I greet her as she walks into my kitchen with coffee. She hands me my cup and sets her stuff down on the counter.

"So last night went well?"

"Yeah, besides the fact that I lied to Jade..."

"About?"

"Selena"

"I know. I said I didn't have feelings, but... I'm just really confused right now. I'm still single, so.."

"You can't lead her on, though."

"Sooo, you didn't do anything in spite of Scooter, but you stoping wasn't for Jade being the reason, it was Scooter, and now you think you might've actually did something had Scooter not been behind you going to Paris with Selena in the first place?"

I process what Effy just said for a second before responding.

"...Yeeeesss?...Yes."

"Well... Sounds like you should probably take some time to figure out how you feel."

"Jade slept with someone."

"Who?"

"I don't know, I kind of just waved it off."

Effy just shakes her head at me.

"Well, I do know one thing."

I look up at Effy for her to continue.

"Selena definitely wanted to be with you in Paris."

A/N: Sooo Y'all are driving me insane with Selena. Y'all went from Jori to Torlena(?) REAL quick! So here's some foreshadowing of what's to come.
