Chapter 25: Road Race Rage
In memory of Doug Lennox (January 21, 1938 - November 28, 2015)
At the Castle of Ultimate Dai-Shocker, Motor Ed stood with Miranda, Joey Wilson, Gatlocke and the Wrecking Crew as Vilgax, Psyphon and Will Harangue were talking with Ronin and Grant Ward.
"Look at that guy," Joey said. "It looks like the Kraken combined with Cthulhu, and his lackey. He looks like a shark combined with a giant broadsword."
"I don't trust them," Miranda said. "I know we're supposed to be finding allies to help us take down Ben Tennyson and his Alliance, but siding with giant aliens? This isn't what Ultimate Dai-Shocker was meant for."
"It's always Ultimate Dai-Shocker this, Ultimate Dai-Shocker that, seriously," Motor Ed said. "We haven't had one single stinkin' success ever since we joined! Seriously!"
"Um, Ed?" Kat asked as she looked to Motor Ed. "I don't think you'd want to be saying that kind of stuff in front of Ronin."
"Well, he knows it too, seriously," Motor Ed said before walking away. "I'm tired of always doing nothing! We never get to have excitement around here anymore. Seriously!"
"And where are you going?" Sunil Bakshi asked.
"I don't know," Motor Ed replied. "But, Dude. If I have to go another couple of months without any new progress in Ultimate Dai-Shocker, I'm gonna start a riot! Seriously!" he exclaimed before taking off towards the garage.
In the garage, Motor Ed found his bike. He roughly pushed aside Ding Dong Daddy and went for his bike and started it up. After revving it a couple of times, he drove off.
"Should we tell him?" Kat whispered to Miranda.
"Hey, you're the Apprentice of a member of the Ultimate Dai-Shocker Elite Guard," Miranda said. "And as a member of the Ultimate Dai-Shocker Elite Guard myself, I say that you should tell them."
"How do I put it to them?!" Kat exclaimed.
"Do you mind?" Will Harangue asked as he, Vilgax, Psyphon, Ronin and Grant Ward came over. "We're trying to work out a strategy."
Kat nodded and bowed. "My apologies," she said. "It won't happen again."
"See to it that it doesn't," Ronin said. "We need to move on with our plans if we're to be one step ahead of the game."
Kat nodded once again and walked away. Miranda just facepalmed herself, not believing that Kat did not do what she was supposed to do.
In Bellwood, Emily was looking over a current battle between Ben Tennyson and the Bounty Hunter, Sunder, in front of the Ship-It Delivery Station.
"Alright, Sunder," Ben said as he locked his RideSaber with Sunder's Axe. "I know you are always hired for a job for a price. Who hired you? What are you after?"
"Let's say that someone very special has hired me because of a very large price on your head," Sunder replied. "They want your armor, they want you dead, and they want the job to be done!"
"Tell Vilgax that he's wasting his time," Ben spat as he slashed Sunder away. "He may be with Ultimate Dai-Shocker now, but I'm not going to surrender to him!"
"Not until I get what I came for!" Sunder exclaimed as he flew towards Ben.
Ben took out a Card and opened up the Decadriver, slotting his Card in.
ATTACK RIDE: BLAST!
Ben placed his RideSaber into Mega Blaster Mode and shot a large blast at Sunder, throwing him into a wall of the building.
"Leave… now." Ben ordered calmly.
Sunder growled as he slowly got up. "You may have won this round, Tennyson," he said as he used his axe to support him. "But Vilgax… he's far from done with you." He spat.
Ben opened up the Decadriver and narrowed his eyes at Sunder. Within moments, Sunder pressed a button on his gauntlet, and he was now nowhere in sight.
"Looks like Vilgax has officially joined Ultimate Dai-Shocker," Emily reported. "What will happen next? Keep in touch with me, and follow us on Twitter," she said. "This is Emily Griffin, signing off. Keep posted, and keep up the hope."
Ben smiled at what Emily was doing before he mounted the Machine Decader. He soon took off back to his House, with Emily and her cameraman still watching over him.
As Ben rode back to his House, he remembered what had recently happened. Upon returning to Bellwood, he and his Alliance worked to stop his enemies. ShadowMoon had returned for revenge, and a Ronin, from the World of Kim Possible and Kamen Rider Genki, was still alive. He also remembered meeting the Secret Saturdays, getting Charmcaster onto his side, and even meeting the Tai Chi Chasers. Even still, he could not help but think about how Vilgax had returned. Because Ben underestimated him the last time, he was now more determined than ever to take him down with everything he had.
Back at Ben's House, Kevin was working on forging new weapons. He looked to a new sword he had built after it had just been completed, but something was telling Kevin that it needed more work. Kevin shrugged and placed the sword back down onto the work table, forming a hammer from his hand and slamming down onto it once again.
All of a sudden, a car pulled up. Kevin looked to the car, seeing that it was a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. In it were SHIELD Director Phil Coulson, who was driving the Car, Leopold Fitz and Daisy Johnson.
"Director." Kevin said as he continued to forge his sword.
"Hello, Kevin," Phil said as he walked up to Kevin. "Is Ben home? I am here personally to discuss some matters with him concerning Vilgax."
At that moment, Ben came in on the Machine Decader. Everyone looked to him as he pulled up just outside of the garage.
"Hello, Director Coulson," Ben said as he nodded to Phil. Phil Coulson nodded back before Ben turned his attention to the others. "Fitz, Skye."
"Actually, just call me Daisy," Daisy said. "It's the name I grew up with."
"Should I be asking why you called yourself 'Skye' after all these years?" Ben asked.
"If you want," Quake replied. "But it's a hell of a very long story."
"By the way, nice ride," Kevin said. "She looks brand-new."
"Her name is Lola," Phil said. "Make sure no one breaks her."
"Oh, okay," Kevin said as he looked to his sword again. He could hardly see his reflection in it. "I like to call my Car 'Gwen' sometimes, but I like to keep that a secret because Gwen is my girlfriend, and she's smart, and pretty, and…" he was about to go on until everyone stopped what they were doing, seeing Gwen with a grin on her face as she stood behind Kevin, her arms crossed. "Standing right behind me, isn't she?"
"Don't let that stop you," Gwen teased as she caressed Kevin on the shoulders. "Keep digging."
"Awkward." Fitz muttered.
Ben whistled for a while before smacking his hands together. "Okay!" he exclaimed. "So, Coulson," he said as he turned his attention back to Phil. "Do you have all of the information I requested?"
"All here, just as you wanted," Fitz said as he pulled up information on his iPad. "But I think it's better if we take this inside."
"Good idea," Ben said as he looked to Gwen as she removed both of her flats and rested her bare feet slightly over the furnace where Kevin was working before teasing him some more by flexing her foot in front of Kevin's face. "I can't take seeing Gwen and Kevin going like this anymore."
"I second that," Daisy said. "Inside, we go."
"So, what do we have?" Ben asked as he, Phil Coulson, Daisy Johnson and Fitz all walked into the House.
"Well, according to the Data we found on Vilgax…" Fitz started out as the door closed behind them.
"You know, I'm beginning to see why you like the garage so much now," Gwen said as she took her feet away from the furnace. She wiggled her toes as she threw her flats behind her. "It's a nice and quiet place to work in."
