Twenty Four: We will always be together

Raph froze. He couldn't believe it. Sam was finally awake. Sam tried to get up, but Raph ran over to her and pushed her back down. ''Easy, easy''. Sam looked at

him. ''Raph..what happened?'' Raph sighed. He was hoping she wouldn't ask that. ''After we knocked out Shredder we headed back to the lair''. ''You were blacked

out as soon as we reached the lair, and Donnie started working on you and then….'' Raph sighed and looked away from her. ''Raph what happened?'' Raph didn't

answer her. ''Raph?'' He grabbed a chair again and sat down next to her. ''We almost lost you''. ''You were so close''. Sam looked at him shocked. ''Oh my God''.

Raph nodded. ''But Donnie was able to save you, and you've been in a coma for the past week''. Sam was silent. ''Raph i'm so sorry''. Raph looked at her confused.

''For what?'' ''for scaring you''. ''If I would have listened I….'' ''I'm so sorry''. Raph kissed her. ''It's ok Sam''. Sam smiled at him and he stroked her hair. ''I'm glad

your'e ok'' said Raph. ''Yeah I am to''. But before they could say anything more, everyone else came running in. ''SAM!'' Mikey hugged her tightly. ''Your'e awake!''

''yep now would please stop squishing me to death?'' ''Oops sorry'' said Mikey letting go. ''Thank God your'e awake'' said April hugging her to. ''We were all so

worried''. Sam smiled. ''Yeah I know thanks April''. April smiled and let go of her. ''So does this mean that Shredder is gone?'' Everyone frowned. ''What?'' Leo

sighed. ''We were only able to injure him badly and knock him out''. ''Shredder will be back, but not for a long time''. Sam smiled at that. She knew Shredder would

be back. And next time she would be more than ready. ''So how are you feeling?'' asked Donnie changing the subject. ''I'm ok''. Sam's stomach growled. ''But do

we have any pizza laying around?'' ''She's fine'' said Leo sarcastically and Mikey laughed. ''Were glad your'e awake Sam''. Sam smiled again. ''Yeah I am to''. Mikey

hugged her again. ''hurting, your'e hurting me!'' ''sorry'' Mikey let go and everyone laughed. Sam smiled. It was so good to be back home again.

For the next few days, Sam focused on getting better. She still couldn't move as much because of her injury, but with a little help from Donnie and the guys, pretty

soon Sam was able to sit up. The guys moved her from Donnie's lab to the couch. And Sam had to stay there for most of the time because Donnie told her to rest.

The guys tried to cheer her up, especially Mikey who would sit with her and reads his comics to her. Sam appreciated all of what the guys were doing, but it wasn't

cheering her up any and Raph could tell. He knew exactly how to make her feel better. Everyone was off doing their own thing, Mikey was in his room, Leo and

Master Splinter were in the dojo, and April and Donnie were in the lab, and Sam was on the couch by herself watching Tv. Raph walked in holding the small black

box behind his back. He sat down next to her and she smiled. ''Hey''.''Hey can I talk to you?'' ''sure''. Raph picked her up off the couch and Sam looked at him

confused. ''Raph Donnie told me I'm not supposed to move''. Raph smirked. ''I know''. They went back towards Raph's room and he set her down on his bed and he

sat next to her. ''Sam there's something I've been wanting to ask you for a while''. ''Ok what is it?'' Raph looked away from her and at the box in his hands. He

suddenly got nervous. Sam saw the box in his hands. ''Raph what is that?'' Raph looked at her. ''Sam I want you to go steady with me''. He opened the box and

Sam gasped. She saw the necklace with the turtle charm. Sam was silent she didn't know what to say. Raph was getting worried that she didn't want to go steady

with him. Sam kissed him. ''Yes''. ''I would love to go steady with you''. Raph smiled and put the necklace on her. ''Now we will always be together''. They kissed

again. ''Awwwwww''. They turned and saw everyone standing in the doorway. ''That is so cute'' said April. ''Yeah and it's adorable''. ''Oh shut up'' said Sam. And

Sam and Raph kissed again.

Me: success!

Donnie: not bad

Mikey: whoo! awesome!

Me: thanks mikey

Leo: good ending

Raph: yeah it was ok

Me:(rolls eyes) whatever i know you liked it Raphie

Mikey: your'e in for it
