Joey and Yugi told all their friends, and decided they needed help to get them out of this thing. "You should have seen it, his whole face changed." Joey said, pulling a funny but scary face to the others.
"Those fangs must have been two inches long." Joey over-exaggerated.
"Not really." Yugi said to him, thinking about how this could have happened.
"But aren't vampires supposed to be just movie stuff." Duke asked them.
"Atem said they were 'blood demons'. It makes no sense." Yugi said.
"I've heard of them." Simon said, walking into Yugi's living room, where he and the other were having their little meeting.
"An ancient tomb I once went into, looked like something had been buried alive, and the writing on the walls said it was a demon that feasted of the souls of the children in a nearby village." He explained sitting down next to them.
"In, Egypt?" Yugi asked and Simon nodded.
"If these legends are anything like the ones from old Europe, then the pale corpse, drained of all blood, would look like, at least to the ones who believe, like a souls had been ripped from the body." Simon went all scientific on them.
"So, there is a history of this stuff." Duke said ad the others shuddered.
"Yes, it seems so." Simon added.
"The worst part is, that tomb we went to, when we got to it, everyone said it was broken open, from the inside." Simon added.
"Heh, so out there somewhere, is a blood demon running around." Joey freaked.
"An old one." Simon said.
"Maybe your friend the Pharaoh ran into one." Simon suggested.
"And he got bit." Tristan added.
"We need to help him. And Cerise." Yugi said, with tears in his eyes.
"We can't, we don't have the type of technology to figure out what's wrong, and fix it." Duke made a point.
"But I know who does." Yugi smiled, hopeful.

They all went to go see Kaiba, if anything could be done, he would have the money and the labs to do it.
"Let me get this straight, Cerise and the Pharaoh are vampires." He said, not really believing the story.
"Blood demons. And yes, they are." Joey said.
"Demons, Pharaohs, sounds like a bad dream to me, Wheeler." Kaiba said.
"I saw it too, Kaiba." Yugi said to him, leaning on the table.
"We need to get them in isolation, so we can do something." Yugi said, leaning on his desk to try and look more intimidating.
"We need to help them, please." Yugi just about begged him.
"And do what? The only way to get rid of a vampire, is to kill it." Kaiba pointed out.
"Personally I'd love to drive a stake into both their hearts." He added, looking at his laptop screen.
"That's why we came to you; you have the money to find a cure." Tristan said.
"There is no cure." He said, not looking at them.
"It's not like you to back away from a challenge." Yugi made to provoke him.
Kaiba glanced up at him and then he closed his laptop, sat back in his chair, folded his arms his chest and looked at the group. This was no joke. They all seemed worried enough to come to him and beg for his help. It must be real, he thought.
"Okay, I must admit, you have me interested. I'll have a team sweep Cerise's place tomorrow, and bring them in." Kaiba said calmly.
"Thank you Kaiba." Yugi said.
"If they fight back, they will be killed, you know that right?" he asked Yugi.
"Kaiba, if we wanted them dead, we would have gone to the police. Please, ask for restraint." Yugi begged him.
"Fine, but just because it's Cerise." He said, looking at them.
"Now get out, I have work to do." He said to them, before picking up his phone to arrange everything.