"And it helps me make new weapons," Kevin said as he held up his sword once more. This time, a round guard was on the sword, making the sword resemble a rapier. "I'm suddenly starting to see a Ladybug design on this."
"That sounds like a good idea," Gwen said as she looked to the sword. "You just need to add in some red with black dots on the guard, get it to spread like wings, and you should be good."
"Yeah," Kevin said as he placed his hand to his head, pinching his upper nose a bit. "But I feel like I'm seeing double here. I'd better get some rest, try to get my mind off of forging weapons for a bit."
"Come on, Kevin Smith," Gwen joked as she patted Kevin on the shoulder. "What you need is some of the Possible Family Cooking."
"Good," Kevin said as Yang came out of the door. "Anything but Leo's spicy stuff or what Summer makes."
"Been working too much?" Yang asked.
"Something like that," Gwen replied. "You heading out for patrol?"
Yang placed her hand to her chin. "Yeah, something like that too," she replied in the same way. "Tell Kevin to take care. I'll be out for a while, so tell Ruby that I won't be back until later."
"Okay, Yang," Gwen said. "Take care."
Yang nodded as Gwen and Kevin went into the House. As soon as they were gone, she closed her eyes and sighed.
"Okay," Yang said as she went to the Bumblebee. "Now, onto business." She said before driving away.
Yang drove her Bumblebee out of the Tennyson House and into the streets. She fastened her helmet as she focused her eyes and her mind solely on the road.
"Ronin is leading Ultimate Dai-Shocker while Albedo is most likely in a coma," Kim said as Gwen and Kevin came into the house as she stood with Ben, Coulson, Daisy and Fitz. "Skyza told me about his powers. He won't go down easily."
"From what SHIELD can tell, Ronin has attacked several Plumber Outposts with more prisoners," Phil Coulson said as Fitz pulled up a screen of attacked Plumber Outposts. "As far as we can tell, it seems that after Vilgax was freed, he started to target the most powerful and most dangerous Aliens of the Galaxy, all who have knowledge or connections to weaponry, ammunition, base locations and known targets," he went on. "One of them is from a Planet with a red and a blue army."
"That's the Planet of Rozoul," Ben said. "A girl named Probity once asked me to go there and stop a war before I got the Ultimatrix, the true Omnitrix, and even before I met Tsukasa, Kaito or Daiki."
"And… that didn't turn out well," Gwen said. "You succeeded in uniting the two armies, but you destroyed their statue of their leader."
"It's a problem I'm willing to take responsibility for when I leave in the morning tomorrow," Ben said as he looked to Gwen and Kevin. "You know what Probity said in her message to me. I need to set things right," he proclaimed. "And this time… I'm going to be mature and wise about how I do things."
"I'm liking the new you," Julie said as she wrapped her arms around Ben. "But we need to consider how Vilgax will attack next."
"That's why the rest of the Alliance is out looking for answers," Ben said. "Kim only stayed because of her knowledge of Ronin."
"It will take a while, but I think I can get some more information," Fitz said. "I just need some more data."
Kevin placed his hand to his chin. "I'll see what my own contact has on the matter," he said. "But Argit's a tough guy to get information from. I'm gonna have to find a way to pay him good without him knowing that he's gonna be targeted by SHIELD."
"That can be arranged," Ben said. "But even still, we need a way to be able to get an advantage over Ultimate Dai-Shocker," he stated. "And also… to find out who the mysterious Human who is working with Vilgax and Ultimate Dai-Shocker Rai told us about."
It was not long before night fell on Bellwood like a giant's shadow looming over the land. Motor Ed drove his bike through Bellwood, not taking any care to the signs for Road Safety as he drove along. Feeling bored, he turned on the radio.
"As metropolitan PD continues investigation of illegal street-racing real danger remains for both, drivers and pedestrians…" the news reporter on the radio started out.
"Blah, blah, blah," Motor Ed said, turning off the radio. "Motor Ed doesn't care for this stuff. All he wants is fun. Seriously!"
At the same time, Yang was driving up to a road where several other car and motorcycle drivers were gathering. In front of all of the vehicles was a man with what appeared to be an inactive flashlight.
"Okay, so if I make a commotion at a bar, I'll probably get arrested," Yang said to herself. "At least I now have a good reason to take my Bumblebee out onto the road."
All of a sudden, Motor Ed pulled up next to Yang. The two noticed each other and started to inspect each others' rides. The two grinned at the fine workmanship before focusing on the starter. He lit up his flashlight, and upon seeing the signal, everyone set off, Motor Ed leading, shortly followed by Yang.
"Whoo!" Motor Ed exclaimed as he rode along the open road. "This is what I'm talking about! Seriously!"
"Hmm, he's not too bad," Yang noted to herself as she saw Motor Ed race in front of her. "Fortunately… I'm not too bad either!" she exclaimed, revving up faster and taking off after Motor Ed.
Motor Ed laughed as he felt the wind blow through his hair. He threw it back a bit before Yang suddenly passed him. Motor Ed looked on in surprise as Yang drove right past him, eventually making it past the bend.
"Oh, now that just reeks, man!" Motor Ed exclaimed. "Seriously! A babe is not supposed to overpass a dude! Seriously!"
Yang started to laugh as she rode along. She started to drive faster, not knowing that Motor Ed was driving faster right behind her.
Yang drove onto a ramp, riding along it. Motor Ed grinned at the fine driving before he followed Yang onto the ramp, riding after her.
"This guy sure isn't bad," Yang said as she looked to Motor Ed through her rear-view mirror. "Let's see if he can keep up."
Yang drove up another ramp, performing a 360º spin in the air.
"Oh, that is righteous! Seriously!" Motor Ed exclaimed before purposely braking and skidding onto the ramp, spinning around in the air as well.
Yang laughed as she rode on only her back wheel towards the finish line. Motor Ed showboated even more and tilted his bike, scraping some of the asphalt on the side and creating sparks that blinded some of the other drivers behind him and Yang. The other drivers all covered their eyes as Yang and Motor Ed came side by side, coming up to the finish line. At the same time, a flash from a camera went off, taking a photo of both Yang and Motor Ed crossing the finish line, followed by the rest of the racers.
Yang and Motor Ed both cheered as they screeched to a halt on their bikes. The rest of the riders groaned in pain as they saw who had won.
Motor Ed immediately threw down his helmet as Yang slowly removed hers.
"That is one sweet ride, Blondie! Seriously!" Motor Ed exclaimed as he looked to Yang with a grin on his face.
"Yeah, my Bumblebee's one of a kind." Yang bragged as she got off of the Bumblebee and patted it on the front.
"Yeah, they just don't make bikes like that anymore, seriously!" Motor Ed said as he patted his own bike as well. "It's all about road safety, but we have a serious need for speed! Seriously!"
"I kinda see road rules as more like guidelines," Yang said. "They show us the way, but no one actually follows them right."
Motor Ed chuckled. "I like you think, Blondie," he said as he held his hand out to Yang. "Name's Ed."
"I'm Yang," Yang replied, shaking Motor Ed's hand. "Boy, you sure know how to handle a Harley Davidson without getting killed."
