She leaned against the chair, with her eyes closed, and she pressed the bridge of her nose and sighed… she opened one eye and looked at the screen.

The numbers and letters were all aligned neatly, in complicated mathematical equations, that even she wasn't sure she would understand it! She cracked her neck and cringed at the pop. Her hands rested on the table in front of the hologram and she gave a push.

Her chair rolled her away from the math. She got up and removed her glasses, while checking the time. 'It's late… I should go home…' she thought to herself, but as she was about to leave someone stopped her.

"Leaving so soon?" A voice said to her, and it cause her to snap her head to the place where it came from. Her braided long hair whipping the air.

"Oh! I didn't hear you…" She looked at the woman in front of her, as she did she didn't hide her discontent.

"Where are you going?" The woman asked, her eyes glaring at her.

"Home." She said while grabbing her bag. And heading for the elevator.

"You haven't finished yet!"

"Look, honey." The other woman's eyes shinned with anger at her, so called, disrespect. "I've been working for three days in a row. I need to sleep."

She turned but this time the woman held her arm. "You still have work to do. If it is sleep you require we shall provide it."

Her silver eyes narrowed and she removed her arm from the other woman's grip.

"Look, Juno, I'm tired, in a need for a shower and a new set of clothes. Sorry, but I'm going home." She was about to walk out when, once again, Juno stopped her.

"You. Are. Not. Leaving!"

"Yes, she is." Suddenly another person entered the room.

"Minerva." Minerva smiled at the silver eyed woman.

"Go home, Light, rest." Juno glared at her companion.

Light glanced from Juno to Minerva, but she wasted no time and walked out of the room. As she was down the corridor she heard the fight between the two women. She ignored them and walked on.

Iluryas saw how the person known as Light, walked right past her. She examined the woman, she looked familiar… She had seen her before, in her dreams…

Her green eyes watched how the world around her changed, and the images turned into a greener place. She saw Light, walk towards a big tree.

The minute she was about to sit down, a blond woman ran into her. The woman's legs curled into her waist and the arms laced around her neck.

"LIIIGHT! It's been ages!" The woman said with a huge grin.

"Lilith! Can't… breath! Air! Air!"

Iluryas smiled as she saw the two, but in her heart, she felt a tight squeeze.

"Okay, that's enough." Behind them a tall man appeared and took the blond woman from Light's back. In return the woman laced herself on the man.

"Cai! Cai! Light is back! She's back!" The man laughed and kissed Lilith on the cheek.

"I can see that, Lil…" His gaze then fell on Light who was rubbing her throat. "Welcome back."

"Thanks…"

She stared at them… at the women and the man who smiled and laughed at each other. Her heart clenched heavily, and she held her breath. Her green eyes looked at the man. It was him… it was the man who hunted her, the man she couldn't kill…

'Why!? Why is he here?' She thought as she watched the scene before her, these people, they were so happy and smiling.

She didn't understand what was going on… why was she seeing these images, now? Why, after all these years of having those dreams, confusing and unclear dreams, why was she seeing this, now? So neatly, and clear…

And… why was HE here! Suddenly the images shattered and Iluryas was surrounded by a darkness, where thousands of shards floated around her… In them she saw all kinds of images. So many were unknow to her, but… in one of them, she saw a familiar face.

'Ezio…'

Iluryas approached the shard and stared at the assassin. He was smiling at her, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

She snickered at his image, the damn Italian who had stolen her heart… Iluryas paused to stare at the image, before her gaze flew to the other floating shards.

"Memories…" She said to herself, her eyes flying from image to image, and quickly she noticed something… her eyes widened. "They're shattered… my memories are shattered… but why?"

As if answering her a piece flew to her, and Iluryas looked into it. The shard shinned and the room changed, and the images in the piece, played before her.

Iluryas saw… how the sky burned and fell down on them. Her eyes looked around seeing the destruction all over. 'I've seen this before…' She thought as she saw the fear in peoples eyes and heard the screams.

Then she saw her, the blond woman, Lilith. She was trapped in a pile of crumbling structure, their eyes locked and Iluryas saw the emotions on her.

A mix of despair and happiness in her eyes. "You're alive! I'm so happy…" She reached towards her, a smile on her face… The earth shook, and opened right beneath them. Iluryas looked back at Lilith her arm reaching for her but she could no longer reach.

Lilith fell to the abysm, Iluryas screamed and tried to save her but… she couldn't, something stopped her from doing it. She looked to see what it was and what she saw was the silver eyed woman, being held in place by a man.

His arm was around her waist, strong and like steel it didn't let her go, she saw how Light squirmed in his grip how she kicked and scratched but most of all Iluryas saw how she cried… and cried…

Her gaze fell on the man… who to her surprise, had a strange resemblance to Ezio. The same eagle eyes, that shined on the light. She heard Light's screams when she turned, and she was in time to see the silver eyed woman slapping him.

"WHY!? Why did you stop me?!" Her eyes raging in fury.

"Light…" He tried to reach for her, but she slapped his hand away.

"DON'T! TOUCH ME!" She screamed. "I could have saved her!"

"Light… you couldn't, the earth opened and… and I had to get you out!" The man that looked like Ezio said.

"WHY!? Why ME!? You had time to get her! Why did you save ME?"

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" He said, and the moment the words left his mouth, she hit him.

"DON'T! Don't you dare!" Tears fell down her eyes and without a second word she left the man alone…

Iluryas only noticed she was crying when the memories disappeared. Her heart was aching so badly. She had no idea why she felt like this, she wasn't even sure if these WERE her emotions!

She closed her eyes and sat on the floor, of the strange room… her memories floating in the air around her… waiting for her to get up and watch them… but, for now she was too tired to do that, her mind needed rest.
