Chapter 22: Envy ~Best Among Them~
After that embarrassing event at the entrance, we all went to our designated classrooms. By habit, I accidentally entered our classroom, forgetting the fact that I was still in Rito's body. Everyone in the classroom stared at me, wondering why I was there:
"W-why is there a senior here?"
"Is he lost?"
"Hey, isn't he the guy who's always with Lala-senpai?"
Realizing that I was in the wrong classroom, I left the room and went to Rito's classroom. When I arrived, a spiky-black-haired guy welcomed me.
"Yo, Rito!" he said, "So how was your weekend?"
"Well... umm..."
I didn't know how to respond. The guy was a stranger to me, but I reckon he was Rito's friend or something.
"You probably had fun..." he added, "I mean, you live with Lala and the twins! You probably had a great time!"
What was he talking about? If only he knew what really happens at Rito's house...
"Y-you're disturbing me..."
"Eh?" he responded, "Rito, since when did you become so cold...?"
"Ah! I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean it!"
"Rito's apologizing?" he replied, "I've never seen that side of you before! Are you still the same guy?!"
Because he wouldn't stop asking, I decided to tell him the truth.
"You switched bodies?!" he exclaimed.
"K-keep your voice down...!"
Then while we were talking, some girls approached us. One was Haruna-senpai, the other was the maid from before, and another was a girl with curly hair.
"Hey guys!" they said, "So, what were you two talking about?"
"N-nothing! Just guy stuff!" the guy replied.
"Oh, really?" the girl with curly hair asked, "You're talking about perverted stuff, aren't you? If you are, then I want in!"
When I heard her say that, I suddenly scolded them.
"W-weren't talking about indecent things! Nobody likes to talk about indecent things! We're in public! And still you want to talk about indecent things?! That's indecent!"
The class suddenly got quiet. Everybody stared at me like I had committed a crime.
"R-Rito..." she responded, "Why are you acting like Yui?"
"I-I'm not acting like Yui-senpai!"
"Did you just call Yui your senpai?" she asked.
I didn't know what to answer, so I just left the classroom, even though class was about to start. I walked around the campus and saw Yui-senpai. I called out to her and run towards her with open arms.
"Yui-senpaaaaaai!"
Apparently, she still had not forgotten what happened earlier. She hit me on the head and said, "D-don't you dare rush up to me like that, Rito!"
I was lying on the floor, asking for her help.
"Help... Me... Yui... senpai..."
"Eh? S-senpai?!" she responded.
She gave me a chance to explain, so I told her everything.
"S-switched bodies?!' she reacted.
"S-so... can you hep me?"
"Well... I don't think I can do anything about that..." she replied, "...but I'll do my best."
"Thank you senpai!"
I was lucky to have known Yui-senpai. If it weren't for her, I'd probably still be a big loser...
Then as we were talking, Haruna-senpai called for me (Rito).
"Rito! There you are!" she said.
She approached us and told me to get back to class.
"Honekawa-sensei is calling you back to the classroom." She said.
"O-okay, let's go."
We asked Yui-senpai if she would go to class with us, but she said that she still had student council stuff to take care of.
"I-I see... See you later, sen- err... Kotegawa-san!"
Haruna-senpai and I headed for the classroom. We had a little conversation along the way.
"Say, Haru- I mean, Sairenji-san, are you interested in someone?"
"Ehh?!" she replied while blushing, "W-why do you ask?"
"No reason. I just wanted to know."
"I-I see..." she replied.
"So... is there?"
"Well... Yes, there is..." she replied while blushing even more.
"Really? Who is it-"
She suddenly cut me off when we arrived at the classroom. "-Here we are!", she said.
When we got there, Honekawa-sensei asked us to take our seat, so we did. We had class as usual, except the subject was trigonometry. Fortunately, I studied it beforehand and was able to recite. Everybody stared at me when I told the teacher the answer. I could even hear murmurs:
"Rito is reciting?"
"How does he know the answer?"
