(Halloween Day)

The group met outside school and talked about the Halloween party their having.

"Can't wait for tonight" Zoe squealed. "Yeah, it's going to be fun" Dan said.

"Wait, so why aren't we going to the disco like every other students here?" Kevin asked.

"We thought it'd be more fun with just us lot" Dan said.

"Hey guys. Dan" Melissa greeted while jumping in the middle of Dan and Zoe. They greeted back awkwardly. Kevin stared at her and cocked his head to the side.

"You have a crush on Dan" he simply said. Everyone went rigid.

"What? Who told you that? Like that would happen. Did Zoe tell you, did you-" she said the last part looking at Zoe, she shook her head.

"Anyway I'm not in love with Dan, he has Zoe, which is just great" she rambled on.

"Melissa, I think everyone knows" Kevin told. "You haven't even met me."

"Just face it. You're in love with Dan but he and Zoe are together and that's killing you" Kevin told. Melissa ran away with a red face.

"How can you tell?" Zoe asked. "Well, I just looked at her, noticed a few things, scanned her quickly and it all matched up in my head, and it's easy to notice."

"I didn't notice" said Ben and Zoe. "I have a theory for that, but I can't explain it" Kevin told.

"Anyway, back to learning" Tom said as he started walking to school.

"Oh, Kevin" Zoe said while grabbing his shoulder. "Should we see Mr. Flatly again?"

"Oh, yeah. We'll see you at brake" Kevin told.

"Oh, okay" they all said as they went their separate ways in the corridor.

"Hey, Kevin, Zoe!" Melissa called as she ran to them.

"Yeah Melissa?" Zoe asked. "Sorry Melissa. For embarrassing you" Kevin apologized.

"Oh, you didn't embarrass me. About you two" she trailed off.

"What about us?" Kevin asked. "Almost every time I see you, you're together. Are you two an item?"

"What?! No!" Zoe told, "no offense Kevin" she turned to him. His eyes were glowing.

"Eye contacts?" Melissa asked.

"No, I'm actually a flame power that has now taken over Kevin and is in love with Zoe but also hurt her earlier this week. Kevin's crush has dumped him because she went to the dark side and Zoe and the group are agents and lone agents. Of course their eye contacts Melissa."

Zoe sniffed a bit, a burnt scent came across her nose. She held in a gasp.

"Anyway. We're not an item. He is now single. I am with Dan. Now if you'll excuse us, we have to go the Mr. Flatly's" Zoe told as she pushed Flame along.

"See you in a bit then" she smiled and skipped off.

"What the hell" she told. "Sorry, I had to try, to see what she'd say. I'll go now."

"Kevin?" "I'm back baby" he smiled as he laughed after.

"Let's go" she told as they went up to the office.

"Um, Mr. Flatly. Can you help us?" Zoe asked innocently.

"On what Zoe, Kevin?" He asked.

"Well, in Chemistry, or any lesson. We've found it hard to pay attention because a lot has been goon on and we've been, sort of, daydreaming about these things and not exactly paying attention." Kevin told.

"Oh, is there any way you cannot daydream?" He asked. "Not exactly. It's like we can't control it" Kevin said.

"Mm, okay. And this is the same with you Zoe?" "Yes, sir" she said.

"So you want catch up?" He asked. "Um, we were wondering if you could send us the work on paper and we could do it in our spare time. If we have any" Kevin suggested.

"Um, sure. What have you got now?" He asked. "Music" Zoe said.

"Okay. I'll sort that out. Are you two going to the Halloween disco tonight?"

"Um, no. I don't particularly like discos. I'm staying home. So is Zoe" he lied.

"Okay. Get on to class, I'll write you a note of why your late" he told, then he held a note out.

"Thanks Headmaster" Kevin thanked, so did Zoe as they quickly left to Music.

The day was going fast, everyone was excited for tonight. After endless sayings of why the small group weren't going to the schools Halloween disco. It started to annoy them. At one point they almost yelled at Ruby for asking them. Then they actually yelled at Rachel, only to get told off by Mr. McNab.

"Sorry, sir" they all said in a huff. Instead of explaining that they don't like disco's, which was a lie, they just cut it down short saying, "we're just not going, alright".

Once third lesson was over, it was lunch.

"Now the day's going slower" Ben groaned. "Yeah" Dan sighed.

After they had lunch the bell rang. So the gang went to their fourth lesson. Math with Mr. Smith.

"Now class, I know tonight is the school Halloween disco so we're going to have a nice, calm lesson today" he told.

"Now, get your books out and go on page one-hundred-twenty-three and do exercises 1-5." He said as he went to his computer.

"Um, Zoe, do you know what to do?" Kevin whispered, she shook her head.

"You've got to go on page one-hundred-twenty-three and complete exercises 1-5" Dan told.

"Oh, thanks Dan" they thanked. "Why aren't you two paying attention?"

"Um, well. You k-" Kevin got interrupted by music playing, it was "Rescue Me" from "You Me At Six Ft. Chiddy".

"This will only be on if you do your work" Mr. Smith told.

They all nodded and got back on to the work. Once everyone finished, they talked about tonight.

"So, what music are we gonna have?" Kevin asked. "Oh you know, Halloween music. Did Melissa come to you two?" Ben asked.

