2 years pass. It is a time of joyful tribulation at St. John Paul II Cathedral in Mewuskovia. Lilly and Zang stood at the alter and read their vows to each other in front of the Very Reverend Samuel Jordan, who officiated the nupital mass.
Zang: Lilly, I have loved for so long. You did not know of any secret crush until two years ago as I comforted you for your loss. I do not intend to replace the Aura Guardian, your first lover. However, I intend to give you undying love and protection for the rest of your life. In sickness and in health, I will always be there.
Lilly: Zang, you have assisted me in the office for over two decades now, but I never realized we would be standing up here this day. Though you will not replace my first hero, I know you will show me undying love. You comforted me when my brother died, you saved me from certain death by that monster that is still on the lamb, and you have helped me move on. I can be in peace once more, having a lifelong partner to age with.
Narrator: The rest of the Mass ensued. The Bishop pronounced the couple husband and wife, giving permission for them to kiss. They processed out and held a public wedding reception, open to the whole village and their friends and family, along with the Major Crimes Unit. They danced their first dance as a married couple to Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" and locked lips. They will surely live happy lives together.
