Ch. 21 The Battle of the Century! Tybalt vs Duke!
Ch. 20 Review (George P.O.V)
Alyssa has been going off on her own lately and has been one of the dark crest holders all along. Luckily, I was able to revive our friendship and she decided to work on our team as a spy who would infiltrate the Dark Army HQ and find out some details. Sadly, because she joined our side she last Lilithmon. After she told the story on how this all happened she rescued the real Tybalt from the HQ and taught him some tricks to keep him alive. After that the team regrouped back at Valley Zone like they said they would and Reyn was reunited with his brother. Duke is on is way though towards them and he doesn't seem like the friendly type
Ch. 21 George P.O.V
Oh man I totally forgot to tell Alyssa about how we were working on a way to counter the X-Antibody so that if Alex decides to work with more humans with the X-Antibody there would be a way to extract it from them. It was about 8:00 at night and I was near the high school and the other middle and elementary school as well since they put all the schools close together. While walking closer to the elementary school since it was the only way out of the district there was police tape everywhere and two bikes both bent out of shape with clothes on the floor even their underwear, shoes, and all. The confused me a lot unless some child molester came and took these two children. These clothes have been here for a while at least 5 hours since that's what this watch says and it looks broken. When I got closer into the crime scene I noticed someone I knew. This is Michelle's dad the police chief. It looked like he knew whose clothes those belong to…. Wait aren't those the clothes Misty wore and the smaller clothes next to him must be her brothers of course! That must mean these two are in the digital world right now. When looking deeper I saw Sarah was also here and I could tell what she was thinking. We both nodded and we headed towards D.S.S on our way.
"George do you know what happened over there. I bet it has something to do with the digital world," said Sarah.
"Yeah I think Misty and her brother are the next digidestined. How much space can the digital world handle? Any more digidestined and the whole place might just implode due to the amount of excess people that are in there," I said to Sarah with concern.
"Yeah that's why we should go to D.S.S. so we can see what they think. Michelle is already there we should meet up with the adults," explained Sarah. We arrived at D.S.S. and Michelle was there along with two more people a man and a woman about Jamie's Uncle Thomas is.
"Oh you guys must be Sarah and George. My name is Tristan Auburn and this is my wife," said Tristan, "you may know our daughter Misty and our son Rytlock."
"I know your daughter but not that much your son," said Sarah.
"Enough with the chit-chat this is important," said Harry, "the amount of people and digimon in this area of the digital world is increasing greatly and we can't add any more people to it. We're reaching the limit of space the digital world can hold. These X-Antibodies take up a lot of space."
"Agreed," said Michael, "we're almost done with the X-Antibody counter we just need a little more time."
"Good, an intense battle is about to start in the digital world and it's gonna be pretty flashy. Duke is on his way over to Valley Zone and Tybalt is over there as well," said Andrew Mains.
"So what are we supposed to do?" I asked.
"Just wait," said Jerry Masterson, "there's nothing we can do about this fight. We'll just have to hope Tybalt can hold Duke long enough so that this X-Antibody extractor starts to work properly."
"I guess you're right," said Sarah, "I hope Tybalt wins without our help, it'd make it a lot easier on you guys and us." Everyone looked at each other and things started to get serious as time ticked down until the prototype for the first X-Antibody extractor is complete and ready for use.
"How long till it's done?" asked Michelle seriously? I've never heard her talk that seriously before about anything at all.
"It's gonna be about an hour but in the digital world that could be a few hours," said Michael.
How are we gonna get this to them?" asked Sarah.
"Someone is gonna have to either go in or we can send it remotely as data and send it to their digivice," said Thomas.
"We'll have to do the second option so we can hold the data limit down some," said Mr. Masterson.
"Okay now we have a game plan but now it's time for us to wait for something to happen," said Andrew.
"Wait a minute, Mr. Auburn did you know your kids are in the digital world right now?" I asked.
"They are, that means the Allsbound Crest is in the digital world as well," said Mr. Auburn.
"Is the bad?" asked Michelle.
