Invasion Series Part 2
"Gohan your dad is up to something," Shin said from the crystal ball as Gohan began to power up. Gohan broke his focus and flew over to the ball to watch his father leave the battle and take a power up stance.
"Maybe King Kai might know what he's trying to do," Gohan guessed.
"Kibito," Shin ordered. The giant Kai phased out and reappeared two seconds later with the shorter Kai who was visibly protesting his abduction.
"People have no respect for their elders and mentors these days! Do you know who I am? Where am I?" The confused Kai ranted.
"North Kai if you are done we need to know what Goku is up to right now," Shin said pointing to the crystal ball. King Kai regained his composure as he walked over to the ball and his face went in shock.
"Oh no," he whispered before yelling, "You moron! What are you doing?! You're going to lose it all over again! For the third time!"
"What's he doing? What do you mean lose it all?" Gohan asked panicked.
"He's going to ascend to Super Saiyan three in a living body," King Kai snorted.
"There's a third level?" Shin asked in awe.
"Indeed, Goku mastered in in his dead body when his energy supply was practically unlimited. Although the third form is the most powerful of all the forms, it takes a lot of energy to reach that point and it also taxes the user's energy incredibly fast. In a living body I give him fifteen minutes before he dies of exhaustion," King Kai concluded.
"But that should be more than enough time to defeat Iced, right?" Gohan asked.
"I'm afraid not. If Iced transforms again, which he probably will due to Vegeta and the boys, then he'll be on par with Goku. At that point he just has to wait him out."
"Damn! I need to start powering up so I can stop him!" Gohan yelled as he put some distance between him and the Kai's. 'I won't let him die from my ignorance twice.'

Goku's Ki started to rapidly rise as he transformed into a super Saiyan, and then into the next level. His silent growls became painful yells as he tried to push his living body past the Super Saiyan two barrier and into the power of the Super Saiyan three. Power started to pulse from his body as the whole planet seemed to shake. The whole battle seemed to stop and watch Goku's transformation. Loose rocks on top of mountains collapsed and shattered as they hit the ground. Portions of the ground beneath the massive battle started to fracture and collapse. The Saiyans took this confusion to their advantage and started to gain the upper hand on their opponents. Goku's brow line became more defined and his hairline seemed to recede as his hair grew down to his waist. His yells started to calm down as the transformation became complete. A silent air of calmness and seriousness surrounded him as well as the golden aurora that cloaked him and the electricity that danced around him. The planet seemed to have calmed down as well and the battle shortly resumed.

"So that's a Super Saiyan Three," Shin noted in awe.
"You should've seen the first time he got there, it was amazing," King Kai added.
"Gohan your father made it to three! Are you ready yet?!" Shin yelled out.
"Not yet! Almost powered fully in base!" Gohan yelled back.
"If you look closely, he clearly isn't finished. Is there another level above three?" Old Kai asked.
"No there isn't, not that I know of. Not unless he's planning to do what I think he's going to do, in which case I hope he isn't," King Kai said nervously, "I need to try to talk him out of this or he'll kill himself for sure."
"What's he going to do?" Kibito asked.
"Something that hasn't ever been done before…" King Kai answered.

Iced was fighting off Vegeta and those Saiyan brats. He was in his second form still and was simply toying with them. That was until he noticed Goku transforming in which he started to transform again and sent the Saiyans trying to fight him away with a power energy wave. Goku noticed the ice-jin heading his way and started to mutter that words, "Kaio-ken."
The yellow flame surrounding Goku immediately turned into an orange hue. The blue electricity turned yellow and large chunks of earth lifted from the ground and seemingly vaporized in the air as well as the ground below him instantly vaporized too. Goku then at the top of his lungs yelled, "Times 80!"
The orange flame grew over twice in size around his body and the irises in his eyes faded away. The ground completely collapsed beneath Goku and all that could be heard was his pained yells as he took off towards Iced.