"I'm feeling ya," Motor Ed said. "Can't believe how you handled the road back there. I can rip road to shreds, seriously. "But if peeps are gonna be settin' up races like these, then there needs to be some more serious competition!"
"Seriously, right?!" Yang exclaimed. "Aside from you, I hardly felt any other competition in the race."
"You might want to reconsider those words," the starter of the race said as he handed both Yang and Motor Ed posters. "Look here, and you just might change your minds."
Yang and Motor Ed both looked to each other with confusion before looking to the posters.
"Whoa!" Yang exclaimed.
"This is badical!" Motor Ed exclaimed.
"'If you are the lucky winner of the next Street Race, you shall be awarded with the Golden Grace Performers'!" Yang read on her poster.
"Oh, I have got to win these races!" Motor Ed exclaimed. "The GGP can enhance anything from a vehicle to a weapon!"
"And there's eight of them, I can see," Yang said as she looked to the Golden Grace Performers on the poster. Each of them were, as the title said, golden, and shaped like octagon-shaped rings. "I bet we can both win that race for sure!"
"And rules of ties: both winners get half and half," Motor Ed said. "The race is in two days."
"And by the looks of it, we seem to have a lot of competition," Yang noted. She grinned and looked back up to Motor Ed. "So, Ed, you willing to work together with me to get those?"
"You bet I am!" Motor Ed exclaimed before sliding onto the ground on his knees with his hands held as if he were holding a guitar. "AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWW… YYYYEEEAAAHHH!" he yelled, now playing air guitar. He turned back to Yang. "Seriously, yeah." He replied.
"Well, it's getting late," Yang said as she looked to her new watch. She sent a salute to Motor Ed. "See ya, Ed."
"See ya, Blondie, I mean, Yang." Motor Ed said as he and Yang both got onto their respective bikes.
Yang and Motor Ed both soon took off, Yang back to Ben's House and Motor Ed back to the Ultimate Dai-Shocker Castle.
"The Golden Grace Performers must go to us," a man with a rough voice said as the three vehicles that left earlier returned. "I don't know who those two racers are, but no matter what it takes… I want them to be taken out of the competition. All eight of those GGPs must belong to us," he told his two partners as they came up beside him. "Make sure that they don't win the great race. We get the GGPs… one way or another."
At the Ultimate Dai-Shocker Castle, Kat was waiting for Motor Ed to come back with Electronique by her side.
"That Edward…" Kat said as she looked to her nails. "Always trying to find a way around things."
"Is not his problem things are getting tense around here," Electronique said. "With my Master now having returned, and that giant Alien joining us, we all have a right to be suspicious."
Kat scoffed. "Speak for your self, Ronique," she spat. "I have a responsibility to pledge my allegiance only to Ultimate Dai-Shocker, and if I am to become the top right hand to Albedo and Ronin, I must make sure that everyone is doing what they need to be doing in order to make us the strongest and most feared." She stated before Motor Ed suddenly skidded in, knocking dust into Kat and Electronique's faces.
Kat and Electronique both coughed from the dust as Motor Ed got off and slid on the ground, playing air guitar once again.
"Yah, yah, yah, yah, yah-yah!" Motor Ed shredded as he played on the air guitar. He ignored Kat and Electronique as they tried to get the dust out of their systems. "Whoo! Better get ready! In two days, Motor Ed and his girl are gonna shred it! Seriously!" he exclaimed before running back into the castle, knocking aside Miranda and Grant Ward as he did so.
"And they call me crazy," Grant Ward mused as he helped Miranda back up onto her feet. The two made their way downstairs. "What's got Motor Ed so revved up?" he asked Kat and Electronique.
"No idea," Electronique said. "But he's sparked up, I'll give you that."
At Ben's House, Yang just arrived back. She slowly parked her Bumblebee back where it was. She was about to make it back into the house until a fire went up. Taking a defensive stance, Yang prepared to fight, but stopped upon seeing only Kevin forging his sword again.
"How was patrol?" Kevin asked as he placed some red paint onto his guard.
"Oh, you know…" Yang started out.
"No… I don't," Kevin said after covering the entire guard red. He took out a branding iron from black paint. It had spots on it. "Care to explain?"
Yang sighed. "No signs of Ultimate Dai-Shocker around on my patrol," she said. "Only saw a common criminal, beat him up, and then left him for the police to take in," she explained. "And, Kevin… please don't surprise anyone with hellish flames the next time, please."
Kevin sighed. "I've finally made my ladybug-like guard," he pointed out, not taking notice of what Yang was saying. "Besides, Ben said to make sure to file all recon reports to his desk. He'll be leaving for the Planet of Rozoul tomorrow. Gwen and I are gonna go with him to help settle a dispute going on there."
"Got it, Kev," Yang said while sending Kevin a salute as she made her way into the House. "I take it that SHIELD already left?" she asked, not noticing Ruby appearing in front of her.
"They left about three hours ago," Ruby replied, causing Yang to jump and nearly fall back. "You took quite a long patrol back there."
"There were…" Yang started out as she rubbed the back of her neck. "A… lot of common criminals to catch," she said, making up an excuse. "Now, I need some paper so I can file my patrol report on Ben's Desk."
"It's not an official one, just to let you know," Danny said, appearing out of thin air. Once again, Yang jumped in surprise. "It's just the desk he has in his bedroom."
"Is everyone coming out of thin air these days?" Yang asked, brushing some dirt off of her shoulder. "Danny, can you please… excuse me?" she asked. "I need to file my findings."
"Of course," Danny said as Yang walked through him. "And… if you don't want to be taken by surprise anymore… Ben's right behind you."
"I knew that," Yang said as she had her attention focused on Danny. She turned back around and patted Ben on the shoulder, standing on her toes as she did so. "So, anything new? I hear you're making another political meeting tomorrow next morning."
"Just got canceled," Ben said as he walked past Yang. "The Rust Bucket needs some repairs, and the Gokaigers are out on a mission on the other side of the World." He said.
"Well, as long as you're here," Yang started out. "I only caught seven common criminals and handed them in to the Police. I'm going for some shut-eye now."
Ben nodded. "Good night," he bid Yang. "Get some rest. You'll need it if you are to take on more villains tomorrow."
"You know it!" Yang exclaimed, nearly letting everyone see the poster she had. She gasped and picked it back up. "I mean… you'll know I'll make you proud!" she caught herself before running upstairs. As she did, she tripped on one of the steps, but was able to get herself back up onto her feet. "Good night, and may the Good Lord take a liking to your soul!" she called out before running past Soul, causing him to fall over and down the two stair steps.
Ben narrowed his eyes at Yang. He looked to Danny as he turned back into Human Form.
"Danny," Ben said to Danny. "Keep an eye on Yang," he ordered. "There's something… off about her."
"Roger that." Danny replied with a nod as he went Ghost again and flew upstairs.
"And this time… do not look into any of the girls' rooms!" Ben called out.
"Yes, Sir." Danny said deadpan as he turned intangible before continuing to fly upstairs.
Inside of the Room of Team RWBY, as Ruby, Weiss and Blake all slept, Yang was up at her desk, looking to the poster of the Golden Grace Performers.
"In two days, I'm going to win these babies," Yang said as she put the poster into her pocket and went to bed. "And I'm gonna be the best racer with Ed that the World has ever known!" she exclaimed before going to sleep. "Better rest for tomorrow. I've got to prepare for the race coming up soon." She said, closing her eyes and finally falling fast asleep.
