Last time: When they came back on he wasn't there and neither was the woman in the front row.

The Doctors booming voice echoed throughout the room, "I'm not a phantom."

"Doctor?" Manton questioned.

"I'm not a trick." The Doctor continued.

"Doctor?" Manton said again.

"I'm a monk." He said a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Doctor show yourself." Manton said into open air.

"It's him! He's here! It's him!" One of the soldiers screamed pointing his gun at one of the monks. The monks armed themselves with their swords. A soldier fired and a monk fell. "Weapons down! Do not fire!" He screamed, A monk shot a soldier and Manton screamed, "No!" Chaos ensued as more shots were fired. "Doctor!" Manton screamed, hell-bent on finding him. "Doctor!" He screamed again. As more shots were fired, he tried to give orders. "Do not fire." he said, calmly. "Nobody discharge their weapon in this room. Nobody! Do not fire." In the middle of the room Lorna was looking around for the Doctor. As she turned she noticed a monk standing by an exit. It's hand shot out and held a glowing silver pen-like thing towards the door. The door opened and the monk left. Lorna made her way through the crowd of soldiers and followed. "Stop. Wait. Listen to me. I am disarming my weapon pack." Manton said calmly. He had his gun in the air with his finger off the trigger. He disarmed his gun, "Monks I do this in good faith. I am now unarmed." he said, placing his pack on the floor. "All of you, discharge your weapon packs. The Doctor is trying to make fools of us. We are soldiers of god. We are not fools. We are not fools." Manton started to chant. Soon he had the whole army disarming their packs and chanting the phrase, 'We are not fools.'

As the army chanted the phrase Silurians beamed in surrounding the army. Judoons appeared as well. Commander Strax appeared by Colonel Manton, holding him at gunpoint. "This base is now under our command." He

"I have a fleet out there. If Demon's Run goes down, there's an automatic distress call." Manton said, threateningly.

Suddenly the Doctor's voice boomed over the intercom, "Not if we knock out your communications array. And you've got incoming." He warned, slight amusement in his voice.

"Danny Boy to the Doctor. Danny Boy to the Doctor." The pilot called.

"Give em' hell Danny Boy." The Doctor answered, zipping around in a circle with his arms outstretched like a plane.

~Forward In Time~

Control Room...

Strax marched Manton into the Control room at gunpoint. "All airlocks sealed. Resistance neutralised." He stated. Nobody had noticed the woman cleric that had followed them quietly through the hallway. She held back at the corner so no one would see her but she could still hear the conversation.

"Sorry Colonel Manton. I lied. Three mintues forty two seconds." The Doctor said, smiling and pointing at him.

"Colonel Manton, you will give the order for your men to withdraw." Strax stated.

"No. Colonel Manton, I want you to tell your men to run away." The Doctor said, a dark smile in place.

"You what?" Manton questioned.

"Those words. Run away. I want you to be famous for those exact words. I want people to call you Colonel Run Away. I want children laughing outside your door, because they've found the house of Colonel Run Away. And, when people come to you, and ask if trying to get to me through the people I love," The Doctor screamed. Madame Vastra hissed at the Doctor. "is in any way a good idea, I want you to tell them your name. Oh, look, I'm angry. That's new. I'm really not sure what's going to happen now." The Doctor said with a smile.

The woman down the hall frowned. This was not the Doctor she knew. She heard footsteps coming down the hall and braced herself. She saw two men cleric soldiers walk past her and then she saw a woman with a gun. Immediately she grabbed the woman and put a hand over her mouth. She forced the gun out of her hand and held her there. She turned toward the other two men and made her eyes glow gold, "Get out of here." She said threateningly. They ran away almost tripping over their own feet.

In the control room, Colonel Manton had just given the order for his men to run away and some Silurians were marching them out when Vastra hissed again. "What?" The Doctor asked, looking at her.