"Oh, yeah. She asked us what we were doing. And if we were an item" Kevin mumbled the last part.

"You're not are you?" Dan asked worriedly. "Of course not" they protested, not meaning to be mean.

"1 lesson to go" Aneisha said excitedly. "Yeah" the agreed smiling.

The bell rang for the last lesson of the day. Everyone ran out the door.

Now was History with Miss. Oswald.

"Hello class. This lesson is going to be an easy lesson. So everyone take your seats" Miss. Oswald told.

"We are going to finish the 1st World War Journal. I hope that you all finish today." She told. Zoe panicked.

"Um, do any of you know anything about this?" Zoe asked.

"Yeah, don't you?" Kevin replied as Dan and Ben were quickly writing comparing they are not almost finished.

"Not exactly" she said timidly, a bit ashamed.

"It's alright Zoe. The 1st World War was-" Kevin got interrupted.

"Kevin, I know you're knew here but can you not talk when you're meant to be doing a task?" She asked cheerfully.

"Sorry miss. Zoe was stuck" Kevin apologized.

"Oh, Zoe what's wrong?" Miss. Oswald asked as she kneeled down by her side.

"Um. I don't exactly know about the 1st World War miss. And I haven't been in school the last few days. Specially when we had History" she explained.

"What about in the times when you were in school?" She asked.

"I was homeschooled and I didn't really know that much about history besides the Tudors and Battle Of Hastings, miss" she explained.

"Oh, okay. Come with me in the spare room so I can explain" Miss. Oswald told.

"Okay" Zoe said as she collected her things and followed the teacher.

"Okay, the 1st World War was when the Britis-" Miss. Oswald carried on explaining. It took half the lesson to explain it to her.

"Oh, I think I get it now. Thank you miss" Zoe smiled. She was a little bit confused with it, but she got the hang of it.

"What happens if I don't finish?" Zoe asked.

"Would you be able to stay behind, just for five minutes?" She asked. "yes."

The bell rang for the end of school. Zoe didn't finish. She was quite worried.

"Zoe, can I see you?" Miss. Oswin asked. Zoe nodded as she walked her way.

"Who's gonna wait for her?" Tom asked. "I sadly can't, I need to convince my dad to let me come tonight." Dan said.

"I will" Kevin said as he hung outside the door waiting. The rest of the gang left.

"Kevin, if you want you can come in" Miss. Oswald said, Kevin nodded and walked towards them.

"Waiting for Zoe?" "Yes, miss" Kevin replied.

"So, next week can you come to me at brake so I can help you?" She asked.

"Yes miss" Zoe said with a smile, she then turned to Kevin. "Can you remind me Kevin?"

"Sure" he smiled. She thanked him.

"That's all" Miss. Oswald said. "Have a nice day" she waved. They waved back.

"You understand the 1st World War now?" Kevin asked. "Yeah, I think so" she smiled.

"What about the 2nd?" He asked. "There's a 2nd?!"

"Yeah, you practically learn about that before you learn about the first" he stated.

"It happened in 1930 'till 1942 or something. Hitler and the Jewish people. We'll tell Clara on Monday" Kevin told.

"Clara?" Zoe asked. "Yes?" Miss. Oswald asked as she walked towards them.

"How do you know my name?" She asked.

"Oh, a guess I suppose. Doctor Who, you know" Kevin lied.

"Ah, yes. I get that a lot" she smiled.

"See you on Monday Miss. Oswald!" Kevin called as he dragged Zoe away with him.

"Why'd you of that?" Zoe asked. "Let's just get down to HQ."

"Agh" he stopped. "Kevin?" Zoe asked. "Ugh, nothing, now. Let's get down to HQ. Now!"

"Alright" she said.

(Two hours later)

"Can't wait for tonight" Kevin said excitedly.

"Yes, it will be fun" Flame said with a snicker. "Don't try anything" Kevin growled in thought.

"Don't worry, I'm not coming out to ruin it or anything. For Zoe's sake." He smiled.

"Yeah, about that. Since when did you start having feelings for h-" Kevin's thought got interrupted by Zoe jumping next to him with a big smile on her face.

"What ya thinking so hard about?" She asked childishly.

"Hehe, you gonna tell?" "Actually, it was technically about you."

"Really? We're you having a conversation with Flame?" She asked.

"Yeah, he promised he wouldn't come out to ruin the party, for your sake" Kevin smiled.

"Well, if he can hear me, thank you Flame" she smiled. Flame blushed.

Kevin held in a laugh but couldn't keep in a small chuckle. Zoe looked at him confused.

"What?" She asked as she cocked her head to the side.

"He blushed" Kevin chuckled. "Aw, sweet" she giggled.

"What ya giggling about?" Aneisha asked. "Nothing important" Zoe told.

"Aw, please tell me" she whined.

"What ya think Flame?" Kevin asked. "I thought they didn't know that I love Zoe. So if you tell her, she'll know" he smirked.

"Sorry, can't. Wait till all this is over" Kevin told. Aneisha pouted, but nodded.

"How long is it until the Halloween Party?" Aneisha asked.

"Well, it's 16:40 now, and it doesn't start until 19:30. So in about, 2 hours and 10 minutes, or something." Kevin told.

"Yay" she smiled.
