"Honey those boys have been out there every single day since that ambulance brought you in. They came in, held you hand and talked to you for hours on end. Whatever you are fighting about need to be forgotten and forgiven."

"It's a bit more complicated then that Kit, but ask them why I can't forgive them. I'm sure they would love to tell you the reasons why we aren't talking."

"You almost died for them."

"I almost died for everyone."

That was three weeks ago. School had started up again but Tory was not able to go with both her arm and leg broken so Lavender and her father opened up their home to Tory so she could move about easier in the wheel chair and Temperance hired a tutor for both Lavender and Tory, Lavender refusing to leave her side.

"Ok seriously snapped out of it," Lavender huffed, breaking Tory away from her memory. "I've been trying to talk to you for the last five minutes."

"Sorry."

"What's on your mind?" Lavender sighed, sitting down on the couch, which also was Kit's bed.

"Take a guess."

"I still don't know what was so bad that you went out of your way to avoid them and ban them from seeing you in the hospital or coming to see you here."

"They said something that I'm not going to forget or forgive easy. I ignored them but they went out of their way to avoid me. They didn't even have the decency to say sorry or even to just hear what I had to say. I was going to try and talk to them but they weren't having that so I'm done. They didn't want to hear what I said and they didn't want to say sorry so guess what I'm going to do the same."

"They said something or Ben say something?"

Tory looked down then, blink away the tears. "Ben."

"What did he say Tor?"

"Doesn't matter now. What's done is done, but there is no way I'm talking to those boys anytime soon."

"Tory if you don't answer you phone I'm going to throw it out the window," Chance threatened, glaring at the offending object.

Tory glanced at him, her eyes still red. "I don't care what you do with it. I'm not going to talk to them anyway and Kit practically lives here to so anyone who wants me can talk to me through him."

"When did it become such a mess between the four of you?"

"When they brought –" Tory put her hand over Lavender's mouth.

"Shut it," Tory hissed at her friend, who removed her hand, looking just as mad.

Chance left the room as they started to fight again, taking the phone with him.

"She doesn't want to talk to you," Chance answered softly.

"And who are you to talk for her?" Ben snapped back. Chance could just see how furious he would be at him answering.

"Well since I'm awoken at least once a night, and that's on a good night and there aren't many of them, from her nightmares I think I have a good idea. Especially when she calls out your name but it always seems like your walking away from her, and let's not mention that when Lavender or Angela or Temperance or Cam or Cam's daughter try and calm her down she sobs about how none of you are ever there and the rest of us are dead. And last but not least she told Lavender, for the first time, what you said to her about her mother."

"I need to talk to her," but even Chance could tell he had los this fire, honestly he sounded like he was begging a little.

"No way. I don't know what she went through in that building and trying to make it up to you three but something happened and she's broken, well almost broken."

"Come on you have to help him, he's driving us mad," Shelton butted in.

"Oh please like your much better. Remember I heard everything that Tory confessed to Lav. Now leave her alone. You want to talk to her, go through Kit otherwise she is going to smash this phone if she gets one more phone call."

Chance hung up then and dug out his own phone.

Ben's phone went off and automatically he opened it.

Waiting to see your next more.
