Luna gathered herself, dawing in all of her power and forming a hand sign. She closed her eyes and began reciting the chant to activate the first seal. As she did she saw a golden yellow light get brighter and brighter through her eyelids. Hopefully Yukio would arrive sooner rather than later.

"..EH..? Luna?" Rin said nervously under his breath Luna nodded to indicate that she had heard. "I feel...funny..My flames feel like they are going out of control." Luna only nodded again and Rin went silent apart from his light panting as Luna drew out his flames through the portal in kurikaras scabbard. The light grew brighter and she felt it start to take its toll on her. She slip an eye open and saw Rin hugging himself and shuddering slightly, a slight look of fear on his face. She almost felt the moment when Rin lost control as his powers overwhelmed him and his appearance shifted. Luna felt like something heavy was pulling her down with immense strength so she closed her eyes again and continued reciting. Rin was now snarling and thrashing around as she drew out the last of his power and it swirled around within the barrier, she shifted the mantra and continued reciting. Now what the time and she needed Yukio to turn up soon. As luck would have it, she heard the fire escape door burst open and not one but six people stepped out onto the roof. She heard Yukio shout something and some other shouting from Rebecca. Luna stopped chanting and opened her eyes. Rin was thrashing around within the imprisoning circle with his teeth bared and claws ready to tear and maim. She jumped around to the opposite side of the circle so she could check to see that Yukio was watching and got full view of what was about to happen. Satisfied to see his horrified face peaking over Rebecca's shoulder, She drew the sword back, uttered a 'sorry Rin, don't hate me to much' And plunged it into his back, piercing his heart. She was almost blown backwards as everything seemed to explode outwards. The flames previously contained by the circle she had drawn retracted into Rin's body for a couple of seconds before exploding outwards in every direction. She held her place, tensing against the raw unrestricted force that came with Rin's power while it lit the entire top floor of the building like a star on top of a Christmas tree. Feeling a change in the air she withdrew the sword and discarded it to one side and quickly formed another hand sign and began chanting to activate the second circle she had drawn. The blue circle she had drawn phased in and out of focus and the symbols started moving and seemed to 'travel' up Rin's legs and a spt on his stomach began to glow a bright blue. H had torn the buttons off his shirt at some point while he was thrashing around and the red tattoo on his stomach shifted and changed, slowly turning from red to purple and then to blue and it morphed and changed into the square shaped tattoo Luna and everyone else had. Once the glowing stopped and the circle on the floor stopped shifting, Rin seemed to wake up and looked around, his slanted pupils wild and viciously out f control. Luna swung around and picked up kurikara and shoved it forward into the 'tattoo' and it disappeared. While she had ben concentrating on not messing up the mantra, she hadn't noticed what had transpired by the fire escape She was just about to start the mantra for the final circle to keep Rin down when something larger than her crashed into her side and sent her skidding across the floor, the stone floor scraping the side of her thigh and making her curse. She jumped to her fet and turned around to see what struck her just in time to evade a clawed hand aiming for her neck. Carting well out of the way, she stoppde and took a minute to admire her own ingenious, the plan had worked.

Before her stood Yukio, his nails grew long into claws, his ears pointed and grew exponentially in length like that of an elf's and his canines and grown into sharp points. Apart from his physical appearance, great, flickering blue flames engulfed his entire body. If he wasn't staring her down with the intent to kill, she would have clapped her hands together and danced fr joy but now she had two dilemma's. Yukio was completely out of control and Rin would snap out of his daze and probably start attacking soon as well. She pounced forward and send an unnecessarily hard roundhouse kick to Yukio's head, unable to contain the satisfaction she felt from the sickly creak she heard from his neck and he hit the ground unconscious. She darted back over to where Rin had started to climb to his feet and quickly chanted the mantra for the white circle she had drawn. She managed about half of the mantra before she felt Yukio stand up and come at her again. So that kick wasn't enough huh? She allowed him to swing his outerstretched claws at her as she dancd around evading them without interruption the mantra and when she had finished, the circle glowed white and Rins expression turned from seething anger to dazed. She fished out the charm she had drawn out earlier from her back pocket and slapped it against Rin's chest over the still healing wound over his heart. His eyes fluttered closed and he fell sprawled on the floor. She turned her attention to Yukio who, even in his senselessness, was growing more and more frustrated as Luna danced out of his way with minimal effort. She drew one of her daggers out and pointed at him.