Danny flew into the room of Team RWBY. He was about to look into what Yang was looking at until he remembered what Ben had said. Weiss was slowly starting to come to. Danny gasped and flew out of the room just as Weiss rubbed and opened her eyes. She looked around, having thought she had seen something. When she saw nothing or no one else aside from Team RWBY around, she went back to sleep.
The next morning, Yang got up early. She stretched her arms and went to get her clothes on. After getting dressed, she dashed downstairs and slid on the railing. She soon grabbed an apple and a bowl of porridge before walking out, eating the porridge from the bowl.
"Ah…" Yang sighed as she got onto her bike while finishing the porridge at the same time. "Just right." She mused before driving off.
At the same time, Kevin came out. He looked around, thinking that he had seen something. After a while of not seeing anything, he shrugged and went to his work table, where he admired his new sword. He swung it, but suddenly felt something off about his new sword.
"Needs to be better balanced," Kevin said to himself, placing the sword back onto the table. "Gonna have to go back to the drawing board." He quietly complained before he started to start up the dormant furnace.
Downtown, at an empty skate park, Yang drove her Bumblebee up to the starting point. She inspected all of the obstacles carefully as she adjusted her goggles. After a while of seeing what kinds of bends and turns she would take, she started her bike and drove off down onto the ramp, zooming along. She came across some cones in her way and lifted one wheel off of the ground before driving over the cones. She soon landed on the turnpike, riding along the wall before adjusting her tires as she came around a difficult bend.
As soon as Yang finished coming around the bend, she suddenly found her bike twirling around in the air like a coin being flipped. Yang gasped at this sudden trap, seeing a board pop up from the ground below. However, this did not stop her. She started to rev her engine and go even faster, allowing the air to carry her. She started to spin even faster, making herself almost set on fire. It was not long before she landed on the ground safe and sound, skidding away to the side as the asphalt burned behind her.
At the same time, Motor Ed was at a demolition derby. He looked to the course that was set up for him and grinned. He placed his helmet onto his head and started his engine. Soon, he drove off towards the derby, pressing a button on his gauntlet that activated empty car drones to come from all sides to either attack him or race him.
Motor Ed zoomed past one of the car drones before leaping through the air over an old monster truck. The other cars behind him followed. Some of them crashed while others made it over the truck and continued to follow Motor Ed.
"If I'm to keep up the competition, I need to know the competition," Motor Ed said to himself as he drove past some cars rushing at him. "Seriously, I do."
Motor Ed yelled as he drove through some flames coming up from the ground. Two cars exploded behind him while three more continued to catch up behind him. Motor Ed still continued to race, not minding the casualties before turning a bend and sending dirt towards a pit nearby. He soon saw the finish line and accelerated, making his way past several cars attacking him from both sides. As he did, he started to drive even faster as the remaining cars behind him exploded. He soon crossed the finish line and leapt off of his bike in victory.
"AAAAAAWWWWWWW… YYYYYEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Motor Ed trilled as he played air guitar once again.
As this was happening, Yang drove by and rode onto the course. Motor Ed looked to Yang and smiled as he sent more car drones after her. Much to his surprise, Yang used her Ember Celicas to fire at some of the car drones before flipping her bike over some of the burnt remains of some other cars. She spun around again and started to drive backwards, taunting the cars behind her before accelerating towards a wall.
"Yang, look out!" Motor Ed called out.
At the same time, Ruby was coming out of a shop, reading a book on the history of weapons from wars to assassinations. As she was reading it, she suddenly heard the strange voice call out to Yang. Ruby gasped and dialed a button on her phone which summoned her Rocket-Propelled Locker. She pressed another button on it and soon, a wheel grew underneath it, turning the Locker into a bike. She took off on it as she made her way towards the source of the sound.
Yang chuckled. At the last possible second, she steered away from the wall, letting the other cars crash. She laughed happily as she crossed the finish line, making it past all of the other obstacles.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH… YYYYYYAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Yang exclaimed as she performed the same air guitar moves while standing on top of her Bumblebee.
"Not bad, Blondie," Motor Ed said as he walked up to Yang. "Seriously, not bad," he added on. "Maybe we should come to this course more often and practice or hang out."
"But don't you dare say have a date," Yang teased. "You're much too old for me."
"I wouldn't go for the mushy stuff," Motor Ed said while three figures started to watch over them from the shadows. "There are some stuff I can't even stand back where I hang out," he said, thinking about Vilgax, Psyphon and Will Harangue having joined Ultimate Dai-Shocker. "One minute, you're having the time of your life, and then some killjoys just decide to come in and ruin all of the fun. Seriously, it reeks."
"I feel ya," Yang said. "You won't believe what it's like for me when I have a teammate who thinks he knows everything and can handle us," she said. "Sure, he came off as nice at first, but as time went by, he started to make himself feel like he was the center of attention."
"Same with the bum who came to my crib," Motor Ed said. "They just don't understand our need for freedom. Seriously."
"Seriously," Yang said. "Well, the race isn't until tomorrow, and we still have time," she said, looking to her watch. She suddenly saw something beeping on it. "Oh, no," she exclaimed as her eyes went wide. "My Sister's heading this way!"
"If you know another place we can race, name it," Motor Ed said as he got onto his bike. "I'll make sure it's a place where we won't be bothered. Seriously."
Yang nodded. "Let's head to the quarry," she said. "The last time I was there, no one was occupying it. It's practically abandoned."
"Sounds good, Blondie," Motor Ed said. "If we're both thinking of the same quarry outside of Bellwood, then I'm in," he said. "See you there. Seriously." He said before driving off.
Yang nodded as Motor Ed drove through the back entrance. She drove out of the way she came through, suddenly coming across Ruby.
"Oh, Ruby. Hi," Yang said as Ruby prepared to unsheathe her Crescent Rose. "What brings you here?"
"I heard someone call out your name," Ruby said. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm just fine," Yang said. "I just spotted someone suspicious heading to here, but they escaped," she said, trying not to go into too much detail on Motor Ed. "He must have escaped, but I'm gonna go after him," she went on. "Why don't you go back to the House now?" she asked.
Ruby shrugged. "Well, if you say so," she said, looking down onto the field. "But I don't see any signs of a fight down there."
"I chased him off," Yang said. "Tell Ben I'm gonna be out for a while!" she called out as she drove off.
Ruby narrowed her eyes at Yang. "Okay, Yang, whatever you say," she said before sending her Rocket-Propelled Locker back to where it came from. "See you later!" she called out before walking back home.
Yang nodded and drove off towards the quarry, where she would be meeting Motor Ed.
As soon as Yang was out of sight, Ruby stopped walking and turned around. She reached for her comlink and pressed it.
"Fitz, are you there?" Ruby asked as she looked to where Yang once was before continuing to walk on home.
"I'm here, Ruby," Fitz replied. "What's going on?"
"I need to know how good you are at making good trackers," Ruby said as she walked past three vehicles driving by fast. "And if you can make them without allowing others to know that they're really there."
"I dabble," Fitz said. "Come to the Playground, and we can talk about it some more."
