DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER AND ASSASSIN'S CREED THEY BELONG TO THEIR RESPECTIVE OWNERS.

A/n: Alright now that most of the crap is out of the way I can now focus more on writing...and drawing. I got a commission for Christmas by my mother in law and now I am going to work on it hopefully within the next few weeks. Right now I am just writing this chapter after watching a few episodes of the show Constantine. I think that show is wicked cool too bad it was canceled after its first season.

THE BLACK EAGLE

Chapter 24: A Snake Filled Summer

PINE RIDGE INDIAN RESERVATION SOUTH DAKOTA U.S.A.

Remus stared at the ground in front of him. It was a Native American burial ground, and the local shaman asked him to assist him in performing a exorcism. The person whom they are going to exorcise is being accused of doing a very dangerous form of magic, and now the person in question is possessed by a demon. That demon is Central American by nature and so Remus with his travels around the world has learned a thing or two when dealing with demons.

The demon has desecrated the burial site and killed a man that was one of the care takers. Already Remus has set up the markings on the ground to help contain the spirit. Not only that, but Remus was sure they were dealing with a very angry demon so he was ready with various spells to catch it.

The man they had caught was bound to a table and Remus was sure that he was Mayan, but to be certain he has an identification talisman to tell him also.

"Is everything in place?" the Shaman asked.

"Yes, since this demon is from Central America I had to use the same markings from one of their exorcising rituals, and combine it with yours." Remus replied.

"Good, tell me what to do so I can help," the man said.

"I want you to hold that talisman it will help protect you from the Demon's influence and boost your own magic," Remus replied.

The person on the table had awakened as he started spouting things in a strange language. Remus took no heed to it as he summoned up his strength for the sealing.

"Alright now the spell is in Spanish because that is the energy that is flowing today. So I will warn you that this will be tricky," Remus warned.

The shaman nodded understanding.

Remus closed his eyes and spread his hands out ready to capture the demon.

"Intidad oscura que reside dentro de ti, Hago un llamado a que revele a sí mismo a esta condición humilde," Remus chanted.

The man strapped to the table began to scream as inhuman as possible.

"Revelar a ti mismo demonio de la oscuridad , revelan su verdadera forma a ti!" At this point the demon started to scream as the man struggled. The symbols on the ground began to glow with power. The ground began to shake as the man screeched to the heavens. "Revelar a ti mismo demonio de la oscuridad , revelan su verdadera forma a ti!"

As the man screamed and the symbols grew brighter a dark mist began to spout from his mouth. That dark form took the shame of a winged entity with sharp fangs and large claws.

Remus had never seen anything like it as it stared down at him with poisonous eyes. He felt fear and doubt fill him but then he began to steel his resolve. The demon was using his emotions to cloud his judgment.

"Don't let it place fear in you that is what this thing does. It will only trick you into freeing it," Remus told the Shaman. The old man nodded and began to chant in his own language a barrier spell.

The demon began to go for him but the symbols glowed. Screeching in rage the demon hit the barrier full force.

"Demonio de la oscuridad te ordeno regresar a una mueca de dolor que viniste!" Remus shouted.

The demon shouted at them in its rage.

"Regreso al infierno!" Remus shouted and a circle of light was made. The cries of the demon being sucked into hell has spoken volumes and his victim was a crying mess on the ground.

Quickly running up to him and speaking in Spanish Remus quickly noticed that the man was indeed one of the natives. His Spanish mutterings was enough to convince Remus that the man was just plain stupid.

After muttering his thanks in Spanish. Remus managed to make a portkey that would take him back to his homeland. After thanking Remus the Mayan disappeared in a pop of distilled air.

"Thank you wolf spirit your help was most needed. Now we just have to cleanse the area of the evil that was brought to it, and cleanse the desecration that has destroyed it." the Shaman said. Remus only nodded.

It took several hours of enchanting before the site was once again cleansed of the dark entity. Remus had never felt so exhausted in his life. Not many magicals could acomplish was he did and even more so a foreigner. As he walked away from the Shaman's home feeling rather tired he made his way towards the woods. Hoping to shift and run a bit before succumbing to exhaustion.

Changing into his wolf form he ran through the forest for miles, till at last he came back towards the farm. When he entered the familiar wards William Miles was waiting for him.

"Hello Remus," he said.

Remus shifted back and nearly fell over, "Sorry had a long day," he said.

"I know the chief called to say his thanks, and do all Magicals know anything about this sort of thing?" William asked.