"I didn't know he was in our class. He's cute."
I got more attention when I clearly had to stay silent. Since then, everybody has been talking about Rito. Guess I did him a favor...
After classes, Rito's friends approached me and praised me for reciting in the classroom. Really, it wasn't a big deal, but whatever. Then suddenly, a girl with bright green hair entered the classroom and hugged me.
"Rito! I missed you!" she said.
I was in yet another awkward situation.
The girl continued, "Did you miss me?".
I didn't even know who she was, so how was I supposed to know if I missed her? But I didn't want to leave her hanging, so I just said yes.
"Yay! Rito missed me!" she shouted as she hugged me even tighter, with her breasts pressing on my chest. In a way, she kinda reminded me of Lala.
Then Lala hugged me from behind and asked if we could get lunch together. But when she did, the green-haired girl hugged me even tighter. Then Lala also hugged me tighter.
"Back off, Lala! She's mine!" the green-haired girl said to lala.
"Eh?! He's MY Rito!" Lala replied.
"...C-can't... b-breathe..."
They kept hugging, and hugging, I got sandwiched between them. I couldn't breathe and then I slowly lost consciousness.
The next thing I knew, I was lying down on a clinic bed at the school infirmary. Seated on the right side of the bed was Oshizu.
"Rito-san, you're awake!" she said.
"W-what happened...?"
"You went unconscious while Run-san and Lala-san were hugging you." She answered.
"Oh yeah... I remember now..."
"Are you feeling any better?" she asked.
"Y-yeah... thanks..."
Now that I think about it, that was the only time that Oshizu and I had a normal conversation. Of course, she wouldn't know because she still didn't didn't know that Rito and I switched bodies.
Then she held on my cheeks and asked, "Are you sure you're alright?"
My face suddenly turned red and my heart started beating fast. Out of embarrassment, I ran outside and went to the rooftop, where nobody would see me and did some deep thinking while watching the sunset.
Wow... I never knew Rito had it this hard, but still... He's so lucky to have so many friends... Almost all the girls have feelings for him... even Momo...
At that time, I had lost faith in myself, thinking:
Maybe I should become Rito... There's nothing good about being Yume anyway...
Then while I was thinking of these things, Mea showed up and asked if I was okay.
"I'm fine... Nothing's wrong..."
She moved closer, and closer, then I felt something touch the back of my neck. I could feel my emotions resonate with hers.
"You're lying again, Yume-san!" she said.
"H-how did you know-!"
"Psycho-dive!" she answered, "But I've always known you were Yume-san!"
"But how?!"
"I've known you for a while now." She answered, "Your reactions are much cuter than Rito-san's!"
Instead of getting angry at her, I thanked her.
"Thank you..."
"For what?" she responded.
"For knowing who I really am..."
"It's not a big deal..." she replied.
"...But, this morning, you grabbed Rito's arm..."
"I was only making you jealous." She said.
"What? Why?"
"Because you broke the rules." She replied, "You said that we shouldn't leave each other."
"Yeah, I'm sorry..."
"An apology isn't enough." she said, "As punishment..."
She raised her skirt and unbottoned her top.
"... I want you to lick my whole body..." she said.
My faced turned red. I turned the other way to avoid looking at her half-naked body.
"T-there's no way I'm doing that!"
"Come on!" she said, "It's fine if you do it in Rito's body!"
"N-no way!"
"Aww... come on!" she replied, "At least lick this spot!"
"There's no way I'm licking that spot!"
Eventually, she gave up on that and left it as it was. I went home together with Lala and the others... But the day wasn't over yet...
"Hey Yume, what would it take for you to lick me?"
"N-nothing! Stop asking weird questions!"
"What if I was covered in frosting? Would you lick me then?"
"N-no way!"
"Then what if I was covered in honey?"
"Still no!"
"How about if I was wet with-"
"There's no way I'm licking your body, period!"

"Especially not naked! Wait, you're not naked in the others?"