"Yes, that crest could turn the whole world upside down or worse. Mr. Guike had hard time controlling the powers at 16 years old do you know how hard it'll be for Rytlock at 10," said Mrs. Auburn.
"He's a strong boy he can handle that crest I bet," said Mr. Auburn.
"Are you crazy he's just a kid!?" asked everyone.
"I believe in him. I know he can do it easily because he's one of those happy-go-lucky kids that no matter what you do to them he'll always smile at one point. If he ever gets depressed he's back up in about 3 minutes. He never falls and I'm sure this crest won't stop him," explained Mr. Auburn
"You are right, he does manage to get up easily," said Mrs. Auburn, "I hope your right honey."
"Don't worry I believe in him, he can do it. No doubt he'll master that crest," said Mr. Auburn filled with hope and inspiration as we continued waiting for the prototype to finish.
***Jamie P.O.V***
In the middle of the Valley Zone with only one tree for a couple miles and the forest surrounds us. What is wrong with this zone? The only part with trees are outside the actual valley except for this one tree the rest of the valley is a clearing and I feel that Duke will be able to find us easily right here.
"Hey Tybalt my name is Rytlock and this is Drake, we're you're in class hey!" Said Rytlock to Tybalt.
"You know what he meant," said Drake, "anyway I want you to be our friend's kay."
"I…I never had a friend before," said Tybalt shyly and his hat dropped below his eyes.
"It's easy all you gotta do is be with us and stick close and talk," said Drake.
"Yeah having friends is really fun," said Rytlock. Tybalt lifted his eyes so he was looking at Drake and Rytlock and hugged them both.
"You guys are great thanks," said Tybalt. Rytlock and Drake blushed a little because they were embarrassed. It's great to see them become friends so quickly then Markel came over next to me and I guess we were about to start a serious conversation.
"You know Duke is coming over soon, I don't know if Tybalt is ready to fight him I mean he just got his digimon," said Markel concerned.
"Yeah I guess you are right," I agreed with Markel, "what're we supposed to do then only Tybalt can touch Duke so I can't fight him only Tybalt can."
"Yeah but that doesn't mean you can't fight Tactimon," clarified Markel. He wants me and Shoutmon to fight Tactimon. It seems easy enough.
"I could probably do that, I really want that sword he has though. It's supposed to be the most powerful sword in the whole digital world even stronger than the Alforce sword and in order to get it I have to beat him. Shoutmon, looks like we're up against General Tactimon," I said.
"Sweet, I can't wait to burn him into a crisp," said Shoutmon pumped up and ready.
"Glad you're up to it," I said looking at him smirking.
"Why wouldn't I be?" asked Shoutmon as he smirked back. Markel went over to talk to Tybalt who was still talking to Drake and Rytlock and intervened in their conversation.
"Tybalt, you're about to go up against one of the strongest people in the digital world to date," said Markel, "Are you up for it?"
"I… I don't know," said Tybalt honestly and a little timid.
"It's okay to be scared but just know that we got your back alright. Your brother and your new friends always got your back. I'm not going to let anything bad happen to you and your brother isn't going to allow it either," said Markel.
"You sure?" asked Tybalt.
"Positive," said Markel and Reyn.
"All right then I'll do it," said Tybalt confidently.
"Remember you aren't alone," said Drake
"Yeah, we're here too," said Rytlock. After saying that Duke was seen flying by and touched down onto the clearing.
"Guys Tybalt and Jamie have this alright the rest of us can look for some other fragments," said Jayden.
"Great idea, we'll split up as soon as we get out of the zone. Be careful Jamie, you too Tybalt," said Markel and the rest of them left.
"I got this, Tybalt if I'm done early then I'll come and help you," I said to Tybalt assuring his safety. Alright I have my sword but it's not going to be big enough if I fight against Tactimon and he starts growing. What I have Mary's Starmon and Pickmon how did they get in my fusion loader? Who cares now, at least I'll have something to use if I have to Biomerge with Shoutmon.
