IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK! I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. My laptop broke, I had to wait a while until I got my new one, during which I couldn't use my family's desktop because my dad was always using it. A third of this chapter was written on the Google docs app on MY PHONE! But anyway, to help me get back into the swing of things, drop me a favorite, a follow and a REVIEW! It was Valentines Day! To celebrate the holiday of love, Eren and Mikasa decided to go for a walk in the park that evening but late at night when no one was around. Eren wanted it to be very private for some reason. Mikasa wasn't sure why he wanted it like that but she agreed.

At about 9:30 after eating dinner at a really high-class restaurant (Which Mikasa found to be a little over the top) they went to the park. And just as Eren predicted it would be, no one was there. They had the whole park to themselves for the evening.

It was a little chilly out and all Mikasa had on was a thin tight fitting red dress but she hugged onto Eren as she walked which kept her warm and happy. She was also wearing the maroon scarf that Eren got her for Christmas which also warmed her.

The crescent moon shined brightly in the star covered sky which reflected off the park pond which made the water appear to glow. As the two lovers stood on the paved park trail and admired the gorgeous scenery before them, Mikasa spoke quietly "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

"Yes it is." Eren agreed "But of course, in my eyes, nothing can compare to your beauty."

The raven-haired girl smiled gently and hugged Eren a little tighter. They then continued walking on the paved trail through the park.

"Mikasa, I have a question." Eren told her while they continued walking at a decently brisk pace. "When we were younger, when did you start having feelings for me?"

"As soon as I moved in when I was ten. The first moment I saw you, my heart skipped a beat." She described to him as vividly as she could. "I can't quite explain it but I seemed to feel a connection to you, and that feeling has never stopped, not even now."

Mikasa continued "As I've told you before, I always wanted to tell you that I loved you, however when I was younger I was very shy and introverted so I never had the courage to tell you. But that night when you confessed that you loved me, I can't explain how happy I was."

They continued to walk for another half-hour and eventually they came across a park bench. "Want to take a break and sit?" The brunette asked.

"Sure, I'm getting a little tired."

As they sat on the metal bench and stared out at the stars sprinkled in the sky, Mikasa asked Eren a question "Eren, I never wanted to bring this up again but about your fight with Levi…"

Eren sighed while remembering that event "Yes.."

"I saw the security tapes, the moment before he finished you, you fought back. But you must have been in pain. How did you get your strength back?"

The brunette closed his eyes and exhaled deeply "It was you Mikasa."

"M-Me?" Mikasa stuttered.

"Yes Mikasa you. In that time, I thought about accepting my death because I knew I couldn't win. But before my final moments, I thought about you. I remembered those things he did to you and that if I was dead, I couldn't protect you." Eren confessed to her. Mikasa gasped and put her hand to her mouth. Eren proceeded with the story "But after I beat him to an inch of his life, I wanted to kill him, a thousand times, but I couldn't. If I killed him, I'd never be able to look at you again, you don't deserve a killer so I refused to end his life."

After hugging each other for a few minutes after Eren told the story, the stood up off the bench and decided to walk back to the car. But before they could, something caught Mikasa's attention from the corner of her eye. There was an odd object on top of a snowbank that did not look natural. It looked like a rock from the angle she was at but it was cube shaped.

"Eren, wait! What's that?" She asked curiously while pointing in the objects direction.

Eren glanced at the object and quickly replied "I don't know. Go check it out."

Mikasa walked over to the snowbank and picked up the object. It was not a rock, it was smooth and made out of glossy leather. Thanks to the light of the moon, she saw that it had a crevice going around the middle of it and a hinge on the back of it. She knew exactly what it was.

"It's a small box." She told him.

"Really? Open it up! Let's see what's in it." Eren instructed her.

Mikasa did as she was told and opened the small box. She gasped when she saw the contents of the box.

It was a ring! With a metal band and an emerald stone! (Mikasa's favorite gem. It's the color of Eren's eyes.)

She also saw a piece of paper in the top of the ring box. Her curiosity made her take the paper out and open it up. There was a note on it that read 'Mikasa, turn around.'

Mikasa gasped and turned around to see Eren down on one knee holding out his hand. Mikasa got the message and handed the box to Eren. He presented the ring to her and gave his speech.

"Mikasa, this has been a long time coming. I waited 13 years before becoming your boyfriend, I had repress my love for you for so long. From the moment I met you, I knew that no one else in this world would be right for me besides you. Before I knew you, I thought that things like love and marriage were not important, but you made me see how wrong I was."

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!" Mikasa squealed while holding her scarf in front of her mouth.

Eren continued talking "That day when I was in that fight, thinking of you was the only way I could win. But I didn't just think of you, I thought of us, our future together. So after all this time, all these things we've been through and all the amazing sex we've had and will ever have, I need to ask… Mikasa Ackerman, Will you marry me?"

Mikasa's eyes began to tear up and her legs became shaky. A million thoughts raced through her mind, this was the moment she had been waiting for, for so many years she dreamt of this day.

The next thing Eren knew, she ran into him and almost toppled him over. And she screamed out overflowing with joy "OH YES EREN! YES!"

She kissed him all over his face for 5 minutes straight and repeatedly yelled "I LOVE YOU!"

After Mikasa calmed down, she held up her left hand and Eren gently put the engagement ring on her ring finger. Tears of love and joy leaked out of her beautiful grey eyes and poured out all over her cheeks.

After this, Mikasa went home with her new fiancé.

PLEASE REVIEW! This was a long time coming! I had this plan for a while now and I finally put it into action. And since they're getting married soon, a good wedding shower gift would be GIVING ME PLOT IDEAS! More specifically about what they're married life will be like. Don't mention a baby, I have a plan for that! (FUN FACT: Today marks the one year anniversary that I found out about Attack on Titan! I watched a guy on Youtube called Lasercorn play the Minecraft Mod of AOT. And since I was by myself on Valentine's day cause I'm a loser, I had the time to watch a ton of episodes and get into it.)
