"You thirsty babe?" Jasper turned and asked Edward.
"Yeah a little." Edward sheepishly answered from next to him. Jasper kissed Edward and got up, not bothering to put any clothes back on. Afterall Edward had seen all of him now there was no point in hiding it after he had told him never to be embarassed. He had to practice what he preached on this one, though he had never been the most confident with his body. He didn't notice the hungry look that crossed Edward's features when he saw Jasper in all his glory once again. Jasper made his way down the hall and to the kitchen and quickly open up the fridge where there was a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for him. Edward's graduation was a cause to celebrate and he didn't think a little champagne would hurt him. He picked up the bucket from the side and quickly filled it with ice from the freezer and placed the bottle of champagne in it. The two champagne flutes were already waiting for him on the side, he had planned for them to have a drink and talk when they first got to the apartment but of course even the best laid plans don't always work out. He smiled to himself at the passionate side of Edward he had witnessed and hoped that they would always be like that. He carried all of the items back to hide bedroom and placed them on his bedside table.
"Oh Jazz, you didn't have to get anything like that." Edward protested as Jasper raised his hand to stop him.
"Of course i did. It's your graduation and that's something to celebrate. Not only that but we can also finally be together and that is most definitely something to celebrate." Jasper leaned down and kissed Edward on the lips. He then proceeded to pop the cork of the champagne and pour some in to both of the chutes, he handed one to Edward.
"To your graduation." Jasper smiled, chinking his glass against Edwards.
"And to us." Edward said in return. They both drank from their glasses, savouring the taste of the champagne in their mouths. Jasper put down his chute and got back in to bed wrapping his arms around Edward and kissing his neck. He could not for the life of him remember a time he had been this truly happy, he felt like he finally had everything he wanted. He had a great job and a great guy, he knew there would be trials in front of them but for right now he was so content he couldn't believe his luck. Although there was one thing that was bothering Jasper and he just had to ask Edward.
"Hey Ed, I don't wanna seem big headed or anything here, it's just that i have to ask.." Edward held a hand up to stop Jasper's question in it's tracks.
"You're going to ask me if i postponed college for a year for you. I know you Jasper, you panic too much. But really i postponed because i wanted to, i will enjoy having a year off to work and relax and just enjoy life. I am still going to go to college and get my degree, but right now i just want to enjoy what i have before i get stuck in to more stress of exams and projects. My parents support it and so will you, it's just what i want." Edward looked in to Jasper's eyes all the way through so that he would know he was telling the truth. It really was what he had wanted, he had wanted this even before he met Jasper.
"Woah, it's crazy how much you know me already." Jasper laughed. "I guess i do understand what you mean, and i suppose i can't lie and say that i'm not happy you're going to be around. Especially with us going public, it will be nice to have you here with me."
"Exactly, you totally couldn't handle it on your own." Edward winked at him and downed the rest of the champagne that was in his glass.
"I think you're going to end up a little drunk there Mr Cullen." Jasper said, leaning over him to pick the bottle up and pour some more champagne in to Edward's glass. Edward gave out a little giggle.
"Maybe i am but i don't see you protesting, in fact i see you encouraging me by filling up my glass Sir. How very naughty of you." Edward said, holding his head up. Too afraid to look at Jasper because he knew he would start laughing.
"Well i can't say i wouldn't be curious to find out what a drunk Edward is like." Jasper freely admitted smirking to himself and filling up his own glass.
They both spent the night drinking the champagne, talking and making love. They stayed up until the early morning hours talking about anything and everything, just happy to be able to relax and enjoy these moments. They really were content with what they had and whatever came in the future they knew that they could handle together.