Well hello I don't think I've met you two before," said Duke nonchalantly as he walked up to me and Tybalt fancily and calm, "but enough of the chit-chat-"
"Just what I was about to say," I said to Duke making him a tad angry for interrupting him.
"Glad to see we're on the same page," said Duke, "anyway Tactimon looks like this human is here to fight you. You should be able to snap her like a toothpick."
"The only one whose gonna get snapped like a toothpick is you Duke," I said.
"Oooh a nice comeback by Jamie," said Duke sarcastically.
"I don't use my good comebacks on lackeys like you. All you do is follow Alex's very command you're practically his bitch, you have no mind of your own and if you think I'm gonna go down easy you got another thing coming," I said.
"Yeah Duke get ready to fight," said Tybalt as best as he could without wavering.
"So the little dweeb thinks he can take me down," said Duke laughing, "I can't wait to pummel you into the ground."
"There won't be a ground when I'm done with you, I guess," said Tybalt unconfidently.
"Just leave the burns to me alright Tybalt," I said to him.
"Yeah, you're right," said Tybalt. Duke ran fist first towards Tybalt that has been powered up with dark magic. This kid has about as much fighting style as Tybalt, they're both novices. Alright then let's go.
"Starmon, Pickmons Super-evolve…. Superstarmon and RainbowPickmons," said Starmon and the Pickmon.
"Now Digi-Xros… The Rainbow Star Sword," they said and I grabbed the sword it felt light and it was strong at the same time. It's probably better than the blade I use now plus as an added bonus it shines the color of the rainbow bright and full of hope just like our team United Soul is supposed to give to all of the digimon that have been captured and detained by the Black Army hope and something to dream about. I'll use this sword and the sword I'm about to get from Tactimon and it'll be a blast. Tactimon rushed in with his sword sheathed still and I sliced his sword right in the middle blocking it and it created a shockwave behind both of us. How did we do that even though his sword is still sheathed? This time I cut the air around me to warm-up a little more and a projectile came flying out of the sword which Tactimon dodged but it hit the only tree in the clearing and chopped it in half. This also surprised me, this'll make everything much easier. Tactimon sliced his sword the same way and made a white projectile which cut the grass all the way across the clearing. Then I charged out at him and we started barraging at each other with attacks and blocking them as we went on. When we broke apart I slashed another projectile at him which he blocked with one of his and then I looked slightly over at Tybalt's fight. Tybalt actually wasn't doing so badly over there and his light magic really wrestles Duke's dark magic and it almost overpowers it so hopefully I shouldn't need to worry about him as much. When I turned around I noticed Tactimon got bigger and thus stronger and it was hard to block his attacks without faltering. He did one large powerful attack which I dodged and then slashed his leg causing him to fall over but he was only faking to be severely injured and hit my arm with his sword which was still sheathed so luckily I didn't bleed but it hurt a lot and started to sting.
"You aren't half bad with a sword Jamie Gredder but your gonna have to do better than that because I'm about to show you the true power of my sword," said Tactimon. He unsheathed his sword and wind blew in all directions vigorously causing the grass on the ground around him to uproot and fly in all directions. Now when he swung his sword it seemed as if the air itself was getting cut. When I dodged the shot and went back to the same place it became hard to breathe for a couple of seconds. Damn his sword cut through the oxygen in the air. Shoutmon came out of my fusion loader.
"We're gonna have to biomerge Jamie, we can get up to his height and also fight with the Rainbow Star Sword," advised Shoutmon.
"Alright then. Hey Tactimon, I hope you're ready to get a beating," I said, "Shoutmon, myself…. Digi-Xros….. BioShoutmon." When we biomerged the star sword grew larger and I sliced through the air causing a large rainbow slash to appear which he couldn't dodge in time and it made a cut on his arm. This is hopefully going to get a little better now that we have biomerged.
***Tybalt P.O.V***
Maybe I'm not as bad at this fighting stuff as I thought I was going to be. I may be taking a couple of blows but he has also taken some damage himself and when I punched him at light speed it nearly took the ground out. I can win this, I can win this.
"What makes you think you'll win this? I call this beginners luck," said Duke.
