Here we go, and like I mentioned before it really is difficult to make a fight interesting for Natsu considering how powerful I made him. Really am looking forward to writing the fights he has with the people that are on his level.
Everyone was flabbergasted by what they saw, majority were shocked that Natsu intended to fight such odds; while others who knew exactly what the weapon Natsu was wielding were utterly speechless. The Gungnir was a weapon of the heavens, a spear that is said to never miss its target and to never miss a kill. There has only ever been one wielder of this weapon and that was the King of all Dragon's. It should be impossible for Natsu Dragneel to possess such a weapon; the speculations were endless. For Fairy Tail they just couldn't believe that he would bring out his prized weapon for such an occasion,
"is using that really necessary?" Makarov asked, Mavis giggled,
"of course! Even if it's minor, Master needs a reason to go all out once in a while. I guess this is his reason"
"let's just hope he doesn't destroy the city" Macao mumbled, Romeo elbowed his father,
"don't say that!" he whispered, "your only making it worse for the Master" he pointed to the old man, who was sweating bullets,
"Natsu!" he cried out, "if you even think of destroying the city I am going to make you pay for the damages!"
Natsu grinned while spinning Gungnir in his hands; his opponents surrounded him, no matter where he looked there would be one blocking his path. The creatures approached him fast, but with a single sweep, a wave of red energy sliced through them. Natsu then proceeded to launch himself forward easily cutting through the masses into ribbons while at the same time using the extra reach of his weapon to knock down the stragglers. The monsters fired bolts of energy towards Natsu; spinning his spear Natsu created a make shift shield the blocked the attacks, giving him enough time to side step and with the tip of the blade block an attack while at the same time piercing through the monsters fist, Natsu moved forward and punched a hole through it then proceeded to throw Gungnir forward, it blasted through multiple of the beasts before stopping midair and blinking back into Natsu's hands. The Dragon Slayer spun and struck the ground causing a massive shockwave that staggered the beasts. Natsu leaped up and like a bolt of lightning pierced through the remaining S class in his path.
"what an incredible weapon" Erza spoke in awe; she remembered her father speaking of Gungnir, a spear that is unmatched in power; and in Natsu's hands an unstoppable force. Erza grinned; she wanted to try her hand against a weapon like that. Her eyes followed his movements closely, they were fast yet precise; powerful yet controlled; Natsu and Gungnir were in perfect sync.
With how easily Natsu was destroying the so called unstoppable S class monsters it made everyone question just how powerful they were or just how powerful Natsu was; if it truly was the latter then that only made everyone more worried than they already were about the Fairy Tail mages. With another sweep Natsu terminated another before glancing at the remaining five.
"I still can't believe that he was able to defeat so many so easily" Lyon muttered, "his power is so different now when compared to seven years ago" the second disciple of Ur was thinking back to the one time he fought the dragon slayer, he will admit he was powerful back then, but he was certain that after seven years he would have been able to surpass any of the Fairy Tail mages; but now he wasn't so sure. Gray noticed his old companion's distress and couldn't blame him, all the Dragon Slayers were overwhelming, he hated to admit it but Natsu was in a whole other league, he wasn't even sure if Gildarts or the Master could even match Natsu in power.
Surrounded by the S class beasts Natsu spun his spear around before gripping it tightly, a magic circle appeared at the tip of Gungnir. The monsters approached closer before Natsu slammed Gungnir into the ground; five red blades shot out from the ground piercing the five monsters and like the rest, crumbled, defeated by Natsu's hands.
The audience was silent; too stunned for words at how easily Natsu disposed of the S class monsters. It was Natsu who broke the silence when he pumped his fists into the air letting out a victory cheer. And though nobody else could hear besides the Fairy Tail members, Mavis was also cheering alongside her Master;
"I-I can't believe this..." Chapati whispered, none of the commentators had anything to say, they were all too shocked by what just transpired. Following Natsu voice of victory, ten times louder than before the audience roared out with excitement and applause,
"that was crazy!" Nobarly commented, everyone had to agree,
"that's Natsu for you" Gray said arms folded as he nodded knowingly. Obra didn't say anything, the imp tried to mask it's fear and succeeded but deep down he felt a chill go down his spine as he watched the Fire Dragon Slayer's overwhelming power. Sting on the other hand was restless; he wanted to try his hand on taking on Natsu.
The mages of Sabertooth were worried, from Gajeel's fight to Erza's incredible sword play; the power Fairy Tail was showing was overwhelming. For Minerva however that only made things even more interesting; she was a woman who thrived for power and will do anything to achieve it. She smirked; it didn't matter if Fairy Tail took the spotlight, in fact that worked to her favor, because she intended to humiliate them in the worst possible way. Though she had to admit that the Salamander was indeed powerful, maybe even stronger than her father? She didn't know.
Rogue didn't say anything; he just continued to watch Natsu who was doing a small victory dance towards the other competitors; his eyes narrowed before letting out a rare smile. He knew for certain that no one participating would be a match against Natsu, not even the guild masters present would even have a chance against him.
Natsu looked smugly at Gray who looked away dissatisfied,
"show off" the ice mage mumbled, Natsu slung his arm around him,
"aw, did I take your spotlight ice princess?"
"shut it flame brain" Gray growled out. After a while the crowd finally calmed down allowing for Mato to explain what would happen to the remaining contestants. The short man stood before the group as a floating device with a blue orb encased began to rise up from a magic circle;
"since Mr Dragneel has swept Pandemonium, the remaining contestants will now play a small game to determine their position in today's event" Mato explained, "Magic Power Finder, or MPF. When this device is struck with magical power, that power is then represented numerically; those numbers will be used to establish a ranking" everyone looked at the small jewel, uncertain as to how to determine what was considered a good number,
"we will continue in the order that was determined previously" the short man finished. Kagura stepped forth,
"in that case I will be going first" bringing out her weapon, "Style of the Undrawn Long sword" she dashed forward and struck the orb with her sheathed blade,

