25. Understanding

Edward Pov

I walked into the lunchroom searching for the one and only...Bella. There she was trembling and I wondered what was on her mind. I looked over at Jasper seeing he was giving me a look of confusion. She's been ignoring me and it frustrates me,but I can't help but feel the need to hold her and ask her what's wrong. She stood from her spot suddenly and walk to the exit of the cafeteria. She then gave me a brief glance and continued pass the doors. I felt the stares my family was giving as I followed her. I followed her until we got to a clearing in the forest.

"I'm sorry, for the trouble I cost you this week." She started.

i nodded and waited for her to go on.

"You have no idea how hard it is to see you and know you are my long lost husband, but don't remember me nor our love...all the things we went through together. The first time we met,our date, your proposal,our wedding,our possible start to a family. It's hard" as she finished she began to sob.

"I know its Painful and I'm sorry. I'm trying to remember" I said calmly and sincerely.

"I just love you so much"

"Should I hug her or not...too soon" my thoughts echoed.

i walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her small fragile body.

It was silent for a while until...

"i think I want to know you better...maybe I can take you out"

she looked up at me shocked and overjoyed. It tugged at my heart strings and when she nodded...I smiled bigger than I ever have.

Then a familiarity overtook my senses, and events went through my mind.

,"Okay Mrs. Mason, there are no bad news, but good news is that you are fine, but tests detected a sign of pregnancy, so Congratulations,"Carlisle said.

I was pretty sure major shock was evident on my face. My eyes grew wide and my jaw dropped. I chuckled and smiled at Bella sitting on the table. I jogged over, picked her up and swirled her around. I then put her on the floor and kissed her lips.

"I am going to be a father" i exclaimed."

"I remember something" I told her. She looked gleeful and she asked what do you remember.

"When we found out you were pregnant."

she smiled and looked forward. I just stared at her realizing how she impacts my life.