"I got friends by my side and they won't let me lose and they won't let me down," I said, "and that means I can't let them down either. Rytlock and Drake are the two only friends I have and they're counting on me to win."
Uuch! Friends, friends won't get you anything in this world only misery and suffering when they fail you," said Duke.
"Wait friends will let you down? Mine wouldn't," I said defending them.
"They'd sell you out for anything. Money, candy , you name it. It's how life goes," said Duke. I can't let these words get to my head. What would Rytlock or Drake do that I can't think of right now.
"Don't listen to this backwards clone Tybalt. Friends don't sell each other out. Sure sometimes you may fight and sometimes you may not see eye to eye but if your friendship is real then you'll accomplish anything and get past these little bumps," said Jamie as she was fighting Tactimon as BioShoutmon.
"Yeah kid, just remember we won't let you down and if any of our team was here they would do the exact same thing. We'd protect you till the end when it matters and you'd do the same for us," said Shoutmon, "because we're a team and most importantly friends and don't let creeps like him tell you any differently."
"Your right, I don't need to listen to you you wannabe me. I'll beat you here and now," I said this time with no wavering what-so-ever. I rushed at him with a ball of light in my hand and punched him in the stomach but he did the same thing to be and we were both moved back from the force that it brought. I started to breathe heavily and Duke started to also meaning we were both about to fall over.
"I've spent enough time with you kid it's time to end this right here right now!" yelled Duke and he charged up a ball of darkness that looked like it could level the whole valley. Oh man I don't know if I can beat that.
"Don't worry Tybalt, you can do it," said Kudamon, "digivolve me."
"Right! Kudamon super evolve into…. Kentaursmonn," I said followed up by Kentaursmon. Kentaursmon power up a large beam of light with his mouth and then shot it up into the air.
"Now add your light to it!" advised Kentuarsmon and that's what I did and we had a ball kind of like Duke's.
"Now hit it off instead of throwing that way it'll have more initial thrust than Duke's," said Kentuarsmon. I added and he brought up to height of the light call and I kicked as hard as I could towards Duke and he threw his towards mine and they both collided and my energy was starting to fade away. No I can't lose here, I got to push on for my friends and can't lose this or nobody will be able to fight Duke. My enery started to rise and my light ball swallowed up Duke's and it crashed into him.
"No how did I lose to someone like you!" he yelled as the light started to fade away leaving Duke scorched slightly and was breathing heavily barely able to move. Over towards the fight with BioShoutmon and Tactimon, Tactimon was pretty low to but BioShoutmon looked even more in a slump. "Jamie, Shoutmon finish up your end over there I just got Duke down," I said. They looked over and saw Duke's body and how he was unconscious on the grass.
"That's what I'm talking about," said BioShoutmon fired back up again, "looks like it's time for us to finish this as well then."
"You won't be finishing anything! Finishing Move: Final Stance Slice," said Tactimon as a large cut about three times the size of his normal projectile cut moved towards Jamie and Shoutmon. I could barely see it but it looked like Jamie teleported behind Tactimon dodging the strike.
"Finishing Move: Starburst Cross," said Jamie as she used a barrage of attacks against Tactimon and then hitting him with two projectiles in the shape of cross thus defeating Tactimon but not enough to delete him.
"Dammit! Tactimon we must retreat," said Duke as he took in Tactimon into his dark loader, "you might have won this time but next time will be a different story." When they left Jamie tried to catch up to Duke but failed but luckily Tactimon's sword was left in the grass sheathed and everything and she took it.
"Looks like we did it guys we won," she said smirking at me.
"Yeah thanks Jamie for not giving up on me," I said. Then she laughed and I was confused.
"Dude, you did that yourself. You aren't as bad and shy as you think you are alright so live life and don't be afraid because you got a rock pounding soul and it's just waiting to come out," said Jamie.
"Are you sure?" I asked Jamie and Shoutmon.
"Yeah you do buddy I can feel it. No come on let's catch up with the others and when you get over to Drake and Rytlock I want you to be the first one to say something alright. Tell them you aren't afraid anymore alright?" asked Jamie.