"No, the only reason I know was because I took a class in ancient riturals and cultures. It was for my Auror training we need to know how to deal with evil spirits or runaway spells. Such as the one I had to deal with. Since I am part of the international police I can be anywhere I want so this was no different. It was just a spell gone wrong and I will file my report after I get some sleep. Using that much magic too fast always makes me sleepy." Remus said.

"Well get some rest you've earned it and don't worry about Desmond he is at the Lancasters today," William said.

"Thanks," Remus replied before he walked over to his own home for some rest.

The Farm had become Remus's new home within the past year. As he had come to know the people who lived here, so had they come to know him. And in a way they had come to accept the fact that once a month Remus has to go through a forced change. But ever since he learned to become one with the wolf inside. He has become alot more safe around people. He also became part of the magical communities werewolf spokeman. He would help fund the research for helping those who are afflicted with Lycanthropy. And with the help of his Native American friends help to control and master the animal within.

Remus's house is filled with all sorts of magical items. If one knows where to look they might find the right item. That is if they can actually see the item. You see Remus's home looks like any other home on the farm. To the naked eye the house lacks any sort of furnishings that one would normally find in a country home. But Remus is no fool not everyone likes to deal with magic as readily as the Assassins would. And occasionally they do get an outside visitor once in a blue moon. So Remus's home looks like the others.

However when he enters his home all he has to do is say the right words.

"Mischeif Managed,"

It was as if a transformation took place around the house. Instantly furnishings came a bit more towards Remus's tastes. Herbs of all sorts began to sprout around the kitchen area while a couldron was seen in the middle. The kitchen itself transformed into a more lively one with pots and pans all over the place. Herbs and spices hanging from the walls and all sorts of magical items. Remus like any magical likes to keep his kitchen into someplace where he can make potions when needed. And right now he needed a mana potion.

So luckily he had some in the cabinet where he keeps his potions and took a small vial. Taking a drink of the potion he felt his reserves return. Walking towards the kitchen he started to make something to help with the pain of running for hours as a wolf. That involved a good heaping of slightly cooked meat with pepper and salt and a hint a garlic. As he was cooking his food his sense of smell picked up something from the door.

A smile came to his face as he turned to greet little Desmond who had just turned five.

Well at least five back in March but the five year old was looking happy as he came into the kitchen.

"Did I scare you Uncle Remus?" Desmond said.

"No, you did not Des remember I am part wolf," Remus said.

"Aw, I wanted to be able to scare you," he said looking pouty.

"Hey now don't look at me like that I did not hear you come in remember? That is a good thing if I can't hear you then I can't see you so you did good," Remus said.

"Really?" Desmond replied.

"Yes, really how about later I will teach you how to hide your scent from me so that way you can scare me," Remus said.

"Okay!" Desmond replied before giving Remus a hug and running outside. The sounds of the other kids laughing showed that Desmond has indeed been making some friends. Remus smiled to himself as he finished his dinner before heading to the living room to watch some Television.

There was nothing on but he wanted to watch anyways. Flipping the channels he magically made it possible to get the whole area some cable without being detected by the cable companies. A special transeiver allows them to tap into the news feeds and also any sort of entertainment. Remus felt proud of himself for thinking of it. As he sat down to watch some movie he wanted to know how things were going on now that the host for Voldemort is dealt with.

SURREY, ENGLAND

"Harry! Dudley lunch is ready!" Petunia called.

Both Harry and Dudley looked up from where they were cleaning the yard. Harry was pulling weeds while Dudley was purning the hedges. It was part of their summer time chores and they wanted everything to look right for fall. So far they had raked the leaves and threw out the occasional gnomes that came in but mostly the yard was immaculant as always. Harry put down his trowel and Dudley put down his pruners before heading off to the water hose on the side of the house.

When they got in the boys washed up before sitting down to eat their lunch. Petunia made them simple sandwiches and cookies to help give them back their energy. Milk was also added to give that extra flavor to the deserts.

She had to laugh. If anyone told her that she would be a mother an an aunt to a pair of adventurous novice assassins she would have laughed at them. There was a time where Petunia was a rather adventurous assassin. She would go on the most dangerous missions just for the cause. Because she was not magical Petunia could go places where her sister could not go. Being that Abstergo had wards to detect magical presence she was forced to go alone.

But that was all in the past and for now Petunia was just happy with the way things are. She sat down with the boys to spend some time with them. Now that their chores were done it was time to do some much needed homework.

Well Assassin homework.

Upon the first week of their summer vacation Petunia made sure that both Harry and Dudley finished all their summer homework. That means they were free to work on their assassin's training with Severus later on in the summer.

"All done Aunt Petunia," Harry said as he excused himself from the table to clean up.

As soon as he was done he headed back outside to the gate. When he was finally done Harry waited for Dudley to finish his meal.