"Yuki! Rin Is fine, get a grip you damn idiot! Now you r powers have awakened, I don't mind breaking a few bones." She said with a dark glee to her voice. Yukio seemed to pause for a minute but only roared and shot towards her. She grabbed one of his wrists and kicked at his ankle and made him do a few cartwheels in mid air before he slammed to the ground. She then ran backwards a few steps to give herself a little run up and jumped as high as she possible, angling her elbow forward and driving it into Yukio's stomach(1) He let out a loud painful sound as Luna rolled off him and stood with her dagger raised but, slightly to Luna's disappointment, Yukio clutched his stomach and groaned in what seemed to be his usual voice and his flames died down.

"W-WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? WHAT WAS THE NEED FOR THAT?" Luna couldn't hold in howl of laughter as the boy bared his teeth at her. "wa-wait...What happened...WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BROTHER?!" Luna calmed and wiped tears from her eyes.

"He's fine, just sleeping. It was a ritual to basically put his demon heart back into his body. And I made a point of bringing you here because I know that if something where to set you off enough, your demon side would awaken." Yukio decided it was best not to try and move and lay down on the floor, one hand over his stomach and the other cradling his head where Luna had kicked him earlier. Luna crossed the distance and bent over him, placing her face a few feet from his. "And it worked like a charm~" She said in a sing-song manner that would do Mephisto proud. Yukio's features twisted with rage and his flames flickered to life once more.

"Why did you do this to me?" He spat, once again trying to get up only to cry out and slump back. Luna frowned.

"It was going to happen one way or another, I just figured it would make Rin happy if you where a half demon aswell, at least that way everyone else will feel a little less inclined to hate you."

"Did you ever stop to ask if I wanted to become a demon?" Luna chuckled darkly.

"You already are a demon, what's your point?"

"My point is did it ever occur to you that I didn't want to have my powers awoken if I ever had any?" Yukio looked away and Luna could see the regret he felt for saying those words but she couldn't hold herself back.

"Their is a million and one things wrong with that question, just try to place yourself in your brothers shoes and THEN ask yourself that." Luna stepped back and walked over to Rin. She prodded at the paper stuck to his chest and saw the skin around the wound that the paper covered looked a little less inflamed (no pun intended!), a clear sigh of it healing. She studied his face and had to stifle a laugh as he snored loudly and drool trickled down his chin. Luna turned her attention to Rebecca and the others, all of whom she had completely forgotten about until that moment, nor did she notice the rusty smell of a number of peoples blood in the air. Rebecca, Quinn and Crystal seemed unscathed except for a couple of scratches but the humans looked a little worse for wear. The blond girl Shiemi had her little green man familiar sprouting aloe from its stomach as she used it to treat a set of deep incisions and what looked like a bite mark on 'Bons' face and neck. The pink haired boy was nursing a deep ubt not as severe set of marks that ran from his shoulder right down his arm and the bald boy Koneko and the mouthy girl with weird eyebrows where standing back wearily.

"You guys Ok?" Rebecca smiled.

"We're good, everyone got a little scratched up though, sorry about that. We tried to keep him back but he could have killed one of the Squishies if we didn't just let him go." Rebecca chuckled and Luna made a face at the younger.

"Squishies? Really?"

"Yeah! Their soft an squishy and bruise easily. Why the hell not?" Luna was about to storm over to the younger and strike her when Yukio spoke up from his place on the ground, his tone shaky and barely above a whisper.

"I-I did that?..." Luna couldn't help but go a little soft, only a little since she still had a pretty deep routed hatred for the kid.

"It's alright, it happens." She said lightly, going to the group and giving everyone a once over. "Good, no ones really hurt. Did you actually bite Bonbon here?" She threw over her shoulder with a smirk. Yukio gave her a horrified look but she only laughed and turned back to said rooster boy and taunted, "You'll heal up in no time, you're not scared of your big old demon teach now are ya?" The rooster went bright red in the face and his frown deepened. To her surprise, the tiny blond gave her a dark look.

"What did you do to Rin and Yuki?" The accusing look coming from the innocent girls face was unbearable and it took everything Luna had not to laugh.