"Yeah!" I said.
"That's the spirit champ," she said rubbing my head, "now let's figure out where the others are."
"How are we gonna do that?" asked Shoutmon.
"We…I…I don't really know. We could search every zone until we find them," said Jamie.
"That could be very time consuming," said Kudamon, "we could try finding them with your light magic Tybalt."
"I guess I could try," I said as a started to think of Rytlock and Drake and all of the others and a portal started to open up to an area that look really up-to-date with technology and had automobiles and motorcycles.
"That looks really fun," said Jamie with a grin.
"That's the Auto Zone, it's where most of the things in the digital world are manufactured," said Shoutmon.
"Awesome we can start there," said Jamie but then something was going on in the picture and we could hear from it too.
"Stop you can't take them," said J.T. running over to where the bad guys were. Then we saw a unknown digimon with tons of MetalTyrnamon surrounding him holding Cade, Rytlock, and Drake while J.T. was trying to cut through.
"Oh yes I can and I will. They'll be wonderful factory workers and I won't even have to pay them a thing," said the unknown digimon.
"Let us go Matadormon," said Drake, "I won't help you ever."
"Yeah what he said," said Rytlock and Cade.
"Oh sweet Drake, I remember when you were on our team. Now you're coming back and your going to help us revive Breakdramon," said Matadormon, "we won't be needing you J.T. now tata." Then they left and J.T. couldn't do anything to stop them.
"Damn, Jamie's gonna kill me. No one else is here except for Mark but he traveled the other direction and he's gonna bag on me for losing the kids. I gotta find him and get me back, and I hope that Tybalt is alright," said J.T. Then he started walking back the other direction probably to meet up with Mark.
"Come on let's go with him," said Jamie and she grabbed my arm and we went through the portal and saw J.T. walking towards Mark and they started to meet up.
"What happened to Cade and the others?" asked Mark.
"They got stolen by Matadormon," said J.T.
"I don't think they're gonna get any use out of Cade so you know we gotta think of a plan," said Mark.
"You got us too," said Jamie as we both walked up next to J.T. and Mark.
"Hey you guys are back I'm going to take I guess and say you won," said Mark.
"Yeah," I said happily.
"That's good but you guys know what's going on we have to get back to whatever place that they took the three so we can take them out," said Mark.
"Great I can't wait to fight," said V-mon pumped up, "I thought this zone was going to be boring."
***Cade P.O.V***
Okay I have no idea where we are but by the looks of it we're in some sort of factory and we're dressed up in work clothes so I guess he's expecting us to work here.
"Didn't you here what he said Cade," said Kumamon, "he said he was going to make you work here while you were being captured."
"Oh yeah I forgot," I said embarrassed, "let's check and see if Rytlock and Drake are alright." After looking around I found Rytlock and Drake both asleep or unconscious still and they looked like they may stay like that for a while. Then the lights came on in only one area in the room and then Matadormon came up from a hidden area on the stage in the front of the room.
"Alright guys it's time to work, work, work and make those automobiles for the Black Army and of course you're doing this for free so let's go," said Matadormon and then he pressed a button and Rytlock and Drake woke up instantly and everyone else just started to work in an assembly line even them.
"What's going on?" they both asked, "I can't move my body from this position.
"I don't know guys but we're going to have to figure out a way to get out of this somehow," I said and started to pretend I was part of the assembly line. I hope Mark and J.T come soon.
***Tybalt P.O.V***
We started walking over in the direction of the big factory but during that time we needed think of a plan. I didn't think I could think of a plan that would be of use to us so I just stood in the back.
"All four of us could barge in and do an old standard rescue mission," said Jamie
"We can't do that, they have hostages and could easily tell us to back down," said Mark, "someone would need to free the workers first."
"I think I know what we could do," I said quietly causing them to move closer towards me making me somewhat scared and nervous.
"Kid, don't be scared alright everyone's plans are weighted equally," said J.T.
