Harry Potter of the Elite 4

Harry sat on his bed staring at his Pokeballs resting on his bedside table Harry picked them all up and headed outside

Opening the balls in his room wouldn't work like it had in the old days Harry walked out the house onto the porch releasing the contents of his Pokeballs

Salamence greeted him sleepily before curling up and going to sleep the others standing around him

"Venasaur" "Wartortle" "Charmander" they all greeted Harry had been surprised when he came back from being tried by the international confederation of warlocks to see two of his longtime friends had evolved both Kendra and Dr. Scamander thought they had evolved while Harry was away because they thought if they were stronger they could protect him

All but Charmander that is after being bitten by Fenrir Greyback Charmander where once stood orange scales shiny silver fur like aluminum foil had taken its place his old friends once warm blue eyes were replaced by yellow with slit pupils like a cats the flame now burned black at the end of his tail

"Hi everyone I want to ask you a question" Harry said his Pokemon gathered around him Harry took in a deep breath" "do you want to be released" he asked

All the Pokémon's eyes widened even Salamence looked shocked that Harry would ask that of them

Harry looked down towards the floor tears in his eyes "it's my fault that you guys were in that battle with Greyback and those death eaters and-Harry choked back a sob-it's my fault you got hurt Charmander and and-

Charmander pushed his head under his arm nuzzling against his chest "Charmander char" he said translation "your my friend Harry who cares about being a charizard"

"Wartortle war Tortle" Wartotle said joining in on the hug translation "I agree with the furry lizard your our friend and we'd fight for you the same you've fought for us"

"Venasaur" translation "agreed" since Venasaur was a quadruped he never could really hug so he settled for sending vines out wrapping them around Harry and his smaller friends

Salamence sleepily stood up and licked Harry on his hair Harry nodded with a grin "thanks guys" he said hugging his Pokemon back

Harry shouldered his pack nervously looking at the Hogwarts express Carter nudged him in the shoulder getting his friends attention

"you nervous" he asked Harry nodded "definitely you" Carter nodded "you should give me a head exam if I say at any point in this that I'm not"

Sadie Kane ran past them turning back the royal blue streaks in her blonde hair flew across her eyes with the motion

"hurry up you two I've been waiting two bloody years to come to Hogwarts and I'm not missing the train because of you two dunces"

Harry let out a small laugh his nerves fading away like magic all the while Carter groaned "is there any chance I could transfer to Per Ankh"

Harry patted his friend on the back "I wouldn't try my luck old friend" Harry said with a laugh Carter pushed his hand away "you sound like an old man dude" Harry ran towards the train calling race you Carter running after him as fast as he could

Harry and Carter found an empty compartment soon enough they were joined by friend after friend after friend Neville looked like he was going to pass out

"you all right Nev" Neville shook his head "I left my Pokeball back at the manor" Hermione sighed "honestly Neville just ask your grandmother to send them in the post"

Neville looked up at her "I left them behind on purpose with all the drama around Pokemon and Harry" Neville sent a sympathetic look to Harry "I thought it was best to leave Lombre at the manor I don't think he minds he likes spending time with Gran for some reason"

Harry nodded "I get what you mean Neville I almost released my Pokemon last night" everyone gave him looks of surprise or scandal but Harry held up a Pokeball letting out Wartortle

"Tortle" Wartortle said looking around he'd never been let out while Harry was on the train so he looked around

"of course they love me so much they wouldn't let me" Daphne sighed "of course they love you you've had Pokemon longer then any of us with Carter coming in a close second"

"3rd"

Wartortle nodded sitting down in daphnes lap the Greengras heiress began petting him behind the ears Wartortle closed his eyes in bliss wagging his furry blue tail tickling Neville's nose

"behold the real reason this turtle of yours evolved to be scratched behind the ears" Carter joked getting a laugh from everyone until the compartment door opened

Wartortle got up from Daphnes lap and bore his teeth at the newcomer "I come in peace hold your fire" Ronald Ogrebum said holding his hands in surrender

"He shoots water but with a word from me your dangly bits will be in a block of ice get out Ogrebum you aren't welcome here" Harry said angrily

Ron kept his hands up "and with good reason I know it's why I've come I want the bad blood to stop between us"

"what the devil are you talking about" Daphne asked eyeing Ron keeping one hand on her wand and another on Nidorina's Pokeball as she watched the red headed wizard

"already in uniform you forgot how to transfigure the colors

" Ron had tried multiple times last year to pass as a Gryffindor by transfirguring the colors of his tie from Slytherin green and silver to Gryffindor red and gold but there's a small population in Hogwarts and they all knew he didn't belong

"That's part the reason I'm here you may have heard my mother passed away this summer" they didn't know that but they weren't going to sympathize with him over it

"during that time I did some soul searching and I found my way to God" Ron said reaching slowly he pulled up his shirt sleeve around his right wrist was a string of prayer beads

"I thought of what I did professor snape was right I deserve Azkaban for hurting you and I deserve the pit for thinking my actions were acceptable I don't expect it but I offer it anyway" Ron bowed his head "I am truly sorry for my actions on October 31rst of our first year"

Ron stepped out closing the door behind him Carter was confused "did pureblood Ron just apologize to Hermione uh no offense"

"none taken I'm as surprised as you are who is that boys priest he's a miracle worker"

"Do you think he was serious about being sorry"

"We can debate that later for now we have to get changed boys out" Daphne ordered pushing them out Carter looked back "well where are we supposed to change"

"Don't know don't care peep and I will do worse then Wartortle" the door closed then it opened again although not because of an incredible performance of quick changing fashion instead Wartortle was pushed out the compartment the little turtle fell on his shelled rear

"Wartortle" he said standing up Harry scratched him on the ear "no males allowed of any species" Hermione said

Harry sighed returning Wartortle he Neville and Carter went to change after all 3rd year awaited them

And that is the chapter well what do you think Harry felt guilty about what happened to Charmander before anyone asks no Charmander is not a werewolf but Fenrir did do something

Ron was super OUT OF CHARACTER or was he

And worst of all Sadie Kane is at Hogwarts quick lock the doors bar the windows prep the bomb shelter for the oncoming chaos that is Carters little sister and her evil Houndour Anubis and pray for which ever house she ends up in
