Chapter twenty five-I am a father?!
Yagari Touga just arrived there after he finished all his missions when he sense two vampires in Kaien Cross private quarters. One presence is Zero and another one is someone he had meet before. Maybe a doctor since Zero can stand being around it. He enter the house when he hear Zero's screaming and a few minutes later, the doctor walk out from the house. He doesn't pay any attention to the doctor even though it's the one who treat Zero right now. Vampire is still a vampire. When he hear Zero's screaming about he is getting pregnant, Yagari Touga tensed.
"What did you mean that you are pregnant? And you are pregnant the child of the bloodsucking bastard?" A sudden voice makes them all startled. Everyone turn around to look at Yagari Touga who just arrived there. Yagari Touga really look so mad. This is bad.
"Yagari-sensei," Zero startled. His face is so pale when he saw Yagari there.
"Touga…. Please, listen to us first,"say Kaien Cross. He is so nervous when he saw Yagari. Especially when Yagari hear what he should not know for now.
"Listen to what? I have hear enough. I want to know, it is true?" ask Yagari Touga. He glare at Zero who sit on the floor now.
"The doctor says so. Zero is pregnant. He confirm it already," say Kaien Cross while he give the envelope to his friend.
Yagari Touga take it roughly and open it. He read it. Even though he doesn't really know how to read that report, he still can read that it is true that Zero is pregnant. The result is positive. He grit his teeth. He throw the envelop on the floor.
"How can you get pregnant?" ask Yagari Touga. "You are a boy. So how? Answer me!" yell him at Zero. He won't satisfied if he don't get the answer right now.
Zero glare at his master. He stands up and looks at his master straight eyes to eyes. He don't lie so he don't scared at all. "I am a boy, indeed. So I don't really know how the hell I can get pregnant. Especially with a bloodsucking monster child. No way in hell I will have sex with one of them. It must be a mistake! I am a boy!" yell Zero while he rip open his shirt. His shirt rip apart and his snowy-white pale skin are showing to all eyes in the living room to see. Indeed, he is a boy. His chest it flat, just like his stomach. Which part in his bodies showing that he is a girl?
Yuuki's face hot. Oh my god! Zero indeed is a boy and he is so damn sexy! She feels like she want to fainted.
"Are you satisfied enough?" ask Zero. He folded his hand on his chest. He feels uncomfortable to showing his body actually but he doesn't have a choice. He glare at everyone. Dare them to deny that he is a boy.
"Yes, you are a boy. But… what the hell with this report? The result is positive," say Yagari Touga. He can sense that his student tell him the truth. This result can't be fake.
"We suspected that it is Zero's kidnapper. He must be the one who did this to Zero when Zero is missing in one month. He must do something weird to Zero. I will do some research to find the truth," say Kaien Cross while he grit his teeth. His eyes glimmer dangerously. No one. He means no one can do this to his beloved son. He won't forgive Zero's kidnapper for touching his son.
"I will kill him," say Yagari Touga. Now his hatred and anger toward that kidnapper is enough to make him blow up all the school ground.
"No, he is mine to kill," say Zero suddenly. "I will kill him slowly. I will slice open his stomach, tear apart his lung and feed him his own heart." Zero says darkly and his eyes flashing with the red color. Everyone and even Yagari Touga is silent when they hear that.
"Kaname-sama, I am here," greet the doctor when he arrived at the Moon Dormitory. He bowed at the pureblood vampire when he enter Kaname's study room. He glance at Kaname's inner circles who gather in that room.
"Good. I guess, you have bring the result to me," say Kaname while he drink his blood wine. He look at the doctor. Waiting for the answer when he saw the doctor look at his friends. He smile a little. "Don't worry, you can trust them," say Kaname while he take another sip. He imagines that it was Zero's blood that he drinks. It must be perfect.
"I understand, Kaname-sama." Bowed the doctor. He should not doubt Kaname's decision. He give Kaname the brown envelope just like what he give Zero earlier. Maybe Kaname should read it himself before he tell anything more.
"What is the doctor doing here, Kaname?" ask Takuma weird. He tilted his head a little. He know that the doctor come to treat Zero, but why must he come here? Kaname maybe had order him to do something. He look at Kaname who open the envelope slowly. He's more curious now.
"Yeah, Kaname-sama," interrupt Aidou like usual.
"I order him to do something for me. I want to know Zero's condition so I order him to come here," say Kaname without look at his friends. He more interested with the report in his hand. He read the report slowly. His frowned when he read it. It is true? It must be kidding!
"It is true?" ask Kaname nervous and curious is blending in together in his heart.