"Relax, Yukio's demon half has been awakened and Rin's comatose for a couple of days while his body adjusts to his demon heart. I'd let him wake up but he will be a little unstable for a few days. Yukio's no problem because he didn't seem to inherit much demon blood so theirs no need to seal his powers or put a breaker on them." Luna mused more aloud as she studied Yukio who was inch by inch pulling himself into a sitting position. "You wanted to be together, now you can be, and you don't have to worry about your big brother anymore." Yukio's fury peaked and he shouted at her.

"Why did it have to come to this? What am I supposed to do about my duties and the cram school? I don't want to be a demon! I don't want to hurt people! I don't want to be like..." He couldn't finish but wouldn't have gotten the chance, Luna crossed the distance between then and backhanded him right across the face and sent his glasses flying, emitting a loud thwack that bounced around the wide open space.

"Like what? Like me? Like your brother? Well tough shit, grow a pair and deal with it and stop acting like a spoilt little brat!" Luna took a few forcefully slow breaths to calm herself, waving her hand around to cool the burning spot that had connected. "You wanted to be with your brother and now you can on equal grounds so stop complaining. As for your duties and job, I'll talk to Mephisto."

"Why do you keep attacking me?" She raised an eyebrows.

"Do you have to ask? Anyway. Lets get everyone inside."

"Well, This is a bit of a sticky situation." Mephisto sang-songed behind his large mahogany desk. A week had past and Rn had woken up a few days previous himself and to everyone's surprise and relief. Yukio had taken a week off work for "family matters" and had spend most of his time alone, probably practising using his flames. To Luna's delight, Rin had seemed happier lately. At first he had been a little angry about it and had asked Luna why he brought their curse on them but after a very short exchange, he had practically been skipping around in enthusiasm. Now the three satanic siblings and Rebecca where standing in the headmasters office of True Cross Academy and had just finished explaining what had happened a week prior.

"Well I can only suggest one thing if I'm honest. With Mr Okumura being newly awakened I cannot permit for him to be wondering around my school unattended. Although more practised, Rin isn't the most responsible of persons so I cannot put it to him to be responsible for are younger brother like it was when Rin first awakened. I would prefer to have you on campus while Mr Okumura goes about his classes and teaching duties in case of any emergencies." Luna tapped her foot in annoyance and restrained herself from banging a fist on his desk.

"You are aware that I have a business to run. Why can't you do it? You're always here and you can manipulate space so you have the luxury of not even having to stand to get around with that space ability of yours." She ground her teeth at the clown, almost grateful for being able to keep her temper under control in his presence. "Actually, what about that slutty knight woman? She's a teacher hear to isn't she?"
The demon king laughed animatedly for a moment before smiling meticulously.

"My girl, I am far to buy and I cannot be seen prancing around school grounds. As for Shura, she is certainly capable but you are far superior when it comes to physical strength. Plus if the boy where to go on a rampage, you are impervious to their flames-"

"I can asure you that I won't go on a rampage." Yukio cut in darkly, his voice coated in rage.

"Your brother said he would never hurt his friends but he had his moments. Granted you may not be as powerful as he is but the threat to my staff and fellow exorcists remains the same." He chuckled at the look of pure venom he received from the bespectacled boy and looked back at Luna who was giving him an equally hateful leer.

"As for your business, I know you're not working for a while and if you're worried about money, I can always find you a job at the academy, Maybe assistant-teaching in the cram school or something? The pay isn't great but it gets you by." Luna really did slam her fist on the desk this time, creating two small craters and sending chips of wood flying.

"You gotta be kidding me! Are you for real?! you want to put me in the cheapest, crappiest accommodation you can, give me a second rate job while I babysit because you simply can't be arsed? You really are a clown!" He turned to the twins. "Sorry guys, I ain't doing this .We're going home. Becky, I'll see ya later, your welcome for hitching you a ride to Japan, you can make your own way from here." Luna ignored the disappointed faces on the boys faces but they didn't protest. Just as she was about to storm out of the door, Mephisto called out in that sickly voice that made Luna want to vomit.

"And by the waaay~ I have a mission for you. Their is a hybrid hiding out somewhere in the southern true cross area. I need you to go and find them." Luna stopped in her tracks.

"And what do you want me to do exactly?" She said testily.

