Chapter 25: Possession
Allen P.O.V
Whipping mud off my legs, I couldn't help but groan watching Johnny and Tup finally staring at the map, that could have prevent us from falling into unstable grounds. Slapping the rest of the mud off my hand, my next job was to help Teresa get the mud off her. "I Thought you guys said you knew where you were going." Teresa shouted, her eyes watering as I whip mud off her back.
"Sorry, we just took a wrong turn." Johnny mumble trying to figure out the map.
"I could have drowned in mud!." She screamed stepping away from me.
"It was your choice to come." Johnny exclaimed, and Link snatched the map from them. Looking at the map himself, I saw him for the first time sighed.
"Wrong turn right." He said, turning towards me. "Allen, can you get me high up, I need to see where we are."
Shrugging I activated my innocence, grabbing Link, I jump as high as I could, we were only in the air for a few second, when Link used what he called 1 of the Crows Technique, but I don't think the animal would ever need paper spells. The kept us in the air a bit longer as Link look at the map. Folding the map up, he put it in his pocket, and we broke threw the spell. We landed back on the ground with ease.
"Your, lucky it about a day always thanks to your wrong turn. We should rest now, after the incident I know we are all tired." Link said in one smooth motion, the folding the map and putting it in his coat pocket.
"Great." Teresa said, sitting down, and pulling her bag off. Sitting down to I lean against a tree, and Link sat next to me. Watching Johnny and Tup put down their heavy bags.
"So guy why are we out here?" I asked, and both Johnny and Tup look up at me.
"Komui didn't tell you."
"He wouldn't be asking if Komui told him."
Glaring at Tup Johnny sighed. "We are here to see if we can cure a case of someone being possessed."
"Possessed." I said bit surprised.
"Yes, me and Tup have been..."
"Tup and I."
"Tup and I been studying the difference between demon and akuma, there very similar so most people think there the same, we got lucky finding that there a complete different species." He said excitedly, getting back on track. "Well possession been going on for a long time, but there not really possess there just sick, which was caused by the demon just by being there, only a few are affect, and there symptoms make them seem possess so we just call it possession because it makes easier for people to understand. Sorry I'm throwing so much information at you, but you need to know a bit of the back stories. So we are here, because we found a..."
"Potential cure." Tup cut in.
"What did you guys do with the possess before now." Teresa asked crossing her arms.
Johnny and Tup became quite. "We killed them, and before that we killed entries towns." Link said.
I look at Link. "The order killed people."
"They made a decision they thought was best, they didn't know if it could spread, the lives of a the many out weight the few." Link said looking down.
"If our cure works, there will be no more lives taken from this."
Leaning back my shoulder drop. "So why I'm here."
"Well just in case we meet the demon." Tup said, connecting the sticks togethers, trying to set up his tent. In the end he gave, up and Teresa set it up. She being there assistant.
"I'll take first watch." Link said, standing, looking over at the scientists they were already asleep. "Allen." Link called, and our eyes met. "If the cure doesn't work I will kill the possess, and I need you to understand that I have to do this, because it better for them."
"I hope it doesn't come to that." I said, looking away, I cross my arms, how could I let human die so easily. Closing my eyes, I wonder what I will do.

Teresa yawned as we made to town, scratching her head she look up at me, looking back at her, it only made me realize how much she was just a child. Grabbing my hand Teresa pulled me to her side.
"You being to damn slow." She mumbled, changing my thoughts, though she was still a kid no matter what she did.
We stood in front of a green painted door, that look newer then the house. Tup knock, and it was only second when a lady open the door. She look like she should be younger , but stress has aged her. She look us over. "You're the Exorcist?" She choked out.
"Same company, better department, is there anyone in the house with you." Johnny said walking in with no given permission, we followed.
"Yes, but just me in my husband, our daughter is the one possess, we lock her in her room."
"Good, both you and your husband must leave for a few days. As my letter said, this was experimental, we don't want you guys to be harm."
"I understand, and if it does fail you will put her out of her misery." The lady said grabbing Johnny's arm.
"Yes." Link said, and the lady smile.
"Rob." The lady called, and a man came down stairs with bags already packed. I clinch my teeth. "She up stairs in the room on the left." She said.
"Allen, your hurting me." Teresa whisper, and I release her hand that I forgot I was still holding.
"Sorry." I whisper back, and in the corner of my eye I saw the couple leave. Johnny took in a deep breath, and so did Tup before taking a step. They enter the room without hesitation, and as I step in a chill ran down my back.
"Teresa you should probably stay outside." Tup said, and expect her to give some lip, but she just nodded her head and left. Watching her go, my head turn back slowly to the girl who was sleeping in bed. She had brown hair, that show signs of being rip out, and cut in a hurry, there was bruises on her face, the rest of her was cover with her blanket, but she look to be 16.
"This is the first time I seen one sleep." Tup said.
"She not asleep, they can't sleep." Link informed, and the girl sat up, her eyes wide open, and if as if she was starring at me, and everyone except Link toke a step back.
Johnny and Tup put down there bags, and started pulling out tools. "Hello Rose, we are here to cure you." Johnny said, pulling out a needle full of liquid. I felt a release when her gaze landed on someone other then me.
"I'm not sick doctor, I'm possess." Rose said, smiling showing missing teeth.
"We're scientists, and you are sick." Tup said and the girl lift her arms from under her covers, showing that they were tied.
"My parents think otherwise."
"They are only trying to protect you, and can I ask, why do you seem so sane." Johnny asked, stepping closer, in the girl laughed.
"They told me you'll be coming, they said your here to kill me, not cure, Doctors." She screech, smiling wider, and shaking as if she having a seizure. She suddenly open her mouth wide, and toke a bit out of her left arm. Link jump into action, but he was to late. As he pull her away from her arm, she had bitten more then half way threw it. Laughing the chunk fell out of her mouth. Then she went for his neck, missing because he move she still bit his shoulder and he groan in pain. Punching her, she didn't let go until Tup dive for her, and move to the other side of the bed, separating her arm from her hand. Sliding off the bed, she lifted it and slam it against the wall behind, with the large grown man, Tup was still on it. Her eyes met me, and I realized I stood here frozen the whole time. Still laughing she about to leap at me, when Johnny stuck the syringe in her neck. She immediately clasped, face down.
Johnny turn towards me. "Are you ok." He asked, and I nodded no longer frozen. Turning towards Link, who was hold his shoulder I went to his side. "Shit, I don't think it work." Johnny said as he was helping Tup stand. Her blood, a bit dark was oozing from her, spreading across her bed room floor. "We should go, and call for the clean up team."
"Agreed." Tup said, and Johnny help Tup walk out, Link nodded to me. Following behind them, I felt so useless. When the girl room door close, a familiar chill ran down my back, and I turn around to see the girl standing.
"I have a message for you hallow shell of an angel." The girl said, and the sound of my friends banging on the room door. Coming closer to I couldn't help but step back, until I was against the door. She continued to come closer until her face was right up to mine. "We are watching you."
I felt cold, and without thinking, my innocence arm went threw her chest. Her dark color blood, was spit at me, as the gleam of her shock eyes still stare at me. As her body slide off my arm, I felt no guilt in killing her, sliding down the still banging door I sat down, her blood pool the whole floor, covering my eyes with both the palm on my hands, my hands slide up combing through my hair. I only acknowledge later that it left a blood streak on my face and my hair. I truly wish I felt guilty.
