Tony got up from his bed and headed out of his room to Ducky's lab to talk to Jethro and to apologize to Michael. He walked down the hall towards Ducky's office he was about to go inside when he heard voices.
"How is he Dr. Mallard is he going to be okay?" Mark asked.
"He'll be just fine Mark I give you my word I will patch him up he'll of course need to be on bed rest for a while though." Ducky said.
"The nerve of him I know Michael was pushing his luck, but he wasn't doing any real harm. He didn't need to throw him across the room cracking some of Michael's ribs. If I get my hands on that good for nothing prince…" Mark growled.
"Easy…Mark calm down." Jethro said.
Mark narrowed his eyes at Jethro. "This is your entire fault!"
"How is this my fault?" Jethro asked.
"My mate is badly bandaged up and is heavily sedated and you're pussy footing around telling him because you're scared. Grow some damn balls man!" Mark growled.
"Gentlemen there is no reason to fight amongst yourselves." Ducky said trying to calm everyone down.
Jethro bent over slightly as he felt the baby move within him. "Ah Junior is up and moving again. You're right Mark I need to tell him about the baby even Junior here agrees, but I don't know how to approach the subject. Let alone know how he'll react. You don't just walk up to someone and tell him while you were in beast form we had sex and you knocked me up." Jethro said.
Tony wasn't sure what to make with that information. Was Jethro serious? It had to be some type of sick joke right? He had noticed changes in Jethro over the time he's known him, but he just shrugged it off. Besides, as far as he knew men couldn't get pregnant could they? Tony bit his lower lip he was so confused right now.
"You should just go tell him Jethro not just about the baby, but how you feel about him." Mark said.
"I can't do that!"
"Why not?"
"Because, he's a prince engaged to be married and I'm just a pathetic pregnant magician. I mean what do I have to offer him? He can have anything he wants handed to him on a silver platter, what on earth would he see in me?" Jethro said.
"Jethro he must feel something for you, otherwise he wouldn't have thrown Michael clear across the room. Then there's the issue with the wolves." Mark said.
Jethro just shook his head. "No Mark that wasn't him, that was his beast self. I can't tell him I love him. What if he out right rejects me? I mean I am the one who got knocked up with that potion I brought, even though his beast self forced me to drink it. I am used to rejection; however, if he rejects me I would just die."
"Alright Jethro you should lay down and rest this stress is not good for the baby." Ducky said forcing him to lie down in an empty bed.
"What does it matter? It was all just a stupid idea." Jethro said as he laid his head down on the pillow.
"Don't talk like that Jethro. What you have is a gift I would love to have a litter of kittens of my own." Michael said as he woke up from his sedated sleep.
"Michael!" Mark said as he rushed over to his lover's side holding his hand.
Michael gave Mark a goofy grin. "I can see why you love him so much; he has this sweet quality to him, plus a dazzling smile, and a really hot body you don't care that he's a prince, he could be a poor beggar and you'd still love him am I right?" Michael asked.
Jethro could only nod to answer Michael's question.
Tony had heard enough. He suddenly didn't know what to do. One thing was for certain he wasn't ready to confront Jethro about it. He certainly didn't like hearing Jethro so upset after all Jethro was his best friend, the only real friend he ever had.
He walked away from the entrance to Ducky's office to think things through. As he walked down the hall he saw his father.
"Ah Tony there you are I have news to inform you about." King Anthony said with a broad smile.
"What is that?" Tony asked not sure if he could take any more surprises.
"There is a high chance that you won't be marrying Princess Ziva."
"What?" Tony asked not sure whether he should jump for joy or not.
"Well since she disappeared you will not be marrying her, unless she shows up again. But don't you worry we have a new princess lined up for you, who in your mother and mine's opinion is a better match for you. Her name is Princess Kensi." King Anthony said.
Tony gave his father a blank look. First the knowledge that Jethro was pregnant and madly in love with him. Then his father telling him he wasn't going to marry Ziva but a princess Kensi instead.
His eyes narrowed. This was just great being forced into another marriage replacing one princess for another. Then there's the knowledge of Jethro him being pregnant and in love with him. He didn't know how to feel about that information he has heard of people luring people into marriage by pretending to be pregnant or in love with the other just to get at the fortune. He didn't think Jethro was the gold digger type, but he can't be too sure about that.
"Is something troubling you son? I'd figured you'd be please Kensi is a beauty. Sure her kingdom in on the other side of the world, but her kingdom is huge." King Anthony said.
"Nothing is troubling me dad!" Tony said as he walked passed his father. King Anthony raised an eyebrow as he watched his son walk off. It was obvious that something was troubling him.
Tony walked out of the castle. "Tony, where are you running off to?" Abby asked.
"Out." Was Tony's sharp reply.
"Hmm…looks like they're replacing you for Princess Kensi." The Goddess of Chaos said to Ziva.
"What? They can't replace me like that! So what's the plan I don't want to lose. I always win!"
"Easy princess. You have nothing to worry about. Patience, all good things come to those who wait." Goddess said with a laugh.
Ziva let out a sigh. "Alright fine!"
