Before You Go

Kate

It was the day before twelve omegas from this pack will die and be reborn as alpha's. The surrounding peaks were coated in snow, and snow in the valley was sure to come within the next few days. Wolves waited anxiously for their favorite season, a transformed land in which they would strive in.

Life continued on normaly for the most part. I've caught Tasha eying males curiously from time to time. I hoped that curiousity was the only emotion felt by her. If not, then she'll be doomed come mating season. I have a feeling that she will no longer be an inocent pup when I return from alpha school. Humphrey will be here for her, but I doubt he'll provide any kind of emotional comfort.

Along with me, Garth, Hutch, Winston, and Tony will be going to alpha school. Hutch and I will train the twelve omegas from our pack, and Garth and Tony will train the omegas from the southern pack. Winston will over-see the whole thing since he has the most experience in training future alphas. Eve decided to stay behind to help Humphrey lead the pack, and take care of Tasha.

I was curious of her decision to stay behind when she was more than welcome to come. Why wouldn't she go? She's going to be without Winston for a few days in her last year of heat. I wondered how I will survive without Humphrey when the urges come. If I'm lucky, I'll began heat a week late, and I wont have to restrain those erges. That's what happened last year, but Humphrey wasn't there when I needed him most. Humphrey was always there for me when I needed him, but the one time that I wanted him, he wasn't. Anyway... There's no need to think about that now.

I look up at the moon from the spot of our first moonlight-howl. It was a week after we got together. I remembered how good our howls sounded together on the train, but It still shocked me to hear the two tones mix so perfectly. A tingling nerve caused by the thought of his howl led to a shiver.

"You cold?" He asks.

I smile, and turn around. Humphrey stood boldly a few paces away, tail raised, and head high; the true stance of an alpha. How did he sneak up on me like that? How did he know where I was? How did he know I needed him?

"No" I reply lazily.

I couldn't find the energy to say anything else. He sat beside me in an assertive way. Did he mean to be-little me? I burried my face into his shoulder, craving the contact and warmth.

"I have to leave in three hours" I tell him.

"Then let me come with you" He pleads.

"You know I can't do that".

"I know" He sighs.

I knew this was going to be just as hard on him as it would for me, but I know he can do it. He's done it before. I wasn't sure if I could do it. Go all winter without someone to pleasure me?

"For three months, I won't be able to see you, Hear you..." He pauses and looks me in the eye.

"Feel you".

I stared into his eyes, unaware that the gap between us was slowly deminishing. He leaned forward and kissed me, which I gladly accepted. He pushed me on my back rather hard, but it didn't hurt. I was actually turned on by his agressiveness. His lips slowly part from mine.

"Before you go, I want a piece of this ass" Humphrey growls.

"It's all yours" I grin "Destroy it".

Humphrey

Kate lay under me, panting wildly. I admired her body while she caught her breath. Every curve of her body, even every strain of hair seemed to be working towards one goal; to create a breath-taking appearance.

"What are you looking at?" Kate growls playfully.

"The most beautiful thing on earth" I reply.

"Aww, you're so sweet" Kate licks my muzzle.

"I try" I smile slyly.

Kate giggles. I scanned the horizon to find that their was a slight amount of light over the mountains. The sun would soon come up, and Kate would leave me, but this did not sadden me. What we had would never go away, and won't dull in three months. When Kate returned from alpha school, we will have a passionate reuniting. Right now I felt invincible.