Meanwhile, Yang had arrived at the old abandoned quarry outside of Bellwood. When she arrived, she saw that Motor Ed was waiting for her. There was also a new course set up within the quarry, one that was filled with at least twice more obstacles than before and a bigger difficulty of getting through.
"I see you had time to set up a new course," Yang mused as she looked to the course that Motor Ed had set up. "Sorry about the wait. My little sister wouldn't stop worrying about me. She thought I was in danger back at the demolition derby."
"Yeah, I feel you, Blondie," Motor Ed said. "I have this cousin who's always blue about how I go. Seriously, he wouldn't stop bugging me. I changed him to match my style, but it didn't last long. Seriously."
"You can change who a person looks, but you can't change them entirely," Yang mused. "Okay, let's get going," she said. "What do we have to look out for?"
"I constructed some more car drones," Motor Ed explained. "They are designed to match the actual competition that we will be facing in the real ultimate race. All we have to do is race them, make it past all of the obstacles, and get to the finish line in under thirty minutes."
"That sounds like a plan," Yang said as she lowered the visor on her helmet. "Ready to get started?"
"You know it, Blondie. Seriously, Motor Ed said as he placed his own helmet on. "And if anyone tries to cut the lion's mane, they shall know my fury! Seriously!" he exclaimed.
Yang chuckled. "Same with me," she said. "Because no one touches the hair!"
"I'm lovin' your style!" Motor Ed exclaimed as the lights in front of them went from red to yellow. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH… YYYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!"
The light soon turned green, and Yang and Motor Ed both took off. The two blonde racers drove off into the quarry, where Motor Ed's car drones activated and raced after them.
"Stay on me!" Yang called out. "We need to be in perfect sync if we're to win the races."
"I hear ya," Motor Ed said. "Time to burn rubber! Seriously!" he exclaimed.
Both Yang and Motor Ed raced off, letting the car drones eat their dust. It was not long before both Yang and Motor Ed's timers started, each counting down from thirty minutes.
Yang and Motor Ed raced under axes thrown at them before tilting their bikes to the side to avoid spikes on the ground. The race car drones behind the two were either caught in the traps or raced on, acting as if they were the actual competition for the race.
Motor Ed drove his bike around, causing it to spin around as he dashed towards some incoming roadblocks up ahead. Yang drove behind him as the two crashed directly into the blocks, causing the debris from it to fly into the air and land onto every one of the race car drones. While seven of them were hit, eight more followed behind them.
Yang decided to take the lead, seeing several flames bursting out from underneath the ground. She kicked the stand down and caused her bike to spin in the air like she did before. Motor Ed looked to Yang and followed her lead, doing the same with his own bike. As the two spun around, they let the flames blow around them. Once they landed, the flames subsided, and wore off. Three race car drones were hit by the flames behind them as they continued to race on.
From a distance away, Baron Highway and the Road Crew rode up on motorcycles and watched everything happen.
"They don't seem that bad." Turbine said.
"They sure have their work cut out for them." Road Rage stated.
"It doesn't matter," Baron Highway said. "They were both the best in the last Road Race, and the best has to go if we're to take the GGPs for ourselves."
Soon, Yang and Motor Ed came around the last bend. Spikes came up out of the ground, but both Yang and Motor Ed rode off of a ramp, avoiding the spikes while the race car drones behind them stopped, causing the rest to crash into each other. With ease, Yang and Motor Ed crossed the finish line. As soon as they did, they both got off and slid on their knees.
"YYYYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH… YYYYYYAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" both Yang and Motor Ed trilled as they both played air guitar. The two laughed as they continued to do air guitar before getting back up onto their feet.
"Chest Bump! Seriously!" Motor Ed exclaimed as he and Yang both leapt up and bumped each other in the chests.
"Okay…" Yang said as she stopped to catch her breath. "Ed… That. Was. WICKED!" she exclaimed, shooting some rounds into the air.
"You're not too bad, Yang. Seriously," Motor Ed said. "Sure, there were some great racers in the past, but you… you've got something going on there that makes you… radical!"
"And you have the serious need for speed," Yang replied to Motor Ed. "How was our time?"
Motor Ed looked to his timer. "Five minutes before thirty minutes," he reported. "I'd say we could do better, but what I have to say is so much more! Seriously!" he exclaimed.
"Seriously, indeed!" Yang exclaimed. "You wanna go another round?"
"Sure, why not?" Motor Ed asked. "There's never such a thing as too much burning rubber, after all. Seriously!" he exclaimed.
Yang and Motor Ed both chuckled. Motor Ed pressed a button on his motorcycle and activated the course again, as well as all of the race car drones. Both Yang and Motor Ed nodded to each other before they drove off onto the open course.
Later that evening, Kevin drove his car up into an alley. He came out holding a piece of Stark Industries Metal. He absorbed it, as well as some Vibranium, before walking towards the alley, forming a blade from his hand as he did so.
"Argit? You here?" Kevin called out quietly. "As we agreed, I came alone!"
At that moment, several spikes were sent towards Kevin's way. Kevin held up his blade and knocked each spike to the side before seeing his friend, Argit, come out from the shadows.
"Hey there, Kev," Argit said. "So, I hear that you're looking for some help? Something about… Ben Tennyson and his new Super Friends?"
Argit was some sort of a small, humanoid version of a porcupine or an opossum, complete with grey skin and a pink tail. He could measure up to Ben's jacket and Kevin's shirt. He wore a black T-shirt with a orange and brown jacket, as well as blue jeans. He also had big yellow eyes and black quills for hair.
"The word spreads quickly," Kevin mused. "Look, I know that you have a habit of helping out both sides when it comes to a War, as I recall from Rozoul. I also know you're not too keen on helping me, Ben or Gwen out if we don't have something to pay you with."
"And what do you have to make me help you?" Argit asked.
Kevin placed the piece of Vibranium on the ground. "This metal is Vibranium, the same material used for the Shield of Captain America," Kevin explained. "It is practically unbreakable, even by Tadenite standards."
"Well… looks legit to me," Argit said. He took out a spike and stabbed it with it, only to feel a vibration go through him. "Oh, and it even lives up to its name," he mused before smiling at Kevin. "Okay, Kevin. We have a deal."
"So, what have you got?" Kevin asked as he crossed his arms.
"First off, I've got nothing up my sleeve, so you can retract your armor now," Argit said. Kevin narrowed his eyes at Argit before forming a second blade on his arm. "Or… not," Argit mused. "Anyways, have you ever heard of the Golden Grace Performers?"
"The Enhancers of the 20th Century?" Kevin asked, his eyes growing wide. "What deep waters have you gotten yourself into, Argit?"
"Just some trouble with the SPD, but that's nothing to worry about," Argit said. "Anyways, rumor is going around that Baron Highway has reassembled the Road Crew, and he's looking for them! They're in some sort of race, but no one has been going into enough specific details. I just know that eight of them exist, and whoever wins the race with them is able to get them too! It's been kept off of Plumber Radar, as well as SHIELD's too."
"But yet… you were able to get this info," Kevin said. "What do the GGPs do?"
"Well, Princess Attea got some, and she blew up an asteroid system with it!" Argit exclaimed. "They enhance anything tenfold times tenfold!"