He did not have to wait long for his cousin to finish. When he appeared Dudley shouted to where they were going to be and both he and Harry ran out of the yard towards the park.

The park that the boys normally would be at was a fun filled place. It was filled with all sorts of activities for them. For the most part both Harry and Dudley practice their freerunning skills here. The park was filled with all sorts of obstacles and challenges for the boys. This gave them a test of their leaping and running skills. Other kids often join them in their fun believeing them to be just like them. Dudley had sparked in interest in skateboarding and rollerblading. Taking out the roller blades both he and Harry played with the kids till the sun went down.

When they went home both boys were exhausted but happy. It wasn't until they gotten towards their home when something whispered from the bush.

Psst! A voice said.

"Huh?" Harry replied.

Over here speaker the voice said again.

Harry recognized it instantly as Parseltongue the language of snakes. He quickly went to the bush where he heard the noise.

"Harry?" Dudley asked.

"Cover for me," Harry said.

Knowing what Harry meant Dudley began looking around, "I know it was here somewhere Harry how can you lose your keys? Mum will be angry with ya," Dudley said.

"Now what are you boys doing?" asked the neighbor.

"My cousin Harry had accidentally knocked his keys somewhere in the bushes sir we just need a few minutes to find them," Dudley lied.

"Oh alright then but be quick about it!" the neighbor said.

Nodding both boys began to dig into the bushes it was until Harry found the snake in question.

"Greetings brother or sister in scales what brings you here?" Harry asked.

"I've come to warn you but not here that human is suspicious," the snake warned. Nodding Harry scooped up the little snake and put it in the pocket of his hoodie. Nodding to Dudley he pulled out his own keys before getting up.

"Found them Harry next time watch where you are putting your hands. Mum will have words with you after this!" Dudley said a bit louder then usual so the neighbor can hear.

"Thanks Dudders now lets get home," Harry said and the two boys went home.

When they got home Harry and Dudley quickly told Petunia about the snake. She quickly ushered them into the basement and closed the door. When they were safely underground the snake quickly came out of Harry's pocket.

"Is it ok to come out now?" the snake asked.

"Yes, it is ok to come out now," Harry said and extended his hand.

"Man I wish I could talk to snakes," Dudley said.

"I can teach you cousin it is not hard. Just alot of hissing," Harry said.

Turning back to the snake it looked around before looking up at Harry, "Go ahead brother what do you have to say?" Harry said.

"I came to let you know that there were several people watching your home. There are more then usual meaning that someone has sent a relief spy on you. The old lady that lived across from you with the many cats. She turned one of them into a human to provide extra eyes. We and our friends with black feathers have seen this and being the smallest was sent to warn you," the snake said.

"Thank you brother, do you know what does this person look like?" asked Harry.

"No, I only know his scent but I will ask our black friends they can see in color." the snake said.

After thanking the snake Harry let it use the pipes made specifically for it to get out of the house. Once gone they relayed the information to Petunia and the newly arrived Vernon. Cursing Vernon looked out the window and swore.

"I knew that guy was creepy enough," he said.

"What guy?" asked Petunia.

"See that guy across the street near Mrs. Figgs house he is the cat-man that your buddy told you about. I think he was created to watch the house while Figg reports to Dumbledore," Vernon said.

"Shit!" said Petunia.

"So what are we going to do mum?" asked Dudley.

"We do nothing and act normal I don't want that bitch knowing that we are on to her. It was a good thing that Severus put those wards around the house so she can't listen in to our conversations," Petunia replied.

"Dear speaking of which, when will the boys go out to meet Severus?" Vernon asked.

"In about two weeks he has to grade papers after all. Not only that but he needs a break poor man could use one," Petunia said.

Her husband had agreed after seeing the man at Christmas, "I should say poor fellow had nearly fallen over in exhaustion."

"So what do we do?" Petunia asked.

"Like I said we lay low act normal since this cat is not normal. The boys will be gone in two weeks. If anyone asks I would just say that they had gone to stay with their friends the Weasleys since they are going right?" asked Vernon.

"Oh yes they are, Molly Weasley is such a delightful lady. We exchanged recepies at the train station and I have yet to try out that clam chowder of hers," Petunia replied.

"That is good," Vernon said.

MEANWHILE

"So Harry what is it like to go to a wizards house?" asked Dudley

"I have no clue I have never been to one remember?" Harry replied

"Oh yeah," said Dudley.

The two of them were in Dudley's room playing a video game. Their homework and chores were already done so they did not have to worry about it. Both boys were enjoying a game of Mortal Kombat on Dudley's new Sega Genesis. Harry had helped him fix the piece of junk from the trash and together the boys were enjoying their game. Since Harry does not have to worry about being caught outside of school for using magic.