"Well not Jamie's because you know they aren't really plans," said Mark.
"I guess two people could be distractions in the front while someone takes the air and someone else goes from behind," I said quietly.
"Now that was excellent thinking Tybalt," said Mark, "if you were a little older you be the one making the plans often."
"Me I don't know," I said blushing.
"Remember what I said kid never sell yourself short alright just keep on believing in yourself and good things will happen," said Shoutmon and then Jamie nodded in agreement.
"J.T. you'll be with me in the front lines while Mark takes the air and Tybalt you'll be the one sneaking around looking for the others," said Jamie.
"Okay I'll do it," I said as confidently as possible.
"That's the spirit now you go ahead and we'll make the distraction alright," said J.T. I then waved good-be and wished them good luck and tried to find another entrance into the factory and an explosion was heard in the distance meaning Jamie and J.T. have already started to make their move on the distraction. Mark was up above looking for places to sneak in while firing arrows from his bow as well. I found an entrance all the way in the back which was a window and in that window I saw no guards so I decided to crawl into it. I was scared because I didn't know what was going to happen next. I started shaking a little and Kudamon noticed because he was on my shoulder.
"What's the matter Tybalt you scared," he said.
"No, no everything is perfectly fine," I lied while trying to lose the shaking.
"Alright then, I sense someone in that door over there," said Kudamon and I ran over to it only realizing that the door was locked but I do see lots of digimon kids including Cade, Rytlock, and Drake. I knocked on the door once and nobody looked over this way except for Cade who turned around and waved hi and told the others that I was on the other side of the door. Rytlock and Drake looked surprised but they couldn't move the rest of their bodies and I was confused. Cade tried to open the door but the door was locked. Then he took out Kumamon's Blizzard Blaster and froze the door handle and tried to open it but failed. He sighed and then used the same attack on the glass breaking it and then crawling through the window making.
"Tybalt well I'm glad to see you," said Cade. I hugged Cade and then started crying.
"I'm so happy you're alright, I was so scared and I-I thought I was gonna get caught by the guards," I said nearly crying into Cade's fur making him blush a little from embarrassment.
"I thought you said you weren't scared," said Kudamon.
"Welp I'm here now but the only way to get the others out is to cut the power and I have no idea where that is," said Cade confused, "Do you think it's in that door over there."
"Cade that door is marked bathroom," said Kudamon.
"I knew that," said Cade sheepishly, "I know if we freeze the area then the electronics could stop working and everything would stop including the thing that's making the kids in there work.
"Don't look at me he thought about this all on his own," said someone.
"What was that voice," I said scared. Then Cade patted me on the head.
"Don't worry kid it' only Kumamon," said Cade, "he's usually the one that tries to help me clear away from making stupid mistakes."
"Ah," said Tybalt, "anyway if we just make it colder your plan will work."
"Yeah, I'll use the blizzard blaster and throw on some ice magic and it should be done in no time at all," said Cade. We started doing this plan all across the whole factory and we split up to do so. I then found the thermostat and changed it to the coolest temperature on there was possible. With this all done it seemed as if the whole place was covered in snow and ice. When we went back to that work room the door was barged open and everyone was fleeing away. Then we saw Drake and Rytlock and they over to say hi after Cade meet back up with me.
"You did it Tybalt you Duke beat, I mean you beat Duke," said Rytlock smiling.
"Yeah man thumbs up," said Drake.
"Thanks guys you're the best, now let's leave this place before anyone notices what happened," I said and then we started to leave the factory which was still freezing cold. Jamie met up with us near the entrance of the factory , sword still out and fighting.
"I'm glad you guys are out but now we have to beat this guy," said Jamie.
"We'll help," said the rest of them as we went out wondering what it was Jamie and J.T. were fighting.

Tybalt: Looks like things got a little rough outside and that's why things were so quiet inside. Looks like Matadormon took matters into his own hands.
Drake: And it looks like Rytlock isn't all too happy about it either but hopefully he'll control his anger and not let it get the best of him
Cade: Yeah but don't worry he won't not with me around. Next Episode:
