I have decided to try and start the story again. Basically I have kind of stopped watching Eastenders regularly as I have had no time but I still kind of know what is going on and then this afternoon I was looking on my planner and noticed Eastenders so I watched last night's one and it got me hooked again. I love Ronnie and can't wait till she comes back.
So basically I have decided to continue with this story but it is a year later meaning that Lexi is now 13. Ronnie didn't kill Carl but she is pregnant and left Lexi in the care of Roxy while she went to Peggy's to sort some things out.
So now she is back and we will see how this has affected her relationship with Lexi. Can someone please review/pm me who the father is if you know?
Roxy had just picked Amy up from nursery and had arrived home. Amy was really hyper and it was starting to get on Roxy's nerve.
"Amy will you just sit down and watch the TV" Roxy snapped.
"Fine" Amy said sulking.
"When will Lexi be home?" Amy asked.
"Em in about half an hour or so" Roxy said looking at her watch.
"That's ages away" Amy complained.
"Well, just watched the TV and it will make the time go faster" Roxy said before she was interrupted by the doorbell. She walked over to the door and answered it. Roxy was shocked to see her sister standing there but her smile disappeared when she saw her sister motioning to her bump.
"What?!" Roxy shouted.
"I'm pregnant" Ronnie said.
"I noticed that" Roxy said. "How far gone?"
"About 4 or 5 months" Ronnie said.
"I can't believe you never told me" Roxy said.
"I'm sorry" Ronnie said.
"It's okay" Roxy said before pulling her sister into a hug. "I don't think your daughter is going to be so forgiving"
"How is she getting on?" Ronnie asked.
"She is a typical moody teenager" Roxy said. "She has changed quite a bit since you left"
"What do you mean?" Ronnie asked.
"She is so like you Ron, especially as she has started to come out of her shell. She is nearly the same height as me now but she is still really skinny" Roxy said.
"I've missed her" Ronnie said.
"Ron, I know but don't be offended if she freaks out and doesn't listen to you" Roxy said.
"It's okay, I understand" Ronnie said.
"Mummy" Amy shouted.
"Amy, come here" Roxy said and Amy came running through. It might have been just over 3 months since Ronnie had left but Amy had changed so much.
"Auntie Ronnie" Amy shouted and ran into Ronnie's arms.
"Hey, baby girl" Ronnie said as she stood up with Amy in her arms.
"Haven't you gotten so big" Ronnie said and Amy giggled. Ronnie heard the door open and she turned around noticing her daughter. Roxy was right when she said that she was nearly her height. Ronnie was shocked at how much she had grown over the last months.
"Lex" Ronnie said and Lexi just glared at her. Ronnie put Amy down making her stomach more revealing.
"What the hell?" Lexi said pointing to Ronnie stomach before storming up the stairs. Ronnie went to go after her but Roxy stopped her.
"Let her calm down, trust me it works" Roxy said. She knew this as she had quite a large number of run in while Ronnie had been away.
Roxy and Ronnie went into the living room with Amy and Roxy nipped up the stairs to see Lexi. She walked into Lexi's room without even knocking and noticed the girl sitting on the bed cuddling up to her pillow.
"Come on, babe come down the stairs" Roxy said.
"Why? I don't want to see her" Lexi said.
"Lex, please give her a chance" Roxy said. Lexi shook her head.
"Lex, down the stairs now" Roxy said raising her voice slightly. Lexi sighed and got up, she walked down the stairs and noticed her mum and cousin on the sofa so decided to sit on the floor as far away from her mum as she could.
"Do you want your presents?" Ronnie asked and Amy nodded jumping up and down out of her seat.
"Okay" Ronnie said smiling at her niece. She went into her back and gave Amy a game for her Nintendo. Ronnie then got a white beach style skater dress out of her bag.
" Oh Lex, that's lovely" Roxy said. Lexi didn't look to impressed but that was because she was annoyed with her mum. Secretly she really liked the dress.
"Go and try it on" Roxy said and Lexi nodded. She disappeared back up to her room.
"She really hates me doesn't she" Ronnie said.
"No, she is just angry. Just be nice to her and gentle with her." Roxy said and Ronnie nodded. Lexi came down the stairs.
"Oh Lex, you look amazing" Roxy said and Ronnie nodded smiling. Looking at her daughter, there made her feel like she had missed out on so much.
"It's a little pick at the straps" Lexi said.
"Come here" Ronnie said softly and Lexi sat down next to her mum.
"Let it go" Ronnie said telling her daughter to stop holding up the straps. The dress fell down just slightly so it just slightly showed her bra. Gently Ronnie started to tighten the strap on one side and then the other before smiling and putting her hand on Lexi's shoulder to indicate that she was done. Lexi stood up and did a twirl, she smiled as she looked down at her dress.
"I'm going to go back up the stairs and change into my jammies" Lexi said looking at Roxy and Roxy nodded.
"She seems quite reserved" Ronnie said and Roxy nodded.
"I think she feels quite nervous and I don't really understand why" Roxy said.
"It's me" Ronnie said and Roxy looked at her.
"Just give her some time, maybe go and speak to her later tonight when she is in bed. She is always more cuddly at night" Roxy said and Ronnie nodded. She remembered that. She couldn't believe how independent the girl was being. Lexi soon came back down the stairs and lay on the sofa. Ronnie and Roxy were both sat on the other sofa. They sat in silence watching the TV until about 10 when Lexi decided she wanted to go up the stairs.
"I'm going to go up to bed" Lexi said and Roxy nodded. Lexi walked over to Roxy and instantly gave her a hug. Roxy kissed her on the head.
"Love you, Lex" Roxy said.
"Love you too, Rox" Lexi said before pulling away. Lexi then went up to her mum. She hesitated before giving her mum a quick hug before running up the stairs quickly. It hurt Ronnie so much to feel the tension in her daughter when she gave her a hug.
They continued to watch the TV for a bit before Ronnie decided to go up to bed. She knocked on Lexi's door first and walked in shocked to notice her daughter on her phone.
"Shouldn't you be sleeping?" Ronnie asked and Lexi shrugged her shoulder. Ronnie sat down on the edge of Lexi's bed.
"Baby, I'm really sorry please tell me what I did wrong?" Ronnie said.
"What you did wrong?" Lexi said in shock. "You left me"
"I needed to get away, baby I had to sort some things out. I promised you that I would be back" Ronnie said.
"You barely even said goodbye. You haven't phoned me or anything. I have needed my mum and Roxy is good but I needed you and you weren't there." Lexi said letting the tears slip down her face.
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry" Ronnie said pulling her daughter into her arms.
"Do you want to talk now?" Ronnie asked and Lexi shook her head.
"Maybe later" Lexi said and Ronnie just nodded. She went to get up but Lexi held her down.
"Can you just hold me, please?" Lexi begged and Ronnie nodded smiling. She wanted to do this so much since she arrived home.
"Let me go and get my jammies on" Ronnie said and Lexi nodded. Ronnie got changed before going back into Lexi's room. She climbed into Lexi's bed and cuddled up with her daughter.
"Your bump is getting in the way" Lexi said and Ronnie laughed.
"Sorry, it's only going to get bigger" Ronnie said. They cuddled up for a bit longer before they both slipped off to sleep.
So what do you think? Please please please review if you think I should continue :)