"So when are we going to the Weasley's?" said Dudley.

"We are going in a week. Mr. Weasley was supposed to pick us up in a weeks time after work. Aunt Petunia had to convince him not to use the fire place because it would kill him to do so," Harry said.

"Oh yeah I remember that converation at the station before you came off," Dudley replied.

As they played Hedwig Harry's snowy owl was snoozing by the window. She was out of her cage and just enjoying the sun. Her head was tucked under her wing as she slept. Dudley's owl Peter was also sleeping he was a great horned owl with white streaks above his face mask. The way his mask was Dudley was reminded of Spider Man so he named his owl Peter after Peter Parker.

Lying on Dudley's lap was of course the little garden snake that they had saved from the neighbors. The snake was enjoying a bit of warmth and relaxation from the outside. Dudley was enjoying himself as he was stroking down the snake and from the content look on those lidless eyes he was enjoying it.

"So my friend what do you have to say for yourself now?" Harry asked the snake.

"Oh I am enjoying myself quite well. The others were right you do treat your guests well. I had that aching belly for quite sometime. I think I ate a mouse that had a bit of poison and his rubbing his helping me with dealing with it." the snake said.

"Well if it helps we have something for the poison to help flush it out," Harry said.

"What did he say?" Dudley asked.

"He just said that your hand rubbing him down feels good. He ate a mouse that had poison in it's system," Harry said.

"Ah hold up a sec let me go get the medicine then," Dudley said.

Harry was handed the snake while his cousin paused the game. Getting up he walked out only to return with a pink bottle.

"Now this potion was made for snakes. It helps with dealing with poisons no matter how bad it is," Harry said.

Taking a drop of the thick creme Dudley rubbed it along the snake's body. The content snake happily rubbed his head along Dudley's hand. The boy rubbed along the belly and instantly the creme was absorbed into the body of the snake. With a content sigh the snake curled up and was asleep.

As the snake slept the boys kept on playing their game. Eventually they let the snake go when it woke up. They placed the snake on a nice warm rock before going back in for supper. Soon enough though it was time for bed. Nothing like a nice warm summer to enjoy for the boys.

THE BURROW, OTTERY ST. CATCHPOLE

Now if one were to say that the Weasleys were living in a house that was falling apart. They would be partly right. The house looked like it could fall at any moment had it not been held up by magic. The Weasleys were a pureblood family. Pureblood meaning that their family line was only filled with those of magical descent and even then they are known as Muggle Sympethizers.

But Arthur Weasley is a man obsessed with anything Muggle or non Magical. He collects things of value, and thanks to his son Ronald who became quite an expert on them. He managed to figure out the most basic of things. Such as the Telephone which had proven to be a puzzle but Ron insisted that his dad stay at a Muggle hotel to learn about it and other things Muggle.

Now the elder Weasley had learned a bit more about his non-magical counterparts then any other in his department. It calmed him somewhat but that did not stop him from shouting up the stairs.

"Boys! Come one get this place cleaned up we don't want our guests to think we are pigs now do we!" he screamed.

His wife Molly was in the kitchen with their youngest daughter Ginny who was learning how to cook. Arthur smiled for in a short few days he was going to meet Ron's friends for the first time. And the best part was that one of them was Harry Potter. He already met Draco and to his surprise was Lucius's son but hey kids will be kids.

As the Weasleys were preparing for their visitors one Weasley in particular was getting ready for something else.

Ron Weasley had already had his room ready for his guests. He had bunk beds for a while and had the room expanded to include Dudley. He fortified the wards against his brothers pranks and he ensured that the other wards against evesdropping and spying were intact. Looking around and making sure no one saw him he pulled back the board that hid his gear. Under his bed he had hidden his assassin's gear and put a special notice me not spell on it.

he was ready for his friends to arrive.

A/n: Wow it has been a while hasn't it? Well wait no further as this next installment has been a while in the making. After a long haitus due to real life and updating my other fics this one was long overdue. I am currently playing AC-Unity and replaying AC-II with my mother in law. So I have plenty of AC to help me along. Also as in part of HP I don't have enough time in my life to reread the books but I have read synopsis and watched the movies again. That seems to help with planning plots and sticking to the universe. So I will not babble any longer and I thank HeroofFire101 for that review about detail. Yes I am going into alot of detail with this and hopefully cover a bit more later on.

So anyways I will not delay any more enjoy this new chapter and remember to leave a review and no FLAMES, BASHINGS OR LORE MONGERS PLEASE!

Thanks.