"This is not helping your case here, Argit," Kevin said. "Remember Thor, the God of Thunder? He's in the Alliance, and so is the Hulk, Cyborg, and some very other powerful people. What else have you got?"
"Only these words that will make you sleep much better at night;" Argit said as he leaned against a wall. "Emerald Wheel Grand Prix."
Kevin's eyes widened. He grinned as he looked down to Argit. "Thank you for your time, Argit," Kevin said. "As a matter of fact, I think that will help me sleep better tonight."
"You betcha!" Argit exclaimed as Kevin made his way back to his car. "Oh, and Kev?" he called out as Kevin was about to get into his car. "You know that girl in Ben's Alliance who looks exactly like Gwen?"
"Kim Possible?" Kevin asked.
"No, the other redhead with Danny Phantom," Argit corrected before handing Kevin some paper. "I think her name was Jazz. Can you get her autograph for me? I'm a humongous fan of hers!"
Kevin chuckled as he took the paper. "You're lucky," he said. "She's single."
"Thanks, Kev!" Argit called out as he ran back into the alley. "You're the best!"
"Um, Argit?" Kevin called out. "You need a ride to a safe place?"
"Nah, I'm good over here," Argit called out. "See ya later, Kev!"
Kevin nodded and started his car. Now having some useful information, he drove back to Ben's House.
At the same time, Yang was arriving back at Ben's House. The minute she parked the Bumblebee, Kevin drove in, causing Yang to gasp and go to the side for protection.
Ben came out, seeing both Yang and Kevin get back.
"Yang, you weren't cleared for patrol today," Ben said as he looked to Yang with an eyebrow raised. "Where have you been? Ruby said you were racing."
"Just on my own, with my Bumblebee, of course," Yang said. "Now, if you excuse me…"
"Yeah, I will," Ben said as he stepped to the side. "You deserve some rest. Two days of being out must have made you tired. Do me a favor and get some rest."
"Okay, Ben," Yang said as she walked into the house, stretching her arms. "Good night!"
Ben nodded before looking to Kevin. "Did Argit deliver?" he asked.
"Have you ever heard of the Golden Grace Performers?" Kevin asked.
"The what?" Ben asked in response.
"Golden Grace Performers," Kevin said clearly as Will came in on her bike. She walked past Ben and into the House, stopping for a cup of orange juice. "They can enhance the performance of practically anything from rides to weapons."
"And does Ultimate Dai-Shocker know about these?" Will asked, now curious about the topic as she came over. "We need as big an advantage as we can get, you know."
"Not from what Argit can tell," Kevin replied, shaking his head. "But they're going to be held at some race, and eight of them, the only ones, are going to be the grand prize."
Ben nodded. "I see," he said. "I'll see if Wade and Jimmy can do a sweep of all known races with that kind of prize."
"If there's one system that can find it, I know SHIELD can," Ruby said, appearing behind Ben and Will. "And speaking of, I'm concerned for Yang."
"I know," Ben said as he and Will walked with Ruby. "I looked into all police reports, and Yang never turned in a single criminal."
"You should see the Skate Park on Forty-Fourth," Will said. "It was covered in tire tracks."
"There's something Yang's not telling us," Ruby said. "And I'm her sister!"
"I know, and I'm more concerned that you," Ben stated. "We need to find a way to keep an eye on Yang without her noticing."
"And I think I have something that can help," Danny said as he flew down. He placed the poster Yang had on the table nearby. "I take it these are the Golden Grace Performers that Kevin was talking about?"
Ben, Will, Ruby and Danny all looked to the poster closely.
"It's a race for tomorrow," Kevin said as he came over, looking to the poster as well. "The Emerald Wheel Grand Prix."
"A street race," Ben deducted. "Yang has been practicing for this."
"Well, she didn't have to keep it a secret!" Ruby exclaimed.
"She probably didn't know we needed these," Will said. "But from what I can tell, she is only aiming to get four of these."
"Four is all that we need," Ben said. "But I want to know more about what's going on."
"What's going on?" Yang asked as she came down. Everyone looked to her as she narrowed her eyes at the poster. "Danny!" she exclaimed. "Did you pocket this from me?"
"No!" Danny offensively exclaimed, causing Ben, Will, Ruby and Kevin to roll their eyes at Danny. "Okay… maybe I did."
"What are you up to here, Yang?" Ruby asked. "Sisters are supposed to tell each other everything!"
"Especially if that Sister is part of Ben's Main Alliance." Will added on.
Yang sighed. "Look, a friend just suggested this to me," she said. "It was one I made when we got here. I'm not going to participate in this. I just wanted to have the poster in case I reconsidered."
"That doesn't seem to be the case," Soul said as he came down. "You seem to be doing everything behind our backs."
Yang growled softly and picked Soul up by the collar.
"Look, Soul," Yang said tranquilly. "Ever since you came, you made it seem like you knew everything," she said, shoving him against a wall. "You just had to be outside when that full moon made you transform in Kim's World, and you were even trying to stand out more after Eiji came, as well as when your mother reunited with you," she added on. "Guess what? It's not all about you, and it never was. You always make it look like everything has to do with you. How is it that we've never seen more of these Darkstalkers? Why were you even outside at the time that full moon came? You can't make yourself the center of attention all the time. You can't show that you know everything, because not everyone's an oracle. You became Kamen Rider Birth just because you didn't have the real Birth Driver. I've looked into the records, and from what I can tell, there are only two in existence. You made yours all on your own, and you created your own Medals because you made up a story about that Kazari Greeed attacking your family and you combined Cell Medals with Dust. You acted like you knew everything that was going to happen, but there were others to guide us," she went on. "You always felt the need to get involved with almost everything that happens, but sometimes… your help is not that necessary. Not everything is about you, Soul, so if you don't get the point, I'll set it straight!" she exclaimed before tossing Soul towards the door. "Not. Everything. Is. About. You!" she yelled before getting her poster back and making her way back upstairs. "And if it wouldn't be too much guys…" she started out, her eyes glowing red. "Try not to get on my bad side… or in any of my business." She said sternly before getting to her room and slamming the door.
"She was right, you know," Ben said as he helped Soul back up. "From what Ruby told me, you acted as if you knew everything, but there were always other people who helped us get through everything."
Soul sighed. "I'm still trying to get used to the fact," he said. "I think she just helped make me see that."
Will looked to Ben. "What now?" she asked.
"First, I'm putting Soul on temporary hold," Ben started out. "Second, we're going to let Yang go," he went on. "I have a feeling she's not quite done yet."
The next morning, Yang got up and got dressed. As soon as she was done, she made her way towards the kitchen, getting some milk and cookies as she did so. Ben was with Ruby at the time before the two looked to Yang as she went to the garage to get her Ember Celicas on.
When Yang got to the garage, she saw that her Ember Celica Gauntlets were now more golden than before.
"What's going on?" Yang asked, her eyes still red.
"Just a little enhancement I made," Fitz said as he walked up. "I've programmed your Ember Celicas so that they're more precise."
"What do you mean?" Yang asked as she placed her Ember Celicas onto her wrists.
"They are now linked to your mind," Fitz explained. "If you want to make precise hits on enemies, all you have to do now is simply make contact with them, let it be a punch or a simple touch, and they'll be the locked targets for you to fire upon."