"That should be the last ship," Bade told Cole as he started to fly away from the ship's exterior engines.
"Excellent, let's wait until they start to get pushed back into the ships before we blow them. For now we need a good vantage point," Cole said looking around. "Up there," he said pointing on top of some mountains. The two flew up and caught a view of the battle beneath them. It seemed that there were twice as many Saiyans left as there were invaders Energy blasts could been seen all over the battlefield as well as corpses that seemed to fly in the air with each blast that hit the ground.
"That's Seroro, isn't it?" Bade said pointing out the short bald Saiyan fighting his way through masses of enemy soldiers.
"Sure is, look at him go," Cole said with a laugh still gripping his left arm. Anywhere there seemed to be a cluster of enemy soldiers was where Seroro headed. His red armor hid any blood that may have splattered on him during battle. Although it was most likely his enemies, no one put it past Seroro to fight through a grave injury. A couple larger soldiers tried to attack Seroro but to no avail, even Bade and Cole could see the smaller fighter launch the brutes into midair before kicking them back down to the ground, they didn't get back up.
"Remind me not to get on his bad side," Cole joked.
"Same here, how's that arm holding out?" Bade asked.
"I don't know, you're the smart one here."
"Let me look at it. I hate to brake it to you, but this looks really bad. I can cover it for now but after that try to let the wound heal and make sure it doesn't open back up, ok?" Bade said pulling some medical supplies from his belt. Cole flinched a little as Bade applied medicine to the wound but handled it well.
"Hey, I think that they've noticed that the guy in charge isn't around anymore," Cole said with a chuckle. The enemy soldiers seemed like they were falling back to their ships. The Saiyans were slowly closing the perimeter as the enemies numbers kept dropping. And soon the invaders were practically sprinting to their ships and the Saiyans were picking off stragglers and those who were too slow to make it.
"The honors are yours," Cole said with a bow.
"Why thank you," Bade said pulling the trigger from his belt.
"3…2…1…Goodnight," Bade counted down and pressed the trigger. The engines in all the ships simultaneously exploded and the ships in midair came crashing back down to the ground.
The Saiyans closed their perimeter even more and were focusing on destroying the ships and the remaining enemy soldiers. After a couple minutes the enemy was completely eliminated and the Saiyans started to celebrate.

"GOKU NO!" King Kai yelled at the top of his lungs, "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"
"You taught him the Kaio-ken?" Kibito asked angrily.
"Of course I did, it was his go to technique before he mastered the Super Saiyan transformation."
"It doesn't matter what techniques Goku knows, what matters now is what are the consequences of this?" Shin asked.
"He cut his time down from fifteen minutes down to three before his body is consumed and he dies."
"Gohan hurry up! Your dad just used the Kaio-Ken, he only has three minutes!" Shin yelled at the young Saiyan powering up still.
"Just powered up the first form, almost ready!" Gohan yelled back.
"He'll pass out before the form can kill him. When that happens, we need Kibito to pick him up and heal him, understand?" Old Kai said pointing at the taller Kai who simply nodded.
"How can you tell?" Shin asked.
"It comes with experience, but mainly just look at him. He's hardly powered up to the third level and he's already sweating. The Kaio-ken will tire him out before he dies. Now shut up so I can watch this, this is getting interesting," Old Kai said refocusing on the crystal ball.