"I'll leave that to you, they are being quite troublesome at the moment but their are no reporrts on what her powers are, only a vague description of her appearance and that someone saw her tail. Here's the file, She was last seen by southern cross swing park less than a few hours ago s she may still be in the area. Their hasn't been any mass scale damage but every exorcist who has approached her has been injured to some degree. We're not sure where she came from but she isn't Japanese." To Luna's surprise, Rin was the one who spoke next.

"W-wait, isn't that the park near are monetary?" He said angrily, clenching his fist.

"It is, and I do believe the monetary residents volunteered to try and detain- wait, don't forget the file." Rin and Yukio turned and ran out of the room. Luna cursed under her breath and snatched the file from the desk, following the two.

"Well finish this discussion later. Becky? I'll call you later." She called over her shoulder before making a b-line out the door and down the corridor towards the two footfalls she could hear ahead of her. She caught up in little to no time.

"Guys wait! I know its where you grew up an these guys are your family an all but did it occur to you that you could just use a key to get to or near the monastery?"" The two stopped and looked around with twin looks of embarrassment. "Great, now lets go." She said with a huff. Yukio pulled out his ring of keys and flicked through them, finally stopping at a silver one and used it on the nearest door after checking to make sure no one was they stepped through the door, they where standing in an average sized sanctuary of a traditional catholic monetary. Luna looked around in astonishment, she knew the twins where brought up in a monastery but the words hadn't held much until she was actually saw it and she couldn't help chuckle a little at the irony of it all. The twins lead her to the back of the sanctuary through a door to the kitchen. Their was one man in a cassock(2) with short brown hair sitting at the table staring at a phone.

"Nagitomo! What's happening?" Yukio exclaimed, finally coming to a standstill. The man looked up and smiled warmly.

"Hay Yukio, Rin, What are you guys doing here?, Oh, hello...?"

"Luna."

"Oh so you're Luna! Nice to meet you. What are you doing here?" He repeated."

"We heard that you had all gone on a mission to find a half demon, Mephisto told me to come and assist." Luna said before the others could. Nagitomo eyed the three curiously and then shot out of his chair.

"A half demon? You mean like you guys? We weren't told that! The area manager said we where just-" Their was a huge bang that made everyone jump and they looked towards the kitchen door. Luna turned to the others.

"You guys wait here, I'll call you if if I need you." Rin made a move to follow her buy Yukio held him back, shaking his head. Luna smiled and went back into the sanctuary. On the opposite side of the room, three men all in cossacks where using all their strength to hold the front doors closed. She head towards them. The larger guy with some sort of seal on his hands caught sight of her.

"I'm sorry miss but could you please go back through their, we have a bit of a situation with a...violent teen."

"Don't worry, Mephisto sent me, I'll keep the door closed, you guys get yourselves ready." She said, crossing the sanctuary in a few steps and squeezing between then and putting her back to the doors. Although the banging from the other side didn't stop, the doors didn't move any more. The other exorcists slowly backed away from the door, slowly realising that although small, Luna could asily hold the doors closed.

"Luna Johnson, pleased to me'cha," She said with a wink, frowning at their lack of activity. A particularly violent thump almost sent Luna flying across the room but she managed to stay rooted to the spot. "Start explaining please, ya'know, in your own time." She said sarcastically. The priest with spiky blondish brown hair finally nodded and spoke as he pulled a summoning circle from his pocket.

