Hey folks! Well this is it! The final installment of "Agents of SHEILD 25". I hope you enjoyed the story! This doesn't mean I'm done writing...I may do some one-shots throughout the rest of this season, so follow me if you'd like to be updated when those happen! And after this season ends, I'll write another short story ("Agents of SHIELD 35", perhaps) taking place after the end of Season 2.

At no point during the writing of this fic did I own any part of the MCU.

Finally, thank you all for reading my story, and sticking through with it until the end! I really appreciate the support! I left the end of this chapter somewhat open-ended, so if you have questions/concerns/speculations about what might've happened next, feel free to comment or PM me, and I will answer your questions! As always, enjoy!

Coulson and his team landed at a discrete distance from the funeral procession. Fitz had his arm wrapped around Simmons's shoulders as they walked down the street to the cemetery.

"You know," Skye said quietly, as the agents made their way across the street. "We never had a proper funeral for Trip. We should make this his funeral too.

The team murmured their agreement, thinking about their old friend. Suddenly, Mack's cell phone rang, interrupting their reverie. "Sorry…hang on a second" he muttered as he answered the phone: "Hello?"

Mack nearly dropped the phone as he heard Bobbi screaming on the other end. "Whoa, slow down!...Bobbi, what happened?"

Simmons paled when she heard Mack's panicked voice, and Fitz squeezed her shoulders protectively. May and Coulson exchanged worried glances, and Skye stepped in front of Mack's face, mouthing "What happened? Are they okay?"

"We'll be right there!" Mack promised Bobbi, snapping the phone shut. "C'mon!" he yelled as he started running back to the Bus.

"Mack!" Coulson called, sprinting after him "What happened?"

Panting, Mack stammered. "B-bomb…blew up Bobbi's house. Hunter and Al-Alex…unconscious. She said s-something about Ward…don't know what."

May shot a worried look at Skye, "Maybe some of us ought to stay here" she suggested, "Fitzsimmons, Skye, why don't you go to the funeral…we can handle the bombing."

"Are you serious?" Coulson asked. "We're sticking together! Simmons is the closest thing we have to a doctor…there's no way she's staying behind!"

May swore quietly, but boarded the Bus behind Coulson, nodding at Skye to follow. As May pulled the plane off the ground, Skye hopped into the seat next to her. "May…what if…I…"

"Don't worry, Skye" May commanded. "It's impossible for him to be back. Relax."

Skye nodded, but couldn't keep from worrying. What if Ward really is back, and I blow everyone up? I would be responsible for the deaths of so many people…what was I thinking?

After what seemed like hours, the plane landed next to what used to be Bobbi's home. The six agents sprinted towards Bobbi, who was kneeling on the grass, still trying to rouse her unconscious daughter and ex-husband. "I-I don't think she's breathing" Bobbi gasped.

"Simmons, do what you can for Alex" May commanded, as she knelt down next to Hunter. She began to slap his face lightly, and started massaging his temples. "Come on, Hunter. Wake up…" Suddenly Hunter gasped, and rolled onto his side, retching into the burned grass. May stepped back from him, relieved.

Hunter grinned painfully at her. "See? I knew you liked me." May rolled her eyes, and helped him to his feet. When Hunter saw Simmons and Bobbi kneeling next to his still unconscious daughter, the smile faded off his face. He made his way over to Bobbi, and wrapped his arms tightly around her as Simmons began performing CPR.

Mack, Skye, Fitz and Coulson watched from a distance, horrified. Tears were streaming down Skye's cheeks as she watched Simmons try to revive the toddler. Even May was biting her lip nervously, and Coulson briefly squeezed her hand in reassurance.

Finally, Simmons fell back on her heels, as Alex regained consciousness. Bobbi released a sob, and threw her arms around her daughter. Relief flooded Hunter's face, and he brushed a few tears off his cheeks, before putting his arms around Bobbi and Hunter.

Simmons sighed heavily, looking stressed but pleased, before moving on to revive Chloe. As Simmons tried to rouse her, Bobbi rose and walked over to where the rest of the team was watching. "Thank you for coming," she said gratefully.

"Of course," Coulson replied. "None of us would abandon one of their own." He shot a meaningful look at May, who gave a tiny shake of her head, indicating that this wasn't the time. He sighed with impatience, but turning back to Bobbi, asked "Mack said you mentioned something about Ward…what happened? Did he cause this?"

Bobbi opened her mouth to reply, but a soft voice, almost like a purr of a cat...or a tiger responded: "No…I did."