"What the hell is happening?!" Iced yelled as the orange flame came charging at him. All that answered him was the pained scream of Goku as he landed a powerful punch into the ice-Jin's elongated head. He then phased out and smacked Iced down to the earth from above with his fist clenched together. He then followed up by kicking the black ice-Jin down farther into the Earth. Goku then unleashed a fury of punches onto ice-Jin who was in shock from the sheer pain that was rocking through his body. The ice-Jin's head then started to shrink along with his body as he seemed to become more compact and resembling an all-black Frieza with blue eyes.
"Damn he's transforming again," Vegeta said, "Boys, try to get ahold of his Ki if we can keep it from rising then we may be able to keep him from transforming again."
Goten and Trucks nodded at Vegeta and they came closer to the battle and started to feel for Iced's Ki. They then proceeded to halt his energy from rising any higher.
'Why the hell can't I transform anymore? I can't access the fifth transformation, and I'm going to need it if I have any hope of defeating this damn monkey!' Iced thought frantically. Goku kept hammering the almost defenseless ice-Jin with punches and kicks to all of his critical areas. Then suddenly the orange flame around Goku disappeared as he reverted to his base form and collapsed on the ground next to Iced.
"Well, someone got tuckered out," Iced said with a chuckle as he wiped the purple blood off of his face. He then looked up to see Vegeta and the two kids with their arms stretched towards him.
"So you three parasites are the reason I can't transform, you're trying to leech my energy," Iced noted. "We'll have to change that," he said with a smirk, "If you won't fight me I'm sure someone else will!" He yelled flying towards Videl.
"Videl watch out!" Goten yelled as they chased after him. Videl turned to see Iced charging her and a look of panic and fear took her face the closer he got. She stood frozen like a deer in headlights. Seconds before Iced could grab Videl, Piccolo swooped down and snatched her, saving her life.
"Piccolo, I don't know how I could thank you for this," Videl said just coming back to her senses.
"There's a lesson in this, pay more attention to your surroundings," Piccolo said solemnly as he set her down on the ground.
"It won't happen again."
"Better be fast enough to dodge should he come after you again," Piccolo said. Videl nodded and went back into the battle. Vegeta's scouter then went off, "Sir, Pikuro here to report our victory on the second staging area."
"Excellent, bring all remaining soldiers over to our staging area, form a second perimeter around it to keep any stranglers from escaping. How did my mission go?"
"I saw them sneak onto a ship, but they managed to somehow blow the engines on all of the ships instead of the one. We were able to completely decimate the enemy's forces."
"Even better than I expected, those two work well together," Vegeta thought out loud.
"We'll have our perimeter set up in 20 minutes."
"Good, let me know when you are all in position," Vegeta ordered before hearing the traditional "yes sir," from Pikuro.
'I'll have to talk to Tarble after this is all said and done about our next move,' Vegeta thought still focusing on Iced's energy.
…
"Gohan your dad is down! Are you ready?!" Shin yelled.
"Yes take me back!" Gohan yelled flying back over to meet Kibito. Blue electricity sparked and danced around his body. Kibito flew over and the next thing Gohan knew he was back on Earth and flying towards Iced not realizing that Videl was just saved from danger.
"You're with me," Kibito said picking up Goku and going back to the Kai world. Gohan then went flying over to where Videl and Piccolo stood. He then noticed how Iced transformed twice since he left.
"You're kidding me, the point of me leaving was to power up without him sensing me!" Gohan exclaimed.
"He transformed while fighting your father, it's the only reason the demon is still alive now," Piccolo explained.
"We're still at a stalemate in terms of power," Gohan thought out loud staring down the all black ice-Jin.
'Shin, how much longer until my dad is fully healed, right now there's no way I can beat Iced on my own,' Gohan said calling out to the supreme Kai.
'Kibito says another ten minutes, you have to make due on your own.'
"Wonderful," Gohan cursed out loud.
"I thought I killed you," Iced said making his way over to Gohan.
"My family gets that a lot," Gohan said back to his adversary.
…
"You moron if you hadn't used the Kaio-Ken and just held Iced off for a couple minutes Gohan would've been back over at full power and then you could've all attacked together," King Kai scolded.
"I thought Iced killed him, I couldn't sense him at all," Goku said sitting up a little, just regaining his consciousness.
"No he got brought here to power up without Iced knowing so he wouldn't transform. But then you decided to take over and now look what happened!" King Kai yelled pointing at the crystal ball.
"King Kai, what do you think I would do in that situation? I wasn't going to sit there and let him wreak havoc on the battlefield."
"No but you should've thought more before doing something that takes you out of the battle like that," King Kai lectured with his arms crossed.
Goku sighed before conceding to King Kai about his mistake. He then turned his attention back to the crystal ball which was focused on Gohan. He then smiled, filled with fatherly pride and said, "His Super Saiyan 2 is stronger than my 3, it truly is amazing."
"If you think that's amazing then you will be blown away once the rest of his power is finally accessible to him," Old Kai chimed in.
Goku looked over to the elder before asking, "What do you mean? I thought his power was already unlocked."
"No, it's his human side. It amplifies the power from his Saiyan side, however it also has it's downsides. It is heavily locked and only he can unlock it. I tried and failed to unlock it."
"I'm sure he'll do it, I'm positive," Goku said watching the crystal ball.
…
Piccolo leaned over to Gohan and said, "Our only hope of beating him is waiting until your father comes back is if we take him together."
"You got it, are you ready?" Gohan answered back before turning to Videl and saying, "I need you to get back from this, it's going to get real dangerous real soon, got it?"
She nodded and said, "kick his ass," before flying off.
