Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic week! This story is starting to wind down now unfortunately :( I think it will only go for another three chapters maybe, and because of that I need your help! What kind of story would you like to see me write next? Let me know in your reviews! Here is the next chapter! See you at the bottom :)

I could not tell you how long we were in that cave. It could have been hours, or maybe even days, but Robin and I quickly lost track of time. I held on to him tightly, knowing that the day of war was soon to be upon us. There was nothing I knew of to do except sit and wait. As Robin and I were discussing what might happen, foot steps were heard outside of the cave. My clenched tighter around Robin's, I could feel my stomach start to drop as the steps got closer and closer to us.

"Get up you two." A voice said from outside of the cave. We stood up and slowly walked towards the entrance to see who it was. The figure made itself known as Cody, now looking quite dingy and tired. He had no emotion on his face, instead he opened the door to the cave and grabbed me by the arm, then motioning to Robin for him to follow. He was much less worried about Robin than he was me, I guess he knew Robin wouldn't leave unless I was with him. Cody pulled me along and into another cave. Soon, I could see the light at the end, and it looked very familiar.

"Maria!" A group of voices yelled. I was back at the place where it all began. Where the curse was enacted, broken, and now my powers were about to be drained. Loveday, Uncle Benjamin, and Mr. De Noir were tied up along the left wall from the main entrance.

"If we want to do this right, we have to start where it all began." The wicked woman said as she appeared from a fog in front of me. I had no way to escape. Even if I did, I knew she would always come to find me, and none of this would stop for good. I had to find some way to defeat her once and for all, and that way no one could be hurt by her again. Cody let go of my arm and she took my hand, leading me to the middle of the theatre.

"Do you know what these are?" She asked as she pulled out a necklace and showed it to me.

"The moon pearls? How on earth did you get them?" I asked her as I examined them. They had been picked up one by one off of the sea floor and strung back into a necklace.

"Lets just say I sent someone fishing." She said with a devious smile. Vera came up to Robin and pulled him backwards, tieing him up with the rest of my family as well. Now, everything was up to me.

"Since you have been so curious as of what I have been up to lately, I think it is time I fill you in. I am not completely powerless Maria, I too have my own source of power, but it is very weak. See this glowing gem on my sleeve? These mean as much to me as your precious pears do to you. You hardly use your powers anyway, so I thought to myself...why don't I just take it off of your hands and everything will be fine. There is one problem though, by taking your powers, it does mean you will die. Did I forget to mention that little detail to you before? Oops. Oh well." She said.

"You will never get away with this." I said. Cheesy, but isn't that what all heroes are suppose to say to the villain?

"Life isn't fair sweetheart, and it looks you have definitely gotten the bad end of it." She said. "Now all I have to do is put on these pearls, and when you die, your power will be transferred to me through them. How beautiful. They suit me wonderfully." She said as she put them around her neck. I looked over at my family. Loveday was crying softly, while Uncle Benjamin and Mr. De Noir wanted to go ahead and kill her right then. Robin was trying to break free of the rope, and not succeeding so far.

"Now then, tie her up to the poll my children." She said to Vera and Cody. They dragged me over to a tall wooden poll and tied my hands behind it. I was facing directly towards my friends and family, and my eyes immediately went to Robin. He had no emotion on his face, but he would not take his eyes off of me. Cody came in front of me to look at me, and then set the logs around me on fire. Was this really the end? My family just sitting there watching me about to be burnt and dead? This could not be the way the story is suppose to end. All of a sudden Robin threw off his ropes and ran towards me. The pocket knife! They didn't even think to take it from him! He plunged towards me with the knife, and quickly cut my ropes before Cody and Vera could realize and get to him. It took both of them to keep him down, which left me free. The evil witch turned around to face me with dilated eyes. I concentrated, and then found a bright golden force field surrounding me. I walked up to her and let the field down.

"This ends now." I told her.

"So you want to play with magic? My dear, you have no idea what you are getting yourself into." She said with an evil laugh. She lifted her hands up in the air, and a strike of lightning shot through the sky. Her power was indeed weak, but it was enough to take me out if needed. I wasn't familiar with my own power, so I had no clue what did what. A ball of fire shot out of her hands towards me, and it barely got the edge of my dress. I put out the spark and looked back up at her. Now they were constantly coming at me. I had to get that gem out of her sleeve. Maybe if I destroyed the gem I could destroy her, but I had to do one more thing first.

"Wait!" I yelled. The fire ceased, but she was still on alert against me.

"You want my powers? Fine. You can have them along with me. Let me transfer the power first, and then lets see you kill me." I said. She looked into my eyes, trying to see if I was lying, but I was very good at covering them up. I opened my hand, and she gave me the pearls, knowing there was no danger with me just holding them. As far as she knew, they were indestructible, and as far as I knew, they were. I put the pearls around my neck, and pretended to be casting some kind of spell.

"You know what? I don't need these powers, and neither do you! I pulled off the pearls and threw them on the ground. Turns out, they were really fragile, and broke into tiny pieces easily. I started to get a glowing tint around me that was slowly running out. I was feeling weaker by the minute. It would soon be the end of me, but I had to make sure it was the end of her first. In her state of shock, I ran over to her and ripped the gem out of her sleeve, smashing it as well. A glow came around her as well, and she was lifted into the air, where she was screaming for her life. In glittering green, she vanished, and the air was left with fog.

"We're free!" Vera and Cody yelled. They let go of Robin, who came immediately over to me.

"What do you mean free?" Loveday asked as they started to untie everyone.

"We were under a spell, for years. She put a spell on us with the last bit of strong magic she had before she sent us away. The magic was to ensure that we would do whatever she wanted us to." Vera explained. I heard very little of the conversation, because I was already on the ground feeling weakened.

"Come on, Maria. Stay with me here. Hang in there." Robin kept repeating. Everyone ran over to me after being untied, but I didn't get to see any of their faces before I blacked out. My magic was gone, the pearls were destroyed, and there would never be any controversy over it ever again. Now, all I could do was hope that I would wake up soon.

So, the evil is gone, but so is Maria for right now. Can her family wake her up before it is too late? I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Remember to R and R and follow/favorite! Plus, remember to comment about what kinds of stories you would like to see next! :)