"Yes, Kaname-sama. It's positive," say the doctor calmly.
"But… how can this happen? He is a boy. Nonsense!" it's too hard for Kaname to believe. His indifferent mask fall off for awhile.
Everyone startled to see Kaname's reaction. This is the first time they saw Kaname like this. What had happened to Zero to make Kaname look like this?
"Yeah, it's hard to believe but it is the truth. I make the test myself using his blood a few times but the result is still the same," say the doctor.
"What is going on here? What are you talking about?" ask Takuma. He wants to know. It's not just him but all of them what to know what is going on here.
"Read this." Kaname give the report to Takuma. It's so hard for him to talk about it himself.
Takuma and all of them read the report together. When they know the truth, Aidou is the first one to gasp. "What the hell is this? Kiryuu is pregnant?" ask Aidou out loud. All of them startled. Really? But how? They saw with their own eyes that Zero is a boy. So, he can't be pregnant!
"Sadly, that is the truth. Zero Kiryuu is definitely pregnant. So he can't stress himself or he will faint again," say the doctor.
Kaname is still silent. He still can't digest the truth that he learns today about Zero. How can Zero get pregnant? He is a boy. Kaname is so sure about it because he and Zero have had sex two times. Suddenly he froze. He and Zero have had sex! And Zero has said that Kaname is his first! So that's mean…. No way! That's not the truth, right? Kaname can feel that his heart beat so fast and loud. Maybe someone can hear him. He look at the doctor when he remember something.
"What is Kiryuu's reaction?" ask Kaname a little bit nervous.
The doctor sighed. "He's mad. Really mad. He says that he can't be pregnant because he never had sex before. But Yuuki-kun said that Kiryuu can't remember what had happen to him when he get kidnapped before. So they conclude that Kiryuu's kidnapper must do something to Kiryuu when he kidnap him. He must have been raped," say the doctor.
Kaname eyebrows twitched. "Raped?" ask him a little bit furious. Zero said that he is Zero's first. So no way Zero had been rape. Is that mean he is the one who rape Zero? No, no, no! It's not him who rape Zero but it's Zero who seduce him. So that's not rape, doesn't it?
"Maybe but… when I check on him before when I saw him for the first time, there is no mark or clue that he had been rape. So that's can't be the truth. But when I saw him later, there is something different about him. He must have sex but he can't remember or he doesn't know that he had," say the doctor. He is a doctor so even if his patience has a little bit different condition that before, he will know it.
"Oh, really," say Kaname a little bit satisfied. So it's the truth that he is Zero's first. So… that's mean… that was my child right? Zero is pregnant with my child, did not he? In another word… I am a father?! Really?
"So, what else happened?" ask Kaname. Other than that, Zero must say something to the doctor. He know Zero.
The doctor sighed again. "He want to abort the baby," say the doctor slowly.
"What!" Kaname almost scream. Not just Kaname but Takuma, Aidou, Ruka, Kain, Shiki and Rima also screaming. Abortion? In vampire culture, abortion is a taboo. They can't let Zero do the abortion. Even though Zero is a human and an ex-human, but he is a vampire now. So Zero must follow the rules. It's hard for the vampire to get pregnant, not like the humans kind. That's why their number is not much. Moreover, they live longer than human so that's why they slow in having offspring.
"Yes, but I tell him that he can't. He maybe will do something to his pregnancy. So, maybe you can advise him something, Kaname-sama," say the doctor.
"Yes, of course," say Kaname with the smile. Abortion to his baby? No way he will allow Zero to do it. That was his baby. Their baby. No matter what, Zero will keep the baby. He will make sure it. "So, how long is his pregnancy?" ask Kaname. He really want to know.
"Three weeks. We already can sense the baby but not too much," say the doctor with a little smile.
"Okay, thanks. For now, I want you to take care of Kiryuu and his pregnancy. After that, report it to me," say Kaname give an order to the doctor.
"Yes, Kaname-sama," the doctor obey.
"Why must you take care of him so much, Kaname-sama?" ask Aidou a little bit irritated. Ruka nodded her head.
"How many times I need to tell you that he is under my protection? No matter happen to him, it's my responsibilities," say Kaname while he put his indifferent mask. It's too much happening to him today and he had slipped his indifferent mask too many times. He sighed slowly. This is not him. He must be calm and cold like usual.
"Yes, Kaname-sama," say Aidou slowly. Its good Kaname don't yell and smack his face like usual. He sit at Kain side slowly.