"Jenny." She said simply before bolting down the hall. She didn't have to run very far. She only made it down to the first corner when she saw Jenny with a hand against her mouth. She was struggling to get it off and Vastra used her tongue to stun whoever was holding her like that. The person gasped and let her go. She fell to the floor and her hat fell off her head. Jenny ran forward and hugged Vastra. "Are you alright? She didn't hurt you did you?" Vastra asked looking over her.

"No I'm fine. Thank you." Jenny said, pulling back.

The Doctor was right behind them and as he caught up he looked down at the person who had fallen, "Ow." The woman said, sitting up. "Was that really necessary?" She asked as she rubbed her hand.

Vastra and Jenny had their swords out and were pointing them at her. The Doctor raised his hands to stop them. "Rose?" The Doctor questioned.

"In the flesh." She said standing up. She decided to give up on correcting people about her name.

"You know this woman?" Vastra asked.

"I'm his..." Rose trailed off, unsure of what she should call herself. "Girlfriend? I guess would be the word." She said, scratching the back of her head. "Sorry about holding you here." She said, gesturing to Jenny, "I needed to stay hidden." Jenny didn't reply. "Let's go get Amy yeah?" She asked, turning to the Doctor.

"Yeah." He said walking down the hall and leaving the everybody else to do what they had planned. After running down many corridors they finally found Amy's prison. The Doctor looked in, "Urgh. Kissin and crying. I'll, I'll be back in a bit." He said. Rose smiled.

"Oi, you. Get in here, now." Rory ordered.

The Doctor jumped down and Rose stood in the doorway, "What about me? Am I allowed in Centurion?" She asked.

They both laughed, "Yah, Professor. Come in."

"Actually Rory... Call me Rose." She said with a fond smile.

"Alright then Rose. It seems if the Doctor is here then you will be too so." Rory trailed off. He looked back down at Melody. "My daughter. What do you think?"

Rose ran in and looked at the baby, "She's beautiful." She muttered. She felt tears at the corner of her eyes and she walked towards the window. No one could see her crying right now.

"Hello. Hello, baby." The Doctor said awkwardly.

"Melody." Amy corrected.

"Melody? Hello, Melody Pond." The Doctor said, smiling.

"You look cute kitten." Rose said smiling. The Doctor blushed at his nickname and continued to stare at the baby.

"Actually Melody Williams." Rory tried to correct.

"Is a geography teacher. Melody Pond is a superhero." Amy said.

" Well yes, I suppose she does smell nice. Never really sniffed her. Maybe I should give it a go. Amelia Pond come here." The Doctor said, carrying out a conversation with what appeared to be no one.

"Doctor." Amy said, hugging him back.

The Doctor turned his head and sniffed. "I'm sorry we were so long," He said.

"It's ok. I knew you were coming. Both of you. My boys." Amy said, wiping tears out of her eyes.

Rose stepped back and admired the moment. She felt tears prick in the corner of her eyes as she recalled what River had told her. She knew she couldn't do anything but god right now she wished she could. She couldn't be here. She couldn't be here to watch something like this happen but she knew if she left it would create suspicion. So she settled on staring out the window.

"It's okay. She's still all yours. And really, you should call her mummy, not big milk thing." The Doctor said, again talking to nobody.

Amy shot him a look, "Okay, what are you doing?" She asked.

"I speak baby." He said without missing a beat.

"No you don't." She stated.

"I speak everything, don't I, Melody Pond." He paused. "No it's not. It's cool." He said, straightening his bowtie.

"Doctor?" Madame Vastra said as she walked into the room. She leaned on the railing and stared out the huge window, "Take a look. They're leaving." The Doctor approached the window, standing next to Rose. "Demon's Run is ours without a drop of blood spilled. My friend you have never risen higher." Vastra said in awe.

Rory stared at the Doctor with a peculiar expression on his face while Rose looked away. She was staring down at the retreating soldiers trying to compose herself as she tried to forget about the events that were going to happen in the next few minutes.