Yang chuckled as she looked to her Ember Celicas. "Nice going, Fitz," she said, nearly patting the Brit on the shoulder. Fitz's eyes widened as he stepped back. "Right…" Yang said, looking to her new Ember Celicas. "Sorry."
"No problem," Fitz said as he regained himself. "Just take care, okay?"
"You got it!" Yang exclaimed as she mounted the Bumblebee. She soon started her bike and took off. "See you later tonight!" she called out before driving away.
Fitz nodded before Ben and Ruby walked over. Soul was about to go after them, but he now had a bracelet attached to his wrist. Once he tried to leave the House, the bracelet pulled him back and pinned him back onto the wall.
"And that will also track down Yang too?" Ruby asked Fitz.
"Yeah, it should," Fitz replied. "If what you told me is true, then we should also be able to find out what she's up to too."
"Good," Ben said as he took out a Rider Card. "I'll take it from here." He said before opening up the Decadriver and slotting in the Decade Kamen Ride Card.
KAMEN RIDE: DECADE!
Ruby and Fitz both stood back as Ben transformed into Kamen Rider Decade. He soon mounted the Machine Decader and rode off after Yang.
"There he goes," Ruby said. "And hopefully… to find out what Yang's been up to."
At the same time, racers for the street race were gathering together. Several of them, including the starter, were talking with one another.
"You know, I could, like, get used to this kind of thing for a while," one of the racers was saying to some of the others. "But I've got a girlfriend who's totally worried for me. I'm gonna go straight after this, dude."
"Yeah, I feel ya," a female racer said. "My pops ain't gonna stop worrying 'bout me whenever I go out."
"Well, we could make this our last street race," the starter said. "Which reminds me, my peeps, I need to get to the starting line," he said as he walked off. "See ya! And may the winner topple over everyone else!"
"Well, let's get started," another racer with partially purple hair said. "We can't be late."
All of a sudden, two canisters were thrown to the ground. All of the racers looked to the canisters with surprise before gas started to come out from them. All of the racers coughed from the gas. Some of them tried to escape, but cars suddenly got in their way, blocking their escape. Another racer tried to race out, only to have their vehicle destroyed. Soon, all of the racers were knocked out cold.
"We have the racers," Turbine said to Baron Highway. "But none like the blondes."
"Illegally blondes," Baron Highway corrected. "And don't worry," he added on. "I have a surprise for them when they arrive."
It was not long before Yang arrived near Los Soledad, where Motor Ed was waiting. Yang stopped the Bumblebee beside Motor Ed and removed her helmet.
"Looks like you decided to get here early, Blondie," Motor Ed mused. "Seriously. We two are, like, the only ones here!"
Yang narrowed her eyes at the road. She could only see the starter at the line, his flag being twirled around in his hand.
"Hey! Chad!" Yang called out. "Where are the other racers?"
Chad looked up. "They said they ditched," he said. "Looks like you two are our only racers."
"Something's off, Blondie," Motor Ed said as Yang looked to him. "Seriously. I smell mustard gas in the air."
"You're not the only one," Yang said. She tugged on her gloves. "Hope you have a weapon of some kind ready."
"One wrench hidden in my pocket," Motor Ed said. "Seriously. I always come prepared."
"And start!" Chad called out.
Yang and Motor Ed both took off. As they turned a bend, however, paste on the ground suddenly trapped their bikes. Yang and Motor Ed both gasped as they were thrown off of their bikes and to the ground. The two got up, but were hit in the back of the head, now officially knocked out unconscious.
"Bring them with the others." Baron Highway ordered Turbine and Road Rage as the Road Crew hovered over Yang and Motor Ed's bodies.
Sometime after, Ben arrived on his Machine Decader. He looked around, seeing the remains of some bikes on the ground. He rode up and picked up some yellow hair.
"Yang was here," Ben said. He closed his eyes, and within his helmet, Fitz and Ruby appeared on two different screens. "Ruby, I've lost Yang," he reported. "Fitz, can you get a lock on her?"
"Working on it." Fitz said as he typed onto the computer.
Ben saw a screen with a yellow blinking dot on it.
"Got it, thanks." Ben said before riding off.
Later on, Yang and Motor Ed both started to come to. The two found themselves tied behind the leg of a table inside some sort of workshop.
"Who's behind this?!" Yang called out. She and Motor Ed both tried to get loose until they saw the sight of a familiar man with a white mullet. "Baron Highway!"
"Who is this bozo?!" Motor Ed exclaimed.
"I'm the Baron of the Roads," Baron Highway. "Soon to be the kings… once I get my hands on those Golden Grace Performers."
"So that's what this is about!" Yang exclaimed. "You wanted the competition out of your way!"
"Well, aren't you smart?" Baron Highway remarked as he grabbed Yang's chin. "You could make a cute trophy after I claim the Performers for myself."
Yang growled and tried to bite Baron Highway, only for him to pull his hand away.
"But maybe some time locked away with the rest of the riders will teach you to show some respect." Road Rage teased.
"Ed, we've gotta stop them," Yang whispered. "I've got a blade hidden within my gauntlets, but I can't risk letting these guys know we're plotting an escape."
"Don't worry, Yang," Motor Ed said. "I'll cover you."
Yang nodded. "Okay, get going." She whispered.
"Stop whispering!" Turbine called out as she looked to the Bumblebee. "Or else we make you!"
"Oh, come on!" Motor Ed exclaimed. "You call this a heist? I've seen a ten-year old kid stop two bums with only traps in a house! It won't be long until the cops or the Plumbers come here to stop you! Seriously!"
"And what would you know about heists?" Baron Highway asked, aiming a sharp crowbar at Motor Ed from his desk.
"Only that they only fail!" Motor Ed remarked as Yang got her knife.
"Keep going!" Yang whispered as she started to cut herself free. "I'm getting you out next!"
"Once you get rid of us, you're gonna be wanted men! Seriously!" Motor Ed called out. "Cops are gonna be up to your knees because of twelve missing bodies! Seriously!"
"Must you say 'seriously' all the time?" Baron Highway asked as he and the rest of the Road Crew cringed.
"Seriously?" Motor Ed asked.
"Seriously." Turbine growled angrily.
"Yeah, I do!" Motor Ed yelled. "Seriously!"
"Seriously busted!" Yang exclaimed, finally cutting herself free and getting into a battle stance. "Seriously!"
"Big mistake, little girl!" Turbine called out, grabbing a crowbar.
"No, kidnapping us, the main competition, that was a big mistake," Yang said as she used her Ember Celicas to blast Motor Ed free. "Seriously. Trying to take the GGPs for yourself… that's a majorly fruit loop crazy mistake!"
"Yeah! Seriously!" Motor Ed exclaimed. He took out his crowbar and his wrench from his pockets, both growing larger as he spun them around. "Now you've gotta deal with us! Seriously!"
"Okay, change of plans!" Baron Highway called out as he grabbed his own crowbar. "We take the Golden Grace Performers… and leave no survivors!"
"We have to take back our rides!" Yang called out. "And we have to free the other racers!"
"Seriously?!" Motor Ed asked incredulously.
"If we leave them here, we're no good as the Road Crew themselves!" Yang explained.
"I'm low, but I don't go that low!" Motor Ed exclaimed. "Alright, Road Crew! You're about to see the full fury of Motor Ed! Seriously!" he trilled before charging towards Road Rage and Turbine.
Yang cocked her Ember Celicas and shot some rounds at Baron Highway. Baron Highway deflected the blasts before Yang charged at him, sending several punches towards him. However, he started to slam back at her, only for Yang to pat him on the shoulder before grabbing a motor pipe nearby.
"En Garde!" Yang called out, holding the motor pipe like a sword.
Baron Highway lunged at Yang, who used the motor pipe to fend off against him. It was not long before Baron Highway started to try and stab at Yang, but Yang pushed Baron Highway back and slammed her pipe onto him. Baron Highway struck back as he pushed Yang back this time. However, Yang circled her pipe around Baron Highway's crowbar before disarming him of it. She tossed the pipe towards Baron Highway, causing him to fall back, before Yang punched at him with several rounds from her Ember Celicas.
Motor Ed clashed with Turbine and Road Rage, crowbar and wrench with drills and saws. While the Road Crew were a group of highway pirates, Motor Ed was more specialized with equipment when it came to cars as tools of trade. He easily disarmed Turbine and Road Rage of their weapons before slamming the two in the chest and getting to his bike. He picked up one of the saws and used it to free Yang's Bumblebee.
"Yang! I've got your Bumblebee humming again!" Motor Ed called out. "Seriously, I do."
Yang backflipped away from Baron Highway and shot some more rounds at him, knocking him into Turbine and Road Rage.
"Got it!" Yang called out. She backflipped onto the Bumblebee, and at the same time, both she and Motor Ed started their bikes. "Let's burn rubber!" she called out as the two rode around.
"Get to your bikes!" Baron Highway demanded before Yang came and patted them all. As she was riding away, she swiveled her Bumblebee around and shot around with her Ember Celicas, causing her blasts to bend all over the place and shoot only and directly at each member of the Road Crew. In the process as the Road Crew were falling over, the keys flew into the air, which Motor Ed caught as he rode up a work bench.
"Let's get the other riders and get out of here!" Motor Ed exclaimed.
"You've got that right!" Yang quipped before Motor Ed rode towards a large door. He tossed the keys into the slot, causing the door to open up. Soon, he and Yang both rode into it, seeing all of the other riders chained up with their bikes.
"We're not done yet!" Baron Highway called out as he and the Road Crew all ran back. "Get to the trucks!"
Yang took a saw-blade and used it to cut everyone free. As soon as they were free, the racers got to their vehicles.
"You did all the hard work!" a car driver called out. "I'll take down the door!"
Yang nodded before looking to Motor Ed. "See what happens when we do the right thing?" she asked.
"Yeah, seriously!" Motor Ed exclaimed. "This is righteous! Seriously!"
The door burst down, and soon, Yang and Motor Ed led the racers out.
"Okay, we need to get to the finish line!" Yang called out. "And we've gotta put an end to the Road Crew!"
All of a sudden, there was a loud honking sound behind everyone. Everyone turned around and yelled in surprise to see Baron Highway and the Road Crew right behind them.
"They've got a truck!" a red-car racer named McQueen called out.
"EVERYONE HAS A TRUCK!" Yang yelled back as everyone drove faster. "What's the big trucking deal?!"
"We're taking you all down!" Baron Highway called out.
Yang rode up beside Motor Ed.
"Ed, you have to pull some of my hair out!" Yang yelled. "I need to get angry, and much to my regret… so do you."
"Seriously?!" Motor Ed exclaimed. "We're cutting our manes?!"
"We have no choice." Yang said dramatically.
Yang and Motor Ed both reached for each others' hair. On the count of three, they pulled out some of their hair. The two of them gasped as the hair fell to the ground.
"Alright! That's it!" Yang exclaimed as her eyes went red and her Ember Celicas, as well as her entire body, lit up. "Now I'm angry!"
"No one… cuts… the mane!" Motor Ed yelled. "SSSEEERRRIIIOOOUUUSSSLLLYYY!"
Both Yang and Motor Ed turned their bikes around and drove right at the Road Crew. The other racers, seeing the rage on their faces, cleared a path for them to get through.
"They're coming right for us!" Road Rage called out.
"Let me give them the slip!" Turbine called out as she spilled some oil onto the ground. Afterwards, she took out some crowbars and sharpened them before she threw them at Yang and Motor Ed. "Get the point?!"
"We're just getting FIRED UP!" Yang yelled as she lit the oil on fire. She and Motor Ed raced through it before Yang leapt up and shot at everywhere on the monster trucks.
"That girl is on fire!" Road Rage exclaimed.
"She's lost her mind!" Baron Highway exclaimed.
"Never! Mess! With! The! Hair!" Yang yelled as she punched into the engines and the tires all at once. When she was done, she spread some of the fire onto the trucks, all of which exploded as she and Motor Ed both raced off, fist-bumping each other.
As Yang and Motor Ed led the racers to victory, Baron Highway and the Road Crew lay on the ground, battered, burnt and humiliated. As they were getting up, a blur came by and handcuffed them all.
"Nice to see you again, Baron," Ben quipped as he appeared as XLR8. He transformed back into Kamen Rider Decade and back to Ben. "Back to jail with you."
At the finish line, the starter lowered the flag as the racers made way for Yang and Motor Ed. As they crossed the finish line, all of the racers cheered.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH… YYYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!" Yang and Motor Ed trilled as they leapt off of their bikes and played air guitar.
"Congrats, dudes!" the starter called out as he handed Yang and Motor Ed four Golden Grace Performers each. "Here are your prizes!"
"Oh, this is so off the hook! Seriously!" Motor Ed exclaimed.
"I can't believe it!" Yang exclaimed. "We won!"
"We wouldn't have if it weren't for you," one of the racers said. "You were righteous!"
"Yeah," Yang said. "But I think I'm gonna retire for now."
"I feel ya, which is why you deserve all eight of these. Seriously," Motor Ed said, handing the GGPs to Yang. Yang smiled in surprise before smiling to Motor Ed. "I've gotta go now, Yang, but maybe I'll see you around sometime?"
"Seriously!" Yang replied.
Motor Ed chuckled as he started to drive off.
"And Ed?" Yang called out. "'Blondie' works just fine for me."
Motor Ed saluted to Yang as he drove off. Yang saluted back and drove on home.
When Yang came back, she immediately ran into the house. The rest of the Alliance, with Ben, were waiting for her.
"Guess who just got the GGPs?" Yang called out as she placed the Golden Grace Performers on a table.
"Awesome!" Rex exclaimed as he came over.
"Nice score!" Tony complimented.
Ben came over to Yang. "You calm now?" he asked.
"Yeah…" Yang said before looking to Soul. "I'm finally… at peace… seriously."
Soon, Motor Ed came back to the Ultimate Dai-Shocker Castle. Ronin was waiting for him.
"So, you came back." Ronin said.
"Yeah, finally got everything out of my systems," Ed said. "And I had suck a rocking time!"
"Seriously?" Ben, Soul and Ronin all asked at once.
"Seriously," Yang and Motor Ed both said before sliding on the ground and playing air guitar. "AAAAAAAHHHHHHH… YYYYYEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!"