Nobody could really understand how to comprehend the number, was it good or bad, the audience was clueless,
"maybe I can shed some light on the matter" Lahar said, "we use that device in our rune knight training; that is a very high number, high enough to be a squad captain" the members of Mermaid Heel looked a little skeptical at the number,
"Well Kagura's specialty is in her sword techniques, so something like this is probably unfavorable for her" Milianna commented,
"Next up is Quartro Puppy's Novally"

the man walked away in utter defeat, "the value is 124, kind of low huh?". Hibiki was up next as he adjusted his collar
"looks like I'm next"
"this is rather tough for Hibiki who is a knowledge type" Eve said,
"I should have gone for this one" Ren added,
"you need to believe in your teammate" Ichiya scolded the two, they nodded turning to look at Hibiki,

Hibiki was on his knees in utter defeat; both Eve and Ren chuckled, they were disappointed but not surprised by the outcome. Obra was up next; all of Fairy Tail observed with great interest eager to find out just what sort of magic the Raven Tail mage used. The small imp creature jumped out from it's puppet and attacked the orb,

Everyone looked at the mage, not sure what to make of the result, Natsu would have made an outburst, but he knew that was a guise, although his magic was hidden very well, he could sense a very ominous magic coming from the Raven Tail mage,
"what are you doing Obra!" Flare cried out, but was immedietly silenced by Alexei,
"be quiet Flare, his magic cannot be shown in front of people" Nulpudding grinned before adding,
"he's someone that needs to be forced to get serious". Sting stepped forth and with it came the crowd's applause. The Sabertooth Dragon Slayer looked at the orb before taking in a deep breath,
'White Dragon's Roar!"

Everyone's jaws were wide open as they stared at the number in utter disbelief; Natsu grinned at the result,
"he has impressive magic power. For a human that is"
"what the hell is that?" Macao and Wakaba cried out in unison,
"well Sabertooth is the number one guild for a reason" Romeo said,
"for now" Mavis added to the boys statement who blinked at her,
"uh, right, for now"
"but still, that power level is impressive" Lily said,
"Natsu can definitely top that" Happy responded,
"well he's in a whole different league, it's unfair to use him as a comparison" Carla retorted.
"Next up is Lyon of Lamia Scale"
"Ice Make, Snow Dragon!" a massive dragon formed and rushed towards the orb crushing into it,

Lyon looked satisfied with himself as he was able to top the Sabertooth mage. Gray looked at the result, grinning he then proceeded to do some stretches,
"amazing! We are truly lucky to have two mages who possesses such superb power" Chapati announced, "will Gray be able to top it?"
"can I top it?" Gray repeated as he stepped forth, "I almost feel insulted" he released a tremendous amount of magical power, one that almost rivaled Natsu's,
"Frost Art, Dance of the Infinite" and in a blink of an eye thousands of icicles appeared out of nowhere and had the orb completely surrounded, with a click of his finger the icicles struck it,

Gray raised his fist in triumph as he grinned at the cheering audience,
"as expected of Gray-sama!" Juvia finally said, having remained relatively quiet for the past few days, she was finally able to cheer for her beloved one,
"that chilling aura, no doubt he's learnt how to master True Ice" Mavis whispered to herself so no one could hear,
"Fairy Tail A earns eight points! It is a one, two finish for them; nobody can stop Fairy Tail now!" Chapati cried out.
Natsu had returned to his team who all congratulated him,
"that was amazing Natsu" Lisanna praised,
"agreed, you definitely put on quite the show" Laxus said, Natsu grinned,
"haha, I know right, I was pretty awesome" he put his hands on his hips before laughing, "that should show everyone how awesome Fairy Tail is!"
"I think it only made people think how amazing you were Natsu" Lisanna said, Natsu turned to her,
"you think?" he got into a thinking position, "maybe I should have dragged Gray in with me, that'll show everyone Fairy Tail's power"
"with Gray's display just now, I'm pretty sure he managed to show Fairy Tail's potential without having to jump into that fight with you my king" Wendy said, everyone nodded sagely,
"agreed, he certainly showed them" Natsu responded, "he's managed to master True Ice in a fairly short time. I'm impressed"
"what is True Ice?" Lisanna asked,
"it's an ancient form of Ice magic that utilizes the magic power in the air as it's medium, because it uses such raw magic, the ice Gray can create is essentially indestructible, and allows him to freeze magic itself" Laxus and Lisanna were once again stunned by Natsu's explanation. Natsu looked at the Lacrima screen as it showed the results of Pandemonium

"of course we are!" Natsu answered Chapati's rhetorical question, he looked to the member of his team, "but I wonder if I can get another match today?"
"you just fought yesterday" Gajeel pointed out,
"yeah well that Oda guy got to fight twice"
"it's Orga, Natsu" Lisanna corrected,
"Oda, Orga. Same thing" the rest of Natsu's team merely sighed. Chapati announced the first match of the day,
"the first battle will be between Fairy Tail's Laxus Dreyer and Raven Tail's Alexei!"