"The girl is about 14-15 years old, She has some sort of telekinesis abilities, it appears that she can lift things and throw them without touching them. Maybe she is possessed by some sort of spirit? We don't know." Before Luna could think about, something large and heavy slammed into the door and its hinges where ripped off its stone frame with a shriek. Luna rolled forward to evade being flattened by the doors and crouched low, pulling one dagger from its hideout. Beyond the door stood a young girl, she had chocolate brown curly hair in a side pony and had olivine tanned skin, Her eyes where almost silver with a purple ring around the iris. She wore a tatty knee length purple poncho with what looked like a long sleeved black top and leggings underneath that clung to her thin frame and old doc boots with a purple floral print on them.(3) She had a hand razed and their was what looked like purple smoke lingering around her hand and around the large chunk of brick wall she seemed to have 'picked up' from the wall that surrounded the outer area of the monastery. She moved her hand and the brick wall started flying towards Luna, momentarily amazed by the sight, she raised her dagger and slashed the wall in two and the debris crashed to the ground on either sides of her. She charged at the girl but as soon as she stepped foot outside the monastery she was standing in a horrifyingly familiar room. Her room from 16 years ago. She spun around, panic rising in her mind as the metal walls filled her vision. She walked to the door and pushed the door but found that it was locked, she rattled the handle a few times before she started punching the wall. 'What the hell? This can't be happening, why am I hear? She screamed in him mind. She stepped back and tried to steady her. How on earth had she gotten here? She had just about to...to what? For some reason she couldn't remember what she was supposed to be doing right now but she knew it was important. She raised her dagger to strike the door but realised that her hand was empty, She looked around to see where she had dropped it but found nothing. She reached for her tattoo's but her hand met the bare flesh of her thighs, a glance down confirmed that her tattoo's where not their. Total and absolute terror shook her system and she collapsed to her knees and hugged herself as if she was keeping herself together in one piece. Had she imagined everything? Did she really escape this place? Or had the experiments finally driven her mad and made her fall into her own fragmented reality? The door swung open with a sudden bang as it ricochet off the wall and three white clad scientists walked in. She scurried away and her back met the frame of her be but it did nothing. Two of the exorcists grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to her feet, the other leaned in closer with a toothy grin, his eyes hidden behind glasses which reflected the light.

"Now now Luna, You never panic, why start now? This will hurt a little." He produced a syringe from nowhere and Luna felt it slide into her inner arm. The sting and the following burn that slowly began to spread up her arm felt very very real, to real. She opened her mouth wide and screamed as loud as her lung would allow. Her flames erupted around her as the exorcists began to drag to the dor and one of their labs when the image cleared.

Luna knelt on one knee, both arms clutching her sides and her entire form shivering. She slowly opened her eyes, completely thrown off balance by the odd feeling of shifting from one place to another and looked up. She was staring at a girl who was sitting on the ground some distance away, looking at her with a terrified expression. Luna shook her head, regretting it instantly as it made her feel dizzy, and slowly stood up as everything came back to her.

"What the hell was that?" She barked between sharp gasps of breath. She tried to raise her dagger but found her arms to be shaking to much to do so so she settled for making her flames burn brighter around her, her tail thrashing angrily behind her. The girl shuffled backwards like she was being stared down by an angry panther. "Don't make me repeat myself, who the hell are you and what did you do?" The girl let out a low whimper and slowly got to her feet, finally speaking in a horse voice.

"I-i'm Sophia Franko's, I-i was looking f-for the Okumura's, I heard that they might be able to help me..." She looked as if she where about to burst out crying but kept it in. Luna sighed.

"You're half demon aren't you? And I'm guessing you're kin to Azezal with those psychi powers of yours." she said as she slowly walked towards the girl, half to show she had no ill intention, the other half because her legs where shaking so badly it was a wonder she was walking at girl studied her for a moment, eyes resting on the flames that danced around her and her tail which was still swishing irritably behind her. Surprisingly, the girl gave a ghost of a smile.

"you're Luna aren't you?" She said in a whimsical voice. Luna nodded, eyes narrowing at the strangers familiarity.
"I heard about you from my parents, my powers awoke a few weeks ago. I was looking for the Okumura twins because I know they knew you. I...um... I was hoping you could help me..." She flushed red and her eyes teared, an odd combination. Luna tilted her head, her mind only able to focus on one thing.

"So you have illusionary powers?" the seemingly shy girl nodded slowly and Luna let out a long sight and 'greeeeat' (4)

(1) This is an old famous wrestling move made famous by randy savage, its on youtube and its freaking evil!

(2) Cassock - the black robe/dress like things that preists wear.

(3) IDK the name of these particular boots but i had a pair years ago and now they have started making cheaper versions of them for chavs I have the world. No i'm not a hipster but I used to get called a goth for wearing them, now their in fashion ¬¬

(4)One of the problems with being british "You cannot say the word 'great' without sounding sarcastic," Completely unnessecary but yanno ^^

Sorry for such a long wait on this chapter I've just been far to busy and to top it all off my wonderful boyfiriend went and got me a galext tab 3 for valentines day! So naturally I've been a little preoccupied ^^ But I promise the next chapter will come soon after this one!