Kaname sip his blood wine. He must plan something. Zero is pregnant with his child, so he can't harm the baby. His baby. He suddenly remember, the weird presence that he can sense when he meet Zero before must come from the baby. No wonder he can't find where that presence come from. He need to change his plan before. He can't make Zero as Yuuki's knight anymore. When he thinks about it, he never thought about Yuuki anymore after he meet Zero again. What is this mean?
Chairman Cross sighed in his office. Zero is pregnant? Really? That's mean he will be grandpa, don't he? Then he frowned, he is happy but he doesn't like the fact that the kidnapper is the one who make Zero get pregnant. He will make everything to find the truth of how Zero can get pregnant. He glance at his friend, Yagari Touga who sit silent at the window and smoke.
"What did you plan?" ask Kaien Cross. He take off his glasses and put it on the table.
"Plan? I have no plan. I don't know where to start it. We even don't know who the fuck is the kidnapper. Zero doesn't want to tell anything." Yagari Touga a little bit furious.
"Yeah, but we will know eventually. We just need to wait. Now, what the most important is… what should we do with Zero and his baby?" ask Kaien Cross.
Yagari Touga huffed. He folded his hand on his chest. "What can we do? Abortion?" ask Yagari Touga with a smirked. No need to ask, Zero surely will abort it.
"We can't!" say Kaien Cross almost yell at Yagari Touga. "Zero can't abort his pregnancy," say him again. He live long enough with the vampire and he know a little bit much of vampire culture. Like the doctor said, the baby can't be abort. It's a taboo.
"Why?" ask Yahari Touga.
"There is no abortion in vampire culture. Whatever happens, the baby will be born. No matter happens or whatever we do, the baby can't be abort or…" Kaien Cross silent. He sighed a little.
"Or…" Yagari Touga curious.
"Or… the mother or the carrier will die with the baby. That's why it's a taboo. Do you want to lose Zero, Touga?" ask Kaien Cross. He glance at Yagari Touga while he sit on his desk.
Yagari Touga a little bit startled. Die? Zero? He can't let that happen. He sighed.
Zero who want to enter Chairman Cross study room stop. If he abort the baby, he is going to die too? That was shocking. He silent for awhile. He want to hear some more.
"Kaname maybe already about it," say Chairman Cross slowly. He sighed. He tried to imagine Kaname's reaction. Wow, he can't imagine it.
"Why must that pureblood know about Zero? It's not his concern." Yagari Touga growled.
"Even if we don't tell him anything, he will know because the doctor is his private doctor. The doctor will tell Kaname even if he don't ask him to. And you must know, Zero's stomach won't be flat forever. In few months, the bump would showing." Chairman Cross sighed. He need to discuss about this with Kaname and Zero. Zero need protection. His kidnapper definitely will come back to get Zero back. If he can enter the academy and his house without his knowing, maybe he can come and kidnap Zero once again without their knowing.
Yagari Touga sighed loudly. So stress. "Why must you have a pureblood in this school?"
Chairman Cross laughed. "You know that if I don't have pureblood support, this school won't be open right now. Thanks to Kaname I can open a school like this," says Chairman Cross, laughed again.
Zero bite his lips. There is nothing important other than his condition right now. Should he tell Ichiru or Yuuki about his pregnancy? No, he won't tell them anything. He will deal with it himself! He ran away from house. He need to be alone right now.
"Zero, where are you want to go?" ask Yuuki who just exit from the kitchen.
Zero don't pay her any attention and he ran away without look back. He need to be alone for now. He still can't stomach the idea that he is pregnant right now.
Yuuki statled. She want to ran after Zero but Zero use his vampire ability to ran away from there.
Ichiru just walk out from his room when he saw Yuuki on the stair. Frozen.
"Yuuki, what are you doing here?" ask Ichiru a little bit weird when he saw Yuuki look nervous on the stair. Did anything happen?
"Zero…"
"What happen to Zero? Doesn't he stay in his room?" ask Ichiru.
"No… Zero… he ran away. I can't stop him earlier," say Yuuki while she grab Ichiru's shirt. She really worried if Zero does anything stupid.
"What! Zero ran away? Quick, let's tell chairman and Yagari-sensei about it," say Ichiru while he run to Chairman Cross study room.
"Chairman! Yagari-sensei!" Ichiru slam the door open without knocked at it first. Chairman Cross and Yagari Touga startled to see Ichiru enter the room suddenly.
"What happen, Ichiru-kun?" ask Chairman Cross weird.
"Zero… he ran away," say Ichiru.
"What? Damn! Let's find him, quick," say Yagari Touga while he grab his rifle and run out from that room. Chairman Cross and Ichiru run behind him. Damn, why must Zero run away?