'Frast, can you hear me?' Iced thought to his subordinate.
'Odd I can hear him in my thoughts now,' she thought as she blasted Saiyans away.
'You dumbass it's me, I have an order for you.'
'What is it?'
'Gohan's mate Videl is leaving our battle, find her and bring her to me now.'
'Yes sire,' Frast thought taking off. Now not even her thoughts were safe from Iced's probing mind. She took off searching for her target.
Meanwhile, Piccolo and Gohan took the initiative and charged at Iced. Piccolo used super speed to phase behind him and attack while Gohan still charged the front.
'Gohan you and him are evenly matched, keep him busy and I'll try and attack him from the side while he's distracted,' Piccolo thought back off to the side.
'You got it,' Gohan thought back. He then started to engage Iced in hand to hand combat. Just like before, the two were evenly matched. Their stalemate started to pick up however and they started phasing around different parts of the battlefield. Both interrupting fights between Saiyans and defenders as well as starting them.
'How the hell am I supposed to surprise Iced when Gohan keeps taking him around the whole damn battlefield,' Piccolo though trying to keep up with the two immensely strong fighters, 'Yet somehow Vegeta, Trunks, and Goten have no problem keeping up with them and keeping Iced from transforming.'
'Hey Gohan, this is King Kai. Goku just wanted me to pass the message that he'll be back on Earth in about seven minutes. This feels odd doing this with you instead of him, whatever good luck we're all watching and rooting for you' King Kai told Gohan as he kept fighting. The majority of his focus was spent on making sure he didn't leave an opening for Iced to attack.
During which Videl kept focusing on her task at hand all the while making sure she didn't get blindsided like she would've last time. Just as she planted her boot in some poor soldier's face she managed to dodge Frast as she came for her.
"You're mine," Frast hissed at Videl.
"Yikes, I'm taken no thanks," Videl said trying to fly off only to be cut off by Frast.
"If you think you're so strong, why leave?' the ice-Jin taunted.
Videl fell for the taunt and became frustrated and tried to attack Frast, but to no avail. She dodged every one of Videl's punches and kicks.
'That's right, tire yourself out, makes my job easier,' Frast thought as Videl started to slow down.
'This isn't going my way, I need to leave fast,' Videl thought looking for an opening to leave fast. That opening was granted whenever their little scuffle intercepted one between some Saiyans and enemy soldiers. Videl grabbed one of the enemy soldiers and threw him at Frast before trying to escape.
Frast blasted the solder to bits before he even came closer to hitting her. She then took after the fleeing Earthling before she could cover too much ground.
"Time to end this," Frast yelled as she Grabbed Videl and started to take her back to Iced.
…
"Frast has Videl," Shin pointed out as they watching Videl try to struggle out of Frast's tight grip.
"How much longer until I'm ready Kibito?" Goku asked.
"Another five minutes at least," Kibito answered solemnly as he continued to heal the Saiyan.
"Damn it!" Goku yelled before gripping his side.
"Calm down, does is cheer you up at all that Bade and Cole completed their mission with flying colors?" King Kai asked.
"What do you mean by flying colors?"
"They managed to sabotage the entire enemy fleet on their side of the planet before they could retreat and regroup," King Kai explained.
"Excellent, I'm sure Vegeta is more than pleased with their results."
"You have no clue," King Kai said with a chuckle turning his attention back to the crystal ball.
…
"Why are we heading to the other landing zone?" Bade asked.
"Because the other Saiyan's are going so it's obvious that they'll need our help," Cole explained.
"Yeah but if Frast see's my she'll kill me on the spot for being a traitor."
"Better than running and being a coward," Cole said.
"I guess you're right, we should get there before the rest of the Saiyan's shouldn't we?"
"I think so, but let's go a bit faster anyway," Cole said speeding up.
…
"Stalemate again," Iced announced through his punches being blocked and exchanged with Gohan.
"It seems that way, don't worry though this'll change soon enough," Gohan threatened.
"You'd like me to believe that don't you?" Iced said in his low voice with a grin.
"Just wait and see," Gohan growled.
"Well you're right about one thing, things are certainly going to change soon. Starting with that," Iced said pointing to Frast carrying an unconscious Videl. Gohan immediately stopped fighting his adversary and flew straight for Frast. Iced grinned as he started to form an energy ball in his hand. Just before Gohan could reach Frast, Iced yelled, "GALAXY CRUSHER."
He then shot a powerful beam out of his hand that overtook both Frast and Videl. Where there once stood the two females, there was nothing but empty space. Gohan felt something inside him snap and he was immediately filled with rage as he turned back to Iced who just stood there laughing a slow chuckle.
…
"Videl, no!" Goku yelled sitting up from where he was laying.
"Hey youngster go pick Videl up from the check-in station and bring her back here," Old Kai ordered. Shin nodded and then disappeared. He reappeared with Videl next to him while he held her shoulder.
"Wait, where am I? The last thing I remember is being caught by Frast and then she knocked me out." Videl asked frantically while observing her surroundings. Oddly enough Goku was there too," What are you doing here, Goku? And how come you aren't back at the battle?"
"I was spent completely after turning Super Saiyan three and then using the Kaio-Ken. That wasn't very smart," Goku said chuckling and rubbing the back of his head.
"Well that still doesn't account for me, where am I?"
"Well I guess let me be the first to tell you but, you're dead," Goku said trying to make the news a little more bearable for the girl.
"Then this is the afterlife?"
"No this is the sacred world of the Kai's where you are a visitor for as long as we have you, then we'll send you to the over world to live," Old Kai explained, "Just trust us for now, everything will work out well in the future, trust me."

And I'm done for the night, here's another chapter. I'm going to try and be more constant with my updates. Already have a huge plot set out soon with an all new enemy. Anyway please R&R.
